Playing a guardian i will tell you we do have some healing capability. But its mostly in the form of our 7-9 skills and a tier2 elite spell. I think we get 1 heal from our weapon. Only nice thing about the weapon is ranged. But then again you could just go scepter shield for ranged support.

Are there even taunting skills? No
As far is i know aggro’ing bosses was who dealt the most DPS. This isent correct as im never even close to top of the dps yet i almost always have agro. DPS does take part in agro but proximity to the mob first and for most.
So is it a game of roles? My feeling is that no its not a game of roles as much as it is skill. I’ve seen dps mages tank champs. They dodged the telegraphed 1 shot and relied on the others to do what there class does. And hope the players are skilled enough to get threw the fight.

Gems are level locked. If the item level of the piece of gear your trying to put it into is to low it wont work.

Shoved? As for the problem its a perma thing. So only way to change would be remake or submit a ticket.

You all could just transfer to the same server for free right now.

Very rarely in the groups i’ve been in have we been wiped very fast. I as a support/tanky build guardian get between the mob and my allies and take a good brunt of the damage moving on those shots that will 1 shot me while i keep healing abilities rolling on myself and my group. I also call targets on casters that i know are going to mess us up and make sure the group knows to focus burn whats called. Over all it goes fairly quickly without too much issues. It just takes everyone doing there part and really helps if you have someone playing a tank type role.

Edit: This is story mode btw. I’ve yet to do exploration as i know those are not properly balanced.

Since you posted a build aimed more at damage. This is my support build. Currently Level 50.

(Valor 10 Points) – Purity for condition Removal
(Honor 10 Points) – Superior Aria for 20% recharge on Shouts
(Virtues 10 Points) – Retaliatory Subconscious to still damage when i get put into a state to where i cant attack.

Slot Skills
- (Retreat) Free Block for the group and swiftness when clearing large area’s.
- (Save Yourselves) Gives me a ton of boons as well as transfers all allies conditions to myself. You see here where purity comes into play .
- (Hold the Line) Give the party protection and regen. Ok so this skill works great in combination with both Virtue of Resolve and Virtue of Courage.

Ok so thats my build with gear combo. Moderate damage. Good damage Mitigation. Decent support skill’s. This is my take on a tank type character. Obviously you need to know how to dodge as you can still be flattened but with a outright block up a good amount of the time means you can just stand there reviving downed allies without fear of joining them a lot or just stand at the mob soaking attacks. Not sure about the 650ti but the 660 should be a slightly toned down 660ti and would pribally outperform the 570. Wait till mid month. The gtx 650ti and gtx 660 should be launching should pribally see one of those come in around the 200 mark. Avoid the gtx 650 as its not really going to be much of an improvement.

Eh i blow more money on the ah than i make as most of the items i could sell cost half the price if im lucky of the mats that go into it as im a crafter.

Well i managed to fill the 100k xp by level 50. The other stuffs another matter but its not the hard part. I do beleave xp granted from crafting counts to this as well.

Ill just say i play a guardian. I have gear thats a mix of power toughness and vitality at the moment. Once i get 3 stat gear ill add healing into that mix. I mitigate damage very well deal decent damage and have a good hp pool to work with. I use my 7-9 skills for healing and damage mitigation for the group. I also focus on reviving my party members who arnt dead in order to make the zone a little faster and easier. I make it a lot easier on my party to survive a zone as long as there not being stupid. Its all about play style though. Those that dont learn to do a little bit of everything to make stuff easier as a whole will most likely be known as that so called bad player in this game.

Well i will say the graphics would be a big point for fps. But ill just add. In most area’s of the game i run 50 to 55 fps on max setting on a gts450. So i would say the gtx660ti should be more than enough card to save some cash. Or if you could wait till mid month i beleave the gtx660 and gtx650ti are launching. Which both should handle it. Would avoid the gtx650 though as its basically just a supped up gt640. But the gtx650ti and the gtx660 are both decent cards from the leaked spec’s i have seen. As for other area’s i saw a boost in performance from a ssd. and make sure you have decent ram. CPU well thats up to you. But i personally run a amd 970be thats stock clocked. Hope this helps get your price down some.

Healing signet is pribally warrior.

Could always use the transmutation stones.
