When fighting a boss , your damage won’t matter much as the will heal you ( 114*2 per sec ) which will keep you alive.

Ghastly claws is 3 seconds. Or tooltip error? Anyway its still less dps. You cant spam axe 2 forever whereas you can spam dagger auto forever.

Dagger chain is the strongest attack we have. I don’t have to worry about healing and dodging thanks to my minions.

Which is why I really doubt taking the axe for vuln. The damage lost is so significant I’m not sure the party buff from vuln can cover the lost here. And also have to consider most casual party get ~15 stacks of vuln already just by going through their regular rotations.

Dagger 1 and 3 have quite the aftercasts, so no you finish a dagger 1 chain in around 1.4 seconds while a Axe 1 attack goes off in around 1 second.
But overall melee damage > safe position of range.
How do you know that ? Is there any source that tells us the cast time of 2nd and 3rd dagger chain attacks ?

Hi guys , according to wiki , dagger chain attack deals 940 damage while axe deals 236 ( 278 at 18 stacks of Vulnerability > max stacks from the skill )
Axe cast time is 0.75 sec , but I’m not sure about the dagger’s ones
Is it 3(0.25) = 0.75 ? if so , the dagger is stronger than axe by 3 times !
Dagger chain attack (940 in 0.75 sec ) deals more damage than Ghastly Claws (968 ( 1142 from 1st skill Vulnerability ) in 2.25 sec ) >> in 2.25 , dagger will deals 2820 damage while axe will deal 1142 )

Now I have dagger/focus as I belive that dagger is the strongest\fastest weapon along with its healing ( 2K ) , while the focus heals us and apply vulnerability on our foes.

Oh my god, I never thought. The torch should… SUMMON A MINION. It can be like Shadow Fiend, but blue and flamey instead and dark and spermy
Edit: more seriously though, I actually am going to flesh out the idea of a minion for torch, I like the idea, and we could summon a “will-o-wisp” flame that inflicts short chill durations (either 1s every attack on longer attack timers like Flesh Wurm, or have flesh-golem like chain that inflicts on last hit), with an active like I described above.

I got soldier armor set for my MM necro ( P\T\V ).
I land all my marks then switch for dagger\focus and use 4th skill , spaming 1st one then transform to a shadow (DS) ( use all the 5 skills ).
I find my self an immortal in PvE and kind of in dungeons .

Improved Traits
Bloodthirst: Siphoning is 50% better and 2.5% of healing also becomes Siphoning. Life blast now siphons healthTransfusion: Life Transfer siphons health for both you and your allies
Dagger mastery: Merged with Quickening thirst
Vamperic Gluttony: (replaces vampiric precision and move to grandmaster) If your lifeforce is full lifeforce gain instead becomes Becomes siphoning. I.E 4% lifeforce gain would instead become 4% of damage siphons health
Overall those are the changes I would like to see. and doing even 2 of them would see vampuric builds improve greatly. Also Dagger mastery and Transfusion improvements aren’t actually my ideas lol Im just seconding them XD

I have to agree with ronpierce here. But to specify, I don’t think minion damage right now is too much of a problem because they are easy to kill. However, if his changes were to be implemented to make them much more difficult to kill, then damage needs to be toned down.
What I would love to see is a combination of what has been suggested in this thread about survivable minions, and what we have now. I think both should be viable playstyles, and I’d like to see them both implemented. Basically, I’d like to see minions that can be killed, but have more strength, and then minions that are very survivable, but don’t have that same strength.
Hi bro , as for Tank / DPS minions , I would suggest that tank are melee and the others are ranged so they still alive as much as possible.

Hi guys , I already finished Parachute Pliferer achievement which leaves 15 more to get ( Gift of Quartz ).

You will need another 331 badges for light/medium armor and 295 badges for heavy armor.
Not sure how much randomness there is but gettting to 1000 Achievement points seems to be enough to get you 300 badges from the reward chests.AC path 1 is easy, the other 2 can be easy or hard depending on the team

Precision and critical damage have nothing to do with your attack speed btw, aside from effects that proc on crits. I know that’s counterintuitive for a lot of people though.
If you attack once per second for 200 damage, you are doing 200 dps.
If you attack twice per second for 100 damage each, you are still doing 200 dps.Now let’s say your crits do 200% damage, and we give you 100% crit chance.
In the first example, you would be attacking once per second for 400 damage, equalling 400 dps.
In the second example, you would be attacking twice per second for 200 damage. 2×200= 400 dps still.People seem to understand that faster attacks = more crits but forget that bigger attacks = bigger crits. I’m not sure if that’s it, but I remember people having trouble with the concept way back on the wow forums.

Real problem is why the heck drakes are the only pet that their normal attack can hit 3 and skills can hit 5? (Other than jellyfish)
All pets normal attack should hit 3!! (Otherwise many of those pets really doesn’t need to exist in the first place.)

Reef drake are OP …. the ones in Southsun I mean. One of them ticked off 10 stacks of whatever the hell “Used Retreat” means for almost 2k ea. on me… instantly killed my Guardian. Wonder if there’s any exploits to make the Pet ones do that to targets? 0_o
Reef Drake does the most damage (assuming the mobs are agroed on the drake and thus attacking), then river drake (not far behind), then fire, then swamp (does more than fire if it bounces back and forth between 2 targets), then chill.
It’s the weakest drake if you are smart
Just don’t use any skill and you will be fine , too weak for PvE as most mobs hit very slowly.
I prefered the marsh drake even before the nerf on lightning, it wasn’t too far behind in damage before patch either it’s probably more now but it’s also alot easier to hit with I find, much longer range on the F2 skill plus it activates slightly faster I feel.
I agree , for me River and marsh are the best as their hits bounces , salamander’s weakness is his cone attack.
