I’ve received 1 from PvP track. To get the geodes to get the recipe to craft the weapon I’ve gotten 3 more fosiles of which I had no more use than waste them for those useless bags…

I think GW2 is one of the first games I’ve played where simply playing properly is considered “elitist”. It’s mind boggling how far removed, being “elitist” in GW2, is compared to the kittenfest that other games and MMO’s are.

You don’t need to farm mats every day to make sure your have a full row of buffs from expensive potions, grind months on end to get the right gear or to even gain access to dungeons. Nope, you just have to know how to play your class and bam you’re an elitist.

This is so true…it’s like GW2 is the game of the “Carry me or you are the most horrible person and player ever seen”. To them, you simply don’t have the right to have a smooth run, it’s a crime to claim such thing…

I wish it still existed, after so long, something in this game I could say I’m going to try for the first time…

To me it means: know your profession and know what you must do in each bit of this path.
Because to me it’s pretty pointless to know the path and be unable to do your job with a specific profession.

When you place them in MF to get the Chainsaw Skeleton, do the previous minis get unlocked like “skins” in your wardrobe or they are lost?

And add an instability having Horric stalking you for the whole fractal (including Mai Trin one) where he simply randomly pops out of nowhere covering the whole area of 1-hit red circles with no chance to dodge nor escape please. AND don’t forget to add a random Lupi to do the same, actually, add it as normal Fractals feature not instability. Only then, Fractals will be of a difficult level interesting enough for “too high pros”, nah not even then.

Same situation as for non-dyable weapons. Why give us a cool feature that would allow us to feel less sick to see the same identical weapons everywhere on anyone, when they could recycle a design, splash some green/blue/pink + mini random effect on them and re-offer them to us as if they were brand new sets of skins? I find this sad beyond belief, and the fact they are starting to do the same with these masks is even sadder. As it was said, it should have been dyeable since the start, and today they should have added a completely new, different skin. But this way it’s sure more comfortable and fitting for a lazy design.

Remove champion bags and every item and gold drop from every monster, dungeon chest, world event and so on! Imo, the only fair way to aquire gold in this game would be to buy gems with real money to turn it into gold, so that those monstrous, horrible, disgusting “hardcore” not “casual” players that manage to earn money by actually playing the game will stop this horror! Either that or make gold grow in our inventories like little plants, without doing anything to obtain it. #Sarcasm off.

I got my ONLY one at 5,127hrs game time. Ive done more dungeons and fotm than 90% the players.

When you get to 5k+ hours then say something.

I have 6k+ hours, played since beta and didn’t get any precursor ever. (except the ones I bought)
OP, if you really think there is any kind of fairness or rewarding your “hard work”, you didn’t get into this game’s phylosophy yet. Proof on this? A person I know got his precursor after barely 300 hours of gameplay. Dropped randomly in WvW while finishing map. He gets so many good loots that he has already crafted a full ascended armor, 2 legendaries and goes full runes of strenght. He almost gets 1 weapon chest each Tequatl he runs. Some accounts seem to have stole hundreds of others’ RNG-luck, seriously.

I so can’t wait for Halloween, that’s my favorite in-game event ever! Hope it will come earlier than usual this year, I WANTA DA MAD KING BACK! Q.Q Q.Q Q.Q

Some environmental weapons count as using the hammer, I hear. For instance, one heart quest out in Blazeridge Steppes (I think) has you transform into a Raven-beast to beat up grawl. Each of those skills apparently count as a hammer kill.

I got my staff master while using a treb in the story quest about defending Vigil Keep from Risen…and I was playing my thief.

Completely ignoring all of the pointless “WvW map completion is super easy and fun, I loved it, best experience of my life” answers (which are LIESS!!!!!! YOU LIEEEEE!!!!)
I simply want to give my FULL ENDLESS ETERNAL support to EVERY single post in EVERY FORUM EVER about removing that useless pain from the game, forever.
In all the due honesty, what makes me now hate WvW the most in this game, what makes me completely unwilling to go there ever, even when I’m the most bored and have nothing else to do is the amount of ANGER I grew whenever I had to complete the WvW map for my map completions.

How I see it should be:
Separate WvW and PvE map completion. 2 different achievements, 2 different titles, 2 different looking stars near your character’s name. If you complete both your character will have both stars, otherwise only PvE or WvW one. Would this really be so bad and hard to achieve for the sake of those who hate WvW and those who hate PvE map completion? -.-’

The problem with this is it becomes a highly exclusive event to one instance, if you fail to get in that instance it’s play the “World is full” simulator till you can get some poor chap d/cing and nab their spot, or you are out.

Right now it’s impossible to get players to stay around on a non-main instance because they just give up and leave knowing it’s impossible to do thanks to the absolutely ridiculous scaling.

This. Honestly, been trying for months to get into a good map. Nothing. Those who organize won’t taxi people in the server. It’s a fact by now, I realize I’ll never kill it because I don’t intend to join a kitten wurm guild only to do that kitten ed event once in life, the end.

Only fractals and bought-with-dungeon-tokens exotics, would never waste any gold for it, I’d rather stay without ascended if I wasn’t lucky enough to find more than I need/want. Wish I could sell it to you.

Tbh I find the gem store updates we had lately so puny even there, that it truly looks like they lost interest even in that. Such meaningless items…no new armors in ages, no new custom features in a while either.

I assume if you want to get yourself sure kills, just camp near one of those vistas or SPs until a poor soul who hates WvW, has no specific gear nor build to stand a fight there will arrive, thinking to be just about to reach 0.0000001% more map completion. It’s what happens to me 4/5 of the times, then they ask me why I hate so much WvW.

Try to reflect or dodge when you they start rapid fire. Today I literally suicided a few very smart rangers with just focus skill 4 on earth.
The main thing of a build which requires no skill nor brain is that…people using that, for the most, match the skill and brain level of the gameplay

One thing I will never understand EVER is why people feel so stressed, angered and aggressive towards anyone tagging up…don’t get me wrong, I tag up only when I must and extremely rarely, but personally, I don’t really see a problem if there are even 200000 tags around me. -except in WvW-
Thus, I can’t help but think that the hate comes from jealousy.

And it would also be awesome if in the filter you could also select level and professions, so that other professions players can’t join and such.

Ever since the last (Yesterday’s) patch (I relogged to the game just now), I keep getting insane lag with constant DCs. When DCing, I get a white screen in which an error message pops up “Network error . Check your Internet connection.” The message itself looks as if it was missing a line and needless to say, my internet is working, or I wouldn’t be here and my sister (in the same room, but on her laptop) wouldn’t be playing the game without any issue.
Any solution or it’s some server issue of some kind?

Also, I have relogged several times and it kept happening, I’ve also restarted PC but it did no good.

Those options were experienced as “too confusing” by new players, so they only become unlocked after level 40.

You’ll have to buy a makeover kit with gems to apply your newly unlocked body types, though.

Thaumanova reactor – the golems in the turret room seems to have their dmg increased, and when you kill the endboss you don’t get teleported to a chest anymore (may be a bug , tho I did it twice today and it happened both times)

Happened just a couple of hours ago to my team as well. Yes, it’s bugged. Nothing to be surprised about.

No need to complain anymore, we’ve gotten an arrow that tells us to use heal skill when our hp drops low,what else should we ever need? I’m just waiting for an automated message in chat that gives me some useful hints like “Hey, are you thirsty? Perhaps you should get yourself a drink!”
“Hey it’s late, if you are sleepy you could go bed!”
“Hey, a friend whispered you, you can answer if you want!”

Then people come on forum and ask “Why can’t we get dyable weapons?! QQQ” But because you will get every color one day, just pretending it’s a brand new set!

Look at the positive and most clever side of the thing: every level 2 completely unexperienced player can still open the LFG on FotM 40+ and click “join” on a party for level 50! You might not be allowed to use your downed skills, but heck, you can as well go and run the supposedly most hardcore-whatever-end-game content to their eyes, neat!

They managed to achieve what I thought it was impossible: make minis even more useless and meaningless.

It happened to me on my level EIGHTY (80) main character, with map finished and played for thousands hours. The best and smartest part of the arrow thingie is when it keeps bumping on the healing skill while it is in cooldown, truly, I love you guys, you are too brilliant for this world <3<3<3

Never planned to do any differently, and the best part of the process will be to see how the amount of people in lower level areas will decrease, how new players will be mostly left alone to do their stuff in the maps with no veteran there to give a tip in guild map or kick in to help with something.

It would work if it was done massively by those who buy big amount of gems, not if done by those who buy gems with gold and spend 10$ once x year :P

The guild bank NPC in Fields of Ruins disappeared.

I despise it and I will level all of my alts through Tomes of Knowledge and crafting. Without buying any gold from the gem store.

To me the only decent thing is the fix to Cliffside disappearing hammer, if they fixed it for good, not like AC p2…

Farm PvP like never before, level by level, fill your bank of levels until you will bring your alts to 80 by clicking! And do that fast, before they realize this huge flop they made and will try to fix it by nerfing the Tomes of Knowledge to force veterans to return to the left-empty lower meaningless areas.

I’m witnessing major performance issues, mainly when inside dungeons and Fractals, and normally happens to at least another or two people in my team in the same time or right after the problem stops for me +(random pugs I don’t know).
My sister plays with me in same time and using the same wi-fi as me (we are even in same room) and doesn’t have the same issues at my same time…but happens to her as well in different moments and in the last few days I’m seeing this lag and dcs issues during dungeons and FoTMs to become more and more frequent than ever…despite my FPS stays up to 40-50 even during the lag moments…

It happened to my team too, so I guess it is a confirmation.

By now, the only thing I hope to get from this game are new hairstyles, literally, nothing else. My expectations are that low, my hopes were swallowed by two years of constant disappointments.

TFT (The Fiery Titans) was created almost two years ago, shortly after the release of the game. We are a PvX guild, which really make sure to take part in every side of the game, from whole PvE to PvP and WvW, and trying to leave a mark on our server.
Our guild counts many extremely experienced players, veteran but also new players willing to learn, because we love to help and teach!
The main focus we really hold dear, is to keep a very social and friendly environment among our guildies, because the social and funny side of the game are what we cheerish the most.
We are a medium guild and in order to keep the most social, we don’t plan to reach cap and become too huge.

To start with, what you like the most: guild missions every week end! All of them unlocked and ready to be played!
In addition to this, we offer daily events, every day a different event which might go from dungeons/fractals teachings to WvW roaming, levelling up together, completing maps in zergs, PvP tournaments and much more! Not to mention our rewarding photo-contests, guild games and Karma days!

I went to Dry Top only once, when it was released, I found it hideous according to my likings, never went there again;
Find LS so darn boring I’m not even doing it anymore, I simply ignore it;
I like to run dungeons and in TWO kitten ED YEARS I HAVE BEEN RUNNING ALWAYS AND ONLY THE SAME BUGGED REPETITIVE PATHS, FROM HEADSTART TO NOW, thus I have, together with others in my position, all the right to be fairly annoyed at this point.

I see a lot of PR in there, as always, and more tasks to keep us occupied, as to make us think that they’re interested in making changes. I’ll let the deluded, optimistic people do it.
In the meantime, I’ll contemplate my intense disappointment…. I’ve been a loyalist of the gw franchise for over 8 years. My faith has been unfaltering ’til one year ago.

I agree with this. It’ll be fun for a week or month but after that back to the same thing.

Why would it be fun for a week or even more? It won’t be fun at all, average dumb pugs will simply ask for one more warrior rather than an ele. Not to mention that seriously, you only and always had an ele in your team when speedrunning? I didn’t and I can tell you, it’s even more boring and 0-skillful gameplay.
