They are attacking every player, everyone attack someone else then none dies from enemy team, just my teammates or they dont care about me in teamfight they just let me get ganked by 2-3-4 don’t even try to help or use cc or something.

Thats what happens when everyone and their mothers can get to ruby. All they need is time. The matches are not enjoyable, thats why i only do 3 matches a day. When you go from having matches before leagues, where people knew basics, to leagues where you get people who play how the pvp community did 2012 its not fun anymore. PvP is just aggrivating and ive come to the point where i feel gw2 pvp is not for me anymore due to mentioned reasons.
As a guildie of mine said and I agree;
- they should have a pre-season to determine your "real’ league
- they should remove the tier protection from Amber-Sapphire because as it is now, Ruby is just a bottleneck for better players being stuck with ppl who just farmed their way into Ruby, since Sapphire you cant lose tiers

Yup I started afk once its 200-50 and all points are capped. I did tell Anet clearly in a post I would if they let this matchmaking go forth.
FYI, Ive been stuck in ruby hell for 14 days now. Going from t2 to t5 back and forth.
And I’m playing alot of games.
Doesnt matter if SoloQ or DuoQ, something seems to be wrong with my matchmaking.
The issue?
- Ppl forced playing specs for achievement (this is true, Ive had matches where ppl said in teamchat they have no idea how to play their spec but need to do it for achievements. This is punishing ppl who worked very hard for their pips, like me)
- People don’t know what that red target means above an enemy head.
I would start to think that new players actually mean they shouldnt be attacking this target and ignore it (yes, I get alot of those in my team aswel)
- Ppl who don’t see the point in making the target as its “deathmatch” anyway (yes, I had 2 ppl literally say that in teamchat)
- can go on and on…
Those are teammates I get so I’m absolutely sure something is bugged somewhere.
70% of my matches are blowout so saying they’re close to my level is simply put wrong.
Weird thing for me to say but although the previous season matchmaking also gave blowouts, it was much less than it is now.
Not to forget alot of ppl, including myself, are just afk’ing at some point because there’s no point to continue. This is not our fault.
We are not the ones putting together the teams, Anet is.
FYI: Anet considers a point difference of 250 or more a blowout so yes, 70% of my matches are “blowouts”.

I’ve been Ruby for 13 days now and I keep having loss after loss after loss.
Versus ppl totally not on my level.
Why? Because Anets lets it happen.
You’re making ppl insane and frustrated with your very bad policy about changing season stuff only after season.
You should try to save your game more often instead of making new mobs for Xpac2.
You’re the ones making alot of players toxic and destroying the pvp community.

Impossible to beat in SoloQ. Once they get 2 points, its over.
Despite the fact 3/5 of them are using DPS amulets, they can bunk better than any clerics can while giving support.
I find it rly wrong you wait till seasons are over to jump in and do your think (buff/nerf).
It’s simply wrong letting us die.
Compared to last season, queue time is really shorter now.
Probably the best improvement they made in this season.

Queue times were greatly reduced across the board, but ranked arena can always have longer queues if you climb the ladder faster than other people.
3-5 minutes of queue, been stuck in ruby for 12 days now for teammates/opponents totally not on my level.

So u think this mobility, survivability and dmg is balanced? No other class can be that strong in all 3 aspects, so reduce at least one of them.

At least, lose your matches better to have your only way out of that low mmr… or play with people who want to play with you to stop complaining about MM.

80-90% of the players (my own estimation) sollely care about the pips.
loss = 1 pip loss
win = 1 or 2 pips gain
That’s it. There’s no more “lets do our best to get 350 so we can still get 1 pip or worst case scenario not lose a pip at all for achieveing good score”.
That was unfortunately a wrong decision.
Why are they green all of a sudden? It’s a bit confusing since green tags did only happen in special situations.

Cap close, see if enemy team rushes far to help or if they try to get close, if they do… either hold close or go cap mid – depending on situation
Thing is… Im talking about the first few minutes of the match, as I stated above. Its not gonna be 50-400 after 4 minutes.
So yeah, throwing a match after first push makes you a pretty bad player.
How can I cap mid if they have 4 players to divide between close-mid and they got 1 zerged by 4 of my teammates at far?

I have to admit I afk matches since a few days ago which are utterly lost. No point in pretending I can still win while Anet is allowing this piece of shet matchmaking.
1) Pre-Seasons to avoid Stompfest in first weeks of Season
2) Minimum 4 different classes per team in Ranked
3) More periodic nerfs/buffs to utterly broken/obvious stuff that needs to be fixed (this will eventually show the real pro players instead of ppl getting carried by broken mechanics, eg Rev/Scrapper) along with more PvP-oriented updates.
4) Add Tutorial explaining what Conquest is
5) Have a bootcamp for beginners untill they reach 250 ranked games (separate league where they only face players in the same league)
I like this season just fine thanks although to make it better I would have people start out based on there league placement from the year before. Also, maybe tighten the mmr spread a little for your teammates. If you think last season was better then this one I totally disagree and so do most of my friends in game are we not elite players just guys that mostly duo or triple queue with some solo mixed in.
Weird but prev season was alot better for me, comparing the average skill-level of both teammates and opponents. (eventhough it was still bad and this form of matchmaking is better, just poorly executed/not thought through)
Now it’s just every single “just-out-of-Sapphire” ppl I get.
Sapphire is just easy-farm since you’re not losing tiers.
This is creating a bottleneck in Ruby where good players are stuck with ppl who are new/not that good and because of that stuck in Tier 1 -Tier 2. Atleast 25% of my PvP guild is stuck right there: Ruby T1 – T2.
I think something needs to be done about that aswel.
I like having a pre-season where your starters-league is decided or something.

Before I’m going to AFK every single match due Anet’s lack of care about matchmaking, something needs to be done.
I’ve been in Ruby for 10 days now, playing every single day.
I’m stuck kitten, once I got to T3 but immediatly lost all pips back to T1.
Why do u think putting ppl with much more hours/games/experience in pvp together with ppl have no clue what they’re doing?
With all due respect to new players, but you don’t belong with better/experienced players; you either get stomped by better players or you get carried hard.
I’m not a pro but atleast I kittening know its Conquest and not team zergmatch.
Today lost both matches I played we should’ve easily won, as the opponents were far below my level. Yet my team manages to lose 61 – 500 and another match we won every single teamfight and still lost because no1 cared about capping.
This is disgusting and something should be done about it. Dont wait till 19th of April.
If this doesnt get fixed soon, i’ll just have to AFK every match like many other ppl do.

Went Amber – Sapphire in just a few hours pvp’ing with nothing else than win-streaks.
Ruby SoloQ is impossible. Prev season was much better somehow.

Hmmm… That’s not about MMR but matchmaking itself.
I have to say that letting the skill going through some walls/edges is quite overboard and OP. Mostly happens at Legacy where the downed gets “pulled” through the ledges on both sidepoints.
I’m ok with the teleport.
I’m not ok when it’s going through stuff.
Just tried queue’ing with 5 seems to be bugged for me:
Whole team just got queue-pop and got kicked from the match without even getting in.
We can’t enter/leave queue because it says “Match in Progress”.
While we’re not in the match but stuck in HoTM.
After 2mins we could queue but now the game crashed of every 5 players in my team.
After we all logged in, we’re still in “Match in Progress” and cant do anything.
And my character still stutters when moving.. 2 bugs in one :p

I do not get the whole rev thing. i play thief, maybe 1 in 20 revs beats me in 1v1 and im not exactly the best player on that field.
Its a safe win if im running condi, still an easy win on power. Either each and every good rev is fighting in the pro leagues, or we are simply hardcountering them.
And btw: we are still faster, no matter what you say, you cant outrun a thief.Bc thief has all neccesary tools to beat rev.
50% slow uptime which crits for 4k each? Check <Op as kitten btw.
Pressuring rev in Shiro bc his healing ability is crap? Check
Enough evades to avoid the most important attacks? Check
Glint heal useless vs anyone with brain in 1v1? Check
Can kite rev between attacks? Check
Bc Rev has all the necessary tools to beat thief.
Tons of blocks? Check
Launch and forget heal? Check (you can just presume a thief’s attack and activate it)
Enough teleport to perma chase Thief around till downed in teamfight? Check (Revs makes the thief utiltize all their ini just to stay alive)
Can kite 2v1 on point (contest)? Check
Revealed? Check
Close to equal DPS? Check
Boons? Check
A rev has an easier time killing a thief, be it 1v1 or teamfight. If a thief can beat you, that’s because you made alot of mistakes.
Thieves cannot make errors. If they do, just 1, they’re dead.

You havent faced a decent Rev yet. Also, Revs can do ANYTHING better than Thief in teamfights.

Basically for me thats being one-hit as it only took one burst.Almost everything erases that amount of hp from a thiefs hp pool if the thief doesnt dodge, bandit defence, interrupt or some other method to avoid dmg though :P.

No it doesnt. There are very few of such skills able to do such damage in short time.
Having a pet doing the same amount of damage like those few skills is broken and bad.
And its not like a Thief has endless dodges/blocks.
