You can claim bugs all you want but I don’t believe it for a second. I’ve seen guardians with access to multiple heal skills (at least litany of wrath and shelter), I’ve seen people cross the entire map in a split second, and people who have permanent stability without the boon… It’s not bugs. The by far easiest and most likely answer is that people hack the game.

i can’t believe that this is true. the server doenst manage the player-position? please tell me from where u get this information. playerposition, damage, cooldowns, complete movement must run on server-side. the client just sends to the server that he press “2”, the server now calculate everything and sends back to client.
If everything would be server side, then the only way to cheat, would be to send dumb packets and fool server.

No, it doesn’t. There is a thread where Justin said that this system only group people by rating, and that’s why I gave an example with rating problem.
Both sides have equal chance to get newbie players, as well. So your opponents are in the same boat. Since you have 50% win rate, quite likely that you’ve been on the other side of the equation before too. But I don’t see you mentioning those “unfair victories”, huh princess?
Win rate alone isn’t a problem.
I don’t mind when my kitten get whooped by players who outplay me or simply are better. I rarely consider anything from skill sets to be really unfair/overpowered, due to my habit to test those stuff myself and always try to figure out the advantages and weaknesses of those skills/attributes.
In a low-population game like this, it’s foolish to expect that you’ll always have a bunch of equal players available at exactly the moment you’re queuing for a match. The only way to guarantee that is to form a party.

What I refer to be frustrating, is when I’m put in match full of newbies.
I’m dragged to their level, meanwhile I want challenge.
I alone cannot contribute much for my team, because they behave like bots, scatter around mindlessly, fail to kill Mob with 3 people without dying to it, and when they decide to go with 3 people to enemy Home, they even fail to neutralize while wiping and wasting time.
Addition to it, is that they mostly refuse to accept the fact that they’re newbies and don’t listen to simple advices – language isn’t a problem, since flaming with Caps Lock is something they have mastered quite a time ago.
It’s only a russian roulette in such matches, either, your team listens or enemy does to someone who’s actually experienced and knowledgeable about current map.
This is an issue with Rating Matchmaking.
I don’t believe that newbies shouldn’t be allowed to enter ranked or go to custom, as some people demand, but there should be a line drawn, which separates experienced players from newbies.
And yes, to make such matches, which happen quite often, to be less frustrating and irritating, I’m simply lying to myself that even due to such pathetic matches and loses, I get some rewards from Tracks.
Because if not those Tracks, then I would simply stop going to PvP Arenas, to get kittened off by unfortunately, not really good matchmaking system.
I had a team made up in ranked who had Rank 10~30, meanwhile I’m 50.
Got owned like 500:150.
I pretty think that majority of matchmaking threads are about putting high ranked and experienced players with beginners, because of some silly rating – newbie gonna win 3 matches in a row and his rating is already high.
Thanks to such system, I’m around 50% win chance and it’s pretty much frustrating getting such people in team, because it puts a newbie equally with me who has behind hundreds of matches.
If Dungeon Reward Track didn’t exist, I pretty much wouldn’t even appear in HotM.

I’ve never really understood why it destroys the minions in the first place. I think the reason it doesn’t touch turrets is because the game handles them in a different way.
Because turrets are stationary, mechanical and semi-independent things that have 5min duration.
You can summon them at your spawn point and run to another corner of map w/o them disappearing.
Ranger pet and minions are creatures that have a “bond” with caster.
Despite minions work in similar way like turrets, they still need to be in certain caster’s range.

It’s logical that removing gates from content makes that content more accessible.
The easier it is to switch builds the easier it is to play different builds, This PROMOTES build diversity.
There are 3 classes that have very high in combat mobility.
It’s Thief, Mesmer and Warrior.
What’s more, those 3 classes are pretty much very strong Condition wise due to ability to apply multiple stacks of Torment along with other conditions.
I’m predicting a scenario where those classes abuse mobility to get out of combat and swap to condition spec or melee spec the moment their current spec doesn’t work vs their opponent or they have hard time to deal with.
I encourage fair fights and vast builds for each pvp mode.
But without proper adjustment for WvW, it’ll become discouraging for roamers and will create much bigger gap in balance between classes in WvW than it already is.
I’ve experienced similar option – macro set change – in other games, which became cheese gear swap which nullified the skill ability of opponents. It made that personal skill, knowledge and experience mattered almost nothing, where what mattered the most, was a proper counter set.
And I’m trying to avoid that.
My proposition is to use template swap, 10 seconds after combat ended + 5 sec stationary cast time for WvW.
This way, in my opinion greatly lowers opportunity for all classes to create countergear method in 1v1 fights, like I’ve mentioned and yet allows people to switch whole builds as they wanted.

Well, it’s in Anet’s hands. If they want WvW to be a blob-only zone, then they could also remove World progression from there, just like there is none in Eotm.

After 200 matches as Turret Engineer I can say, that majority of people in Ranked arena and obviously on forums who complain about this build, are autofollow bots.
And WoW is solely an ‘esport’ because they have a huge population.
Some people don’t understand that if a game has 10+ mil subscribers and you’ll throw a pvp towel with no matter what mode and call it eSports, it’s going to be legit anyway.

It’s not a rocket science that if you spot someone cheating or exploiting game mechanics, you’re supposed to notify Support by sending them a ticket with as much details as possible, so they can punish that person and maybe forward issue to be fixed.
What I don’t understand is you in every single post of yours, mentioning that you were kicked out from arena.
The only one who can kick you out is owner and he doesn’t have to explain to anyone why he did that – he paid for it, he does what he want.
So I suggested to you, that if you have a problem of being kicked out, then simply create your own arena and move on.

The problem with turret engies(and to a lesser extent some warrior builds and MMs) is that the skill to reward ratio is way too high. Extremely low skill builds shouldn’t ever be good when compared to a normal skill build. I’d be fine with turret engies if there was way more micro involved. For instance, what if turrets didn’t auto heal, but instead healed when their abilities where activated. Also, the base damage needs to be lowered a lot and the active abilities effectiveness increased, but with obvious animations on the turrets.
Turret Engineer is a low skill vs bots.
You had nothing better to add? I don’t get people who spam this message and assume that explains everything. I play a turret engie. And it’s not fun nor balanced.

It’s about anything that stand alone allow the one who solves the ticket, to grasp the idea of situation. In that Report system, the vital point is chat log.
If chat log has nothing, then ticket will be closed and case won’t be solved.
So, I advise to use website Support Ticket system while providing screenshots/video instead of ingame report with nothing vital in chat.
Treb is so powerful in Khylo because of the node system. Basically, go to treb, hit one point (usually mid), profit.

you have to fight your way to the bomb site, plant the bomb, and then fend off the other team from disarming it. same with hostages, you have to fight to get to them and then fight to get them out.if they made it so there was no points to cap and you had to defend/kill the lord and that was the only objective it would vastly improve the game.

So far as I know, those eSport MOBA games have their chars which are walking Gw2NecroLichForm.

When you can post vids of your spirit weap guardian, trap thief, glyph ele, siphon necro, glamour mesmer team owning it up in high-level PVP, i’ll agree with you.
At the end of the day it’s been >2 years and there’s still tons of traits and skills that are universally recognised as kitten. Anet has 300 employees, it’s not like they’re short of resources to tweak these skills/traits, they just don’t give a kitten.
Well, I know some skills aren’t viable(Death Blossom) and some are even broken (scorpion’s wire).
But even if you’ll pick up the rest of the builds and remake them, still gives you a good amount of builds.
It looks like every class has a full set of skills that aren’t working properly or are not viable.
Like you’ve mentioned, Mesmer glamour skills, Thief’s Traps etc.
I’m not going to defend Anet, since I know that despite having such team, and given multiple reports over such trivial things as Scorpion’s wire etc, they haven’t fixed it.

1-2 of them are against some premade teams, in at least 3/5.
If this is what makes people rage quit, then I can honestly say, that they’re wrong.
They quit because they’re terrible and don’t want to improve meanwhile blaming system that kick once in a while.

- Karka Queen
- Great Jungle Wurm
Are poorly optimized and will drop fps no matter what hardware setup you have.

It doesn’t matter where you connect from, it matters what route you’re actually taking. If you’re in the heart of the issue, you’re going to have the problem regardless of what you do. You will want to verify the routes using tracerts through the VPN, and you should post them in that EU thread.

That’s why I was checking different locations in each country to avoid same nodes on the route.
