so you saying. they may not have enough fund to start the expansion project?
So if they need permission for expansion
why Aion updated so quick. new class, new map etc. did NC rater spend money on a old mmorpg then a newer one? or they spend all the money on wildstar?i though they all independent.
because Aion is still one of the most popular games in Korea and is a game which brings the most cash for NCSoft, so they’re developing it constantly.
And to your information, NCSoft already rekt Aion on West side exactly with new classes and maps.
Why?
Imbalanced class mechanics, imbalanced stats, maps where you can pvp is as spacious as your basement.
Honestly, they could actually invest a bit more in Gw2 development and release it in korea as well.
experiment, make it in game, play with it, modify it until you’ll get a perfect build which suits your gameplay and taste.
Simple.
It is a lame skill (overpowered if it actually hits) . It is embarrassing to use it. So I don’t. Doesn’t fit the mesmer concept or ethos. Something else in its place would be nice.
that skill is actually double edged sword.
If someone know how to move in moa form, can give mesmer hard time.
Or even put caster into downed state.
I like skyhammer. In hot joins.
I completely hate it in SoloQ. The point is that people feel frustrated by Skyhammer because you very personal “skill” doesn’t matter anymore (or it counts less than what it should).
And question now pops up.
What do we refer to term called “Skill”?
Rotation? Boon spam? Being faster than someone else with swiftness? Holding the point on full bunker mode?
In my case – no.
In my dictionary if it comes to all games, a real skill is being shown when people are capable of adapting to any environment and use it as it’s advantage – and it’s not about Skyhammer itself or Trebutchet.
In Skyhammer specifically you have to watch around yourself to not be pushed or pulled to not fall and die. No other map provides such thing.
And I myself want more such maps, since thanks to them, you can prove that you truly are good with the class you’re playing.
OP should L2P clearly.
There are no overpowered classes or w/e else.
You make a build which work against 20 builds across all classes but it’s greatly vulnerable against one build on specific class.
Or rather it’s really difficult to fight such player.
Frankly I prefer to have a build which can easily counter 20 other builds and lose to one build which appears maybe once a week.
Dagger 2 Life Siphon
- does so-so damage at certain range
- gives a little bit HP
- channeling skill
- +400 armor if you’re channeling(trait)
Overall, that skill should be AoE + recover more HP, since Necro doesn’t really have much of a chance to grant itself Heal boon.
That should be fixed, because dagger is actually a close combat weapon which is risky, so should be more rewarding anyway.
24 skilss to doge almost 4 perma bons up runing from side to side using skills healing with each one and runing at 30% poping skills healing along the way and returning with all bons up and all health up and even surviving 3 vs 1 i belive the ele its rly the tank in this game with almost 100% survivability is this wath the devs want ? i pray one day they will be on the chopping block for some (all) balance
best solution eu
if I would get only $1 for every single irrevelant whining post from Warriors on teh forums, then Bill Gates would be my servant.
Also Necro is OP as kitten, no idea why they buffed it in patch. Typical ANet.
-Teef Teef Teef Teef
I disagree.
ele is op?
I pwn every ele in spvp with my d/d necro.
10/10 rekt
those vids should be posted at every thread that complains about a class being weak or too OP.
Like War complains about necro being 2 stronk etc.
:DDDDD
best yolo movies EU.
I +1 OP :’D
OP went full kitteh mode
OP needs to l2p.
If Anet don’t start releasing new content soon, there’s going to many people abandoning this sinking ship. It’s shame, GW1 had such a long run and people still play it, whereas GW2 is already dying after 2 years.
Guild Wars 1
Guild Wars: Prophecies – April 26, 2005 (6 classes, Tyria, 4 Elite Missions)
Guild Wars: Factions – April 28, 2006 (added 2 new classes, Cantha, skills, 2 Elite Missions)
Guild Wars: Nightfall – October 26, 2006 (added 2 new classes, Elona, skills, heroes, 1 Elite Mission)
Guild Wars: Eye of the North – August 28, 2007 (introduced Norns and Asurans, added new areas to Tyria, skills, new heroes, 18 dungeons)
A lot for its first 2 year and 4 months.
Guild Wars 2
…
where Anet did state that they’ll release new content just like they did in Gw1?
I always wanted a carpet in game.
Anet make dreams come true.
you can salvage those items in Mystic Forge.
It’s the best Salvage utility in game.
And it’s free.
:3
Play it and see for yourself.
Or begone somewhere else
Bone Minion too OP.
Nerf!
They actually should make proper match up scalling like:
- people that have Glory level between 1~5 are in the same queue
- people that have Glory level of 30+ are in the same queue
Problem is when someone creates a class he’s playing for the first time.
Should be put in 10+ queue range, but that system may be abused with creating/deleting chars of the same class to keep it in same queue range.
Would need a script which realize that if I have a Necromancer with Glory level of 30+ then a baby necro I’ll make, will end in glory level 30+ etc etc.
I find it disgusting that we can not call out hackers on public forums. It is stupid and detrimental. Please pass that along to your manager, Forum Moderator who locks this thread.
by experience I find 80~90% of those, “he hax” to be false alarms caused by upset losers who only go ahead and would name and shame someone.
I have already seen lemmings fanboying a cheater in other game and not seeing that he’s cheating at all, but accusing and raging at other who actually didn’t cheat, but they believed he did.
Forum Mods simply lock such threads and do not allow people to post screenshots with those stuff as “proof” because it’s considered naming and shaming, and people in majority are lemmings.
They tend to repeat mindlessly one after another with having 0 knowledge regarding that matter.
I want necro to stay as it is, or get power up, no other changes.
Black Lion Salvage Kit is the way to go.
Could purchase it cheaply few days ago.
Those also tend to appear from time to time as a reward for completing Daily.
Reduce duration of Moa by half.
Reduce cooldown of Moa by half.
best fix eu.
last time i quit gw2 for few months was when i got 5 skyhammer in a row in soloq… it killed any wish for me to play this game… so go figure
lucky you. Best arena that can you can get in.
I just facepalm when I read those complains about I dunno what kit or attunement someone has.
Like it even matter at all.
Heya,
Question is:
- Does Anet work on additional/new maps for sPvP which are like Skyhammer?
I find Skyhammer map to be epic and great since it gives more freedom to how fight opponents and how to kill them, even with using enviroment.
So yes, my main point is – let’s add more Skyhammer maps to sPvP and tPvP.
Though personally I wish they’d just axe sPvP as it’s “wasting dev time”, that’s my personal take and there’ll be enough who care as little about PvE or WvW as I do about sPvP.
there are enough people who care about Arena pvp and your wish won’t come true.
that Asura Elementalist is 100% legit.
are you trying to drop the responsibility of low attendance of the servers you’re paired with on Anet?
Desolation is Red this week and we’re outnumbered constantly yet we manage somehow and get stuff done.
Even yesterday we rekt an Overgrowth blob at Pilot balloon while being outnumbered like two times, and no AC got used.
But well, if people are going to play maddie mode and port and zerg opponent 10~15man zerg to just get few loot bags and camp fort like no tomorrow, then it’s no wonder people leave eotm.
that’s the best map available in pvp.
I hope more like this one will come in the future.
Skyhammer
The best available map for trolling and environment rekting.
I hope devs will make more maps where you can use environment to troll opponents.
I agree. I mean when I was having trouble dealing with condi builds someone suggested bringing condi removal, and I was just like, ”Nah man I can just cry on the forums instead”
Condi removal will never outpace application in a small scale fight. Blow your removal and they just load you up with more. No class/build has enough removal to keep up and be effective against heavy application. Once the fight goes 2v2 or higher it can get absurd. I routinely sit in guild skirmish fights not able to do anything while 25 stacks of condi wear off. Then some necro shows up with epidemic and makes it even more fun.
your point now?
hello guys 3500 games on necro I was quite decent back in time.
It was my favourite profession in gw2. But nowadays i write to every necro after the match he should reroll another class because he is playing totaly useless class in the game.
Every single class is simply better than necro. Dont tell me condi necro is better than condi engie its not true.
Dont tell me power necro is better than mesmer its bullkitten.
And its simple you have your DS woooohah but what if 3 pple focus you? you enter DS and boom you are dead. Dead class cant help its team ;-) Trust me i rolled mesmer and engie and I never come back to necro unless they fix the class because right now its joke.
and you believe that mesmer or engineer can survive 3 people?
There is nothing to fix, except boosting this class.
If you complain about class because you got rekt by 3 people, then sorry, you’re not good enough or either they were better than you.
playing necro taught me how to not be stun break and stability dependent. Tho sometimes no stability is annoying.
I would trade stability for additional protection boon.
it’s not game breaking.
as necromancer I dun care :v
I can start with 0% life force.
Building up 50% of it in next 15sec after leaving starting point.
Gotta be insecure to use that exploit or w/e xD
Toxic Hybrid during it’s idle animation can be as tall as human female.
Guild Wars 2 has no sub fee. It’s a game designed for casuals. There is some level of skill required to be a competent player but compared to other games of the same quality GW2 requires a very minimal amount of skill.
I recommend to go and play some other games, where majority of them create a huge gap between good gear and top gear, while involve huge rng in combat, like, who cc first, who crit more times, who proc this and that.
So far I assure you that combat in gw2 is more likely the most balanced from majority of mmo games and provide a good amount of skill and knowledge to outplay others.
Of course there will be weak players like no tomorrow, like in every game, but main factor is the ability to utilize your skills and outplay someone instead of feeding on mere RNG luck.
I dunno my opponent’s secondary weapon unless he start using it. hence I dunno his offhand unless he’ll start using skills from it.
I want full info in split second before I’ll get into combat with other players.
Also I want full info of their utilities, elite, traits and benefits, so I know what to do next.
majority of ranged skills have 20% chance to create physical projectile.
I dont’ see it as game breaking. Stop your QQ.
Imo, dodge only provides a small window of counterplay, however, I have yet to see how effective it can be when mastered.
Thanks for the comments, have a good day!
small window for inexperienced, lazy players or just bots.
Even with 0 access to Vigor, it can be a huge window for counter-play, or pure survival.
Thanks to dodge, you can simply avoid any kind of lethal attack that may decide of “kill or be killed”.
Timing is crucial and the more experience and knowledge one has, the more benefiting such a simple yet awesome ability as dodge roll becomes.
I saw s/d rangers and s/d thieves who were using evade skills along with dodge roll effectively, and despite their squishy builds, they tend to survive for a long time since they evade majority of attacks.
Obviously, there is no room for mistakes, but those people simply put their time into learning how to operate with such setups and what to pay attention to.
Some builds are called pusy types, some builds are effective against the other, but this game provides a set of skills and ability for players to create what would suit their taste and playstyle, to put everyone on the same ground.
of course that there are those people who qq constantly because, this and that is soo op and all, but I’m sure that none of them took their time to learn how to counter something like that and how to outplay it with their current setups.
yeah. AA is so amazing that even Korean didn’t want to play it :v
if you didn’t mention mesmer portal, then I would rofl totally at what those people did.
Protip:
There are people who hate losing, by all means.
inb4
Static Discharge engineer 2 OP, NERF!
I see no problem with rangers.
gw2 is semi-aim semi-target system based game.
If you expect rangers to have to aim, then it would have to be pointed to each class. Therefore the best system would be to implement aim system like in TERA.
And I’m telling you that system won’t work in gw2, since it would require reworking all skills, traits etc, to make it work.
Also, there is a dodge roll for a reason.
WvW isn’t pvp.
/25 chars
I’m playing a warrior, pvping a lot.
I have no problem building full 3 bars of adrenaline from 0.
If OP does have problem building adrenaline, then maybe Warrior is too hard to play for OP.
OP needs to learn to play Necromancer.
