I’m also with the ones who don’t want them (personally. They can be in game for all I care). Big capes would clip alot, small capes are plain ugly imo.

From my experience in EU, night time SW is the most successful while weekend afternoons fail the most.

I’m pretty happy with my Celes mesmer in WvW, haven’t tried it that much in PvP. Using GS and Staff, 4 (I, X) 0 2 (V) 2 (IV) 6 (V, VII, XI).
I use Ether Feast as a heal skill instead of signet because it’s CD. As utilities I use Decoy, Mirror Images and Blink and Mass Invisibility or Polymorph Moa for elite.
It is not the most DPS build, but I’m cool with that since I enjoy some survivability. The damage on Celes is not that bad in my opinion and I can still get a decent amount of Condi pressure from this build, making both F1 and F2 shatters useful.

Since I’m not very fond of clones on dodge, I keep my second line 0, to compensate I get Staff 2 and 3 illusions (their cds are alright) and Mirror Images (for that extra Stun Break too).

If anyone is willing to try it out, some review would be more than welcome. Keep in mind this is not meant to be a max DPS build.

Silverwastes event monsters don’t loot anything, so you are better off with a DPS build helping out imo.

And here we are… buying the game and playing for free. Dreamjob :’(

Why would you get rid of the superior non-lore-breaking wings?

Because they are small, made of light so not quite real wings (althou I wish new ones had some glow), their angle looks weird to me and the tips are horrible. But then again, until we get white ones (if we do) those suit my needs better. This is all personal opinion of course.

I also use tab to target and find this annoying. With mesmer clones I get it, it’s part of their function, but I believe that’s not what ranger pets or rune pets are for.

What do you guys think of the idea of having an in game art gallery where one would have concept art and a brief description of things like characters, races, places, etc?

The art would be locked and one could unlock it via many ways, for example when completing a Slayer achievement, the art of the respective monster would be unlocked. Completing an Order storyline would unlock the art concerning that order’s characters, and so on.

Personally I think this would be a positive thing to keep players aware of lore in game.

Genesis for light chars, Entropy for dark ones.

If you do the maths with NEW armor and NEW outfits, those numbers will change. I personally couldn’t care less if they keep throwing more outfits, it’s simple, if I don’t like them, I don’t buy them.

Something like that happened to my girlfriend yesterday and I thought I was crazy or maybe I had missed something about the class. It was a mesmer, I play a mesmer and am aware of downed skill 2, however, one is also aware of its cooldown, and that mesmer ported back 3 times when she was trying to stomp.

Despite also being easy and soloable, Shadow Of The Dragon was a way better fight than Zaithan. Personally I’d prefer if Mordremoth was an Open World event like Vinewrath or the Marionette.

How do you teach a dog that what it does is wrong? you punish it.

Negative reinforcement is the least effective way to train a dog. I’ve been training dogs professionally for years, believe me. As far as people go though, punishment might work? I’m no human psychologist, but I’m interested in how effective negative reinforcement actually is. I could see it going either way.

Just want to clarify here a few things about reinforcement… First off, I agree with you completely, I think scolding, screaming and punishing generally to be one of the worst ways to train a dog. However, all of these actually fall under the term of positive reinforcement. A goo dway to look at it is positive = presentation of a stimulus in response to a behaviour and negative = removal of stimulus in response to a behavious.

Also, punishment is different from negative reinforcement. The first has the purpose to end or minimize a behavior while the second is about maintaining one.

A built in simple composer for the instruments would be nice since everyone is already using macros nowadays.

Same thing happened to me twice yesterday, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
The description read “85% (bring shovels)” and the map was 2 or 5%. If it’s shovels they are looking for, it’s pretty stupid to assume someone who wanted to do the VW and gets tricked like this is going to stay at your chest farm and share their shovels with you.

They can’t make filters for all the possible misspellings of offensive words.

I like the new dailies in general. Only thing I don’t like is the time needed to finish PvE daily compared to PvP or WvW.
Daily events in particular are a pain for two reasons: most events have been completed, so you gotta look a lot for them (or if you look for a tag/ask for events, you can easily get there and it is over).
Second reason is the zerging that occurs, making easy events become a stressful task to hit one mob and get its xp.

About the rewards, the only daily I feel worth doing is Keep Capturer for the tome.

Indeed, personally I believe they spend more time working on female armor than male. Also, one just has to look at how ugly stretched most Charr armor looks to notice that all (except cultural, of course) armor was created for human.
I also wish Asura and Charr armor wasn’t unisex, I was very disappointed when I changed my Asura to female.

Although January 13th Release Notes read that this problem was fixed, mine keep resetting.

Same, I paid for a finisher I rarely see. Almost everytime I stomp it shows the plain ugly stick finisher.

I think we should never be sent to ending matches, not only on Bell Choir, but also Winter’s Wonderland. That jumping puzzle takes about 2 and a half minutes to complete, so it makes no sense at all that one spends over 10 minutes (which feels like alot more) just trying to get to a match with at least 5 minutes.
