right now you can use transmutation crystal and transmutation splitter to transfer your legendary to another character
this amulet is ok in 5v5
its only annoying when some random use it in duals and make the dual last for over 20 mins and in the end will probably kill squishy by over extending the dual and by spamming skills
not just SAB, we dont have a single patch today, tbh i would careless about sab( not true) but not even a patch..i guess anet is known to set standards and slap its own face with.

Because they plan on releasing a patch tomorrow. They don’t want to mix up the patches and would rather extend the hype machine as long as possible.
When they don’t inform you about future patches, they are ‘ignoring’ you and ‘hiding in the shadows’. When they do inform you about future patches, it’s a ‘hype machine’.

They had a week-before announcement, which includes what would be in the next patch, yes, people were “hyped” or “not hyped” depends on what they announced and these stuffs were actually 100% in the patch.
People blame Anet for hyping stuff they haven’t announced,
“we can’t tell you right now, but next patch will have something really amazing, and cool, but we can’t tell you, but its amazing, game right now arent even good, wait for the patch, amazing!”

one is ok, when theres 2 in a group fight, a few SB(condition clean) wont be enough for all those CC’s(condition spamming)

The fact is that what you see as prestige, others just see as a grind. Do you really think people are going to respect you because you played ten thousand games of conquest? Just because you think you look cool with a shiny finisher, doesn’t mean other people give two kittens about it.
Anyone can go get a high rank very fast now simply by forcing autobalance in hotjoin and farming 100% wins while semi-AFK.
I respect the people who are actually good at this game and who work together well on teams. Not people who have a lot of games played, and even less for people who have lots of games played and nothing to show for it other than a finisher.
If it means nothing, then let those of us who want it, have it! According to you it doesn’t matter anyway so everyone’s happy. Is there a downside to this?
The whole point of my post is this: because rank doesn’t have anything to do with how good you are as a player, it doesn’t need to be exclusive or reserved for only 10 players out of a playerbase of thousands. Leaderboard/ ladder placement based on performance should be the basis for exclusive rewards.
On the flip side, a more attainable ranking system is also nice for new people entering PvP and gives them a sense of progression. Right now the current ranking system encourages absolute nolifing in a game touted for no grinding. This change brings it more in line with the rest of the game, and makes PvP more accessible for average players
If you want to grind, perhaps you should go to Runescape and level up your cooking experience to 200M. Maybe people will be jealous of your ‘achievement’ there.
Since you agree that a sense of progression is important, what about progression after we hit 80? Do we just stop playing then? What incentive is there?
Since your goal is to flaunt your achievement toward other players and not just a personal incentive, you would then use the leaderboards or the upcoming league system.
Before you say the leaderboards are flawed and terrible, that’s not a valid excuse.
Leaderboards are temporary. After I quit for six months and come back, what is there for all my past work? It’s like quitting for six months and all your legendaries and achievement points have been reset.

Except your MMR is frozen, it is only changed when you win or lose a match. Your rating on the leaderboard is always changing if you do not play. You can quit for 6 months, come back and win one match and be back in the top 1000 again.
It’s actually possible to lose 3 matches and gain rank because of this.
So if I repeatedly lose a match (100 times in a row), my rank goes? What if I try new builds constantly and die a lot?
Do PvE’ers lose their legendaries when they die a lot in PvE or try out a new class, or take a break? I just..I can’t…why can’t people get this?

when you see one capping their home and 4 at mid, or when you have a teamate died, because then your respawned teamate can take care of home. if your team is winning at mid no point to go there, since enemy will most likely backcap. usually people dont backcap if they are winning mid fight, except when theres a specialized decapper.

This is an MMO not a MOBA. In MMOs, time is always rewarded. If a skyhammer farmer has reached r70 (unlikely), then they need to be rewarded for that nonetheless. It’s no joke to reach r70. Even so called “skyhammer farmers” would have to be insanely dedicated.

if you want to be rewarded for farming brainlessly, go play pve, or even wvw, no pvpers would want it, go away.
the mount of rank point you need to get titles are insane. i don’t think any r70 have gotten ravager yet, and reaper takes twice of ravager’s time

You know who is supposed to be the fastest class in game? It’s the ranger, the skirmisher. By definition, the ranger has no burst but sustained damage.
Now this is very bad if the ranger gets outrunned by other classes. They can get bursted down easily because everyone is able to catch up to them. On the same note, ranger can’t kill anyone because they can run away.
So, following this logic, all classes should have less mobility than the ranger.They are the fastest.
Errr, no? Warrior has more mobility with shorter cooldowns and a 100% swiftness uptime. The ranger reaches non of those.
i love how you are arguing with a thief who probably has more thief experience then you will ever have, please learn to read.
fastest, most thieves mobilities are instant cast 900 range, while warriors single mobility need atleast 1 second of cast time. shorter cd only means he can long run, eventually surpass thieves in a long period of running time, like running for more then 1 mins non stop, only if he gear for mobility too.
while most meta thieves build have almost the same speed and mobile range. No matter how “fast” warriors are at long duration running, it’s useless, in pvp setup, a thief will always get to any point from home point way faster then warrior. Sure if you are just a wvwer “pro” who uses a fighting build and want to chase a “no good fighting” “good for long duration running” only war. please tell me a way to stop a thief from resetting “run away or stealth” in wvw, lets not mention these builds are also “good for fighting”. i know, cool story.

for PvP it might not be balanced, but for PvE i see huge potential, but anet just dont use it.

because right now, you need to go do dungeon story and only to have your pvp reward track unlocked, so you can actually work on that.

I main a warrior, but i’m all for nerfing healing signet, berserker stance, even endure pain, double endure pain.
But why Building Momentum, i don’t really get this one.
is it because axe sword, mace sword too strong? then nerf off hand sword? maybe?
i think by nerfing building momentum, more people will start playing hambow, or in another word, trait for bunker.
and in PvE this is pretty much the only thing that make warriors use their f1 skill. atleast from what i heard, since i dont pve much.
probably wrong section, can you move it to professional balance.

Thief is a god in wvw roaming, engi and mesmer come next, i might be wrong about mesmer because i dont play it. again wvw is never balanced.
I’ve played both warrior and other classes – including thief.
If you want sad i’ll tell you sad- a level 40 something thief in WvW cannot die unless he wants to or is not even bothering. That’s how strong stealth and some of the mechanics of the class are.Agreed. But that level 40 thief abusing stealth is not going to put a dent in anyone. Nor is he going to keep up with a warrior, and should he catch him it will be same outcome as a dog catching a car.
Warriors need mobility if they’re melee’ing. But those should be offensive skills to get close to a target, not defensive. That’s what the argument here. These are the skills with the official descriptions:

Charge and strike your foeBull’s Charge should require a target

this is one of the most broken comment i’ve ever seen in this forum, whos how much a wvw zergling knows about this game.
It will also make it so people won’t need multiple legendaries of the same kind for different alts so demand will go down because of that. That also means supply will go up for precursors seeing as you only need one to have it on all characters so the price could drop as well.
you will still need the real precursor, like transmuted precursors right now, those wont work for legendary crafting.
Its funny how either Locuz or Chase are in top 1000, but anyway
all you need to do is win, by win, i mean out performance, by out performance, i mean by winning 1v1s, be useful in team fights, and rotate properly between points, and properly target weakened enemy.

I’ve played a meditation guard. It doesn’t rely on protection at all, it’s mostly blocks, blinds, and dodges that keep it alive. It’s not a build that is meant for defensive purposes and is very reliant on skillful activation of a limited number of active defenses with high cooldowns to make up for its inherent squishiness. And it’s certainly not able to bunker.
So please, don’t make assumptions about a class or build that you have no knowledge or experience with.

Warriors should just be nerfed to oblivion.
Rush: 40 seconds cooldown if it doesn’t hit a foe.
Savage leap: Requires a target.
Healing signet: Caps at 350 hp/s
Earthshaker: Cooldown increased to 15 seconds.And everything will be fine in this world.
im fine with rush with 40 cd if it doesnt hit a foe, as long as it wont get affected by Chill or Cripple and getting its range and speed cut by 66% and ACTUALLY hit the target .
just like, say, ride the lightning.
Everyone always brings that up. I like how you try to put both classes on an equal ground when everything about warriors is better than eles. Okay so make it the way you propose, and while we’re at it also give eles 20k hp, stability traits, aoe stuns every 10 seconds, weapon swap and a low cd elite to abuse lyssa runes :^)
