I agree with most of them , however in order to balance the traits , some tweaks should be applied

As for blood magic , I have an idea >>
Vampiric Master > Minions attacks heal them and their master.

As it focuses on chill/vulnerability , I think that zerker with conditon duration stats will be the best build.

Minions are just utilities, so yes. You can use your utility slots for Minion Skills. Nothing says you have to take the Reaper Shouts when you spec into the Reaper.

No mention has been made on Minion AI and its pathing issues.

I asked whether there will be new minions to summon ( like weapon skills not utilities ).

I watched the youtube video about the skill bar changes in the up coming patch.
Most of them are awesome , but seriously ? It has been 2 years and you couldn’t fix the minions AI yet ?!

While doing Ossuary of Unquiet Dead mission , I killed the priestess of Lyssa . Killing her bugged the mission. This bug is mentioned in the wiki >
" After defeating the Risen Priestess of Lyssa the mission will not advance as intended. This mission is currently not completable. "
Does this mean that I won’t be able to complete my personal story till it get fixed ?
When will you fix it ?

However , all events trackers have been disabled. I think that the new megaserver system caused that.
I’m not talking about the world-events tracker ,but the normal events.

Honestly we don’t need a new elite minion. We need the current elite minion to learn how to swim (so it doesn’t despawn whenever we get a toe wet). A different elite minion would at best go on cooldown when the non-environment appropriate minion despawns, or at worst take up an elite slot (while other professions get new elites that don’t just fix an issue). Maybe give it a different ability underwater, but teach the kitten thing how to swim.

On a somewhat broader scale, I really wish there was a resource-efficient way to generate swarms in the way that GW1 necros could. I know this has been beaten to death for two years now, but even if it required some heavy trait investment, I’d like to see necros not in lich form with twelve minions. Alas.

+1 for minions swarm , more minions = cooler look and stronger.
And please ! Allow all our minions to regenerate including bone and blood minions.

We need a new elite minion ( which knows how to swim -_- ).
I suggest that you add >> Undead shark ( has frenzy biting skill ).
I would be glad if Anet add more minions either as utilities or new weapon( torch ).
Finally , Anet should work so hard and fix minions bad AI which prevent them from attacking 50% of the time.
Don’t say that MM build isn’t valuable as I believe that it’s the best necro build which will make us immortals specially if we know when to dodge and enter DS. I’m certain that many necros agree on this.

Do whatever works for you but in my opinion burning precision and blinding ashes will work against each other and there is no justification for spending 1 point alone in any traitline the way you did in water. Finally, if I were making a glyph build i’d for sure have the heal and stunbreak and trait more heavily into arcane/air for fresh air and boon stacking. As someone else mentioned, the focus is more defense than the stats from gear can provide but the playstyle isnt for everyone. Check out Zelyhn’s d/f guide, iirc its stickied somewhere around here.

First , why would burning precision and blinding ashes work against each other ?
Second , I didn’t find any better trait than soothing mist ( Air/arcane minors or grand earth traits )

I’m doing the personal story to connect the events to the 2nd season.
Do you mean that the personal story has nothing to do with the 2nd season story ? ( There isn’t a sequences)

dekeyz2chaos didn’t upload any video about D/D ele ,but I check other videos about it.
Most of them are using zerker gear along with arcane utilities. I think that sacrifising toughness and vitality for more damage isn’t worth it specially when elementalits got the lowest vitality. Won’t PvT or even knight gear be better ?

I’m trying to finish a story before doing the 2nd season stories. I unlocked both Gates of Maguuma and Entanglement ,but didn’t do any of them yet > didn’t unlock their achievements.

Well , I have 2 necros , guardian , thief , mesmer , engineer , ranger and warrior .
It’s time to level an elementalist , I tried it in 2012 ( thought that it’s weaker than the others ).
I hope that it got buffed since then.

As for the weapons , I took 2 pistols just for the sigils ( bloodlust and battle > might on each kit swap along with power stacks )
Picked pistol over shield as I think that shield skills aren’t better than offhand pistol ones even with +0 condition damage .

Strenght in Numbers (Valor IV) is much better than Purity. 150 Toughnes for everyone AND protection is not bad.

Signet Mastery (Radiance II) isn’t worth it, you have so much healing and defense, those 5 points are better in Virtues. More protection and Regenration is always good.

I am not sure why you use a Superior Sigill of Battle, you don’t do any damage. Better swap them for a Superior Sigil of Renewal.

Just my 2 cent. But why don’t you post this build in the Guardian subforum?

Strength in numbers says > Nearby allies gain toughness based on your effective level . What does it mean by effective level ?

I put it in this subforum as I didn’t intend to just talk about guardian , I was talking about the best supporter/protector in the entire game.

Well, you wanna use your high healing the more you can, and sigil of renewal is another way to direct heal.

Staff ele are the best healers unforunatly, geyseer + healinrain + AA + soothing mist + most healin skills are water fields. in additon you get line of warding thing just like guardians + stuncircle + aoe swiftness as guardian too EVEN a lot of AOE.

I’m not just talking about healing , I said support which includes all boons > protection is better than healing.

I have cleric guardian with boons build , 90% of parties I play with never die.
I think that guaridan is the best supporter in the game and it’s an equal to priest.

Bhawb , what runes and sigils should I use to counter him ?

Even when he is not stealthed , most of my skills ( along with minions active attacks ) got missed , I won by luck as my golem knocked him down.

He did not kill any of my minions so Death Nova will be useless unless it works with putrid explosion ( is it fixed ? ).

About Blood fiend , should I replace it with well of blood ?

I don’t think that Fetid Consumption will be usefull too as he is a zerker ( he didn’t use conditions at all , just melee > shadow step at my feet then unleashing devasting attacks )
I heard that wurm ignores stealth , I shall give it a try.

I lost because most of my minions active skills missed because of his stealth ( every 2 sec ).
My marks are useless to him as he got healed whenever he cloaked himself.
What is the best strategy against him ?

I disagree for a power/any stat account wide as all armor gear is cheap even exotic.
The problem comes with Ascended ones as they are too expensive specially for me ( got 6 80es ).
I just want Anet to change them from soul bound to account bound.

I’m in Gandara server which has the highest population along with other ones such as underworld and desolation.
I did most its achievements by chosing the right time to do it which was around 8 pm GMT.

You should watch thor and avangers. He can summon illusions to trick his foes , he can transfer him self to any other creature.

I wish that you convert agony resistance from character wide to account wide as you did in currency.

This change will be very helpful for players that have many alts and want to play it with different one each time. The reason is that Ascended gear is expensive specially when you want to have it on many of your alts.
