Previous LS updates established that she’s been driven crazy by some external force that she encountered in the Eternal Alchemy and could no longer mentally fight it. We should pity her or mourn for those she’s killed, not make childish jokes about what it felt like to deliver the death blow.

Not to be rude here, but I’m genuinely curious – do dialogue ideas get checked before they are added? If so, did no one suggest that joking about killing a mentally unstable character might be in poor taste?

I’m sorry but I refuse to pay a sub-fee for ESO or any other game after GW2. Guild Wars 2 has spoiled me silly, I simply can not go back to paying sub-fee’s when I’ve seen a company that has constant new stuff, so much that I can barely keep up, that always has updated, that’s always fun and never boring. A game this good, without a subscription fee, that you just buy once and then continue playing, and I’m not forced to go into cash shop because it’s just visual aesthetics and nothing more and doesn’t affect the game or my enjoyment in any way, a game this good without a sub-fee…. It has spoiled me. I’m spoiled now and I can’t go back to paying a subscription every month for an mmo game that isn’t half as good as GW2. (and fyi I played eso in beta, it’s kittening kitten)

In my opinion ESO is not dangerous to GW2 in any way as ESO is B2P+P2P+$shop. And I’ve played it a lot during beta but it’s nothing special. Just another generic mmo with a Tamriel sticker on it.

they all got it when the whole zerg killed red knight, but they’re the only ones that got it

I know there are separate threads about the content and story around the cinematic, but I wanted to take the opportunity to say well done on the mechanics.

Dono if it was the new tool you guys have been hinting at, but it looks good. The cinematic feel a whole lot more involved and there is a measure of depth that was lacking in the “on-stage” cinematic before.

I wanted to try to constructively share my problems/issues/bugs in achievement-chasing during the Prime Hologram fight:

The first two times I did the fight, the second I zoned in to the area, I landed right in the middle of the floor laser scorch line thing and was insta-downed. My chances at the “No More Tricks, Scarlet” achievement were over before I could even start. Twice. The third time I tried the fight, the second I zoned in I got the bug (along with about 5 others) where I was stuck in the air in the falling animation. Mist form, teleporting, dodging, activated dodge skills, nothing worked. The only thing that got me moving again was, yep, getting hit by the laser to downed state. (I’m also really sure I did the In Tune requirements correctly, but got no credit… but I’m not 100% sure on that so I’ll keep trying.)

Finally, concern-wise, I’m wondering how long people will be trying for the “Six Minutes to Knightfall” achievement, as the strategies I’ve seen so far involve splitting up… which has led to some unfriendly comments about getting all the Knights’ loot being more important than working toward the achievement.

That being said, I really enjoyed the story that came from this update! I was SO sad the day Lion’s Arch was attacked so it feels good to get to fight for the city. And that final cutscene…

it’s very buggy imo and the fact that u can’t skip the cutscene, man that kitten ain’t cool either…

So, now we have had TWO prominent lesbian romances:

1. Caithe and Faolin
2. Marjory and Kasmeer

And no heterosexual romances “in the spotlight,” or other species, or….
I’m not saying they don’t exist. We have the backdrop romance of Logan and the Queen, for instance, and the two cooing quaggans in the refugee camp, together since the Tower of Nightmares.

But none of them have had much spotlight. But now we have had two that seemed to get more spotlight than the rest, both lesbian romances.

To preface my own personal attitude and to hopefully deflect accusations of homophobia, I could’t care LESS what someone’s sexual proclivities are, as long as the people are all consenting adults. I’ve been friends with homosexuals, swingers, BDSMers, the list goes on and on.

But I also know that the mainstream IS heterosexual. And having now TWO lesbian romances back to back in the stories as the closest thing to a spotlight romance does now raise my eyebrow: it feels like it’s a social agenda being pushed.

I don’t like social agendas in my entertainment. I just want to be entertained, not proselytized to.

So why now two of these in a row? If the story writers were just trying to write something “different,” they could have mixed it up. Why not a romance in a different species, or in BETWEEN two species? For example, Braham and Rox!

I’d love to see a quaggan/skritt romance, just because I think it would be hysterical.

I’m just saying, it seems/feels now after two of these prominent that its a social commentary. If not, why two of these back to back? If so, well, please, we don’t need to have a social commentary shoved down our throats. Just entertain us, and if adding in romances, remember who the MAJORITY is, or at least mix it up with other romances, such as the type we would not normally see.

Norn/quaggan? Human Charr? Golem/Asura? :-D

And actually, someone else I saw posted here they felt the lesbian scenes weren’t for a social agenda but for the pandering to the “fanboy” out there, and why didn’t he get to have two men in a romance? His question, not mine, but I did find it an interesting one.

Anyway. I’m just saying. As a hetero male myself, who DOESNT find lesbian porn interesting, I’m interested in hetero romances, not homosexual ones… or romances that we couldnt see in the real world. Have one lesbian romance if you need it, but please remember that the majority of people ARE hetero, and we would like to have our interests “pandered” to as well.

And it doesn’t mean we are homophobic. We just happen to have our own interests in what we like.

Heck, last time I saw the two quaggans at the refugee camp, the female quaggan, on saying she hated scarlet and wished she would DIE, I thought she sounded borderline ready to transform to that Piranha Hulk state that I thought it would have been cool for her to show up ready to chew on Scarlet some!

(as a side note, I did find it interesting that Marjory appeared not lesbian, but pansexual; she appeared to flirt with anything that moved; I would have found it far more interesting if she DID flirt with just about everything, and thus took more time to get closer to Kasmeer, maybe even have some friction about it in the beginning…. and Scarlet’s crack about dating Caithe in the Aetherblade dungeon was hysterical too! )

And here I’m concerned that the politically correct crowd is going to attack me for this post… but like I said, I don’t care about people’s proclivities in general… after all, I have a “proclivity” that I’m not going to discuss here. I just think that two in a row for a game like this is a bit odd and eyebrow-raising. Next storyline, think we can steer away from a third repetition and give us something a little different?

I think it’s sweet and that french kiss was steaming hot too, at the end scene in Scarlet’s end. Instant kitten.

You guys just keep detaching GW2 from GW1 little by little. With the ruins of old LA gone under that big drill, there is literally NOTHING LEFT of the original Lion’s Arch from GW1.

You destroyed the original lighthouse under an ugly crustacean like it was nothing, and now the little bit that we (your original fans and the reason this game even exists) had, is gone forever. It doesn’t matter if GW2’s LA is rebuilt, the ruins of the original are gone for sure.

Why do you hate the game that is the basis of this game so much? I know Guild Wars 2 is not the same game is Guild Wars 1, but as time passed it has gone further and further from it’s roots. I don’t even recognize Tyria anymore. You seem to not even want to tap into the lore, much less the game’s main plot about the dragons. This living story thing barely even mentions or name drops anything from the main plot about the dragons.

Where was the pact while Scarlet attacked? Where’s my/our fleet of airships that fought Zhaitan (No, they were not all destroyed). Is the pact really nothing now? Is my/our standing as commander of the pact nothing now? You guys might as well rename Guild Wars 2 to Scarlet, because Guild Wars 2, as it stands right now, is Guild Wars only in name.

Sure, the game play is mostly fun and enjoyable, but this isn’t Guild Wars. It’s not a bad game at all (on the contrary, it’s a good game despite it’s numerous flaws like any other game), but it’s not Guild Wars. I know I’m asking for a lot, probably asking for the impossible, but I only ask because I want to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and because I really love the awesome world ArenaNet created with Guild Wars all those years ago: bring back the Guild Wars to Guild Wars 2.

There’s no citizen count.
Citizens aren’t spawning.
Defend events aren’t spawning.
There’s only escort and miasma events.
Both Champions(wurm & zerker) spawned normally after Moa & Lawson escorts.

Why do I have to keep constantly pressing F when im trying to focus on staying alive in large battles? It is very distracting always watching for when you get that xp pop on screen then press F for the loot, when really all I want to be looking at is where the enemy is or dodging red circles on the floor.
I have read that it is illegal to make a macro to collect this loot so could you please add the option for loot to automatically be collected into my inventory, as

1) spamming F is distracting
2) spamming F is annoying
3) spamming F is clunky

So I noticed that under the achievements panel for Edge Of The Mists under WvW I don’t see bucket jump achievements until they are completed, then the show up as completed but I don’t get the AP from them.

How many buckets are there?

I did ‘’hold your breath’’ first, and I thought it was the only one, and now I jumped from a different bucked at a different place and I got ‘’ tidal splash ’’ yet I had no idea this one even existed because it was not under WvW-edge of mists. It didn’t show up as uncompleted so I didn’t even know it was there

How many other buckets are there? are there more, if so then where, and why hasn’t this been fixed yet.

I get some people like WvW, but there is NOTHING fun about it in my eyes. I refused to care about Legendaries initially because of the need of Badges of Honor, but the achievement chest made that easier. Luckily I got my Gift of Battle long before this change, but now we’re dragging people into content they don’t want to be a part of even more than before.

I believe magic find is broken. I am currently farming my usual spot and am getting almost precisely the amount of stuff as though I have zero mf. I farmed enough to believe that this isnt RNG bad luck.

after the september 20th 2013 update i salvaged 26 rares and got 0 ectos…before that i would always get 1-3 ectos

Is it only me or? our entire zergs have to run like 1000 miles after a massive fights, even if you died or maybe the whole zerg get smashed. The whole running tooks like 10 minutes to get to the other side of the map and it’s so much vacity and void.

Actually, I would strongly recommend Anet to make us able to build waypoints at all towers after few upgrades and maybe but public waypoint for all servers in the middle of the map, at The Juncture. It would actually bring more decent action and our zergs would be able to access to better, funnier and also faster battles with other servers.

Please, add comments and put some suggestions how to improve the pleasure to play EotM instead of burn all your characters calories!

Otherwise, the map is completely awesome!
