LA during Wintersday…maybe..
You guys are suggesting A-net completely redesign an entire NPC race based on your intentions/wishes and your presumptions about theirs O.o lol I like the new look but I don’t’t think they have a new playable race in the works or the idea of redesigning an NPC one. Maybe lore section rather than actual suggestions. I think that would make a really sweet thief though. Idk about clipping issues with the ‘wing’ things though. I guess the redesign would cover reskinning every armor in the game for them too though.
Well I agree that might be easier although so may need to warm up to the system. I’m assuming A-net figures that the computing power to implement how the current system recognizes the players and having it change the way bases, cap points, random flags, etc are colored on a per player basis is much greater than the computing power needed for you to remember which color your team is. They’ll, most likely, stick with the current system.

Oh indeed idk how I never noticed that. What a bad idea. Well, at least ALL traces of former members disappears after you kick them so that helps a bit… O.o boo to LS and YAY for bug fixes
Thank you for seriously correcting my ‘serious’ post Seera! Tools Rule! Your reply does too, Seera. Seriously :p
I agree with Trogdor here a bit but I also very much agree that spending 125 Gems (roughly 10g) for some ‘really sweet account bound’ mysterious tonics, swimming boosters, and “bags of coin” makes the average person feel about like how thieves have felt every time they read new balance patch notes since launch…and that’s not a good feeling. People want to feel like they just read warrior patch notes A-net!!! All warm and fuzzy inside
especially after spending real money for these things. At least slightly raise the chance of getting another key for one more shot at the ‘BL Crap(s) Tables’
pun intended lol

Kicking somebody from a party and kicking them from a guild are entirely different. Also, a party member is treated as just that when they’re in your party whether they’re a guildie or not. I don’t understand the big deal here. Please elaborate.
Home bases show your color before you leave them. Pressing B will also show you which team you’re on. Hope that helps.
What I said wasn’t offensive. It was realistic. Saying ‘learn your stuff and don’t be foolish’ would be more offensive imo, but those don’t matter for the sake of need/practicallity of adding some more ‘ghost servers’
For real you’re farming gold in a starter zone. Get over it and don’t selfishly persist that you somehow deserve more loot or less ‘inconvenience’. O.o what a joke. Is this just a silly troll post or something?
Another terrible idea from Orpheal in the suggestions again… Your proposal has two MAJOR flaws IMO. The first, which is more obvious, is medium classes would have pros and cons to work with in both directions while light/heavy classes would have more extreme effects. Please note that while it seems balanced in theory, defense is not equal to HP (ie condition damage for starters) and certain classes have a lot of traits that interact with HP/defense that would cause some serious balance issues with this idea. The second, less obvious point, is that in the heat of battle, profession specific armor types are important to planning, positioning, casting, etc. I don’t want to see heavy armor and think I’m somewhat safe (w/o seeing a huge animation) only to get teleganked by a thief from 1500 away.

you can simply use your scroll wheel to soom in and out on the mini map and i think they assumed that if you know which way north is, then you should have a good idea of what the other compass directions are but they didn’t accont for event indicators covering up the ‘N’. it would be simple for them to fix or for you to use the zoom option. maybe they’re just old school and take for granted that people dont know how to use REAL maps anymore b/c technology does all of modern peoples thinking for them
this is not ‘dual spec’ as far as the GW universe is concerned. as that would be ele/ranger or whatever. your idea is known (and very much loved by all) to the GW world as build templates and there are tons of threads on this subject since launch. in GW1 you could actually send your friends your build template via chat. though GW1 builds were a bit more simple
yes I DO SEE. i also see bank express for gems in the shop. the bag idea wont over happen. if you read the thread you’ll notice that i proposed a practical idea
i think you might have accidentally purchased GW2 instead of The Sims 2…hope you kept your receipt :p
we would probably be better off cutting the server numbers in half if you want to be remotely realistic for 2 seconds
i love this idea but have 5 letters i’m sure have already crossed your mind… Q Q e r s would be a great idea though but importing all the weapon models from GW1 would be quite a feat at this point seeing as simple bugs still remain since launch and many scythes aren’t even used in GW2. if A-net catches wind of a quick money making scheme though (cough Human T3 for gems cough) this might get some traction
idk about a ‘hierarchy’ as that seems kinda silly and hard to actually implement but colored comm. tags would most definitely be a great asset to the wvw battlefield. especially when groups have to merge for something and then afterward go their seperate ways
conditions can be mitigated with removal skills, traits, and even a sigil. their durations can be shortened by a host of different traits, food, and runes i.e. rune of melandru
adding a condition reduction stat would have HUGE balancing issues in combination with certain foods and traits. there are already many combinations (ahem..warriors, engis, eles) that give immunity to some conditions as well as near immunity to all conditions.
there is also a huge disparity between +condition duration and -condition duration effects as one effects the base and the other effects the total duration. for example i have +50% condition duration to a 10 second bleed for a total of a 15 sec bleed. you have a -50% condition duration which turns my 15 sec bleed into a 7.5 sec bleed. less than the actual base of my skill while i have invested quite a bit into duration for said skill and you might only eat one piece of food. (you can achieve up to -70% condition duration on ALL conditions w/o any trait investments i believe)
(edited by Tman.6349)
the game cant really take into account how many people you intend on using your portal and its a two way street. maybe a bit more info would be nice though similar to the how the stealth icon works on the conditions etc bar
yes these are the most worthless things ever. all the effects are mediocre. chances are that when you get your last kill that you’re not gonna need the effect afterwards. all other ‘stacking’ sigils are based on a 25 stack count which is easy enough in pve but in pve you get 5 stacks per kill meaning that 4 of those are wasted as they require 26 O.o why not make the 25 stacks to be in line with the rest of the ‘stacking’ sigils. i’ve never used one as the rewards are nowhere close to the requirements needed to proc them and i’d say 75%+ part of the time the effects are gonna be rendered useless in pvp making them much more directed at pve and there they have a trivial use as most kills are gonna come from small mobs and not be useful as in the case with maybe negating a huge boss attack or for that ONE rez that stems the tide of the battle. i say rework them or toss them in the trash personally.
it is a fact that when weilding a Legendary and going into stealth you do lose your footprints so….
“Ranger pet is now optional. Press F1 to toggle attack/return. F2 to trigger its unique skill, F3 to swap pets, F4 to perma-stow and get a 35% damage increase to weapon skills and traps.”
i swear i’ve seen you post this on like 20 different threads and it is a terrible idea and won’t happen. give it up. getting rid of one profession’s ‘profession mechanic’ is a silly notion. how bout we get rid of shatters and give mesmers random dazes, confusions, extra damage, and invincibility? why not get rid of death shroud and just add 20k health to necros base health pool? why? becuase its rediculous is why. if you can’t play a ranger with their pet effectively then choose another profession. the pet has commands and is very useful and to some extent op in a lot of pvp situations. taking out a profession mechanic and adding a flat +35% damage buff is not the answer to any ranger fixes. learn to use your profession. there are plenty of threads and guides to how to use ranger/pet effectively if you want to give google a shot or i happen to own dungeons all over the place with my ranger and can offer plenty of advice with how to be effective with your pet. having a source of permanent ‘passive’ damage has to have some drawbacks and it happens to be micro managing your pet and using skills/commands to keep them in the fight and effective.

many people DO understand the difference and there isn’t one other than the ease of convenience which you can most certainly have with bank express and not circumvent a gemstore item (aka convenience item). the true alternative would be an everlasting bank express, merchant express, or lion trader express that could be account bound and somehow accessible via the inventory/hero panel which would most likely have a hefty price tag but would be a viable alternative to to the ‘account bag’ theory which has a few problems i.e. souldbound rune drops from dungeons etc. i’m all for implemention of new QoL features and A-net has been somewhat reasonable with these kind of things: the wallet system, the gathering tools, and other account wide features. i always figure you’re better off offering up an idea that will make them money as well as add a QoL adjustment rather than something that would be a pain to implement and organize as well as taking an existing gemstore item and rendering it useless. perhaps an account wide ‘express’ system via gemstore could actually gain some traction so maybe we should let go of the bag idea and lets consider another alternative perhaps.
ps. making said bag char bound would completely defeat the purpose of the bag unless you’re suggesting bying a new bag slot via gems and a new bag via gems on every char for your account which just seems completely counter intuitive for the QoL proposal and outrageously expensive for those who enjoy many characters who would find this feature most attractive. i’m not about to spend 3200 gems (400 per 80) + whatever crazy price these bags should cost per 8 chars. looking at $100 for a QoL feature O.o i’d suggest you have a pretty nice quality of life if you have 100 bucks to blow on such silly things

“i want to undo the cons/mistakes of decisions i have made but would, nonetheless, very much like to keep the benifits that said mistake provides me” ….this is a silly idea and will not happen. a newly created char is treated as newly created, and not 1 year old etc. can’t have cake and eat it too. sorry
most minion masters run full minion builds that buff their masters like crazy i.e. siphoning health, removing boons, taking damage for the master, transferring conditions, etc. minion builds only really have 2 variants both of which involve speccing into survival traits heavily and are mostly likely running zerker in order to get any real damage output from the build. i own them all the time and have succes by immediately nuking all their minions down asap as this is where ALL of their defense comes from and these builds have nearly no investment into DS so once minions are gone you have a completely kitten necro with no mobility, evasion, or defensive mechanics. it seems counter intuitive to go for a players adds first but in the case of minion builds, they literally are useless without a full set of minions, all of which have low health and reasonable long cooldowns after death. spike the minions and the build falls to pieces. if you just go for the necro himself, you will undoubtedly get wrecked. hope this helps. "g"i"m"p"e"d" is explicit?!? A-net…get it together already plz O.O
(edited by Tman.6349)
necromancers are so underatted and i would advise you try to give necro a solid try. i have an incredible necro build that wrecks in dungeons. from huge amounts of crowd control, to healing and buffing allies, condition removal for allies and wrecking havok on enemy boons. just dont run MM as it is a silly gimmic build and nobody will take you seriously but necro can bring some serious assets to a dungeon group once you get used to learning what their true strengths are and how to build an effective one. if you want your necro to wreck kittens in dungeons shoot me a pm sometime and i can show you some things that aren’t being done as their are few necros in general and they really don’t have any kind of a meta to speak of. necro is a straight beast though i assure you
Norn Frostbow/Bear Ele all the way. Most unknown OP build in all of GW2!
frostbow is decent in some situations as it slows some enemies to maintain high aoe damage. i usually pick one up if i have most skills on cooldown. press 4, target champ or prio mob press 5, press 2 then drop and continue again being productive. it defintitely is not worth holding on to for the full recharge of its skills or even using all the charges of the bow itself outside of particular instances. it’s good situationally in AC and can be good in CM for slowing/AoEing down the larger mobs, like the ambush, the fear spamming doggies, the mobs of riflemen/bombers in the different paths, can be useful in SE in p1 and p3 in certain areas. it is by no means meta and outside of these certain areas should be swapped out for something more useful. healing aside, its a ranged weapon so how many 1k heals do you actually need? O.o
my human guardian is named ‘The Body Guardian’ eat your heart out Kevin Costner…Guardian Angel was a monk friend of mine from GW1 so that was reserved
as a GW tradition money sinks have NEVER EVER EVER EVER…i repeat NEVER EVER EVER EVER involved spending loads of gold to make different builds viable. as an 8 year GW1 veteran this is the number one turnoff for me about GW2 and my heart aches every time i theory craft another great new build and then consider the heaps of gold i will have to throw away just to TRY the build asc. gear should have a stat swap option inherent (legendaries are for their prestigeous looks imo and nothing more) and trait reallocation should be free, both of these outside of battle of course. anet doesnt see the long term positive effects this would have for the community and only sees the short term loss of peole throwing them money to convert gems in order to keep up with the gold sinks we already have in place. gold and other currencies should be for horizontal progression only (as is GW tradition) and this would make the game much more friendly to new players who aren’t sure how to play the game or their profession. this is also what leads to the ‘tried and true’ use of pure zerker setups as who wants to flush gold down the toilet only to find their theory wasnt so great after all. this simple concept which should have been a part of the game to begin with would give the professions/players true versitility. i’d even be fine if you had to go to a “blacksmith” and pay for a set of stats (or a crafted insignia) to be added to your existing armor repoitare or somthing of this effect as they maybe shouldn’t just be handed to us with the current chaos we have reguarding this issue and this would also keep markets from fluctuating to terribly much. they should also over time give some effort toward making new stat combinations for us to choose from (especially the primary stats) this is something that many peole have suggested and i’ve been rooting for since the ascended gear even came on the scene. with this simple game revolutionizing change, build templates could be seemlessly integrated into GW2 system. please listen to your veterans anet. we want horizontal progression as promised and we want versitility as has always been the GW norm. returning some good vibes to the community might just net an INCREASE in those gem sales you cherrish so much, but who knows right
(edited by Tman.6349)
also low precision builds to have the benefit (for most cases) to access fury which will proc most of these sigils/runes on cd with just the base 24% crit chance you get with fury and base precision. also most high crit builds have are lacking in other stats that make the taking of the sigils valuable in the first place, unless your running a rabid or similar build which is where these sigils sign at a HUGE loss in power so it is well balanced as is. rampager builds are glass condition builds which are meh unless running a hybrid style build where you either lose durability or dont get the maximum effect of each of your primary stats. no build is gonna be perfect for everything and such is a balanced game
(edited by Tman.6349)
what about the ‘when you’re hit runes"? i much prefer the 5% chance to proc a fear or a Rock Dog at the beginning of a fight (rng aside) a squishy build is most likely not going to stand up to taking a full 20 hits in order to proc such effects and the rng is actually very much to your benefit in this manner considering the duration of most fights is 30-60secs and these effects have a 90 second icd giving you just enough time to hopefull get a proc in your next fight. by the time an enemy has landed 20 hits on me, i’m hoping either my rune has procced or that i am in the process of stopping them already. i dont like this idea and you take for granted how much the rng has a chance to save your booty. this is an r40s opinion though and nothing else
they have this option via gem store the bank express so adding another slot specifically for these reason will, most likely, not happen
and dont forget to kiss your souldbound cultural t3 goodbye while you’re at it. i dont see how this is practical from many standpoints and, therefore, will most likely never be implemented. create new char, use scroll of knowledge, then grab 60 tomes of knowledge and you’re there…takes all of 2 mins to get to lvl 80, provided you have a bit of glory and some gold at your disposal and that you have a 1 yr old char but that seems like a fair amount of requirements for instant lvl 80 anyway imo. good luck
Use the gems you would spend on that kit and get a new char slot or create a new one if you have an open slot. You can get the Tomes of knowledge yourself so they don’t need to be included in any gimmick kit. This may have been suggested thousands of times but it has happened yet because it’s rediculous and silly. A-net isn’t in the business of fixing your personal mistakes based on preference/opinion. They’re in the business of making a game that is enjoyable and likable, which they have done even if a race change would make you happier. They’ve even given you a simple path to completely remaking your toon and leveling it back to max easily, without just handing it to you on a silver-platter in the gem store. Your idea is very complex and don’t happen. Its even sillier to suggest that they would create this elaborate item and only put it in the gem store as if created to cater to one person in the community. Lol.
i’m trying to figure out your vague description for clarification. you were doing the dungeon for over 2 hours soloing it? or were you in a group where a couple or more dropped (or left being a 2+ hr run) forcing you to find new players to help finish? i’m just curious as to whether you were solo or the last one left of a party and then he joined and you got kicked b/c otherwise 3 people would have had to vote to kick you if there was a party at the time you were kicked. reguardless it really is rediculous and i think the whole ‘dungeon host’ problem is a serious issue that should have been in some way resolved long ago but with char bound explore mode access i understand some of the issues with a dungeon host work around. However, i do have a few ideas for issues resolving kicking people throughout the course of a dungeon.
I believe it would be a great idea to have a ‘checkpoint system’ on every dungeon. It could be say 25-50% of the way through each path (maybe after the first instance for FotM) and after this checkpoint you can no longer kick any party member from the current group. In the event of people going afk, leeching, and/or getting disconnected there would still be the option to kick people but with this new system, when you get voted to be kicked, you get a message on your screen that states you will soon be kicked from the current party/instance. This message would have a 15-20 second timer in which you have to click an ’i’m present button’ proving that you are not afk or whatever. If the rest of the group selects you to be kicked from the party then you will be kicked but ONLY before the checkpoint, as I think that is plenty of time for a group to decide if all members are productive and effective in the party. After the checkpoint, only failing to select the ‘disreguard request for kick’ option would allow you to be kicked from the group.
Also I think it would be great to have some kind of mark, on the map or otherwise, to show who the dungeon host is for the given instance. Also a warning message should be added to pop up when the dungeon host has been selected to be kicked from the current group. I have been in plenty of dungeon runs where the host disconnected and the group, in their anxious click happy state, kicked the dungeon host before he could reconnect and the whole group lost all progress.
I don’t know how else to resolve the dungeon host problem with groups being kicked except maybe one idea. All players are obviously coded as to whether they’re able to open explore mode, so there could be a system to use this to ‘pass the torch’ so to speak. If the dungeon host leaves or is kicked, the game would instantly check to see if anyone else in the group has access to explorable mode and, if so, the game would pass the role of dungeon host to this person.
I know these ideas aren’t flawless or maybe even well described or even possible to implement but this is just some things that I’ve come up with. I love running dungeons and, outside of PVP, that’s where I spend 90% of my time. I would very much like these issues to be resolved, so if anybody has better ideas than the ones I’ve presented or would even like to elaborate on my ideas, please do so that we may be able to have a more stable dungeon experience. thanx
its always better to just buy things outright in my personal opinion so you dont run the risk of paying twice for something, as a ‘chance’ to save some money usually costs you twice as much. i liken RNG in GW2 to going outside blindfolded and shooting a bird out of the sky with a bow and arrow….well that might be a bit of an exaggeration….there are a LOT of birds out there lol
You’re on a new char. Go to the bottom of the guild tab and click the ‘Represent’ button. Whenever you make a new character they start off without representing any of the guilds your other chars are in. All of the guilds will be accessible to your account though. You have to click the ‘Represent’ button for each new char you make. Everything is working as inteded. have fun and Merry Christmas
Most of scrambles arguments are actually fairly decent (this comes from a firmly anti-dueling person.)
The one addition I’d want – and it would be unacceptable to introduce dueling without it – instant perma-ban of the inevitable “duel be bro” kittens that (using every other game that has dueling as my evidence) crawl out of the woodwork, and spam the world.
If someone has auto-decline on, and you pester them anyway, you get a permanent invitation to the non-tyrian world. Simple as that.
Dueling is being asked for because griefers want to grief, I get it. What I want as a countermeasure is the first time someone takes is past the auto-decline, and harasses someone, they get an perma-ban, with no appeal.
If I won’t be able to keep it away from me (I’ve suggested about 10 different ways to have dueling implemented that wouldn’t ever impact people not dueling) then have it so the kiddies who will insist you must duel them get removed. Rather darwinian, that.
Most of the people advocating open-world duels are ‘fairly decent’(your opinions are gold of course) so you thought you’d counter that by being completely unreasonable? You completely discredit their intentions by claiming it’s all a conspiracy to make you miserable and not just that they think it would be fun. You support this with overwhelming evidence of hearsay/exaggerations about ‘every other game out there’. Other people shouldn’t be able to have fun on their own terms, of course, so it’s only fair that should any of their fun leak over into your experience, even if an accident, it’s absolutely practical that they be banned permanately. Of course, it won’t be an accident because there antagonizing ‘duel me’ taunts are sure to be commonplace everywhere you seek a good time in the world of Tyria. O.o I remember a couple of weeks ago, you saying you quit the game as you’d lost hope in A-net, yet here you are making accusations of people just being out to cause YOU grief while at the same time making suggestions of THEM getting perma-banned as penence for hypothetical harassment you’re sure to be plagued by (“anything less would be unacceptable”O.o) as if you’re somehow the center of the GW2 universe. I very much agree that griefers want to grief, and i get it. I also agree very much that those who are out to cause animocity and grief in the community should have a coach class ticket to the non-tyrian world, as surely it would be best for the ‘evolution’ of the game. You make a couple of VERY good points.
and Anet is not supposed to create a ‘typical’ vertical progression system as has been the tradition of the franchise (though arguements abound, that’s a seperate forum)
the traits are tied to stats as a way to curb power creep and to balance/normalize builds as well as giving the traits a certain ‘base stat’ tied to them. the very same reason armor, weapons, and trinkets are setup with ‘stat sets’. this what creates diversity and still allows a way to maintain/monitor balance. if you want to take full survival traits, then you can’t run 100% maximized offensive stats and, likewise, if you want to take full offensive traits you can’t run 100% maximized defensive stats. most of the trait lines even have 1 or 2 mixed traits i.e. offensive oriented traits in defensive trait lines and vice versa. a huge part of maintaining a good system of build diversity AND balance is the fact that to get something you have to lose something. so ‘the best build’ is up to the imagination, preference of the person’s playstyle and choosing what is important to them and what other things they are willing to give up. this keeps classes from becoming too stale to the point where there is one maximum offensive build and one maximum defensive build per profession. an HGH Engi cant run a 100% maximized zerker build just as a Dhuumfire condition necro cannot run a 100% defensive bunker build. part of realistic balance is keeping ‘all or none’ builds out of the mix and making sure that every build has some kind of weakness. either of the builds i mentioned would be a nightmare in pvp and just imagine 14 more just like them if each class had a single maximized offensive and defensive build. it sounds good in theory to just be able to dream up any build you want with any combination of weapons, stats, and traits but if you want to keep any practical sense of balance in the game it’s just not a realistic system and given the already dominate ‘zerker warrior only’ mindset we so so much in the dungeon community, this proposition would, in no way, encourage build diversity the way you’re proposing that it would. tbh it would only destroy build diversity.
I’m r40 Champion Illusionist and have been rocking a shatter burst mesmer for all that time and they are EXTREMELY powerful if you know how to use them. Part of this is understanding the shatter mesmers shortcomings and learning how to work around them. I’ve been running Staff/GS shatterburst since launch when everyone was saying phantasm are the only way to go blah blah blah. I have a unique build that is my own and I call it my ‘Bunker Buster’ mesmer. It is designed for shredding bunkers’ defenses to pieces and bursting them down with incredible speed. One thing to be aware of with a shatter build is illusion management and the other is that it takes timing to setup a proper burst. If you just run toward somebody and evade a couple times and then hit your shatter, you will fail miserably. Its a squishy spec with little condition removal BUT your offense IS your defense with a shatter build. The element of suprise will make a shatter mesmer a brutal build to play with/against. Nobody expects a mesmer to burst them down without notice and this is how a shatter mesmer has to be played to be effective. I’ve bursted a bunker guard from full health to downed in less than 3 seconds. No he was not a terrible guardian and yes he saw me coming from a mile away. Mesmers are naturally deceptive though much like the thief and this is one of their greatest strengths. The shatter mesmer is only really good in small fights (5v5 tpvp) and 1v1s. Don’t expect to take a shatter mesmer into a WvW zerg fight and think you’re gonna do any good, but I promise, as somebody that has mastered a shatter mesmer, it is an absolutely devestating and game changing spec for pvp. It doesn’t really on gimmicks or silly enemies, but it does rely heavily and skilled play and knowing your skills, strengths, weaknesses, and surroundings so its not a pick up and own style build like some ppl prefer. If you want to invest the time and patience to learn to play a shatter mesmer though, the rewards are great and satisfying and your team will much appreciate the destruction you have to bring to the table. I’m on the Kaineng server if you would ever like to get some ingame advice/practice. you can PM me whenever: Psysmic Activities
I get an overwhelming sense that everyone finds they have more fun/better things to do WITHOUT the Living Story just from reading this thread. Perhaps Anet should recognize this, as I’m positive it’s not just some ‘holiday anomoly’. Time gated grind for achievement points and meager rewards (I.e. the LS) is not fun and appears to only distract people from their real long-term goals which is where players get their TRUE sense of achievement and reward. “Play the game however you want!(as long as its the way we want you to)” was/is a rather deceptive strategy IMO. Have a Merry Christmas everyone and good luck with your holiday goals as we get our much needed break from The ‘Dying’ Story anxiety! Cheers.
To the A-net team, thanx for the hard work and effort this year and may you all have a wonderful break as well. I look forward to starting the new year with your minds refreshed and hope we can move forward together in a positive and engaging way to kick off 2014!
Another solution would be that the challenges have nothing to do with AP and more to do with tangible rewards for this kind of content. The idea/delusion that anyone who puts less time/effort into playing the game should be equally rewarded/prestiegeous as those who invest much more is an absurd sense of entitlement IMO. But that’s a seperate issue.
I agree with the op a lot here. I would love to see 8 new elite skills, several new maps, a couple more playable races, an AI overhaul, Asuran portals in Orr, and a few more dungeons in the next patch, which is in early/mid January. Also, at this break-neck pace, I don’t see why GW3 shouldn’t be ready to hit the shelves by early July, so we should start looking forward to that as well.
As soon as it gets a little bit more… difficult, people will always cry. Players don’t want to do all paths of a dungeon, they only want to do the easy one to get their rewards as easy and fast as possible. Which is sad, i hope they keep the changes. This is the first time in months that i’ve visited gw2lfg without seeing ‘’LF3M ZERK WARRIORS PING OR KICK’’ all over the site, which is kittening awesome. I love it.
Lazy people will always be lazy. Get your crap together and try some different paths for exchange, i promise you that you won’t get bored as fast.
Its really ironic that you make this post about people being upset about their dungeon runs getting nerfed all to hack and rewards on alts being rendered moot with your hateful arrogant attitude, but then , low and behold, I look at a history of your posts and there you are doing the exacts same thing about the karma Nerf and “how much longer and more frustrating it will be to farm karma” for your precious THIRD LEGENDARY!! You, sir, are a complete hypocrite and this is the exact ‘foot in mouth’ selfish attitude a loathe so much about some people in the GW2 community. I’ve had 8 geared 80’s for a very long time now as I leveled alts instead of grinding Legendaries like so many others. I like running dungeons. That’s what I like to do and that’s how/why I leveled all 8 professions and it was a good source of income/loot/way to acquire gear for multiple builds. Like the op and many others this Nerf has made me gradually lose more and more interest in this game over time where plenty of days I don’t even care to log in any more. All my opinions aside, don’t come here being hateful to one group of players who get a huge Nerf, and then hypocritically come back to rage when the same thing happens to you. That goes for the rest of the community as well. Tread lightly and have some empathy for other players losses b/c in the near or distant future you will surely fall under the Nerf hammer as well in some way. A-net should change the name of this game as it certainly doesn’t deserve the reputation its big brother has passed on to it.
I don’t see how paying someone with in game currency to do content for you is in any way a problem or a ‘real money trade’. With this mindset you would have to completely disable the trade post, as, with it, you’re fundamentally paying someone to farm an item for you. This conversation has no need to go any further, unless Anet would like to enter the realm of double-mindedness.
yes, healing signet is fine.
move adrenal health to an upper tier trait.
requiring 25 points in defense instead of 15 points.warriors who trait defensively are supposed to be harder to take down.
You missed the point, adrenal health actually sucks on its own since its like 300 hp(at max adrenaline lvl) per 3sec not 1sec, but when they tick at the same time as HS wich would be like close to 700hp people just go berzerker “omg so muchhh heallll nerf nerfff HS” since they don’t realize sometimes they heal in pair(if you have full adrenaline wich is not 24/7)
oooo okies.
hmmmm would it be better if adrenal health ticks per second instead of per 3 seconds? or it is fine as it is now?
what if we moved it up a tier and increased the health gain a bit?
at the moment its
Healing.png Adrenaline level 1 healing: 125 (0.15)?
Healing.png Adrenaline level 2 healing: 240 (0.15)?
Healing.png Adrenaline level 3 healing: 360 (0.15)?
per 3 seconds
for 15 points in defensewhat if 25 points in defense is required and
heals per 1 second, not 3
level 1 40 + 0.10 HP
level 2 80 + 0.10 HP
level 3 120 + 0.10 HPbase value remains the same but doubled from healing power
Or how about leave it alone b/c it has some sustain for damage builds and 15 pts is reasonable for what it does. Your proposal will only do more damage than good and ruin several power specs
