The dragon at 1:23 is Mordremoth ? Because that dragon (even if far away) looks like the same size as Tequatl,I really hope Mordremoth is some kind of giant venusaur-like dragon in the middle of a swamp (or he could even be the swamp itself) and not some agile flying dragon like Tequatl.

Even Zhaitan looked like he would struggle to fly because of his weight,since he was made by a lot of smaller dragons,he shouldn’t be able to fly that fast.

No hate btw,I loved that trailer,gave me goose bumps,the living story was pretty “meh” until now,now I’m excited! I just can’t wait to see Mordremoth,because when he dies,we will be one step closer to Kralkatorrik,my favorite dragon. (Also Deep Sea Dragon,but that one looks like will not appear anytime soon)

All I can say is that this mini is on par with Miniature Polar Bear from Guild Wars 1,with the exception that you will not get insta-rich when you get it,actually,probably you will be a few hundred poorer

Thank you for the amazing skill effects and particles,thank you for the awesome weapon skins such as Chaos skins,thank you for the amazing experience in a MMO,such as not having to fight over loot or wait for a boss to spawn just to get KS’d by some high level,thank you for the free trait reset everytime and everywhere,thank you for the variety we have in armors and character customization that varies from a simple headband to a cute frog hat!

Ive heard about someone getting the Focus (or scepter?) precursor from ToT bags too…but I think it is fake,because it does not drop any equipment,why would it drop PRECURSORS?
I think this rumor was made by someone that bought a lot of ToT bags and want to sell them for profit later on.

Also,I just bought 5000 ToT bags earlier and all I got was a mini Zuzu (the cat) and nothing more,no batwing,no color changing-amulet,no mini ghostly dog…sigh.

But at least my Magic find went from 125 to 140%

We need an aquatic race,but I think Quaggans are bad for a playable race (don’t get me wrong,I love them,but I wouldn’t like to play as them)

Largos…hm…I don’t know but IMO they lack a lot of details,they don’t seem to be a playable race because they lack so much details,I can’t see how we could customize them,also they have Wings…if people are already mad with Charr’s tail,just imagine how it would go with wings…people would go nuts

But oh well…just imagine if ArenaNet remade them (so they would look like their art concepts) and added a Claw weapon…My thief would love that.

Welp…it is not the interface that is small,its your resolution that is too big.
3840×2160...I’ve never seen someone playing a game in that resolution.

All my human female characters uses the same face.
The minor changes,like eye color,nose bridge,etc..unfortunately are not noticiable,so…Unfortunately everyone looks the same to me. The only major change is the face,for example,I’ve never seen that granny human female face on anyone,but all the other ones are equally used,and there are 2 faces that are the most used ones,which is the one I use for all my female characters.

What I don’t understand is why some people need to speak with another person in their language in MAP CHAT,seriously,do you want to show off how fluently you can speak your mother language or what?

If you are in a North American server,you should speak English in Map Chat,I think even /say chat is “okay” because if someone does not want to read another language in their chat they can just move to somewhere else,but in map chat…ugh…Why you guys do it. Basically it is the same as if someone was forced to watch 2 random guys speaking their language in front of you,it is rude.

Btw,my main language is (as you can see) not english,but I refuse to say a word in portuguese in /say ,/map or even party chat,because when I have like 2 friends in a party and then another random guy joins,I tell my friends to stop speaking in portuguese in map chat because it would just scare the random guy and he would leave the party

Can we maybe get some cool skins that look like actual weapons without crazy effects? Perhaps just a shiny chrome like the Guild Defender for metal ones and detailed wood bows etc?

I’m just over weapons that have pieces floating around or leave effects everywhere or look nothing like a weapon you would actually use, ie metaphysical, I just want something that looks cool but realistic.

We have a lot of simple weapons already,but I know what you mean,you want more “detailed” but not “full of particle effects” weapons,but I prefer them to stay this way.
With particle effects or at least some effect like the ribbons or the glow effect on Chaos weapons

The staff is superb,at last!

Also,the shield looks AMAZING!!! (with all the emphasis),I would totally but it for my guard too if I didn’t bought Chaos Shield recently

I just think people are spoilt now.
If you play a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game,you must have in mind that you are going to play with…well…a lot of people.
If you dont want to,you shouldn’t play it,its simple.
In the last 2 days people are picking every single reason to complain on the forums,you know…“just because”.

Also,I can’t think about any MMORPG that let the player be alone in a instance,GW2 and GW1 are the only games where you actually have an option to play alone.

I repeat,I can’t think of any other MMORPG that creates a instance for the player and actually give him an option to play alone if they want to (even if for 1~ hour before they move you to a more populated server,and even so you actually don’t fight for mobs or KS,maps rarely have people in the same area as you,unless you are doing an event.

I am out of this discussion btw,there is no point,I already gave my opinion on this subject.
“MMORPG” and “I want to play Solo,I can’t breath with players around me” just don’t fit.

Go back to single player games is my advice.

I hate reading negative things about things I like,and to be honest,there are a lot of complaints that are just to show off “hurr durrr look how I can judge things,kitten arenanet is literally hitler look how I design my games at work I am so much better,wow” trying to be intellectual by being a jerk to everyone in ArenaNet.

I’m loving the new leveling rewards and I’m actually excited (created 2 alts since yesterday) to see what is the next reward.

I have this problem (better yet,had) because I wanted to look “cool” with my shiny weapons and armor at low lvl,but I don’t have transmutation charges to waste like that,so what I did was buy a outift !

The Ceremonial armor is one of the coolest armor in the game IMO,and it looks great,I can’t stop changing it’s dyes,I used it even on some of my lv80 characters that had armor problems (like my Ranger)

The problem for me is: Lack of AoE for some classes and generally weaker skills

I hope you enjoy the game ! I had to wait 1~ month after the game was released and the wait was already killing me,I can’t imagine how someone that was waiting for 2 years feels.

(The 3 years before the launch doesnt count imo,since nobody could play at that time anyway)

My tip for you is to not rush lv80 in your first character (your second char you’ll REALLY want to rush it,leveling up again is just not the same…) and try to get map completion when you can,the rewards are pretty good for a starter,it is also pretty fun,the game is beautiful.

Also,I think the GW2 gameplay is one of the best,the combat system is almost flawless.

I just can’t be okay with the idea of a Zephyr Rucksack being less complex than a Cape.

Seriously,it even has a bird with movement and all,if we can play the game with everyone using a Zephyr Rucksack,I can’t see how a cape would make people lag.

And well,even if it isnt “Viable”,if I liked it I would still use it.

Actually,I already use it on my Thief,because I got bored of Shortbow,I wouldn’t say P/P is better,but it is a fun weapon to use.

Since I dont run Dungeons with my Thief,and in zergs one “less viable” build doesnt win or lose a fight,I use it without remorse of destroying other people’s fun.

I’ll chime in and say congrats. This is typical of the Guild Wars 2 community as a whole from what I see in my daily rounds: Players taking opportunities when they see them to make someone else’s day.

Are you serious?! Did you ever play the game ppl get kicked for not being zerk or being the right class or getting kicked for a free slot in fractals LOL

From my playstyle (pvp and pve) I have to say the GW2 community is one of the worst communities.

In pvp you get flamed for killing an enemy either its fair or unfair.
Another example is tequatl if it fails and / or some ppl on the cannons dont do it right you see much toxic too.

So PLEASE don’t try to tell me the community is helpfull or whatever because that ain’t right, I played more than 2 years all kind of content on all kind of servers. Never have seen some helpfull ppl / the rate is kinda 1:20 so for every good / helpfull person there are 20 other ppl flaming and kicking ppl.

But this is just a small part of the community,I have to say that the most part are nice people.

Even if some people arent nice,GW2 still has one of the best MMORPG communities.
Try to make a mistake in any other MMORPG or,well…League of Legends.
Then you will know what toxic really means

No to mention you can get Exotic armor for 1g in WvW,you just need enough badges,you can do EotM for that

If I did understand it right,the Trading Post was downloading the item icons from the interwebz,instead of using the ones already in the game files,and now they will use the icons from game files and not spend time downloading it?
If so,kitten ,this will increase the performance by a lot!

My Thief,as you can see he is very generic,but I like him,he was my first character,also he is a good Thief,he is the White Knight of the thieves,and he does everything to protect his Commander,he even prefers to put Shadow Refuge on his commander and allies instead of on himself if a battle is imminent
