. I’m not a farmer but I found the chest runs entertaining because they were so fast paced. Having ADD the whole “OMG look a ping to the west!! Now to the North!!” was fun while it lasted.

What? It was fun? Running from one place to another and picking up free loot was fun? For hours?

Yea, dude. Totally. It was the most fun I had in a while, specially if you tune into some good music in the background while you mute ingame sounds. I miss cofp1 ; _ ; cofp1 zerk warr farming will always be the golden era of gw2 for me.

I’m keeping my gems save in case they do this. I’ll have to buy a new character slot and all the bag slots for it then.

I did the story once with my engineer and got all my rewards, when I did it for my Ranger, I got every reward except for the bag with the Carapace Gauntlet box. The bag showed up in my rewards screen but was not in my inventory when I went to open all the reward bags.

Tbh, the carapace shoulders should be changed aswell, replaying the LS is more of a grind than actually playing silverwastes and having fun.

Some people would prefer to play in Silverwastes, others would prefer to redo the story. I don’t see the harm in having both options available.

Exactly ! Why not both ? Why must we always be forced to do only one path. It’s narrow minded.

New content will have a surge of people at the beginning who are trying it out and getting their achievements done.

After that initial wave, the population will always start to decline as the players go back to doing their regular stuff.

Some people might blame the population shift on the change to the chest spawns. While there may be an overall population drop due to that, those players were not actively participating in the map, therefore losing them does not have any negative impact on the map’s ability to complete events.

How many have people found?

the six I take note of are:

- /dance in front of Abaddon
- The mysterious red chest behind the stacks of boxes (looks kinda canthan/zaishen)
- The strange noises you hear when walking around on the boxes in the stacked box room (breaking items, live animals, etc.)
- The giant Jade Block containing a Sea Wurm from Cantha.
- The Upper floor is a map of Tyria (world)

And the one I found most interesting, the exact replica of the throne/pedastal/shrine for the Ghostly Hero, that briefly appeared and vanished shorty after!

The amber chest farm have been fixed.

And even with that chest farming it was fully possible to get the bosses killed.

So 2 days ago I was playing and the map was so full everywhere I went there were people playing, I even found maps that had 50-60 commander tags on them and the LFG tool was full of SW ferries, and now today I log in and all of a sudden it’s dead. Everything is dead, all the people disappeared, everyone is gone…

What happened ? It’s only been 2 days.

CoherentUI.exe is part of the game, it’s the gemstore if I remember correctly and the other might be the login or the character select. I’m pretty sure one is the Black Lion Trading Post (gem store)

Wow… I put in 4 tickets and I had a 5th one but the Skritt stopped accepting them before I could give it to him.

Ever since the TP update that changed the TP’s interface, I’ve had problems with the TP. If I play a few hours, and open up the TP, all the sounds become robotic and then the game starts stuttering. As soon as I close the TP, the stuttering and robotic stuttering voices instantly go away, as does the fps stuttering.

Right after the update, it used to just crash all the time as soon as I would open the TP.

Then, it only crashed after I heard the robotic voices when opening the TP which happened every time I opened the TP.

Then it stopped crashing, but the robotic sounds appeared.

Now they only appear after I open the TP if I’ve been playing for a few hours.

Restarting the client seems to fix this. It just feels like it has a timer on it. If I play too long, and I open the TP, I will hear robotic sounds and then maybe or maybe not the TP will crash or not because of the robotic voices. It never crashes if there’s no robotic voices, but the absence of the robo sounds when opening the TP only lasts for 30 to 60 minutes.

This has made me use the TP much, much less than I used to and consequentally decreased my enjoyment of your exquisite game.

I’ve never had any such problems with the TP in the last 2 years before the TP update that changed it’s interface.

I just wanted to let you guys know.

Did I catch a keylogger ? I’ve been playing for 2 years and I’ve never noticed this before, when I run GW2.exe from my desktop, two programs both with the same name CoherentUI_host.exe appear in my task manager, once I log in, one of them disappears, and then I can manually use ‘’end process’’ to kill the other one and keep playing, but I find this very suspicious.

Is this a legit Arena program or do I have a keylogger on my hands ?

We’ve said this a lot of times but they don’t care…

I was very impressed at how pretty Glint’s Lair was and how awesome the music was.

It would be nice if you could save your progress at checkpoints that you yourself chose.

It’s also not cool that you have to restart everything from the begining if you want to do it with a different toon…

…is not possible. It’s either bugged, or it’s just not possible. It’s 5 AP yet, even if you run straight towards the NPC’s on the other side of the rocks, they die before you even get in range. I thought it was just about surviving, but it’s a race against time. I mean, they die within 20 seconds.

We tried with a group of 5 for 15 mins and it’s literally impossible. I tried solo-ing it, even more impossible.

I am 100% sure, that thing is not working the way you intended it and you gotta fix it ASAP. I already did everything else.

It’s unpleasant and unfair. And it doesn’t feel like rng at all, I know people that got 6+ precursors and I didn’t even get 1 and I play twice as much as them. That’s not rng.

What would you guys think of a collection for all Legendaries – some of us already have the complete collection and have been expecting this – which would, of course not reward any achievement points – in order not to upset the AP leaderboard – but maybe give a nice title or a unique back skin, or even an ascended necklace w/ an effect.

I’m thinking that gathering general feedback would maybe give the devs some ideas that wouldn’t upset some niche players or even the general population – because imo this has the potential to.

Celestial gear is ridiculously hard to get. It has to be self-crafted, because every part is accountbound on this stat combo exclusively. Weird enough but ok. But also the charged crystals are time gated. WHY? I have tons of completely useless quarts. Why is the conversion still time gated? Ok, go farm some quartz nodes and just pray to RNGesus for charged drops. But… turns out the nodes are accountbound and there are only 2 or 3 in total… Why? Why do you hate celestial stats that much that it absolutely must be a complete pain in the posterior to craft a single piece? Even most of the ascended time gated materials are tradable which makes it easier to obtain ascended than celestial. Is celestial really so completely overpowered that it validates requiring an entire month to craft?

Yep, that’s what makes it so awesome.

The animations are a bit glitchy and weird, and sometimes the left leg goes down and up on it’s own on the toon, or vice versa, and sometimes the carpet sticks to the right leg and it goes up an down instantaneously it seems to be a graphical bug.

But other than that it’s totally awesome and I love it I love the pattern on it, how you float in the air sitting and the sparklies behind it ^__^

Realm of Anguish
The Deep
Urgoz’s Warren
Slavers Exile

And so on. These areas can be rewarding and fun.

But that takes quite a lot of effort. So lets revamp how people purchase gems to make it more profitable for us.

I’m not gonna buy the same game I already bought once before. Just because they add 2 classes and 2 races, make a few new areas, quests and dungeons does not make it a new game worth re-buying again. It’s still Guild Wars 2. It’s basically a bigger update that you pay for as if it was a new game. No thank you. Maybe I’d pay for it with gems if that was an option.

So i heard about the rat farm recently and decided to try it as it sounds interesting. So i bought 4g worth of balm and started the instance and kept converting rats which was oddly satisfying. After about 15mins i decided to check my loot and i had 215 ToT bags, thinking how oddly alike gw1 festival raptor farming this was i realised that this is very profitable, in fact, it was too profitable. The balms are 9s each and i used maybe 4-5 per run which netted me about 20 bags which is about 1.2g? So i have decided to stop for the time being as guildies have advised me to not continue just in case.

So my question is, is this an exploit? It is pretty much gw1 festival farming and the consumable is doing what its meant to , but still it just seems too good? Maybe it’s only so profitable because the patch only just came out?
