Agreeing that players who have unlocked cool spvp skins should be able to transmute the skin onto their pve gear. Should be able to strut their rank 80 swag or whatever. I had just assumed that they could. Seems kinda cruel if they cannot imo.

I just use them all like I believe most do. When changing attunements my allies are granted a buff so why not? Traited for that I believe. Why not cycle through water and toss down a heal which also removes a condition for your allies. Why not put up a fire combo field then switch to earth and give area effect might to your allies? Air #2 doesnt that prevent the monster from critting? Forget but it makes the monster less effective so why not. I only play dd so cant comment on other weapons.

Was pleasantly surprised that dd ele can kite the mobs over the spike traps of AC path 2. Tried it on a thief and failed but dd was pretty good. Mist form ect and tag mobs to get rezzes so obviously it didnt go perfect but we did complete first try. Thanks.

Id like to point out that if you do not want to skip mobs but your group wants to… just quit the group. Not like its that hard to find another group doing something unless you are looking for something specific. FotM whatever just quit in the middle of it. Lol. Nice guys dont get what they want solution is to stop being nice. Thats one option but nah Ive only ever quit one group not counting the ones where we were just wiping for the fifth time on the same thing. Skipping mobs in AC…… Ive about a thousand of the AC tokens I didnt come there for more tokens…. kittenhose guild runs where I am the fifth random guy you see some pretty unique stuff. 99% good but if its really really stupid its on a guild run. I level almost entirely in AC from level 30 to 75. End rant. Dont quit. Ive quit one due to nerd rage but wish it was zero. Just go with the flow and have fun.

Ya he did. Just edited the part mentioning 9 frames per second out after the fact. You are lvl 18 and have access to two stat gear I think. So the two stats you want right now arw vitality and power. Put some gems which give toughness in each of your upgrade slots. It seems important with the elementalist to keep your gear level close to your characters level. I try to update my gear to match my character every five levels. Gear should be very cheap and plentifull for you on trading post at your level. Sorry if my info not quite right and its only in regard to your personal story question not wvwvw as Ive never done that. Though if wvwvw scales your existing gear it should help I think.

Turn graphics settings down to lowest possible if no improvement go to local computer shop and ask. Dont believe them? Get a second opinion from another one.

Upgrade or buy a new computer as they suggest. Btw GW2 plays fine on my Toshiba Satellite A660-056 laptop. But Ive only used it in 8vs8 spvp not in wvww. I use it on mid settings.

As a law abiding necro you abide by the posted fear limit of second while on your way home from the office. As a thief I feel no such obligation so when I steal that sucker its getting redlined to 4 times the posted limit. Just be satisfied that someday while you are playing with your children or loving your spouse I will be working in the prison kitchen making soup, baked beans, and tossed salads for my fellow inmates.

Your entire question is pointless as thieves dont care. Does the thief who steals your car in real life care? What you need to do is buy yourself some “omg that thief stole my fear” insurance and next time you will get some silvers to buy a new fear. Better yet next time take better care of your fear.

I just use the nostromo. Main five skills where my fingers naturally lay, signets ect in the top row of five, and attunments in the row of four. Mouse movement and the dpad on nos for movement also, though I find the dpad awkward to reach while casting. Such as for casting a placed spell while on the move. Meteor shower comes to mind.

Be the flexable willow tree and not the mighty oak.

Also be patient so just do the exploreable runs while keeping your eye out for lfg story mides. Throw out your own lfg story mode too. We did cm story last night and it did take up to an hout to find the fifth member. Btw did Anet make cm story easier we steamrolled it.

There must be a dungeon running guild out there. Id imagine they make sure everyone gets story modes done once in a while.

And once you get your story mode done make sure you help out when you see others in your situation. Stay positive

Leave the other weapon slot empty and it wont swap. Better yet you can put your swap button where you cannot accidently reach it.

I can see how these, based on werewolf, would probably be too slow and clunky for pvp with the hard pauses and roots. It can keep a monster(s) in AC occupied for a bit though and reduce the incomimg damage from the monster(s). Fear, Belly Bump #4, self heal #2, whatever, and repeat. Belly Bump #4 does not work on bosses I think though. Only works well when monster has its back to a wall imo.

I was unpleasantly surprised at how clunky and unagile it felt after getting it. Hard to use againts a moving target for sure.

Im guessing that you are using the gold for creating a legendary but just a guess. Are we allowed to make gold? Yes for a player with average wants such as me. Having bought exotic amulets, trinks, rings to achieve full exo, a bank slot, a charactet slot, keeping an alt in gear within five levels, and having 3g left over Im happy with my gold income. Im happy with my 3g. You must be doing something more higher end like making a legendary in which case I can understand your frustration in making gold as Ive prob made just 30g by messing around since launch.

Spvp map where some of the hold points are only accessable by two opposing players at a time. So one from each team.

Lfg cross zone channel so we can play alts whatever while lfg.

Gem tax on gold mailings so as to combat gold sellers.

X number of free waypoint useages as a perk to those who buy gems with real cash.

Some dungeon perhaps fotm where players gain access to weapons of stupid amounts of power while inside the dungeon. Swords that cut the enemy in half staffs that make the ele truely epic ect.

Why the resistance to buying gems? Throw them $5 or $10 a month its not like we havent paid other games $15 per month. Truth I havent thrown them any money but really whats the difference between a wow sub and buying a few gems a month to make life easier?

Imo nah. I still find groups for other dungeons and fotm was fun. I can see fotm getting boring but have only done lowest difficulty so maybe as they get harder it maintains the fun. How many times would I really want to kill some krait, swim as a lame dolphin, and beat on a giant jellyfish with a huge health pool? How many times do I want to free the giant.

But I am guessing that Anet will add more variety so it will not get boring. That is the beauty of the fracs they are just small stand alone ideas so an entire dungeon does not have to be made. Someone at Anet can have a small cool idea and it can be added.

Oh sometimes after using the Air knockdown I like to switch to fire and ride over top of him with trail of fire thing. No promises this will work for you it depends what is up.

I just pve d/d. Attunement swapping is more fun imo.

Lets see… just the obvious ones

Eath: area knockdown, two aoe, gap closer
Air: single knockdown, gap maker, gap closer
Water: heal, slow aoe
Fire: aoe, combo field, fire trail thing good for zipping around in fight

I try this…

Fire: ring of fire combo field
Earth: stomp gain some might, ring of spikes aoe, #5 really slow explosion aoe, pop the protective bubble, pop the garenteed crit thing before #5 explodes
Lightening: pop stun bubble, whip stuff, use the knockback
Water: heal, dodge backwards, slow aoe, backpeddle while autoattack

Whatever u like. If a vet is still alive I like to wolf form (norn) that makes an epic finish.

There is no reason to go there. Exotic karma gear that has the same stat level as what I am wearing? Actually was going to mess around there last night but then thought not only is it a pain to learn what de’s do what it seems that many of them dont even work. Yep last time I escorted some repair npc’s to a contested town and about ten other players showed up and the event just went on and on and on with the town staying contested till after an half an hour I got bored and wandered off.

Go back one dungeon level to AC it will be easier to get a group. Also imo CM is not alot of fun. Just stand outside the entrance of AC and ask in local chat. Think of when the east coast of North America and ect is getting off of work and your best luck will be then.

The other players in your group are as much a part of the challenge of the dungeon as the dungeon itself. Just be a good sport and pull the ranged from your backpack if it is bothering them so much. Also if you are in a party and the rest are all in the same guild. .. “when in Rome” applies. Be like the willow not the oak.

Never had crashes till a couple weeks ago then suddenly it was about once every 20 minutes roughly. Went to the bug section and lowering shadows setting was suggested. Did that and the crashes stopped till I had one more after a couple days. Lowered the shadow setting again to “low” this time and now it has been a week time since a crash. By crash I mean one second everything is fine and the next second the client is completely closed and had to be restarted.

This wasnt in fractals but hope this helps. Did do a set of 3 fracs at the lowest difficulty sinse setting to low and no crash in there either.

Cant get hurt if you dont fall. Was doing that jumping puzzle a mile in the sky in the Asuran area where you have to attune to the assuran gates. Wouldnt have saved me the one time I some how fell all the way to the ground onto an inaccessable area… 500,000 damage instead of a million.

I dont miss it. Only time it came in handy was on a thief exploring the bottom of Rata Sum.

And being called a noob is not an insult. A noob is someone who doesnt spend their life gearing up so grats on being a noob. Also they are likely ten years old cant expect much in that case. Mmmm this might explain why players who seemingly cannot afford a game subscription have a pc and internet connection.

Conclusion: Find a game with a very expensive sub and avoid ten year olds. GW2 gonna be a punk kitten kid magnet imo.

Just get to 80 get your exotic gear and avoid this issue coming up.

Also next time you and your friend start a group and someone starts to give yoh grief kick them immediatly. Anyone doesnt like it kick them too. They highjacked the group you started dont let it happen to you again.

It is possible to jump first and while yoh are in the air move in any direction you want.

It is possible to change your direction of movement while in midair and use that to jump around corners.

In some places you can walk off of the visible structure and stand in midair. Try that in very tough spots and if it works there use it to your advantage.

Some spots may be easier to navigate by mouse movement and others by keyboard movement.

Some spots it feels better to jump across something like in real life by taking a running start others its easier to jump first then start moving in midair like mentioned above.

Not sure on this but having a speed enhancer on like the running speed boost for Ele heal while in air seemed to increase the distance jumped.

Seriously though the elite skills make it worth it. Specifically the one called “Static Cling”. This thing is kitten epic…. Dont mess with me Im an Ele! I’ll cast Static Cling at you. Beware.

Nah its worth it so far Im having fun. Its nice to have some more buttons to push. If anything I will know for myself what they are about.

My only regret is not having named my Ele “Static Cling”.

I just dont feel that the Elementalists has mastered the elements at all. Im whipping this lightening whip around and thinking doesnt a sword do the same thing? Kitten I am stupid! Why dont I pick up a sword? If only Id pick up a sword Id get a huge health boost and be able to wear heavy armor! Why did Anet send one lonely person to the basement office by them self to create this class?

A LFG cross-map channel would be nice. That way I could continue to play the game instead of standing in LA or the dungeons’s zone. Could be leveling another character then when a group comes up relog the appropriate character.

You can buy upgraded items which would set you up to assuke that someone else upgraded it and it did not become soulbound to them so why shouldnt you be able to do it. Another example is the storyline where you are in a cave underground and must keep an eye on some old flags which move to indicate when hurricane force winds are going to blow you off a ledge to your death. No other wind effects in the entire game other than Elementalist push back skill to my knowledge but hurricane force winds underground. Ok…..

And yet he can buy gear off of the TP which comes already upgraded thus setting him up for a major mind kitten. Does give a popup warning of becoming soulbound though.

Forums is just another facet of a game. I wouldnt take the forums too seriously its just people killing a few spare minutes. Tired of real world news? Get away from it a bit by reading the game forums instead where none of it really matters. Some players like dungeons, some the trading post, some pvp, some the forums, some griefing, and etc.

In the last day my lvl 30 Ele (now 36) has been in two AC story modes and two AC exploreables. Once I was declined AC story but that was because myself and a higher level asked to join at the same time so a choice had to be made. So there are people out there willing to run with lower levels. (could this be because everyone else is in the frac and we low levels are the only ones available?) I messed up once and caused us to wipe on the three AC story mode rangers just before Nate. Was downed by a condition after a mob died and my number 4 heal button turned into ride the lightning all the way to the rangers before our group was even aware or ready. Hehe. No on said anything not one thing except me who said sorry. Community is seeming pretty good to me.

Have one 80 and it is easier as an 80. One… if all your gear is also 80 you wont suffer from wierd gear downscaling which I understand makes you weaker than you might expect. Two… I have no elite skills yet such as “Thieves Guild” from my 80 thief. That elite was handy for bringing a noticable dps increase to a mob.

AC story mode at lvl 30 Ele was easier in all lvl 30 gear than say as a lvl 34 Ele still with lvl 30 gear imo. Could be my imagination but it feels that way.

All I did in wow was random dungeon finder. Never know what you are gonna get its good fun! Wow healer says “Can you guys wait ten minutes I’m baking a cake.” Response “Sure…(20 minutes to find another healer)”. Favorite memory clearing most of a dungeon as the tank while thinking “man this healer sucks”… he was afk for like 15 minutes and I didnt notice his AFK in chat. I was kicked but I loved it. Pugs are great! Hehe Im probably why some of you hate pugs….

Mmm in the game with 12 million subs I still waited quite a while sometimes for a party to be formed. That is with the dungeon finder. Wait that was off topic.

Its their right to form the group they want. Ive only had that happen once and only because both myself and a higher asked to join at the same time. Got lucky late last night and did ac story on my lvl 30 ele with a lvl 33 thief and two 80’s of some sort. We four manned it and it was the sweetest run ive seen in there.

This game is not being killed imo. The pve is the best ive had granted ive inly played wow and eve online to compare. Even the pvp which im not sold on is quite good. I just find it zergy for my tastes.

What is so bad about a sub? WoW and Eve both have subs and I felt like I was rewarded in the form of fixes improvements and new content. You can afford a pc internet connection and $60 I just dont get it. That said if halloween is an example Anet is handing out quality free stuff. So well done Anet.

Generally you get what you pay for. Except in Anet’s case as their free stuff is good.

Non subscription based game it does not matter if the masses like the pvp or not. As if I get tired of it and cancel my sub well there is not a sub. Im a part of the masses. Esports would be the only way for Anet to make money off of pvp. So expect no love unless it will improve their esport dream. But if I were Anet I wouldnt care about me either. I dont watch esport and never will so am not exposed to the advertising. I am of no use to their bottom line and am not part of their target audience. I get it. Really the new hotjoin map is another capture the point? What are these points and why do I care about them?

Only Anet really knows how many accounts have reached or are close to reaching “end game”. I guess they must figure that it is a high number. Pretty sure this isnt just somethung that was thrown together in a couple weeks and was planned all along. I played much more than I had intended as I always do and have not even run each of the dungeons and have about 50% of the map. If Id played like Id intended like my wife has btw just weekends I would not even know or care about this new gear tier. I wonder how many accounts that are still played once a week have not hit 80 yet?

Ive been amazingly lucky I guess as done it twice on Borelas Pass. Sorry cant spell my own server. Mmm read up on how to open the gate first and then watch a video of the dungeon run in case you end up being the leader. Find for yourself a four hour window to sit in LA and form a group and do the run. Im not sure but if you simply change the order and spelling of your Lfg Arah Story you should not get muted. Afterall we can carry on normal conversations in map and not get muted am I right? Free questionable advice for you good luck.

I think this is the topic that helped me finally get this vista. So thank guys. It does work you need to ensure that you are interacting with and highlighting the cannon and not the npc. Gahenna you are right. Im sick of my thief so am working on another class now otherwise Id go for the new gear on him. I will be trying to get the new gear tier on that new character.

Yes. One thief in a combination of karma, dungeon token, and TP exotics. Every possible slot and weapon combination. Underwater too. At this point I consider him done and I dont think the new gear changes that. Perhaps if I played wvwvw I might.
