its rare to see 4 maps in a que so no,OP its not going to be like this everyday or all day/night long.
A que for one night doesn’t mean a 24 hour que seven days a week people. Relax, let the excitement settle down see what happens in a week. This has been most fun wvw since HoT was released for me.
This is an area that has always frustrated me in GW2. I would be ok even if we went back to gw1 skill type of system. Place skill points into desired stat attribute with save template feature. Skill points could take the place of multiple armor in your inventory by just having default stats tied to it and use skill points to flesh out a build.
Is there a better way to do taxi for meta?

When I bought Hot i knew it wasn’t going to have more than 4 maps but i thought we were going to get ongoing content beyond LS 3 before the talks on next expansion started coming out of anets mouth. I was hoping anet could give us hint of whats left for HoT before next xpac.

I will pre-order next expansion if its Cantha for sure. But its its some undisclosed part of Tyria again I don’t know. I still feel HoT deserves more content for its price. So i’m waiting to see how much more living story 3 has and extras.
It was a cash grab. Mike O’ Brien defends the amount of content we got for it too,which is sad and scary. Four maps with a bunch of grindy achievements and gear and a story that takes about 4 hours to do.
There are alot of zerg leechers that park by south gate after the tag train is done.
I still can’t believe anet designed these map events that encourage running and tagging events and leaving for more rewards. Its been going on for awhile in drytop and silverwastes.
Just make meta instances where you talk to npc guy at a certain time and it zones you to a special event map with everyone else and the event begins in 10 minutes after it gets enough players inside. No more taxing crap and having people afk in a map long before an events going to take place. The event completes everyone gets a completion reward.
The 64 bit client works assuming you have computer specs for it and properly installed it.
I use to crash alot on 32bit and now maybe once or twice with 64 bit version.
They could have made precursor crafting easy and successful. What they did was make a mess out of. Precursor rng was the problem that could have been fixed in many ways. They traded godly luck for overly complicated crafting process.

You know i always thought waypointing to any of the major cities should be free from anywhere in the world. For the people that say that not good enough I would add one free waypoint in every zone maybe. I do think waypointing from say verdent brink to blazeridge steppes is little bit expensive.
I just use karma to buy free Ori tools now that my free winterdays gathering tools is just about to run out from a year ago lol . For me gem store tools are more pricey than I think they should be for a one per character. Imagine if outfits were like this.
A couple of weeks ago I was wondering why they haven’t added a leather rack for home instances like the clothe one and why they haven’t added clothe and leather higher tier rack yet too.
Since almost everyone knows we are gonna get big quarterly updates and we are already in spring we’ll prob get some news in around 2 weeks maybe?

Tangled Depths just needs better clarification on roads and which level they are on. A lot times you think theres a road that your going to get to by looking on the map and boom its above or below you.
I think all legendary items should have both; selectable stats like we do now and selectable sigils/runes built into them. This way anet doesn’t need to design legendary runes/sigils seperatly that would affect market drasticly. Just add another drop down menu on legendary gear.
Too many people don’t bother with Legendary gear because well its not worth it beyond the Flashy appearance. If there was another strong reason to invest into Legendary gear I think it would be great add on to GW2. After guild wars wants to be about unique builds through gear choices and having a convience such as selectable stats/runes/sigil would just be a lot of an incentive.
I did it awhile ago by taxing to a map. Look in lfg tab for people wanting to CC shatterer. Best way is if you have a glider to drop bombs on him as a large group. Theres Certain times that everyone should jump off the pad like 14:17, 12:17 and 9:50 (I think) the rest depends on how map DPS goes.
Karma gear lvl 80 exotic in Orr is also good for people with limited gold.

Cap is a good thing. I always thought anet screwed up the beginning of ap daily’s by having so too many ap points attainable in one day. To me it should have been like it is now.
Weakness and Vigor are too plentiful for such a timer to ever hope to be accurate or informative.
Theres already an option in menu to show your skills time when on cool downs from using them. Its really no diffrent.
I would rather have a color diffrence when your dodge is on CD like pale red (can’t dodge) verses dark red (able to dodge) or something.
I’ve no idea why it’s not just “player choice” dropdown boxes. Choose the number of prefixes, choose a major, choose two minors, the whole debacle is solved. I know, I know, RNG or “keeps you playing” or something.
Totally agree something like this would be great. I’m tired of having multiple gear sets taking up inventory. At least make it so our gear we soul bind can be made into a selectable stat menu. If guild wars 2 wants to have build diversity make it simple and convenient. Traits were made so we can change on the fly I was hoping gear stats, runes, and sigils would be eventually easy to swap in an out through some sorta unlock method. I consider transmutation charges even annoying (to a lesser degree but still) that I can’t just swap out gear that I have unlocked. although I have plenty. I’m hoping that since its 2016 we can get no brainer ideas that break the mmo mode of traditions.
Don’t forget that terrible jump pad that you use when the match start/respawns. That jump pad is annoying.
I agree the skills are overpowering especially that #1 power up skill, when 4 people a beaming you from across the room. Match rewards are non existent.

As a repeatable achievement, Toypocalypse should count for 1 in meta’s requirement. It doesnt count at all and that’s a bug.
I just finished Toypocalypse 15/15 and it didn’t count for my meta either. It was going to put me at 18/18 for the meta ap………. I hope I just din’t waste my time good grief.

Although Legendary is technically the top tier of what exists in game it does not have stats any better than Ascended. The only mechanical advantage that Legendary has over Ascended is stat swapping. Since stat swapping does not allow for free mod swapping this particular function is not as useful as it might seem.
All told this top tier is not really an increase over ascended in my opinion.
Until the next Legendary items are released someday such as Legendary runes and Sigils that are only able to be equipped in legendary gear.
anet needs to utilize the wallet far more than they do at the moment. Stop adding crap to this game forcing players to carry multiple copies across characters. Proof of heroics needs to be in the wallet, all HoT and SW and any future map that requires items tools to loot/open things need to be in the wallet!

Yes. But at 10 AP a day from doing your daily and the few you can get from doing this or that, 5000 AP takes a long, long time to get. After 3 years and 20 thousand plus AP, I’ve gotten 4 of those. Four in 3 years is not enough to to be really considered an inducement.
And getting a full set of both armors? That’s not even attainable after 3 years by the highest level AP players.

I’ve got 24,xxx ap points. I can’t believe after 3 years we are still in tyria. I thought for sure cantha xpac would have been released by now. I guess my point is it feels like anet is behind on making content and when daily ap’s became a thing they thought we would have been farther along. I just look back at gw1 and think in comparison how much more content was created in the same time span.

What is this key chain idea? Well its like a wardrobe and wallet. But a keychain would put all these items we need in our inventory to open chest etc. around tyria. It seems like every new map is adding a unique item to be able to open loot boxes and this trend is likely to continue. Everyone taking there characters through HoT has had this issue where you can open things up because well you ran out or forgot to grab your items from your other characters.
Between bag inception and newer items with HoT, inventory shrinks pretty fast. Having to carry 4 new loot keys on your character is taking up valuable space. One small QoL update and one large convenience to GW2 players.
Been crashing today and a connection error. When the game crashes it freezes up so I can’t send error report. I have the 64 bit version. plus there is a second of lag time too.
I’d like to see HoT tab in lfg tool to separate the expansion. A raid tab would also be nice too. Right now the open world tab gets pretty congested with all silver waste taxi’s, teq, triple trouble etc. With all new HoT maps with meta advertisments it would be much easier visually to sort things better.

The grind mentality is your problem, not Anet’s, after the change my alt’s specializations just came by doing normal content.
The crashes are tecnical problems that could or could not be Anet’s fault, most of the time it’s usually related to the user’s system.

I’d say take a break and keep watching for patches to improve on your list of grievances. Your not totally wrong there are issues.

My most hated thing about HoT as of right now is these group hero points. They should have been made account bound or solo. One or the other. I get it, we wanted challenging content but not like this. I don’t want to spend hours (accumulated) waiting around to get help with hero points. Then to go and do it over and over again.
I agree. I don’t like them being both green before and after. I guess the should make it blue or something like how the mastery points look when its completed.
It a;so would be really nice if hero point were labeled as group or solo. I hate finding my way to one on a confusing map location and its a champion spawn.

You would have thought they have learned this lesson from the NPE failure of gating traits behind events completion. Thank god that was removed.
If there were no buy orders everyone would have to use sell orders. Thus sell orders would be cheaper and more affordable to the masses. There are also people who probably accidently click to sell to buy orders accidently since it defaults there when you go to sell items.
We are talking about a video game with kids that aren’t even teenagers yet playing this game and have no real world of understanding. Flippers are literally taking candy from babies(young people and new players with no clue).
Are we talking about inflation as in an abundance of gold that people have with nothing to spend it on. So people have to flip/speculate and create demand artificially? Its like pickers and a pawn shop mentality here. You come in my shop I buy items from you for less money and sell it to a buyer who wants it. Most people I see in game aren’t complaining they have so much gold with nothing to spend it on. Yet I see this we are fighting inflation talk of dungeons ring and people like this are creating too much gold.
Item prices only go higher if anet wants it to. If there is abundance of supply the price remains low. Even speculators can’t help it. If some item is being rare and there is demand for it then that’s where gold is going to be taken out of the economy from all by itself. The game doesn’t need flippers at all. It needs anet to have better control of supply and demand. This game needs more merchants that sells things that are account bound as a gold sink. Theres already too much stuff that needs to be traded between players in order to get because its to cumbersome to farm in this game actual items. Money is just changing hands mostly with a small tax from TP. GW1 didn’t have a TP. It had merchants that sold materials and runes/ dyes and prices would go up and down depending on sales.
side thought, atleast increase luck from salvaging.
I’m basically annoyed by all the time-gated stuff in the game there should be a better solution for making these items hard/harder to get Time gating is not the solution its just an annoyance. Some people like me also have work and rather spend there free time on stuff they find fun and not waiting around to have my fun (i need more agony on different armor classes hence why i want to make more pieces)
I don’t think people are getting this, i think its quite stupid you have to do a very annoying work around which cost even more time ( I don’t feel like getting the bandit crest i’m a wvw roamer/pvper i don’t enjoy pve that much besides fractals and CoE).
I agree time gating is silly. Even the bloodlust/dragonite/emperyl/ eaters are time gated :s

That doesnt actually work that good because most supplies are held outside the tp in peoples mat storage and banks, not on the tp.
Even if you buy out all tp supply, it doesnt really add real demand for the item.
And by real demand i mean people buying it to destroy it (either through crafting, forging, account binding, etc). Now that player bought up all that stock from the tp and has to somehow sell it to people, while competing against all the stock that is stored outside the tp and undercutting him because other players want to take advantage of the inflated prices.Flippers dont really inflate prices because they usually dont consume stuff.
I guess its those players to blame that pay the high prices.
You have to flip certain items. RARER items that aren’t in abundant supply. That way your not competing with peoples banks and their horded supply that can undercut you.

Its the gold from running the dungeon that has people worried. The reward at the end that gives you the gold.
I hope they plan on adding new nodes to harvest with sickles. Like jute, cotton, linen etc……..
Set character modell limit to medium .. that helps mostly to avoid hitting
the magical 3.5 gb margin where the game crashes.Else .. if you don’t want to do that .. ask ANet to bring back “culling” .. that was
a mechanism that automatically had hidden character models if there were
too much around you, to avoid the problem .. however it was removed because
people complained about it.
I agree, If you have a decent machine do this. Set character model limit to medium or low so your not loading every high res armor set people have. instead it’ll load like 20 nearby people. High graphics can remain.
Culling was terrible in wvw. Invisible blobs would mow you down before seeing them.

GW1 observer mode was really great. You watch all the tournaments in the game and move camera where you wanted it not relying on a streamer to move around.

Stop hyping the e-sports nonsense (biggest GW2 tourney in their history couldn’t beat 1 streamer on runescape) and saying “most growing” – It won’t sustain the growth if you don’t give the PvP team better resources and support.It only had a growth due to influx from recent F2P players…. but they won’t stick around at all when they realize how little Anet has cared for PvP in the past 3 years….
Someone needs to tell Colin that daily’s done in sPvP doesn’t really mean people are pvping for competition.
Anyone that thought precursor/legendary crafting was gonna be easy or cheaper was/is delusional. Its gonna be a grind.
