This has been brought up so many times by people, including myself. The fix is in the hands of Anet, but it appears they just don’t care.
That’s what I don’t get. How can they not care? It’s their product, and WvW is about the only end-game this game has (Forget champion farming seriously, it’s a mindless grind and dungeons and fractals are as much.)
Do they really want people who want a serious competitive game, to go off to the next big hit?
Precursor crafting is just going to be yet another incredibly ridiculous grind, and scav hunt will be the same exact thing. You think ANet would really give us some cool scavenger hunt? No you’ll be putting T6 materials into the mystic toilet for months.
I think this also. And the proof for that opinion is shown in ascended gear crafting.
GRIND!
FARM!
and while we are at it, how about making exotic / ascended weapons alt friendly also – account bound – not soulbound – it’s unaffordable to test out different combinations of weapons – or for that matter have a collection of weapons I can change my builds with both with mats and vault space, I feel locked into one build for a main because, getting ascended, maxing and gearing up different characters is not easily affordable for people who mostly wvw – wvw doesn’t pay as well as pve – so while I can appreciate the balancing for pve players who can afford it – it’s denying pure wvwr’s of diversity.
THIS
Use hiding places. Seriously, can’t be that hard?
Yes, positioning them right in front of a spawn or keep waypoint makes them easy for anyone to grab them and take them for a joyride. On the other hand, if they are hidden, people might forget to refresh them. Simply allowing the owning player to take control of the golum the way they can with other siege weapons would go a long way toward providing a counter for this problem.
We have team or friends refreshing them often, using a timer.
1. (Server): Vabbi – Bronze
2. (Playstyle): WvW only
3. (Fun): the season itself: none. I did have fun of course, else I wouldn’t play, but nothing unusual. Blobs, lagg, server unbalance… well I don’t think it will be worth playing until they fix all that.
I agree and it’s something I just made a post about right here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/wuv/wuv/World-vs-Door-vs-Door/first#post3097843
Personally: I think the problem lies with a variety of things:
- Server imbalance
- Zerging is being rewarded
- Outnumbered players don’t have a way to strike back
- Outmanned buff means nothing
- There’s no motivation to do small-group actions (because you’ll get rolled over by an enemy zerg no matter what you try)
Nice.
Please add “total time owning the outmanned buff” in the next one.
I agree. The graphics just glorify the winning team, with barely anybody else making the list. If
- the match ups were more even-sided AND/OR
- other metrics were shown,
they’d be much more varied and interesting.
Indeed and winning teams are usually the ones with blobs or just a huge population.
Use hiding places. Seriously, can’t be that hard?
One word comes to mind… blow-out.
4/5 of all the matches aren’t even a competition.
Where’s the challenge?
A summary of this week in EU (based on scores):
Gold:
SFR – ER – Kodash (SFR has 5 to 3) FAIL
RS – AR – Piken (AR 3 to 4)
Baruch – Viz – JS (Viz has 5 to 3) FAIL
Silver:
AM – GH – UW (worst match-up: 6 to 3 / 6 to 2 for AM) FAIL
AG – FSP – Gandara (FSP clearly less coverage again)
FR – Deso – MS (Deso leading 9 to 6) FAIL
Bronze:
Dzag – RoS – Vabbi (again no challenge at all 5 to 1 for RoS, 4 to 1 for Dzag) FAIL
BT – WSR – RoF (7 to 2, 7 to 1) FAIL
FoW – DL – Arbor (DL leading 7/8 to 1) FAIL
So out of 9 match-ups, 7 are a complete blow-out without any challenge at all, but purely based on the fact that one or two servers have a population of perhaps 5 times as high as the other server/servers. This means that nearly 80% is a fail.
Is this what WvW is supposed to be or is this part of the game just completely screwed up?
Not yet, but we have a plan and, barring a setback, it will be in before the end of the year. Keep in mind, the solution we are rolling out is just a general solution to make it feasible to make them without running fractals, not necessarily a WvW focused solution.
Can you offer any information on your ideas behind that? Will it be a item that will just replace the fractal item in the mystic forge? Also is it going to be a item that can be obtained through regular game play and not force people to run particular content?
It will be and it will fall in line with the other Ascended crafted gear. I don’t want to talk specifics until we are locked in, but the idea would be that you can relatively easily acquire the item that is replacing the fractal item. You will still be able to use the fractal items as well.
kitten all this crafting. Ever considered that people do not like to farm for months for one char and have 8 alts?

That would be: I like your comment, I dislike crafting.

“wash/repeat item-collection or kill-mob quests or dailies with flavor text support, the best stat gear requiring crazy amounts of time to earn.”_ Between the Living Story and the time-gating of things like ascended weapons, we’re pretty much exactly where we would have been with a subscription fee.
Exactly, but MINUS the epic, competitive PvE multiplayer content offered by games with subscription fees, i.e. raids. Instead, we have soloable-on-the-first-try (90% of the time) fluff “content” that is nothing more than a tedious to-do list so you can get that limited time only reward.
You see, one thing I’ve noticed over and over again is that people who have never played a game like WoW draw a lot of conclusions about what raiding really is, and completely miss the mark again and again. Usually people say “one raid per six months, or content every two weeks… I rest my case” or something to that effect. The problem is that they assume the quality of the content is equal. It’s not. GW2 living story content is some of the worst quality, mundane, boring, grindy, bug-riddled content I’ve ever seen in an MMO. Raiding content done right trumps any other type of gaming I’ve ever played.
Exactly this. Many people who mock WoW on these forums, have either never played, or played like 6 years ago when it was much worse than it is today. Frankly, I’d rather pay a sub and get guaranteed quality content that will last me for several months AND that I could fully experience on a lower difficulty level if I can’t find a group to complete it at my preferred difficulty level.
Indeed, I’d pay $50 if they offer a COMPLETE expansion: with new maps, new races, especially new classes, new WvW options, a fix for blobbing, a fix for farming, no grindy achievements, no lagg, a good personal story, less boring dynamic events (cause they’re just a way of conceiling farm x, defend y, and not with a lot of variety or challenge in it).
First of all i want to wish everyone a really good season.
So let’s see who you’re putting your money on shall we ?
My prediction for Gold:
- SFR
- Vizuna
- Piken
Silver:
- Deso
- AG
- Gandara or Ablobalobalobadon (simply for their numbers).
Desolation are going to come first, word is they rigged their matches so they’d be in the easier league. I will let players make their minds up what they think of that.
Bronze:
- Vabbi
- RoS
- Drakkar
Don’t mock! I firmly believe Vabbi will get a lot of
quittersplayers from other servers. We have quite ‘nuff of that thank you. We keep low tier small scale for a reason, to make it full and free of skill lagg and queues. If blobbing guilds from blobbing servers come here, they’ll mess up the whole concept.
So know this: if you transfer to Vabbi, don’t expect anything else than the whole server asking you to leave.
Aski you to leave? Really? People there can’t just join in WvW and enjoy it?
Not if they deliberately transfer with 50-100 people so they can go farming low tier servers… no.
I just want to thank everyone in this thread for participating.
Yeah, no. Stupid suggestion is stupid.
I meet two Surmia Guildgroups on one Map both running with 30-40 People, thats hardly normal for bronze league. I know that Dzago commanders tend to stick together if the Enemy has such big Guildgroups, otherwise they prefer to split up (if you got only one Commander online obviously can’t do much about that happens on every Server).
Also i can understand the Guilds that transfered first to Surmia. But the other that got to the Server after already 3-4 Guilds transfered there? That was just looking for a cheap transfer on the next Bandwagon otherwise those guilds would have split up on Servers like WSR, FOW, Vabbi or Blacktide so they could fight each other and test their mettle, but sadly that requieres guts (only Guild i know that did that is Cb so props to you).
I tend to agree to this aswell.
For those of you who say: we don’t have blobs on RoS…
You see those 3 green dots?
I bet you need those 40+ guys to kill them. Vabbi players are really overpowered.
all this QQ blob here and blob there BLOB BLOB BLOB, if you want to see blobs go to voz tehy have 90 blobs on all maps even when they own it all. Fighting guilds with builds and comms is hard yes but how about look at it as challange, like i said this is the best reset i have had fights around every turn, also see germans walk to a open spot is nice to see untill they set up and AC
but thats in your blood i guess <3 so just enjoy it and if you dont like being farmed join a wvw guild or leave the server
I don’t see the challenge in getting rolled over by blobs, so that at this moment we have 0 objectives on our own borderland? The way you’re defending it, you could be a Anet employee mindlessly saying it’s good, because it’s the system. kitten the system, it sucks.
Hey everyone. I’d like to make a server treaty for all Vabbi players and maybe Dzagonur if they’re interest. Do not enter the borderlands this week. They’re full of blobs from RoS. Instead everyone enter EB.
This will make it so
- RoS has noone to fight on the borderlands, and they’ll be bored like hell.
- RoS has huge Q on eternal battlegrounds.
- RoS will get punished for stacking and the blobs will be forced to transfer? (hope?)
=D
Go forth, and make it so!
We all know that since the birth of Ascended items and laurels, Alts have been hit every patch release. More and more content is locked to ‘once per account’ Rewards that are not, are tied to laurels that can only be earned once per day per account, with a bonus 10 per month per account. Laurels themselves are essentially soul-bound on use in terms of usability, as any rewards you purchase with them can only be used on one character.
Unfortunately with the way the achievement system is, there is not much hope for us alt lovers. Any change that would increase the number of laurels gained would likely be unable to distinguish between a player with many characters to gear, and a player with only one increasing the progression difference even further.
Many devs have said its something they are looking into, but nothing has really been done or even hinted of yet and my best guess is that they don’t want to devalue laurels by making them more available for everyone just to please people with alts.
Introducing the Bonus WvW Laurel.
Every 24 hours of game time in WvW will reward the player with a bonus laurel. Obviously this isn’t a HUGE bonus because it is based off playtime not real-time and on its own this wont help our alt issue.
However, if a player plays with two different characters on the same account, each character would contribute 4/3rds of an hour per actual hour played in wvw. What this translates to is 18 hours of in-game time earning the bonus laurel instead of 24 hours.
This contribution amount could continue to increase if you play with more characters allowing people with many characters to earn the bonus laurel more frequently. This intern allows them to pay for the extra items they need to gear their alts more easily.
Obviously a threshold would need to be implemented so that people don’t just log in for 5 mins on WvW per alt to get laurals for their main quicker. Attached is a quick excel example with 3 alts being played. Obviously the numbers are just pulled out of my head, its just the concept I am trying to provide.
As you can see the time taken to earn laurels decreases when more characters take part in wvw. The thresholds applied are an even split of playtime between all characters so that if you have 3 characters you like to play it will take you only 15 hours to earn your extra laurel providing playtime is even so the system can not be abused. In my example with 3 characters, you can see that as a player tends to focus purely on one character the Effective hours earned towards the bonus laurel decreases.
Obviously this system requires you to play 100% even across all characters to gain the most benefit which sounds restrictive but is not the point. The idea is that a reward which is very restrictive can now be obtained quicker by players who use more characters, which is something not currently available in any way shape or form. A byproduct is that as it is implemented through WvW it bolsters the rather poor rewards WvW offers per time spent when compared with PvE.
Thanks for your time.
Excellent idea. I don’t know if it works, but that’s why it’s an idea, so it can be tested out. Please test it out, ArenaNet. We welcome anything that helps alts.
First of all i want to wish everyone a really good season.

Amazing. Would be amazing if you saw more skill-related ‘achievements’ though. For example Vabbi and WSR both have I think 2/3 population of FoW. Of course FoW claims all those… it’s not a match.
A truly living world grows and changes. Most of Tyria is pretty much the same as it was in beta, and it hasn’t really grown much at all.
I love the game — I consider it the best I’ve ever played — but it just feels increasingly stale as time goes by.
I would log in and play more if the list of new things to do was longer than the list of things I can no longer do.
Well they add new stuff every 2 weeks… but I don’t feel like trying it out at all after all the bad experiences with living story. It just isn’t attractive anymore. Haven’t tried any part of it for over 2 months.
I play better when there is skill lag.
That must be cause you don’t have skill. Yes I read you sig… very low level ;P
Haha. I just noticed this thread got revived after over 2 months.
Well it’s a sign to Anet I guess xD
Spartan Skin with near to the historically accurate dye color (From left to right: The 300 Spartan, The historically accurate Spartan Hoplite armor, The historically accurate Spartan Hoplite armor with a near the historical size of the aspis shield of 1 meter in diameter.)
Exact.
So this week is blowout week according to the wvw ranking map. To be expected.
More respect to any legend player from wsr and vabbi. If I see one of you I think twice before attacking you because you earned it. In the blobs of drakkar you get bronze legend just by walking into keeps with the blob.
You forgot to mention every other server in silver and gold league. Worthless players, the whole lot of them. :P
Please stop making awkward, high and grindy requirements for ascended gear. It kills build diversity and discourages alting.
So it does. Read this Anet. It’s the n°1 true statement about ascended.
Not yet, but we have a plan and, barring a setback, it will be in before the end of the year. Keep in mind, the solution we are rolling out is just a general solution to make it feasible to make them without running fractals, not necessarily a WvW focused solution.
Oh right, you mean you’ll need to farm PvE for gold for ectos AND dailies for laurels. Yep I don’t think so. By the beginning of the new year WvW will be so unbalanced it isn’t worth playing anymore (not that it is now).
The other thread in the General forums should be merged here, and then closed. Ascended gear doesn’t give any guaranteed success in WvW.
That is not the argument.
I don’t actually agree with removing ascended gear from WvW what I do think should happen is that it should be more easily available as anet said BiS gear would be.
This. /15char
The question is… what is the purpose of it anyways in WvW? Why should there be stat tiers at all in WvW? Why should there even be uplevels?
The answer is obvious: there is no purpose for ascended. They’re just a number game.
Simple example (no real numbers, just exemplum):
Stat differences:
Basic gear: 5
Fine gear: 6
Masterwork: 7
Rare: 8
Exotic: 9
Exotic gear: 10
Players run around using exotic before ascended came in-game:
everyone has same armour, everyone hits as much as everyone etc…
Players run around using ascended after patch (if it’s easy to farm like you say):
everyone has same armour, everyone hits as much as everyone etc…
^CONCLUSION: nothing changed, why the kitten did we get a new gear tier?!
(edited by Sirendor.1394)
I dont know that I’d call leveling alts boring its more that the cap is 20 levels too high . You reach a point in leveling an alt where you just burn out on it and for me its around level 55-60. Once i hit that ive got to swap to something else for a while .
i get to that point too at 55-60 even if i use the 1-20 boost and craft another 20 levels, theres something about that level range that gets tiring
as soon as you get through it and hit 80 it’s like “FREEDOM!!!” and you jump around your room doing several double fist pumps… or that’s just me :P
lol i dont know about the fist pumps perhaps a sigh of relief that I finely got to 80 though . Once i get my alts to 80 i can play them all day long its just the process of getting there where i burn out on it .
Yes that seems to be the case with me too. :P
whats this hurry everyone has, I really dont get it. Its like if it takes you 2 months to get your ascended weapon instead of 2 weeks the world is going to end so people rather get bored to death grinding those 2 weeks then getting a nifty reward after 2 months of enjoyable game play.
Seriously why?
1) to play fotm
2) to be on even match in www
3) you are not effective with a single weaponset you need one of each weapon for each character and possibly more for WWW builds that is why this game is a total FAIL with vertical progression.
4) if you don t hurry by the time you get half your weapon, armors get released and you are so behind you can even uninstall the game.
I’d like to stress point 3. I currently have 4 characters I play WvW on:
- Guardian
- Elementalist
- Warrior
- Mesmer
Guardian has: Cleric gear, Rabid gear, Knight gear, Soldier gear. (+ Trinkets)
Warrior has: Berserker gear, Soldier gear, Rabid gear. (+ Trinkets)
Elementalist has: Soldier gear, Cleric gear, Knight gear (+ Trinkets)
Mesmer has: Berserker gear, Rabid gear (+ Trinkets)
= 12 Sets of armour, used for all my respective builds ranging from tank, dps, condition damage, crowd control, support, heal.
And then I didn’t count all of the weapons and weapon combos I have for each of those builds and each class/char. Ascended make it impossible for me to reach BiS gear for one character, let alone for all my WvW characters.
Less blobs please. It’s no fun if bronze league turns into a second silver league blobfest.
Awesome week. A lot of fun
Special thanks to [Imp] guild for let me join their bombin’ squad. You’re really great guys
Massive respect to [PvP], [Jd] and [Tash] to play as real guilds.
/bowQuite pathetic to see some “high tiers” guilds who blob with that numbers…
I think its time for HC guilds to try to play with some unwritten rules.
This is my idea:
Bronze league —> 5 – 15 people
Silver league --> 15 – 30 people
Gold League —> 30+ peopleSee you in the batterfield.
Peace o/
Excellent idea. I personally dislike blobs a lot (even though they reward the most).
Lets make this some kind of treaty?
Sounds magical.
Only wish Arenanet could actually do it.
I wonder how people would feel about WvW if there, at the start of GW2, was the option for “WvW only” characters who had a very limited weapon/armor appearance but with stat-interchangable, “always BiS gear”? It might be a bit too far in the game’s lifespan to do it now, but it’d be nice for those new to the game and WvW.
Great suggestion. Basically like GW1 system of PvP-only characters. I’d like it.
Why should I continue to play a game that makes zergling roleplay the most rewarding thing to do?
that’s a good question. looks like someone’s got some soul-searching to do.
que soft melodies and scenes of Dark Catalyst staring longingly towards the ocean
It’s a legit question and I have asked it myself numerous times (leading to me quitting for weeks on end).
I’m sure some day it will get through to players who now are defending the zerging. They’ll see how useless zerging really is and why it is inherently wrong to reward something that easy and skill-less.
Who’s defending the zergs exactly?
And how does removing / keeping ascended gear actually encourage / discourage zergs?
Read up. Ascended are given to people who zerg (because they reap the most materials and gold).
Thanks for the responses.
The leveling is indeed quicker than in most other MMO’s (I’ve been there), but in most other MMO’s I either had zero maxed characters or only one.
Well level 80 is the main goal for me cause it allows me to play WvW competitively. Personal story and world completion indeed are repetition, but so are dungeons it seems (after playing a year).
This is an amazing guide for people who need help getting started with mesmer. Should have gotten more attention, but I guess good threads are all hidden away.
I feel for you UW.
Ahhhh I left Silver League to be rid of blobs. FOUCKkkk
Hey everyone I would like to bring a topic to mind, being… leveling alts!
There has been a controversy in the WvWvW forum about it being alt-unfriendly, but this is not what I’m going to talk about. What I will talk about is the leveling system and if and why the alt leveling system is boring/good/neutral. I would like to motivate a polite and respectful discussion on this topic aswell, to see what comes out!
My personal opinion on the matter (and why I bring it up):
I have leveled a fair share of characters in this game, 7 level 80s (6 classes, 3 races), and at least 10 characters who made it to level 10-30 but got deleted in the process.
I’m a total altaholic and I LOVE alts. I love playing all the different classes. I love creating unique characters, with unique looks and unique role-playing elements.
Most of my 80s came through crafting, because by the time I managed to get my first 2, I had gotten through nearly all of the PvE content and dynamic events felt like a repetition. Dungeons were hardly possible for me to try on alts either, because they are clearly focused toward level 80 players. WvW resulted in me being stomped by a level 80 that managed to kill me in a few hits. So I had to spend a lot of money on crafting (which I obtained in dungeons with friends mostly). Problem is, I like to play WvW mainly, but then I need to get level 80 on every character, so yes, here I go: farming money for leveling to 80 so I could go into WvW without dying.
Personally the leveling system in GW2 for alts is horrible. The experience rate is slow and the game itself feels dead in most 30-70 zones. The biggest problem however is that the content is limited: after leveling 2 characters to 80 the typical players has completed the whole PvE world, and it become stale after that.
There are a couple of questions on this topic:
- What are the typical alt leveling methods and which one is more viable?
- Are alts a good part of this game and do they make the game more fun for you?
- How do you go about leveling and gearing?
- Would you say leveling alts is fun or boring?
- Did you use crafting to level alts? If yes, how many? Would you do it again?
- Do you think leveling alts should be easier?
- What suggestions do you have to make it better (optionally)?
and so on.
DISCUSS!
runing dungeons and fractual with groups with legendaries and ascended in my super outdated full exotic gear and not a single soul complained or even noticed the difference.
Again, this is PvE. PvE isn’t influenced by ascended.
WvW is.
Why should I continue to play a game that makes zergling roleplay the most rewarding thing to do?
That’s an easy one to answer. It’s how anet wants you to play the game.
What if you don’t want to play the way anet wants you to? :P
And we’re back into general discussion.
Guess it’s good to stay up to date in gear
Anyone who truly understands vertical progression, i.e., a state where power is positively related to time, understands that following the path of the power curve is non-optional.
Only if the content follows the same power curve, which outside of fractals, it doesn’t.
(Yet.)
That’s where you’re wrong.. : PvP.
They’ll see how useless zerging really is and why it is inherently wrong to reward something that easy and skill-less.
defending doesnt need nerfs, attacking does -.-
its too easy to ninja thanks to ram mastery. its too easy to overwhelm with numbers thanks to omega dupes.the rest of your suggestions are mostly good.
Not sure. Me and a mate captured Garrison yesterday with 2 omega golems. We’re definitely not zerging, and if they nerfed attacking, we wouldn’t be able to do this kind of thing. On the other hand if they nerf defending, that’s also bad for small groups, because we often use arrow carts, ballistas and catapults to destroy zergs.
Attacking and taking objectives is awfuly easy. I dont know how many ppl you had but timewarp+golems melt through gates like paper even if they are upgraded. Now take 2+ golems and not to mention you can teleport them in, which gives defenders a timeframe of what 5-10 sec to react? Attackers have a HUGE advantage – there is no damage cap on gates and walls. Walls can be locked down with ease, avaible siege to defend is horrible (cannons, burning oil are a joke for defending, mortars? who cares it gets outranged by trebs and catas are usually so close to the wall so you can’t hit them).
So whats left as an defender is spamming acs or exploiting trebs, because they still hit through gates. And everything gets worse with growing numbers.
Btw those who want body blocking to be a thing. Sure do it the enemy team will be glad to collect your lootbags. Because standing in enemy aoe fire is such a great idea. There are enough options to lockdown a choke point. Of course you would have to know how to use your skills as a guardian for example or working as a group together.
This doesn’t change that if you nerf defence or attack, this won’t specifically help small groups and won’t specifically hurt zergs. It will hurt both parts of the game.
Instead there should be a debuff for zergs.
The obscuring of target models by particle effects in this game are the worst I’ve seen. There’s a megadestroyer in there somewhere, you can sort of see his leg. This is with the option selected to make targets more visible.
That megadestroyer should have suffocated and burned up like a shell in about 5 seconds with all those waves of fire.
So after 6 years of WOW and 2 years of SWTOR i convinced myself to buy Guild Wars 2.
Super excited to be here. This is a absolutely 100% completely new experience for me since i never player the original Guild Wars.At the moment the game is being installed and i am shaking with anticipation to experience this world.I expect great adventures with the Thief i plan to create.Anyway… just had to get this off my chest.
Any little bit of advice if someone decides to share is appreciated.
First thing: don’t play because you have to. Don’t drop into the grind pit. I have been there, I crossed it, and I will never farm again in this game.
Now…. The targets this Thief will be attacking will be full berserker as well.
Which means they will have the base toughness for their respective armor group.Heavy Armor: 2,127 armor
Medium Armor: 1,980 armor
Light Armor: 1,836We will also assume none of the targets have protection.
The damage formula for this game is….
Damage done = (Weapon Strength) * Power * (skill coefficient) / (targets armor)For the example shown here we will be using Backstab skill coefficient which is….
1.2 from the front, or 2.4 from the back. We will always assume max. This leads us to the actual calculation of the damage on the different targets. The stats needed are Power, Weapon strength, skill coefficient and targets armor.
We will assume the Thief will use the standard setup for the attack. When approaching the target right before he steals & CnD he will pop all his signets. This will give him 20 stacks of might. That is 700 power and +15% damage from the signet. We will also assume ideal conditions for his damage traits except for trait (XI) in the Critical Strikes line. We will also assume he has charged up his bloodlust stacks from the sigil.Exotic Stat Recap and Damage Calculations
Weapon Damage: 984, Power: 3,239, Skill Coefficient: 2.4, Critical Damage: 104%
First Target: 2,127 armor Damage Done~ 3,596 if Critical~9,134
Second Target: 1,980 armor Damage Done~3,863 if Critical~9,812

Second Target: 1,980 armor Damage Done~4,131 if Critical~10,823

Target 3: 11,672/10,582 ~10.3% damage differenceNow you can add in the +35% damage the Thief would have if you want (for example on the Ascended Third Target he would deal ~15,757) but it will not change the percentage at which Ascended increase the damage over Exotics.
So in closing, THE OVERALL DAMAGE INCREASE FROM EXOTIC TO CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ASCENDED GEAR IS ROUGHLY 10.3%.
TL:DR Damage gain is around 10.3%
Good job OP. Thanks for the time you put into this to prove the ascended defenders on their spot (usually farmers).
