Yes of course. We dropped the first Trojan horse outside garrison giggling the entire time from the shadows as an apparently new transfer to SoR picked it up and brought it inside. Anet thought killing all SoR was too much, so they instead just kicked them all out and shutdown the login server as we all climbed out and took back our bl. It was a great success and many high fives were handed out.

The only real answer to your query is the Tarnished Coast. We are heavy in both PvE and WvW, supporting the needs of both the hardcore WvW’er with our established and well known guilds as well the casual who just likes to dabble. If you want to experience everything GW2 has to offer, TC is the answer. Here’s a taste of some of the creativity you can find on TC!

Trojan Horse: a portal that can be dropped at the door of an enemy garrison. If someone actually picks it up and brings it inside, every enemy player on the map is instantly teleported into the garrison. What do you think?

When will the two roleplaying servers unite and form one Roleplaying SUPERSERVER?

People will still complain about culling because most people don’t even realize what culling is and isn’t and the change isn’t getting rid of culling, just changing how it works.

More on point, the whole downed system was clearly created with PVE in mind. I think they realized that the only way to create a game with no healers or tanks was to just include dying and ressing as part of the process. Its clunky and I can’t imagine anyone wouldn’t just prefer tank and healer classes, of course maybe I’m wrong. Either way, it really has no place in WvW or PvP and I’d rather they just got rid of it.

Though I’ve never heard it spoken, I think it really hurts us that there is an unofficial Euro RP server and an unofficial NA RP server. I’d love for us to combine but they are as much if not more popular than we are! If we ever do come together, I predict a new T1 leader ;P

I would like to point out that they endured 7 weeks of 2nd place finishes and 2 weeks of 3rd, as the glorious Isle of Janthir reigned supreme and unchallenged for second place twice in the Long Battle.

Noone is banned for a report, or even 100 reports. Anet investigates every claim, and other than them using the system in place to fight such a ban, posting here is really pointless. Let the system work.

Sanctum of Rall is an awesome server, and has many have mentioned, when you read the background story and find out so many people arrived there because of it, its just more reason to be impressed. They endured 9 weeks of second place finishes to BG because they simply couldn’t field the bodies to overcome the overnight waves of blackgaters that dominated the ppt, and yet here they are, ready to rise up into T1 and probably do pretty well.

They made a choice to relax a bit, to make sure they got everyone who wanted onto their server before the 28th, and I can’t slight them that. The relaxed state certainly made for more fun battles for me, so who cares if it didn’t exactly fit into our plans. None of this transfer business did, and we only have Anet and human nature to blame.

You want to be competitive, you want to have fun, just don’t do it at the expense of the guy on the other side. Their community has as much to be proud of as ours and I think both servers are legitimately stronger than when we first met a couple weeks ago. Lets keep it classy.

Tarnished Coast is a great server for sure, and we of course welcome anyone and everyone who wants to come, but we certainly didn’t make the good name we have taunting or making others feel bad. Lets just all agree to go our seperate ways, wherever that path leads and try to avoid too much more drama for this one thread, Thanks!

You guys have every right to run any event you want and I’m sure that for SoR, this is alot of fun. I would only say that if you are going to announce this sort of thing on the wvw forums you should try to include all 3 servers. You essentially have a 100 man zerg running from BL to BL and I’m pretty sure noone from SbI or TC want to attend that.

Lol everytime I read SOS complaining about something it’s a tactic we use and counter in t2 already. Is it because you guys get trapped in this tier and don’t see stuff till someone moves over or up? In my head I see pre bg tier 1 as all three servers arranged in the three lined sides of a triangle taking turns auto attacking each other.

First time I tried beer I was 8. My dad let me try a little sip and wow it was horrible. I don’t remember what kind it was, but it was bitter and gross and I think I just spit it out. Fast forward a couple years later and I’m 16 hanging with some friends at a park and wow, that was some good beer. Not because beer got any better, but because I was with my best friend’s in the world and we were having fun.

TlDR: doing anything with your friends is usually fun. Don’t drink and drive.

Thanks for all the kind words Choo, TW, Fear. There are alot of new tags on the battlefield but we always recognize yours first and plan accordingly. There is much talk here on how SoR is planning to get better, and I can tell you TC is no different.

The free transfer shuffle forced every guild in the game, regardless of server, to confront some demons and deal with issues that were always there, just being put off till some later date. Well that date is the 28th, and it was a little scary for awhile.

[PiNK] is Tarnished Coast though, along with countless other small and large guids. We are happy to be here, fight here and play here and as much as we want to get better everyday, we’ll continue to fight with the awesome people of TC no matter where that battleground is and what enemies we have to fight. We picked up alot of new friends this week, and there’s plenty time to pick up more. Don’t be fooled into thinking somehow TC got weaker, because I guarantee you we did not.

For any server coming up, we’ll be waiting. We would love for you to underestimate us. And to SoR, best of luck as well. For those worried about ratings atm, you are missing out on a great time to have fun. Never was the overall score so meaningless.

According to your own players, you guys have so much internal strife and conflict about remaining competitive. You’ve had 1 guild just up and leave with countless other original TC players. You have half your player base wanting an organized alliance, the other half wanting to keep TC true to its colors. Your biggest WvW guilds which are carrying your server are getting so much heat they are even thinking of transferring to other servers.

You seem to have a lot of opinions about the state of SoR and the mindset of its players peppered through all your posts in this thread. You should really worry about your own house before you try and help others.

Are we talking about the same Tarnished Coast server? I think you are exaggerating an exaggeration.

He’s trying to say in the nicest way possible to please worry about our own server and not his. Its a good sentiment. Some great fights in Hills on SorBL, and I’m sure more to come. This is what I enjoy most about wvw, no scores or ratings, just my guild and my server working together to take a target then defend it for a bit. Keep it coming SoR!

It is beneficial for both SoR and TC to keep SBI up in tier 2 for 1 more week. I am sure neither wants Maguuma up in T2 yet.

The fact that FA, even with all their transfers, cannot dominate CD or DB speaks volumes on how tight the first 3 tiers can be in the near future.

Having a ghost server in a T2 matchup helps noone. You are forcing us to fight a 1v1 with a much harder opponent when we can’t even use opportunity attacks and have to either ninja or go full force on everything. Most of us would prefer to be third place in a real matchup, rather than second in a pretend one. Anyways, I realize it isn’t your fault, nor anyone elses for that matter, but we would truly welcome a third T2 server in this matchup.

Rg, come to TC and help us destroy those filthy rallians. Everytime they take over our keeps overnight they leave all the toilets dirty and drink our beer. This must not stand!

Can’t we all agree to just keep our private server business on our community forums? Many of us from all sides go to great lengths to keep this forum a place to talk about the matchup, and I’m pretty sure SoR and Sbi really don’t care. Can’t wait till work is over, I’m ready to battle!

If TC wants us out so bad, you can just stop showing up to WvW and tank the match. That is out of our control completely.

The fact is that servers that push to get to T1 unbalance tiers and ruin a lot of good fights along the way. It’s how the system works, it’s a no win situation, and it sucks.

But you don’t have to rub salt in the wound by basically saying i’m going to do what I want, and if you don’t like it you can stop playing for a week.

TC relaxed greatly on our last weeks in T3 as we we’re blowing out FA and CD and there was even talk then of not wanting to go to T2 during the holidays, for fear we would lose too many of our pve and rp players to the holiday content. We didn’t really have enough coordination or desire to actually affect anything though, so it was just talk, but we can’t pretend we are somehow above it.

That being said, I think there is some merit to why ruin the momentum you have? There are no certainties in a game of confidence and if something odd does happen, and you lose your opportunity, you will probably regret it.

To be fair, as much as they might not be beating us as much as they could, we also aren’t fighting back as well as we could, so I’m pretty sure it evens out. We aren’t fielding as many people every night as we have in previous weeks, which is completely understandable.

Also, I can’t blame them for not wanting to move up so fast, because this is the first week in so long that they have been this strong, and enjoyed so much success, and I’m sure the issues BG is having in T1 is frightening to them all. Still, with SBI being a ghost, its really not fair to anyone. Even a third server from below would make this matchup more fun.
