Wow…… they really don’t care about the core game anymore it seems. and I have been supportive of them and HOT from the beginning, but to do this is simply unacceptable.

I already have full unlocked dragon hunter. Working on herald now. THe maps are actually pretty cool too.

You can get boxed copies but then you have to wait for shipping, if you get digital they basically send you a code and you redeem it. The perk is you get it faster though

I find that I rarely use shiro abilities except for the quickness one on occasion for a quick finishing burst. I’m obviously still learning the class but I haven’t found much use out of the others yet unless i need to remove cripple or something though.

Lol I was actually having a really hard time in ac earlier cuz we went with a team of level 50s, but as soon as I switched to jails over shiro it made it a lot easier. The stability they give with that road thing and combination with their elite which you can use pretty often to reduce incoming damage for you and your team by 50% is really good.

I expected it to suck but the 50% damage reduction for 5 seconds is nice, I can actually see jalis being a viable alternative legend to run.

It’s a new legendary, no way to shortcut it. and you get the materials from fractals not raids.

1. Supposed to be difficult and challenging.

2. It’s not even the entire wing of the raid so the vale guardian isn’t the only boss.

3. I doubt chrono, reaper, or rev are going to be nerfed very hard.

Alright, well look…. I get the disappointment about not being able to have instant access to your elite spec, but at the same time i feel like it’s healthier to the game and adds more playtime. ( even if that playtime is an annoying grind) The fact that it was an elite spec meant it was going to take some effort though.

As for pre making legendaries, someone already said it above that it was your own fault so I will not beat a dead horse by repeating that, but I get the sense you know they are right. If you made two legendaries though, I don’t see why you are so disappointed, you have two legendaries! That’s a feat in and of itself!! Be proud of it, because either way, you’d still have to have spend just as long to get one of the new legendaries regardless.

Mesmer here.

Guardians were taken for reflect and because they out dps mesmers. However with alacrity our community hypothesized the new meta would be 2 ele, 1 chronomancer, 1 warrior, 1 revenant.

The uptime on quickness and alacrity makes for a group that out dps the current meta.

Revenant becomes a half warrior, half guard. Taken for niche stat increases.

The mesmer would be half guard, half thief.

theres no reason to take Rev over Guard for fractals/dungeons. Raids, maybe because its unknown territory, but as if now, Guardian is still a boss hog due to reflects

I am not the most knowledgeable in this game but i have to ask why you wouldn’t take a rev into a fractal over a guardian. I know guardians are good but with the way revs bring weakness and conditions and projectile blocks i dont see how you couldnt bring one.

Guardians have reflects which is arguably more useful in the lava shaman boss fractal. they also provide a ton of stability. They will both be used in fractals but I think fractals are the one place where a guardian will remain a staple. Not saying rev isn’t a good replacement, but guardians are still really useful for those.

I felt like the dev who was working on reaper was extremely professional and was actually annoyed at ruby’s jokes n stuff lol
