Those 3 bosses can drop me heavily no matter what graphic settings I use.

Maybe I am a little elitist. But the truth is that some build choices just aren’t that good as others. Poor build choices go hand-in-hand with poor gameplay decisions. Minion master necros are supposed to guard points. I rarely see one do that; they fight in the open.
Now that’s quite funny.
In your opinion Minion master build is a poor build because it’s mostly picked by inexperienced players who can’t use it properly.

- I frankly can say, I was a bit sucked into his proposition for website. I already wanted to stay on the website and learn more about the product which eventually would lead me to purchase it.

- Rich and spacious way of showing the importance of Living Story and My Story.
- I feel that OP’s redesign of Story Journal shows the importance of that tab by showing extremely suited images in Gw2 style which add additional thrill to it.
Contacts and LFG
- Fancy way of showing the importance and features of the game.
- It’s a very refreshing redesign which stands back from pure and dull text.
Guild Panel
- Great way and refreshing for Guild Panel which at this moment is dull, boring and plain.
- I like the idea very much. My opinion is, that I would rather skip showing AP in boxes for every user, but rather let it view the ID of player – I think people remember each other after IDs instead of every single char name. Also, not sure if it’s shown, but hovering mouse should view a window with details about that Guild mate.
Hero Panel
- Rich where everything is right on hand.
- As someone have mentioned, it’s rich, but tightly packed. What I miss in current Hero Panel is having stuff I want under my hand instead of clicking between tabs all the time. OP’s concept fulfills my desire for having all stuff I want, right in my hand.

- Great Redesign concept. I’m looking forward to OP’s changes and few adjustment to other people ideas.

I do couple of matches every night in Ranked and I can tell you that teams are quite balanced.
And there is barely any communication with teammates.
It’s far better than it was before with SoloQ.

Matchmaking isn’t that bad actually.
If I’ll solo or duo queue, final score is around 470:500.
Obviously it happens, when we get 500:120, but it’s rare occurrence since last update of the matchmaking.
Justin, it’s possible to make size team matchmaking and add a rule to fit the rating.
For example, could make like this:
- each team is made with rating in certain range(+/- 100)
- teams would be grouped with similar rating value (+/- 100)
That system could avoid going full premades who are veteran players with High rating vs premades that are rather casual and their rating is somewhere in the middle.
The only downside I can think of, is increased waiting time for system to match teams properly.
Daily System
- To receive Daily rewards like Laurels and Mystic Coins, you have to log-in to game and allocate reward every day.
- Daily Missions are optional which upon successful completion of each task, you’re rewarded.
- After completing 3 Daily Missions, you’re additionally rewarded with 10 Achievement Points.
Daily PvP
- Players who are not interested or have hard time upon successful contribution and completion of Daily PvP Tasks, can done them in any Custom Arena.
Daily PvE
- Certain activity such as Event completion or gathering of certain node type. Slaying World Bosses.
Daily WvW
- Each task can be completed in WvW or in EotM(except camps and veteran mobs).
Summary
Daily Activities are much more rewarding than before and are very easy to complete.
Someone who cares only about laurels, has only to log-in and claim reward.
You’re complaining about people and their etiquette.
You have Rank Farm Custom Arenas with setup rules – if someone does break them, report them to owner. Simple as that, can do every single Daily PvP Task in those Custom Rank Farm Arenas.
Which means, your point is invalid.
Ranked Arenas aren’t for “- I need capture point or kill for daily pls” mentality.
There are other PvP Arena modes which allow everyone to participate and complete every single task from Daily PvP.
Complaining about WvW dailies……
Either stick to Commander in EB or Borderlands or go EotM and join karma farm.
EotM provide Keeps, Towers, Lands and blob clashes for kill task.
I can do it with my lvl 13 Necro, so anyone else can do it too.
And finally calling PvE tasks broken.
What the heck is broken there? Events? Gathering? Vista viewing?
Or maybe zerg World Boss kill which drop a chest in max 5 min after spawn(except Tequatl and Claw).

I dislike watching FPS esport vids, because often I dunno what killed whom and from where. Killing someone through wall or w/e. I can grasp the feeling when actually playing, but I can’t understand the whole thing about it when just watching.
MOBA – yeah, because it’s not a problem for newbie to grasp the idea on first looks what char does what and what minion does what and when….
Same with RTS games.
Every single eSport game has the same problem – people when watching tournament videos, know what’s going on(experienced players) or dunno kitten is going on but like it because it’s flashy(newbies/gonna download soon© ).
GW2 problem is lack of serious advertisement just like F2P games have.
All adds I see, is LoL, Dota, Starcraft(not anymore tho), sometimes CS.
For past 1 year, I didn’t see a single Guild Wars 2 add, even on yt.
That’s the first and biggest problem Gw2 is facing.
Without serious advertisements, Gw2 has no chance for bigger in-game population and no chance for higher popularity and interest from eSport point of view.
And F2P model or B2P model has nothing to do with it.

Yes, because proper timing while landing allow you to use skill and skip animation of that skill meanwhile allowing you to cast another skill right away.

Tried the same thing in couple other games that allowed it a bit and in gw2 it is possible but it’s quite hard to do.
It’s not a feature, it’s quite a bug/exploit.
problem with LB rangers are their “use everything + entangle”.
For me it’s quite a stupid combo, because even with 2 condi removal u won’t remove immobilize and before you’l destroy roots, your hp is at bottom.

The problem is that if they relied on less RNG, people would get the loot much quicker resulting in less people doing the event/bosses. They can’t do what other games do as the loot systems are entirely different. In GW2, loot for each player is separate rather than pooled together as a group. A lot of the loot also doesn’t require as much prep work to get as other games.

But it’s also not a solution to make people do events every single day for a decade or two to accomplish goal they made.
In my case, I want skins from Teq. And even so, I would still do it, because it’s fair easy with nice mechanics boss.
I pretty much should even stop doing that event.
Since Collections release, I didn’t get even a single exotic except that exotic spoon. And I’m doing it everyday – sometimes twice or 3 times, on other chars too.

Even if gearing them up again is the case, I can’t see a reason why anyone like you would have to gear 23 characters immediately. I mean, come on, you have to realize yourself how ridiculous this argument is. It’s not like you’ll have to play all of them at once or something.

Many players may perma quit game because they have to upgrade/invest in new gear.
Gw2 is one of few games available on market that allows you to have multiple max geared characters and play them however you want.
Typical korean game where “content” is called
- +5 levels
- new map
- new mobs
- new gear to grind for and enchant etc
- new ways of rng
Makes you grind new gear on main character for half of that content.
Even if Anet would introduce similar system to Korean one, and introduce such thing, then I probably would drop couple of modes available in game, like dungeons, wvw etc.
And meanwhile, start looking/awaiting new MMO.
In Vayne’s case.
He spent a great amount of time and cash on his all characters, and now due to dev’s whim, everything goes to kittenhole. In that case, if it was me, I probably would uninstall game and mail support to permanently deactivate my account.

1st art concept about Sylvari was more human like.

From video, it seems that Firstborn are unaffected by Mordremoth’s Mind Control.
If you review whole Sylvari story, you can grasp the idea that Ventrai found a Seed of Mordremoth.
Maybe he did imbue it with magic or purified it so there are those Sylvari which aren’t under Mordremoth’s control – keep in mind that Glint which was a Champion, not some minion, broke Kralkatorrik’s shackles and freed herself from his control.
It appears, that this whole thing will go back to Scarlet once again.
And they have mentioned, Mordremoth is not fully awake yet.

Factions bring heavy imbalance in numbers.
Example:
- Aion
- The Secret World
There are 2 teams.
1st Team is SilverWF Team.
- they have Retaliation
- they have Protection
- they have Guardian
2nd Team is Enemy Team - they have Retaliation
- they have Protection
- they have Guardian
- they have Engineer
Outcome:
Enemy Team wins with their Engineer being alive.
Why?
Also, how do you kill the “main source of Retaliation spam” if you can’t attack due of retaliation being on? Quite a bit of circular logic there.
If you’re using such kits, you’re likely to have heavily traited them – grenades are unusable otherwise, and even the flamethrower wouldn’t make much sense as something to rely on if untraited.
It means that outside those, you’re quite weak (and main weapons are supposed to be weak by design due to kits anyway, so that doesn’t help).
So, as i said above, that single boon is enough to disable those kits and build based upon them. And people here think that such a thing is fine…
So, are we either talking about zerg of Engineers vs zerg of all classes?
How hard it would be for others, such as warriors, rangers, mesmers etc to focus single target?
Can’t Necromancer strip Guardian from boons? Especially those most annoying a.k.a. Stability and Protection Boons?
But hey, what’s the point of making a tactic in zerg vs zerg, when spamming skills in random areas should be as much effective.
It’s surprising you know. That here we have just a few people who play Engineer and complain about Retaliation, and somehow the rest is just fine, because somehow they contribute, survive and have fun.
Unless, OP’s team doesn’t use Retaliation or enemy team doesn’t have Engineers
