Lets be specific. Hate on perma-stealth and not stealth.

Say “It will work better or we will win if we do……such and such” Orders? This is not the army. Accept it.

Could probably do away with the auto attack setting for pets or at least not have it as the default setting. That way new rangers will learn pet control as many have likely not ever set their pet to passive or even know that setting exists. What I mean by passive is the setting where the pet does nothing without the player having told them to do it. The default setting has the pet automatically attack whatever the player is attacking. Also learn to use knockback intelligently and dont just spam it whenever it is available.

Wvwvw karma trains on the day or day before reset. Love em or hate them they are there. I believe I have made enough karma in a couple hours for a temple piece (42000 karma).

Suggestion: change boiling oil so that it is more of a tactical consideration

So as to provide a solution with my complaint I propose that the pots of boiling oil located above the gates of keeps ect be changed to be almost indestructable. Also that they be good for only one devestating use perhaps once every fifteen minutes. I believe that something like this would make the boiling oil more interesting. At this time the boiling oil is just something we pause for a moment at to destroy. Thanks for reading.

Hello. After I stealth an ally their weapons and the end of their arms change to appear as though a cube has been fused onto the end of their arms. After the stealth wears off the cube appearance returns to as is should be. Im guessing I need to update my drivers?

I dont feel that I have ground anything. Ive each class at 80 in full exotics some with multiple sets. Im perfectly happy running around wvw in just exotics. Everything Ive done has been by my own choice. For the last few months I have not paid attention or gone out of my way to complete dailies and have 140 laurals just every once in a while I get a popup sayin Ive done my dayly. I guess if you feel forced to do it it would feel like a grind. I dont feel forced.

Is there anything actually stopping you from modding the appearance of the game from your perspective. Why dont you just do it?

If only your time had not been wasted you could have spent that time working on your clean endless energy machine or your cure for cancer. These gold sinks…. I do not even notice them because the amounts are so puny. One boss event gives at minimum one guaranteed yellow. Just checked two yellows I had on me from world bosses (see www.gw2state.com for what is active) and there are buy orders for 26s and 35s right now. Don’t accept the buy orders…instead match the lowest seller. Not to mention how much gold a single dungeon run nets. Just running around and gaining ranks in wvw nets some silver each time as well…. enter wvw near the end of the week as it seems all three servers are not fighting anymore and just running karma trains on each other. Lots of karma, loot, and ranks then. Also there are the champ trains….easy easy loot….go to queensdale….troll,oak,spider,boar, sometimes wasp,bandit, and SB. If you could find out where to farm these mats “vicious fang” you could possibly make a lot …idk I have not tried it though. Idk why they put these “gold sinks” in as they seem so meaningless and not even worthy of notice. I sometimes wonder if there is some legal reason why…perhaps if some government ever decides that ingame currency is taxable and has real value. Idk.

Get on (i think) www.gw2state.com or a site like it that tells you which world bosses are about to start. Then get in on the kill and recieve at least on yellow piece maybe more per boss. Sell the yellow pieces on the tp by matching the lowest seller. Maybe put it higher its up to you but no need to accept the immediate buy offer as they seem to sell in a day or two. If not pull it and sell to the immediate buy offer. If you get exotic drops always check for their real value before selling obviously. Check the runes and sigils in the exotic drop before selling as they may be worth more than the item.

Find an easy dungeon run or two that you can do once oer day. If you have not done a dungeon before then I suggest AC path 3. Tell them you are new, do as they say and collect easy golds.

Then of course $20 US worth of gems will convert to about 80 gold if you are in a hurry.

Oh ya. I dont craft so I salvage everything under yellow quality and dump all mats to the tp. That adds up pretty quick.

Failed Aetherblade at Slick and Sparky…..decided to go do something easier while a friend levels up for five manning and went SE paths 1/2/3

SE path 1 (4man with 2 rangers / 2 thieves)

Good points and thanks for letting us flip some towers….as we are having our turn at being dominated at the moment.

Losing the tower is not really my issue I realized later. I do not want to sit in a tower that cannot be conquered. My issue I think is with how much time it takes to upgrade a tower relative to how quickly it is lost. Time invested in a tower does not result in an encounter with the enemy of any mentionable duration….sometimes it does if both zergs meet there.

It is good that you are satisfied but I suggest that the number of players who participate in wvw is small. Possibly Anet would be better served by finding out why the millions of other players who bought the game are not in there. Why are my maps not qued except for possibly a 24-48 hour period after reset. Each map can only hold 100 players from each server am I correct? Seems strange that they are not full all the time. Somethings are wrong with wvww it would seem.

Suggestion:

Increase hitpoints on tower gates and walls so that it takes longer than three minutes to break inside.

Two catas (of unknown quality and player cata skill unknown) were able to take down the reinforced wall before my cata was able to damage the attacking catas to 50%. Note I had to drop the missile perfectly over the wall as the enemy catas were right up tight to the outside of the wall. Perhaps my damage is reduced if only the outer edge of the blast radius was hitting the enemy catas? Also about 50% of my shots were blocked by a giant blue bubble which Im cool with and only mention for info. Or I missed but I did not think so.

Summary: Towers die too quik and I now know why none bothers to defend them. I now know why the opposing factions just seem to take turns flipping each others towers.

Subject: Dungeon AC path 2 – NPC “Detha”

I know it is a small thing but could someone please change Detha so she does not run in and suicide when the players start charging the traps. As it is now we all just watch her go down on every single run.

What can I say? I have a soft spot for that noc character. So tough and determined. She actually rezzes players I do not want to watch het die at the end of everything.

Suggestion: Once she activates the final boss by placing the bait have her run off to a safe area while we handle the dirty work. After all she did her job by leading us there and assembling the traps.

ahhhhhhhhhh! we need to stop fighting about this. The game reward stacking it is just the way it is. Stack this boss stack here stack there stack Teq stack wvwv stack to get supply count stack to get buff. The devs kitten love stacking.

Make your own group stating you dont want to stack. They will come. They might die and rage quit but you will get more. Make your own group.

You can experience this dungeon content without being leet. You may not do a speed run but you can go, have fun and succeed. Find like minded people and group up. I do have an advantage in that I live with these people…..admittedly a big advantage but take heart anyway. Dont believe the hype on these forums about how hard it is.

Im not suggesting you run out and join a speed run without knowing what you are doing I am just suggesting that you can enjoy and succeed at this content with like minded people.

I fully support players being kicked from groups when they ignored/missed/didnt read the requirements stated in the lfg. If the lfg poster stated 80 and you come inside with your under 80 Im not hesitating to push the kick button. Everyone needs the right to make the type of party of their choice without other players griefing it.

and Im one of those players that will happily go with under 80…just did one last night with four under 80… i was on my 80 ele…..brutal brutal run but they made it

are speed runes fixed yet? not the traveler ones but the other ones which seemed to onpy give 2.5% boost instead of 25%

Well…if new players (op was not new) want to do it under 80 I suggest path 3 for the first run which imo is the easiest. Pugs only kill four things in the entire dungeon three of which are alive the rest are structures. Four things how hard can it be? Path 1 and 3 are both very easy you just have to make it past the choke point in each one which are Hodgins burrow room and the Lovers burrow room.

Path 1 Hodgins burrow room make sure that you have max power on your toon as power is what kills burrows. If you lack power even number four ice bow will not take out a burrow in one shot which it should. If ele is in your party preload every one with an ice bow and have them each stand in front of a burrow spawn point. The ele should be able to take out the first and second burrow by them self.

Last night another 80 and myself ran his three under 80 complete newbies through path three. They did it the old fashioned way and did not stack any bosses. Smooth as silk. Hehe then I went again and didnt even notice that a guy was lvl 30 till near the end. He was on his first dungeon run and did not know the difference between explore and story mode. Also no problem. When you are doing an ac story and you get some guy asking for 80’s then you know you are dealing not just with a noob but an idiot. Stay far far away from those ones. Or its a spped run which is cool and something totally different.

There is always the good old watch every cut scene. To top it off as soon as the scene is over say something like “bio brb”.

Hi reuelkb, imo run your friend through all the story mode dungeons as he levels. By the time he has done all that he will not be a noob anymore. If you can tell him what stats traits weapons and skills to use when, then you can likely run him through the explores while he levels as well. But for a fun learning as you go time imo just be content with the story mode dungeons. Then after Arah story is done head directly to the exploreable of your choice.

I know you are really asking Anet why. Idk why but Ill just throw this out there. My family and I comprised of two rangers and two thieves just four manned CM path 1 and path 3. Those are supposed to be easy as kitten and indeed they were. Stop pulling guard duty on those towers and get out there and play the way you want.

If no one ownes the instance a plague of locusts will swarm over the lfg pugs of the likes that you have never seen. Players who started parties with a certain play style or goal in mind will be kicked so that the meta rules and all dungeon runs become one in a bucket of grey goo.

Instead of account bound items that can be left on another character or forgotten about in the bank put some buttons in somewhere so that a player always has the boosters ect at hand. Perhaps players would he more likely to use those free samples you guys give out if they were always there ready to be used and not taking up bank and bag space.

idk, also all of the trees on the island nearby have been cut down and are stacked under water near the edge of it

swam around the force field and it is centered on the Lair of the Seawitch poi

so far none of the npc’s around it respond with blank stares when I ask them who cut all the trees

oh nvm there is a friendly npc camp to do with the barrier, maybe they have some info

go to gw2 and look up conditions, boons and combo fields. Things like blinding your enemies especially in pve where they only attack once every few seconds is helpful. if this was too basic for you sorry

Even after 2000 hours (lol) and certain things that annoy me such as wvwvw skill lag GW2 really is a good game. Ive had alot of fun here….probably about 1998 hrs worth of fun.

Buy a set of zerker for pve needs off the auction house for about $20 US via gem to gold currency exchange. It is squishy but you can sink all your traits into surviveability to compensate till you get better. Stick to wvwvw if that is what you enjoy. Then use your karma to buy pvt trinkets at the temple of grenth (use an external website to see which servers the temple is currently open on then just guest to one of those) located in orr and use your wvwv tokens to get pvt gear from the wvwvw vendor. Hey I suck so I use pvt gear so I can spend more time alive and enjoying myself. Just my opinion.

my personal endgame….
all classes to 80 geared in exotic – 1/2 a class to go
100% world completion – at 80%
personal story done – approx 50%
game isnt done after that but I see interest waining beyond

Give me your advice on how to four man CM path 2 barrels please. We are comprised of 2 hunters, 1 thief, and 1 any class.

We are slowly working through the dungeons having done all story modes and all of AC. We brought in a fifth for the end of AC2 but prefer to 4man if possible. Our dps was a tad low for ghost eater as a 4man. Work is a bit slow today so I look forward to any comments. Thanks.
