Very nice to hear from you on this matter, Regina. And the inclusion of the contents of the mail messages from Kiel and Evon in your post, for those that may have not been able to read them, was an especially nice touch. I commend you for thinking to include them with your message. Thank you.

Rune of Centaur - Swiftness doesn't proc

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

There has been an issue since launch (at least) where being downed causes one or more armor pieces/weapons/accessories to no longer properly give the stats that they have on them and sigils, runes and upgrades no longer grant the buffs/stats they normally would.

It has never been acknowledged or fixed.

If you feel like you are a little squishy, that your attacks aren’t doing as much damage as they normally do, or that your runes/sigils are not proccing, you must unequip and re-equip all items to ensure they are working properly.

One way, as you stated, is it log out and then back in for them to work again, another way was to manually unequip and re-equip all armor, weapons and accessories for them to properly register.

However, simply hitting your Towns Clothes button (in hero screen or the hotkey) will achieve this same task. No logging or manual unequip/re-equip required.

It is a very ridiculous bug that many feel the effects of each day, but just can’t attribute it to something causing it.

Always, after being downed (even if you recover, are rezzed, or are killed and then waypoint), at your first opportunity when out of combat, switch to Towns Clothes and back to ensure all armor, weapons and accessories are giving the proper stats and buffs to your character.

Resolution of Windowed full screen

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Ah, so you wanted it to remain “fullscreen” but in a window and at a resolution other than what your desktop resolution is set to.

You cannot have the game run in a window that fills your whole screen that is at a lower resolution than that of your desktop, you use “fullscreen” mode to accomplish those results.

Why do you wish it to remain “windowed fullscreen” instead of “fullscreen” where you can run it at the lower resolution?

The only things I can suggest would be to either use “fullscreen” with a lower resolution, or if you need the game to run in “windowed fullscreen” mode, then change your desktop to a lower resolution before playing the game in windowed fullscreen mode, and change your desktop resolution back when you are done playing.

He could be running multiple monitors. I run multiple monitors and its faster and easier to alt-tab out of the game and get access to the other programs.

I run in Windowed Fullscreen 1600×900 myself simply for the ease of tabbing out without a full collapse of GW2 to the taskbar. Also, some elements of GW2 are not collapse to taskbar friendly, as some elements do not display properly again once returned to Fullscreen. In Windowed Fullscreen I suffer no loss of FPS. In fact, I actually gain 5-10 fps while in Windowed Fullscreen over Fullscreen mode as I benefit from that mode with how I have my setup configured. I see that there are many benefits to running in Windowed Fullscreen, I was just stating that running a Fullscreen Window at a lower screen resolution than the desktop is not possible without also changing the desktop to the lower resolution.

Are Ranges really in THAT BAD a place?

in Ranger

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

How are rangers in solo play?

Was also considering a thief, but they also are bad apparently

I don’t enjoy thief at all :P

I LOVE my ranger- it is awesome fun and I can take it anywhere and do anything.
Leveling a ranger is a breeze and they are great solo roamers.

I play SB/LB Sylvari Ranger-/raven/eagle with racial skills and the synergy is amazing.
I am generally amazed by the amount of damage I can putt out.

My suggestion would be to just try Ranger- it is a matter of whether you like the style and can pull it off.

I have never understood the Ranger hate- when I encounter it here on the forums I just nod, smile and back away slowly.

In game I get a kick out of being the one who comes out of nowhere, gets you out of a tight spot and then vanish- poof.
It is like magic.

:D
I’m naming my eagle after you, Morrigan. You rock.

“Radiant gloves + Mesmer Phantasm painful bug”

There are also several others mentioning the Radiant+Stealth, Radiant+Juggernaut, Radiant+Spectral Walk, and many others. Anet has not said a single word on any of these issues, so either all of these are working as intended or they just don’t care to be bothered with stating that the issues are being looked into, let alone that they will be fixed (same with many other bugs and issues resulting from this update and the previous update that have still gone unacknowledged and unfixed).

Right click to turn screen fails alot

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Main thread for this issue:
Mouse losing focus -right click to turn not working [Merged]
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Mouse-losing-focus-right-click-to-turn-not-working-Merged

All of these are related to the same issue.

Issue: Mouse Button Loses Focus and Does Not Reacquire It

  • Most of the time that this issue is present (it is inconsistent), the mouse actually loses focus and never reacquires it, which prevents character and camera orientation with the right mouse button and leaves the game in a completely unplayable state. Some days it is very bad and prevents you from even being able to play, other times it is only a couple times a minutes, but leads to frustration and not playing the game the rest of that day. Unfortunately, nobody really anticipates it being fixed any time soon. As I mentioned, it has been an issue since beta, so over 10 months of no acknowledgement or fix.

Issue: Nearby Friendly Target Being Selected Unintentionally Due To Mouse Button Losing Focus and Reacquiring It Quickly

  • The recently added option to ‘Disable Right-click Targeting’ has helped with the linked issue of randomly selecting a nearby friendly target while moving your camera with the right mouse button. This happens because the mouse tracking has an issue to where the game reads you as releasing the mouse button (despite your having never released it) and then re-‘clicks’ the button down quickly. Due to this issue, if your cursor was over/near another friendly, then they become your new target as if you had intentionally clicked on them to select them.

Issue: Total Target Loss Due To Mouse Button Losing Focus and Reacquiring It Quickly Over Empty Area of the Screen

  • However, disabling right-click targeting and interaction has simply made the issue of a new target stop happening, the issue of losing your target due to the glitch in mouse focus persists. Now we just have target loss due to the quick un-click and re-click of the right mouse button over an empty area of the screen which deselects the current target; instead of both target loss and random friendly selection.

The only workaround is to use AutoHotKey and the script that Treeline posted.

This should have been asked in the “Forum and Website Bugs” forums.

Though, as to your question, I’ve not experienced that error specifically, though I have gotten a red banner stating that I “do not have the necessary permissions to access this page” sometimes just while browsing through threads that we all have permissions to access….like bugs threads. The forums are buggy most of the time anyway, and many things have broke and have not been fixed yet, like “Search”, sadly. I’d say give it a few minutes and it should fix.

Why does ArenaNet Glorify Lion's Arch?

in Cutthroat Politics

StinVec.3621

In WvW You are turned back to the place form Where You entered WvW in a phew ways:
1. Hall of Monument stone – use it to tp to Eye of the north and the leave the instance.
2. go through the heart of the mists as, mentioned above
3. logout to character screen and login once again

Ah, great ideas! It’s great to know that the HoM stone works that way, that going to mists then leaving mists doesn’t simply take you back to WvW, but to where you were before you went to WvW initially, and that logging out while in WvW and then back in will leave you in the open world location you were originally at before entering WvW.

So confusing, and kind of ridiculous (to me).
But, thank you for these great tips!

Apologies to the OP for this slight derailment of the thread to a not entirely unrelated conversation.

That Abaddon guy and why his fall matters

in Cutthroat Politics

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I did not request it to be made into only solo content. I requested that it be made solo-friendly. You can have your group content as well. If I found dungeons to be fun in this game I’d be doing them…I love dungeons in many MMOS, but they’re terrible in GW2, in my opinion. I just request that this lore related content should also be just as available to those not interested in sharing their adventures and experiences with other people as to those who enjoy group content.

… but pretty much -everything- is lore-related content. If I run CoF I’m seeing the lore of the Flame Legion, etc etc. They can’t make a single player version of everything they make, and how else would they make lore-related content solo friendly?

Not to mention that if they somehow did add solo content as well you’d still have other group content you’d miss out on, so you’d always have lore related content you’re missing?

I think that if you’re “not interested in sharing adventures… with other people” you might be playing games in the wrong genre and can’t really complain when parts of the game aren’t accessible to you.

Arbitrarily applying the rule to yourself that you won’t play with other people means you miss out on content, unless you’re willing to solo it all. I saw a video the other day of a thief soloing fractals – if you don’t want to play with people then that option is always open to you.

Your thinly veiled statement of opinion is actually a personal attack. I will only ask this once. Stop attacking me. I’ve stated my request just as many others have, that fractals (and even dungeons for that matter) scale down for the number of people in the party, even if that party is one person. You have now delved into attacking my views and reasons for playing this game and are now telling me to go play another game. No, I will not. Cease your attacks.

I would love to have an interactive story (similar to our personal story or a living story) that reveals and allows us to experience all of this lore (Abaddon and Thaumanova) firsthand…but not as a fractal where I need to experience it with other people if I want to experience it at all. Make fractals solo-friendly, or make this lore available outside fractals for solo-content only players.

This entire thing just disappoints me.
I vote for: Lore Content Via Soloable Instances
Not: Required Group Play To Experience Lore Content

I’m sorry, but this is an MMO.

If everything in the game was single-player content this game would die fast. The most fun I (and I imagine the majority of players though I’m open to stats on this) have in this game is playing with my friends.

Solo content lacks the excitement and wonder of exploring something together which is the unique feature MMOs provide. If you want solo content there are a vast number of single player RPGs that will cater to your tastes, but let’s keep MMOs multiplayer!

I’m not opposed to there being some solo content, but the vast majority of endgame content needs to be multiplayer for the health of the game.

Dungeons, fracs, guild missions, WvW – people play all of these together, over and over. Personal story you do once and forget about it.

I don’t mean to come across as antagonistic so apologies if the tone is harsh, it’s not meant to be. Out of interest why would you play this game at all if you don’t like playing with other people? Surely you can’t just endlessly do world completion and personal story..? Haven’t you ever met other people you like to play with?

Why does ArenaNet Glorify Lion's Arch?

Once in The Mists, how are you able to return to where you were before going to The Mists?

Click the PvP icon (the two crossed swords) in your menu bar and choose “Go to the Heart of the Mists”. To leave the Heart of the Mists again, click the same button that now says “Leave the Mists”.

Ah, thank you very much. In the first few months of the game releasing I tried to do that, but while in The Mists the button still read as “Go to the Heart of the Mists”. Because of this, I never thought to check on it again as I don’t ever go to The Mists due to not being able to come right back out to where I was. Apparently it was just bugged for me back then and it was fixed. Glad to know that now.

Regarding WvW, does that button work the same way? Just like in The Mists, I always had to jump through the LA gate to come back to “the real world”…and with my hating LA, I just stopped doing anything that had to do with WvW either because I was forced to exit through LA.

Finished First

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

There is an issue with how finishing place is determined and displayed when granting the achievement.

  • “Player A” passes finish line, gets 1st place.
  • “Player A” immediately leaves to join another game instead of waiting around for 5+ minutes.
  • “Player B” passes the finish line, sees nobody else around, thinks they are first place.
Game ends and “Player B”, that actually finished in 2nd place, is shown as having won 1st place in the Race Results since “Player A” has left and is not listed in the results.
  • “Player B” does not get First Place Achievement nor awarded the Title.

Why does ArenaNet Glorify Lion's Arch?

in Cutthroat Politics

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I do not go to Lion’s Arch if I can help it. It isn’t even a visually pleasing place to experience. To me the entire area is a last minute, poorly designed, piecemeal collection of subpar and discarded landscape, model and conversation samples that offers nothing but an ugly, crowded, lagged out time sink to load into, travel about in, and then get out of. I was very pleased that this most recent living story release did not involve having to go to Lion’s Arch beyond one occasion of being forced to for the sake of traveling to Labyrinthine for the first time to unlock the waypoint there.

My world revolves around Divinity’s Reach. It is a gorgeous, beautifully designed, multi-level, grand-scale city with thousands of personalities and stories roaming its streets. Divinity’s Reach encompasses all of the pleasing elements of the game as to be the very heart of Guild Wars 2 to me. It is my hub in Tyria, my home, not LA.

I am more than willing to spend the extra silver or two to waypoint directly to another major city and then kill a few things to get the coin back, than to travel through Lion’s Arch just to avoid that fee with a free gate use. But that free gate isn’t free, it does have a cost. Oh, does it have a cost. What I save in coin, I spend a multiple of in time wasted.

The time spent sitting at the loading screen just to get into Lion’s Arch, and then being presented with almost nothing loaded up when I spawn into LA (what was it loading?), so I then have to wait for textures to load up enough to be able to see where I am going as to not walk off a cliff just to take a free gate ride to another city… In that amount of time I can easily just kill a few things and make two or three times the small cost of using a waypoint to bypass LA entirely.

I refer to LA as Jita…anyone who has played EVE will know what I mean by that.

There is literally nothing in, around, or about LA that is worth my actually going to it or through it.

  • While in-game, hit F11 to open the options screen.
  • Select the “Graphics Options” tab
  • Under “Resolution”, select Window as the option.
  • You can now go to the corner of the GW2 window and resize the game screen to your taste. Give it a few seconds following the resize for the screen image to also adjust to your desired size.

You did what you should have done. You reported and blocked the person making the offensive comments. Having done this, you must now rely on others to also report and block this individual making offensive comments in chat; the more reports there are, the more likely punishment will be placed on them for their actions. Whether the person learns from this punishment and no longer makes such comments in chat is something we can only hope that they will take away from this situation.

Regarding your forum thread, it is actually against forum rules to name a player’s account name on the forums and all this will get you is possibly an infraction for breaking this rule. I recommend you remove the player’s name from your post.

Applying an upgrade actually makes it account bound until you equip it. I am not sure if that part is a bug or not.

I had also mentioned that recently in another thread. Some have reported that, after applying the upgrade, the item is actually “Account Bound” at that point, and that the bug may not be that “Soulbound On Use” isn’t replaced with “Soulbound”, but that “Account Bound” is not added to the item instead, and the warning when applying an upgrade should actually say it will make the item “Account Bound” and “Soulbound On Use”.

I have not tested this out myself, but it does make sense since, after being warned that applying an upgrade will make it soulbound to you, attempting to equip it with the upgrade applied gives you another warning saying that equipping it will make it soulbound to that character.

So, if this is actually how it is meant to be, then the first warning should read:
“Applying this upgrade will cause this item to become bound to your account.”

Applying the upgrade should then cause the item info to read:
Account Bound
Soulbound On Use

Attempting to equip the upgraded, account bound item would give the warning:
“Equipping this account bound item will cause this item to become soulbound.”

And then having equipped it, the info should read as:
Soulbound

New Back Items - Pics Please? +Set Request

in Cutthroat Politics

StinVec.3621

Here you go: http://www.zam.com/story.html?story=32727

I personally like the desert rose, despite being just a palette swap of the fervid censer but as I’ve said on my thread, the lower right leaf part of the backpiece clips really badly. I wish they just removed that 1 leaf altogether. (Or at least move the backpiece further to the right)

Thank you for linking that here. So there are photos of the back items on other sites, but not on the official forums and not even on the official announcement page for the event? sigh Not much changes around here I guess.

Strange that they just made it a red Fervid Censer, as I was expecting something a little different. Not bad though, I don’t mind it just being the same thing but of a different color, kind of wish more back items were offered like that. I also agree completely with you regarding the leaf sticking out to the side and into the arm, it almost ruins the back piece for me, but not quite.

Also, sorry. Even though there were only 3 pages of threads I still somehow missed yours.

I’ve not bought a single town clothes item since launch, but I would buy a Kiel one.

Though, honestly, Evon/Kiel white t-shirts with their badge on it should be offered free in the gem store just like the Devil Horns, Polly (or whatever that pointless doll was called), and the ArenaNet Ball Caps (I still wear mine now and then).

New Back Items - Pics Please? +Set Request

Exclusive New Back Items
Two new exclusive back items, the Desert Rose and Zephyr Rucksack, are available as rare drops from the Southsun Survival and Aspect Arena activities respectively.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/july-23-2013/

No screenshots, ArenaNet? I would really like to see what these look like as that is important to me for my determining ahead of time how I plan to allocate my time for the different activities during this event.

Also, would you please make these and future event back items be packaged as a “set”? Meaning it includes both the skin and a white, account bound, stat-less back item just as the charr/quaggan back item sets include one?

-Note to others
Yes, I know there are back items on the TP, but those are soulbound on use, have stats, and are also not easily found as they are not in any particular category on the TP. You must know the different names and search for them specifically to find them. Yeah, I know, go to dulfy and see all the names of all back items to then search for, etc. That is not my point, nor is it my request, thank you though. Also, on that subject, they need to add a back item subcategory to the Armor category search drop down on the TP so these can be found easily by anyone without hitting the net to find them. Many still do not even know there are back items on the TP.

Well, I did not have the rune to add during crafting…I was not aware of the difference. Since I am not a crafter I was under the impression that I could add the run after crafting and have it work without the soulbound problem. Obviously I am wrong.

Why is this such a complicated issue? I sometimes do not have to purchase a rune for items I buy on the TP because they already have a rune in them. This is extremely confusing.

I’m sorry, I tend to be very wordy when I type, especially when attempting to troubleshoot an issue; mind just races all over the place working on possible causes. I don’t know much about the actual mechanics and steps involved in crafting items at all, which is why I was not sure if a rune could be included during crafting. I, too, am not sure why some equipment on the TP has runes, while others do not. Perhaps the versions of items on the TP that already have an upgrade component in them were originally loot drops, and those without a rune are player crafted.

I think whatever I said can just be ignored now as I was primarily just posing questions in an effort to determine an alternate explanation for the no pop-up situation other than the original one of there not being a pop-up warning presented to you.

But, yes, for future situations, adding any form of an upgrade component to any item will cause it to become soulbound even if you happen to encounter the issue of your not receiving the pop-up warning saying as such again. The only situation where applying an upgrade component to an item does not make it soulbound is if the item the upgrade component is being applied to is an “Account Bound” item, as it will remain account bound after applying an upgrade component.

Also, I’ve seen you post on the forums in the past and I know a good person when I see one. I have more than enough coin for my current and future needs and it would be my pleasure to reimburse you for the coin you spent crafting the item. Just let me know how much it was Do not feel the need to turn my offer down, I know your account name lol I can send you the coin anyway, but it’d probably end up being much more than what it actually cost you. :P Could’ve PM’ed you this, but I want others to see that being kind and generous is something that should be encouraged, especially around here.

Can't sell gloves?

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

@Anyone
I am not positive of how crafting works in GW2, especially when it involves an upgrade, but are you able to craft an armor item with the rune already placed onto it? Or must one always manually apply a rune to a crafted piece of armor?

If you can add an upgrade component during the crafting of the item, does this then cause the finished product to be soulbound? And if so, is there any kind of warning or popup that states that adding the upgrade component to the recipe will cause the finished product to be soulbound?

@lynspottery.6529
Just to be clear, did you manually add the upgrade component to the item after first crafting the item? Or, if my above query about adding upgrade components during crafting is true, did you instead include this upgrade component during the crafting of the item?

Conclusion:
If it is possible to add in an upgrade component to the recipe during crafting and this results in a soulbound finished product, if there is no popup warning stating this fact during crafting, then that could be the reason why lynspottery did not receive a popup as the upgrade was added during crafting and not manually onto the finished product.

I’m just trying to find another possible explanation for the situation other than the apparent warning popup not, well, popping up.

Applying a rune or other upgrade to an item soulbinds it. There’s a warning popup when you apply the rune, but it looks like the item description is not correctly updating.

Regarding this issue of the description not updating, it has never updated properly, and I mean “never” literally. There have also been dozens upon dozens of threads on this exact issue in these bug forums since the game released.

Seeing as you now state that you are aware of this issue of the description not updating upon application of an upgrade item, would you be so kind as to be sure that it is added to your list of bugs that need correcting, please?

Account bound crafted items is a great idea

in Crafting

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I enjoyed crafting in other games, but in GW2 I see no benefit to making my own gear other than simply having the knowledge that I made my own gear. Also, crafting my own gear comes at a greater expense in coin and time than simply buying the finished product from the trading post. The only other benefit I can see is in basically buying more achievement points by completing crafting achievements; I say “buy” because in less time than it would take to farm the materials myself, I could collect several times more gold than the materials would cost to purchase directly from the trading post. So for me it would be cheaper (and much more fun for me) to purchase the materials from the trading post and spend my play time actually having fun rather than to spend my time mindlessly farming the materials (other than account bound materials, of course, though much of those I can throw my 3 million+ (currently pointless/worthless) karma at).

Celestial gear being account bound is a step in the right direction in my mind, though the only way I see it as actually being a good idea and make me interested in crafting my celestial gear is if they had a new appearance, and even then, a new appearance I liked. And since they do not have a new appearance, the extra boost to my current stats isn’t of enough interest/importance to me to put all of that effort and coin into crafting them. I primarily focus on the appearances of my many characters as I run around solo in Open World PvE; BiS stats aren’t that important to me above Exotic stats and a few Ascended jewelry I threw laurels at for the heck of it. Unfortunate for me, I suppose, but that is how I feel about crafting as a whole and about celestial gear; disappointed, but not too concerned about it since I enjoy many other aspects of the game immensely that do not require my jumping into crafting gear. Now, if we could name our account bound crafted celestial gear, that’d be enough to get me at least interested in considering jumping into crafting, though unique appearances would probably still need to be coupled with that to get me excited.

Unfortunately there were multiple threads pointing out this issue several months ago. These threads garnered no response from ArenaNet in them and the issues with night time lighting failing to affect certain pieces of armor (from many sets) has never been addressed. I am sorry to say that players should not anticipate their getting around to correcting the issue.

Try correcting people that keep saying Jormag is up, while it’s supossed to be claw….

Double ‘P’, single ‘S’.
:P

I grow even more disappointed each day from how frequently I see character names spelled incorrectly. I would think that someone would not mind the few seconds it would take to verify the correct spelling of a word before permanently using it in the naming of a character. Instead, there are far too many who cannot be bothered with this slight effort and they end up with an incorrectly spelled word permanently in their character’s name. Well, perhaps not permanent any longer due to the release of the Name Change Contract on March 26th, if they can be bothered to purchase it and use it and then manage to spell it correctly the second time.

My sisters friend (when they were younger) made an email intended to be something like SweetAngel@whatever.com. Instead, she made it SweetAngle@whatever.com. It gave us a few good laughs

:D
I’ve seen many an “Angle” in this game. :\

Also, PixelPumpkin, I see now what led you to start this thread. Reading this other thread and seeing how frequently Kiel is spelled incorrectly is starting to irk me something fierce!
(I almost put ‘feirce’ on purpose, but couldn’t bring myself to do it).

Zenith weapon skin bug.

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

How would you imagine a person (or character in game) would draw a dagger or axe or sword? You reach to your left hip with your right hand and grab the handle, and left hand to right hip and grab that handle. Can you please picture or act out attempting to draw an axe or dagger, etc with the hand on the same side of your body as the weapon. Also, when an axe is on your left hip, the blade faces forward while hanging and not backward as the right hand drawing it causes the blade to be angled downward then after it is drawn; same with single-edged swords and daggers…otherwise they would be blade side up when going to attack.

radiant vambraces graphical bugs

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Additional screenshots of the issue, this time on my Sylvari Mesmer wearing the Feathered Chest. Apparently the entire glowing vambraces portion of the gloves are removed so I’m simply left with white gloves that do not have the Radiant glow.

If this was an attempt at fixing these gloves with this chest armor, you removed the wrong part. What is the point now of putting on the Radiant Vambraces with this chest armor if you now removed the “Radiant” aspect of the “Radiant Vambraces”?

Also, notice that my entire palm now sticks through the glove. So the hand portion of the gloves doesn’t even cover my hands…unless that is the gray portion of the vambraces that extends up the forearm that is now removed instead of my palms (hard to tell, it matches my skin tone on my sylvari).

edit
Both my human and my sylvari are both wearing the Feathered chest piece and Radiant Vambraces.
On the human the radiant glow persists with the sleeves of the feathered chest flaring through at the wrists.
On the mesmer the radiant glow is removed and only the hand portion of the vambraces is visible.
So, there seems to also be a bug either with the sylvari race, the mesmer class, or I have seen some bugs in the past where a graphical bug on the torso goes away when pants are removed or replaced with different pants, that it is only in certain combinations where a bug is apparent.
Since my human necro is wearing cultural tier 3 pants and does not have the radiant portion of the vambraces hidden, and my sylvari mesmer has winged pants on and experiences the radiant portion of the vambraces being removed, I am now going to attempt to de-pants my mesmer and see if the radiant part of the gloves reappears to see if it is only in this combination with my race. Since the OP’s screenshots show their human wearing the winged pants with the feathered chest and the radiant portion of the vambraces is still visible, it’s possible that it is race related that is causing my sylvari to completely lose the radiant portion of the vambraces.

Unfortunately, I believe the real bug may be in that the radiant portion of the vambraces is not being hidden on the human as it is intended to be as evidence in my sylvari screenshot. Though I believe the OP, and myself, are requesting the flaring material at the wrists of the feathered chest armor to be hidden while wearing the Radiant Vambraces instead of removing/hiding the radiant aspect of the vambraces as it seems is intended happen.
