I’m having a very hard time soloing it , I’m playing with cleric guardian and I can’t find enough players to do it with me.
What is the best time (GMT) to play with as many players as possible ?

I don’t want to spend much time to max it , how much gold will it cost to do it ?
Why do they salvage ectos ( will get much by selling them ) ? Can’t they just salvage blue items as the quality doesn’t matter ?
Does the salvage tool type affect the chances of getting the essences ?

Can you give me a table that compare each dungeon path according to it’s length , difficulty and loot/farming ?

Example > Cof > length : p1 < p2 < p3 . farming : p2 > p1 > p3 ….. and so on.

Did any one reach 300% in magic find ( achievements panel ) ?
How much did it cost ? Does rarity affect it ? what about item level ?

I think that you should go for power instead of condition , best gear for a MM is soldier.

I think that +120 Toughness is a good thing as it’s more than 2 knight armor pieces / =15 Death magic.
Thats for MM of course 8|
But I also hope for it to change to a better trait which will be > +20 Toughness for each minion you have . When a minion die , you gain protection for X seconds.

But reducing its recharge from 30 s to 15 s isn’t a good deal !

To remove its degeneration and make it have a duration ( = its recharge = 15 s ) so it will be alive as long as you keep killing , or change " summon on kill " to " summon on critical hit " .

I prefer the 1st suggestion , what do you think ?

Both witch and mad king outfits have sharing(any one can use in order to play with the summoner ) skills (Cauldron/Banquet) , why don’t the other two costumes have the same kind of skills ?

BTW , can I equip Mad king scepter with with outfit or vice versa ( equip any other outfit weapon to get his skills )?

I have both Witch and Mad king outfits ( from 2012 Halloween ) , but what about the other two ?

Hi , I’m playing as a MM since GW1. MM build has much survivability along with damage .
When facing any boss ( who has single target hits ) , you won’t worry about dieing as your HP won’t drop below 90% ( thanks to your Vampiric army and 2nd dagger skill ).
I belive that MM build is better than both power and condition as it has the highest HP/Armor you can ever have. You won’t damage you foe when you are dead , will you ?
You are not sacrificing your utilities as you have damage , blind , immobilize and knock down.

No you don’t have to as you can click on right click while moving ( make sure to put the cursor at the mid of your screen so it will always cast when u want).

I really would use the Staff…but combat with nothing but ground targeting gets so boring. I like to move around, get into the fray! Even at a range it would be fine but to ground target you usually have to stop strafing and aim it.

Nope , you don’t have to stop to cast yyour marks.
I cast them while moving > just make sure that you checked ( fast casting ) in option panel.

I advise you to get soldier instead ( still have Power :P )
I think critical is not worth sacrificing toughness and vitality ( affects you DS too ).
Minions will have all your utilities > the only affected skill ( noticeable ) is your auto attack ( dagger chain as it’s the strongest skill ).

Hi , I’m a MM ( my best class and build ). You were right about the gear > Soldier is the best , but for your weapon you must have Staff to keep your minions alive > conditions removal + healing . I advice to to get Dagger/Focus , dagger chain attack is the strongest skill we have + 2nd skill is a life saver specially when your minions die ( don’t use it unless you need healing as the chain attack is stronger . Finally , your 3rd skill is good to immobilize your foes so your minions can eat them.

Well , I agree with Bhawb with every word
I played both gw1 and gw2 , in gw1 > I was a Vampiric MM , rising horde of minions ( more enemy you kill = more minions to rise ) , while in gw2 > you don’t need enemies to get your minions ( reanimator is an exception ). I really like MM in gw2 more than the previous one.

What if reanimator created a synthesised undead minion with attacks similar to what was killed?

It probably wouldn’t work due to the work that would have to go into designing this for all enemies but just imagine…

Kill a fire elemental and reanimator uses a fire attack
Kill a graveling scavenger and reanimator uses a knockdown
Etc

You idea is wonderful , but I don’t think that it will need much work as they can create 7 types > the 6 conditions + knockdown. They can search their database so they can dvide foes into 7 groups ( each group has one special attack > burning , poison , fear ……etc ..)

I like how minions function currently, and I agree with what Bhawb explained as well.

I do wish some of our minions would be re-designed. The blood fiend is just ugly to me, and not in the cool, intimidating, or horrific way… it just looks silly.

I am a big fan of raising zombies, skeletons, etc. But I don’t necessarily prefer raising corpses compared to what we currently do. Creating minions from dead matter is cool and different, even if they sometimes look ridiculous.

OH I almost forgot, I REALLY want a Fleshreaver summon, other than the crappy sigil. Those things are wicked!

Necros got the hightest vitality ( DS ) and the highest toughness ( protection of the horde > 120 + Dark Armor > 400 ) > We are the best tankers

Minions aren’t really worth supporting with AOE regeneration. You can basically maintain regeneration on them with mark of blood alone, ignoring any support the rest of your party gives you.

In PvP your blood fiend’s passive auto attack heal is more valuable to you than your minions getting AOE regeneration.

But I won’t sacrifice with fighter runes , Power and toughness for the worthless healing power !

You’re not going to sacrifice it, but when you use it, it is going to proc it anyway, and you should be killing the minion yourself.

His auto healing is much better ( unless it’s critical situation ).
But it’s better to heal ur minions and try to keep them alive as they are your best way of DPS ( even if you are zerker ).

Even a 1 second condition is going to be affected by condition duration.

I didn’t mean that it won’t affect them at all , but it will increase the duration by ~ 0.4 sec which isn’t better than increasing their damage .

Yeah I guess that’s kind of the point really. If you want to take a general glance at the classes compared to other games, there’s not too much that makes them unique outside of the pet classes being useless(if using pets).

If your conditions have long durations ( more than 3 sec ) , get the duration ones ( won’t affect your conditions which have 1-2 sec ).
But for short durations , you will need the condition damage runes.

Well I can’t disagree with you , but Rune of Dwayna is a garbage for MM.
Will you sacrifice your blood fiend just to heal the others ( small amount ) ?
Using Mark of Blood every time when it’s ready + transfusion is enough to keep most of them alive.

Can Anet give us the ability to sort our inventory items ?
I mean > sort ( divide soul bound items from account bound and normal ones )
- sort according to their quality and so on..

Hehe , to be honest , my asuran necro ( main char ) is 80 , I kept my hearty armor ( level 45 ) till 80 then I got exotic one.
As long as you stay in the armor level , you won’t need new one. ( I spend most of my time in 1-50 maps
( BTW , I got 5 80es chars )

Best face mask/cape/helmet is Charr skull mask , check it out.

Well , they were right when they told you to use MM build.
I found out that it’s the easiest build to level by. I tested all builds , MM is the best.
