Problem is that Thief’s Scropion wire is buggy meanwhile Guardian can successfully pull chained targets.

I’m killing Turret engis with warrior(not hambow).
I’m not focusing on turrets.
I don’t even drop to 50% hp.

I recommend people to learn to play their professions first.

Despite some builds are frustrating – for me are S/P + GS Mesmers.
Lot of Stealth + Aegis and other block spams.

But so far, I have noticed that only d/d eles are raging and flaming – at least me.
And it doesn’t matter what I play – power necro, engineer or Warrior(not hambow).

Guardian can spam Protection(-33% damage), Aegis(Block), Regen(Heal) and Heal spikes.

Mesmer can hide behind or inbetween clones, can stealth, can grant itself Aegis and other Boons. Also has a skill or trait that makes them block all incoming stuff for some time(similar to Warrior’s Endure Pain utility/trait).

Both classes work well on zerk gear, because they can control incoming damage with various other methods than Dodge Roll alone.

I for example, have a hard time catching up zerk mesmer in the middle of it’s clones.
And it’s not a stigma/boon issue. Sometimes I win, sometimes not. Depends how I feel and how I play it out.

Warrior damage has been nerfed, and i can tell you that guardian has much better damage output – at least on greatsword, than warrior(PvP wise).
That’s caused by useless Hundred Blades which lack mobility, compared to Guardian’s chainsaw.

Nevertheless, each class can be wonderful on zerk spec, problem lies in ability of playing it and survival management.

And has been already mentioned many times that anet actually care about certain group of people.
Would not be surprised if that’s the reason why community in-game isn’t like in other games.

WoW has 10 million players, son, GW2 isn’t and will never be anywhere near WoW and if FF14 is doing better than GW2 in terms of players and money, then chances are GW2 doesn’t have more than 200,000/100,000 players. @Vayne, saying $15 to Mavis is a bad move. I doubt he realize that NCSoft get all the money and pays Anet a lump sum.
Despite Anet’s latest hype for staff recruitment, I still doubt that they have enough of people and enough of resources to spend to speed things up and fill Gw2 with loads of new content.
Square Enix is in charge of publishing and developing FF and they get money directly to them – they don’t share it, they’re not paid a lump sum.
Which means they’re way more flexible in this matter than Anet.

and NCSoft is a ‘ho which doesn’t care about 2nd hand customers a.k.a Gw2 ones.

OP should be happy by how Anet actually does make everything perma useful and account tradable.

Most games provide shop items which are either character bound or 1 time use only – skins for example.

War, Shake it Off + -3 conditions every 8 sec.
Ele, 6~8k heal spikes every 10seconds + condition removal.
Engi, Condi removal traited, elixirs, healing turret, regen spam.

Or is it that so called “balance” – No.1 target, cloth and nerf defense abilities because it’s too “oP”.

Necromancer is a Control class.
May it be cripple, chill, immobilize or fear.

Groups priority necromancers above all other classes only because Necromancer can disable them.
Even 1 sec of being not able to control your character(fear) or having limited mobility can be deadly in group clash. And Necromancer on top of that can spam it.

OP doesn’t realize that Engineer has better access to Regen than Warrior.

OP sounds that as if giving Necro a high super power burst on 2 sec cd will make everyone want them in groups for pve dungeons and fractals.

Leave them alone, find someone else.
I personally run dungeons with necros and engineers.

I play 80% solo, and I’ve yet to feel punished for it.

Some people are exaggerating.

Major problem in all games.
10k of skills,
only 10 are decent and are usable for build.

I recommend to focus on fixing current skill setup to enhance build variety and usability of those skills instead of adding new ones.

• In almost all games, new skills were bringing unbalance and additional QQ. If you don’t remember, then search for threads regarding new GM traits. Same situation.

I also am not the only one who after countless of runs, didn’t get anything – happens, I know.
As I know it’s a low chance, by far those weapons are actually too hard to get.

I am not a fan of complaining about difficulty of stuff, but at this moment, drop rate of those skins is on the same level as doing Yakslapper achievement in WvW.

Would be great to have a lighter way to obtain Fractal Weapon skins.
After over 500 lvl11+ FotM runs, I’ve yet to see one drop for me.

As I understand that those skins are supposed to be Unique and not easy to obtain, I find it frustrating to even get one.

Also would be nice to put a decent Collection for them.

Especially gear, or to craft Ascended.
People simply don’t understand it and bark here and there.
Difference between Exotic and Ascended as Full set is ~7%.
It doesn’t mean it’s ~7% more damage. It’s in all stats.
Starting with base Armor, and ending on selective stats.
Laurels have it’s purpose.
Honestly, what else would you like to spend Laurels on?
If I didn’t gear up all of my level 80 characters including trinkets, then I would already have all Minis which can be bought by Laurels, and really didn’t know what to do else with it, except buying T6 bags.

It’s a choice. Difference stat wise is meaningless.

Also, regarding grinding etc. What else do you have to spend gold on and mats except on fancy skins?
Anything else is barely given for free.
Time gating crafts have their purpose.
yet, you’re not locked out to purchase necessary already timegate-crafted items from broker.

I can say it like this, because I can compare majority of Gw2 mechanics, especially gear, grind and crafting with other games.
And I can assure anyone, that there is no other game which has as simple and as easy way to play, have fun and not feeling like having part-time job.
