Sorry guys, a tree fell on the house as I was playing, killed the power, and I just got back. I hope you all kicked me out and finished.
Sorry about that, you all a great group to run with, and hope to run with you again minus the tree hitting the power line.

Props to PK and Cedrick for coming to try to take it though, we just want a good fight, none of this drama kitten.

I suppose you don’t understand what a “joke” is… and social interaction is probably lost on you past this game, so I’m not going to explain it

anyway, I was just joking with mend because, like I said before, we worked with them closely and they’re our rivals so it’s not a big deal then this guy jumps on and goes berserk

I hope so.
I know I am laughing at you.
Top be honest, I was just waiting for you to come down off your high horse, never belong on one anyway. It was pretty painfully obvious that you were just posing when you posted this: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/FC-ET-SF/page/3#post1749922
So it was just a matter of time before the real you came through. It was a nice bit of puffery of total BS.
But really, your no better then I am. never have been, never will be. Always fun tho watching people trying to act like they are better then other people, at some point the mask comes off, because, that is all it ever was.
Anyway. Thanks for finally showing your true colors. You should wear them more often, as opposed to pretending to be something you’re not.

To Flappy, Good game so far. I know there is and will be a lot of drama about [mend] But you left, tis a pity that things did not get washed away with that passing.
To ET, Really, you people need to let this stuff go, and I would bet, it is at this point, the petty crap we are pulling on ET about Flappy and BC, that is what is killing our showing.
Really, brag some more to me about how much you all are owning [Mend] While we are crawling in.. in LAST place.

They were going to do this like 4 months ago and the community through a complete kitten-fit over it.
Not everyone, I know SFR was counting on it.
FC and ET were counting on it. but that was because of the gaps in rating, which have now been bandaid’ed. we were bored of blowouts with no end in sight cuz SF couldnt kitten us hard enough to gtfo, but could stomp both of us into the curb effortlessly.
without a real reason like that, theres no point to resetting just cuz some noobs are bored in their current matchup and wanna stomp some less populous servers.
As a person ET, I have to agree with this.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
3 weeks is a joke.
in T8 US, we were stuck in the most annoying Blowout match for 13 weeks where Sorrows Furnace would more then double the combined score of Eredon and Ferg, and during that time not only did I get my WvW completion, I did so on two toons.
The answer is fight, to assist, help, be there, be active. If you need a last Poi or Vista, be ready to fight for it, don’t just sit on your hands and expect others to pave the way for you.
Also, Anet is planing to do color rotation, so, we shall see how that goes.

You wouldn’t lose overlook nearly as often if you would stop pestering Stonemist with trebs and drawing attention to it either. Teamspeak that night was full of Lukian exclaiming “GO HOME ET, YOU’RE DRUNK!” “RECLAIM YOUR OWN BORDER FIRST THEN COME HERE DUDES” every time you guys popped up during the most random times and senselessly went into attack mode.
Yah. About that.
Trust me.. you all thinking that the one numbnut that was doing that should go home is mild compared to what we wish he would do.
Just saying

I am mostly apathetic about [Mend] Sorry for missing that drama train, I promise to miss the next one as well if I can.
Anyway, something to consider, just because a tactic was tacky, tasteless, in poor forum, and discouraging when used against you, does not mean it was an illegal or glitching move.
Anyway.
Good game everyone. It’s Monday, working stiff are away at.. being working stiffs of which I am one, and positing this on my lunch break:) See you all tonight.

3 weeks ago (week 14), T1 EU looked pretty balanced why the fuss now?
Anyway, Give it another week, you are only 20 Points from T2 as it is, and Deso is looking to lose another 10 points this week, if you put some effort into it you can drop faster, I mean 130K last week is you guys trying to earn some points there, and you are already at 51 this week which is a strong point gain for 2 days.

You can not get that many badges a day unless you are the luckiest person to ever play the game. You get badges from maybe 1 out of 10 things in wvw.
he claim is possible, but not from player killing alone, while I agree that badges from players is dismal at best, you can do pretty good if you can keep camp flipping up, getting around 1 badge a camp.. so he could have flipped 200 camps pretty easy in a day, if he just ran circles on them, but even then, lets say, 1 camp every 4 min (includes running from camp to camp) that would be 13 hours of straight camp flipping. And that’s doable with a good partner.
However, but necros vs a zerg? In my personal take on that, well, all the times I have seen that, they get pasted pretty quick.
Nothing against necros or anyone person, mind you, just my personal experiences.
Necros are great in zergs, but his claim is a bit much.
IN zergs ? They are great!
Solo or duo against Zergs? I haven’t seen that been too successful. Not saying they can’t be great, just haven’t seen it.

I’m glad for SF.
While winning is always nice, I imagine they will be happy when they reach a tier that has similar coverage and numbers. They’ll be able to test their skill better, and they do have it it’s not all about their #s, and see how they measure up.
The only thing I get tired of seeing is some of the folks from ET and FC clinging to the coattails of SF. Y’all are on your second new server since SF left. Earn your glory in your tier quit trying to ride SF’s glory as they earn their way up..
We will have a bond with ET/FC for a very long time…We came to a place of mutual respect, after a long bitter feud. Not to be over-dramatic, but it is something that only people who were in the glicko-ghetto’d T8 would ever really understand.
I have to agree with this. While It was a long and bitter feud, more then that was the fact that we were all trapped together, in many ways powerless and helpless to escape the prison we were all in, and because of that, we took it out on each other. Now that the walls have broken down, we get the chance to see each other in a new light, in a new way, and it changes the entire level of respect we had of each other over the course of the last 13 weeks, we battled bitterly and futility against not only each other but against a failed system that seems to have been fixed a bit.
Now SF is now moving as it should, and T8 is rotating worlds as it should. Life has turned around for us all, after a 13 week saga, and like it or not, we were part of a system, we had fallen though the cracks together into a pit of despair, a situation that no one outside of that will fully understand.
Peace and Respect to you all, SF and FC.

Not going to happen since transfers create money for Arenanet and limiting them to once per six months is effectively cutting off some of that income.
As long as players can buy the gems for gold, Anet stands to make 0 (Zero) monies off this problem.
I think Anet should make Transfers limited to a real cash purchase, I think that would be enough of a barrier to stop the problem. and if players still want to move, then at least it supports the game.
Everyone wins.

They were beating the everliving kitten out of Eredon and Ferg.

SF is not a lower pop server, if you want to get away from the 30 man zergs SF is not the place to go.
Quoted for Truth.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
Is PvD really that big an issue (In T8 if we tried that, it would be time to grab a snickers and maybe order pizza)

Honestly, people see 15 people down here and call it a zerg, for whatever that’s worth
.
“INCOMING!!” it’s 3 guys

in T8. The fight Dynamic is flowing. Some hours you have 10 people in the zone, all doing their own thing, other times we gather together and drop a 30 man zerg ball on someone.
It depends, because like any "small town kind of place, and T8 is very “Small Town” in the WvW arena, we all kinda know each other, that means popular commanders get more people to flock to them, while other commanders end up running solo to some camps.
As for group build up, it is normally a battle cry, or a call to act that gets a zerg or group going, otherwise, people will split off and do their own thing, camp cap, even dailies, etc, etc.
So, while it ebbs and flows on T8, it is very dynamic, you can be gathering berries out of boredom one moment and into a full scale war the next.

I can’t speak for anyone but myself, and I not going to even try. But I will say I wish [Agg] and all it’s members well on whatever server they move to.
I don’t know about the last week they were on, my only interaction with [Agg] on the field, was during their first week here, and even then, I was not with them, I was only involved in defending a tower they had taken. (my motive was purely to try to hold it long enough for my guild mates and friends to get their Poi and Vista, which I failed to do, but, then [Agg] took the tower the again while I was running back)
So honestly, I have no idea what it was like to run with them as a guild or any of that, so I will not speak on that matter, but, they were a small guild, even if they were skilled and worked together well, but because their time to play was limited, they really had minimal impact on our overall coverage, even if from what I have read on this forum, they made a massive impact into GoM and FC when they met on the field.
I hope them good fortune and that they find what they are looking for where they have moved to.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
its not about winning or losing… its about the fight.. since the days of AR and BP.. and SOR.. we are used to being overrun, stomped, and beaten back to our spawn. even yaks bend did the same thing.
as i have said, SF is a t6 or maybe even a t5 server. they have to get through DH to do that. i stil think GoM is a t7 server when new pve content isn’t going on.
i dont expect to beat SF i just want to fight them before they move up.
I do hope you get your wish then.
Game on.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
The next gen of mmo’s(end 2k13/2k14) will give the option for guilds to change the world
This has been done already. iirc with catastrophically bad results, as in the game got shut down.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
yeah.. im GoM.. was too lazy to make a sig but i did now. i remember when SF was tanking through the tiers and when you were in t7 ( dont know if you were with SF then ) GoM won those matches. eventually you dropped to t8 and of course kaineng steam rolled through the tiers killing the glicko system. more like a glitcho system after all that happened. since then SF has gotten much stronger and with a higher player base. of course the score would show you being t6 server ( possibly even t5 ) but i think alot of GoM would still love to match up with SF to test ourselves and for the hard fight.
While a noble goal, honestly, I don’t think you would fair much better then NSP or HoD at this point. IE: You would lose, and lose badly.
Not to be rude, but GoM is barely 50K above FC at this point (and SF used to easily double our combined score) not to mention that SF is cruising 60K above what was the first place server on the tier you were last place in.
So, in reality the outcome would be, You would be overrun, stomped, and beaten back to your spawn point on a daily basis, and only if you had a good night/very early morning coverage and a strong base of die hard players would you have any chance to do any bit of good.
But, like anything, I kinda hope you get your wish, would be nice to see if I am wrong or not.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
Transfers to a green team tier 8 server? Here we go again.
Meh. At least this time they have to pay for it.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
Lots of my friends quit because of the WXP system and tired of the game being so zerg focused. A lot will come back if ANET does something good.
I dunno know about you.. WXP has quite a few handy abilities that are anything but Zerg Friendly.
Case in Point:
Just look Guard Killer means nothing in a zerg, but couple that with Defense Against Guards, and suddenly that is real handy when you try to solo a camp
Also note: If you want to sty and solo the Quigg Camp, Nothing helps that along like * Mercenary Bane*
Supply capacity Mostly worthless in a large zerg that has no supply issues, but +5 Supply, means I can get things done with less people and thus helps the smaller groups.
Siege Might – Allows me to get into Keeps and Towers with less Siege Required, IE: Less Supply needed and thus small group friendly.
Just saying. Not everything is Zerg friendly as you all make it out to be. I liked the split they gave.
Some of it is very zerg friendly, some of it really favors the small group.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
Hello.
Wherever did you get the notion that GW2 was not primary PvE.
If you look at WvW, it really is rather “side line” kind of thing, some little offshoot of the main game were people can have some fun playing a bit of “Full Scale Battle”
If you were looking for 5v5, or even 1v1, then WvW is not the ideal domain for that. If you were big on rank and ability to kill another player, there is a whole system in place called sPvP for that, it fits the bill of tight maps, lots of ways to move around, small groups, and all that. Even ranking systems, alt leveling systems, gear, items, all the works for the smaller based player groups that want to test their skill on small battles and tight team fights.
Also. If your WvW is not what you want, maybe it’s the server. Some servers and tiers are only fielding 20 players on an entire map, much less a zerg of all of them.
So, like anything, this game is what you make of it, where you are, and what you are are doing.
So as opposed to trying (and failing) to demand Anet cater to make the game as you want it, maybe you should go off and find what you want from the game, as, what you want already exists.

Did Eredon Terrace really forget the eleven consecutive weeks in which we drove them into the mud of 24th place while we held out against constant SF attacks? Back then, people didn’t rush to make a bunch of excuses for ET, it just did its thing. And it struck at us and reversed the situation when we showed weakness, so the feeling’s mutual.
Wouldn’t that have been 8 weeks as the last 3 weeks FC was 24th.

I am about to have a permanent shelf to hold the soap if FC continues to keep kicking ET’s butt like this.
Not sure what that means, but yeah we tend to get beat up. I think it’s due to numbers. Every time we get outnumbered. FC tends to be 4-5 to one. And GoM is Legion.
it’s a joke.. kitten kicked soo hard it left a permanent indent.. bah never mind.

I hate to say it, but this has “bad idea” written all over it. It punishes the pug, and alienates the casual WvW player, which is not what Anet wants with the WvW scene.
WvW is what it is like, because it lets anyone hop on a BL and follow a commander. That is a good thing in the sense that it gives community.
Making WvW more exclusive – No thanks.
In warhammer….someone almost always had a public warband up. I’m sure this wouldn’t change in GW2 either…. there is a need for a public Squads and there would always be one running IMO.. I think the point the OP is making, and which I agree with, is the complete lack of tools to organize for anything else BUT a zerg.
I’m not going to tell anyone else how to play or organize their guild or friends in GW2, but the lack of options basically forces us to follow one inflexible system. Organizing and grouping in GW2 should be easy and fit ALL peoples playstyles.
Serious upgrades are needed with the current tools for GW2.
Hummm, why did you remove this from your quoted part?
The idea of more tools for Commanders – Yes Please
As it seems we agree.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
I believe to answer this question, you first must ask: What is the point of even Playing a Game.
Why do we play?
For fun, to pass the time, to do whatever.
So like the many aspects of GW2, WvW is simply one facet that people find fun, they do it because they enjoy doing it, not because WvW has a definitive purpose or need.
So. Like anything, Play the way you enjoy, and have some fun.
Born and Raised in Eredon Terrace
What in the WORLD are you talking about? Warbands are open joining… You are COMPLETELY missing the point. Contrarily to your belief, not all gamers are stupid (like you think of them to be…)
Pubbies are NOT idiots. They WILL join a warband, recognize its role and fulfill their task. What part of “other games have done so, and pubbies have loved it” is not understandable?
This idea will help the commander organize his zerg.
This idea also help those who want to detach from the zerg.Because SOME people like zerging, everyone else should be punished?
WoW. Anger Issues much? Well, to be blunt, I find your post hostile and insulting.
I never I said anyone was stupid, that is you just making up lies to support your lame pillaged idea that you thought worked great in “some other game” and mistakenly believe it will work everywhere!
Come up with your own idea next time, and stop trying to force people to play the way you want to. Entitled Much?
In short, like it or not, your idea is bad. In the sense that It’s convoluted and won’t be helpful.
What Anet needs to do. Is make The Current Commander Tools into a Graphic User Interface, as opposed to a Command Line prompt.
They have the foundation set, they just need to follow through and finish it off, That would really help the game along far more then trying to re-invent this warband idea.
They should also make it so the Tag can have display options, like: Guild/Public/Off.

To do:
Remove the commander icon, both from the map and from over the head.
Replace it with the ability to start a warband; a group of 20 people.
Replace squad system with warband system; tone down size from 100 to 20.
Make it so you can see everyone’s HP bars, and amount of supply they have.
ONLY indicate, on the map, the location of your warband members, or warband leader.
No indication of map of where the other commanders actually are on the map.
Keep the Warband chat and Join Warband command; formerly squad system.—
Consequences:
Promote organization. If a server can communicate well and stay cohesive, they should be rewarded. With the current system, it’s too easy to zerg up. Zerging, post-warband system, would still be present, but it would actually take coordination throughout map chat, warband leaders working together and players following the warband-leader to actually achieve a critically-massed zerg. This system rewards zerging by making it an achievement, rather than its simplistic form with the current commander icon system.
If the zerg were to be broken, it would take time for the warband leaders to organize up again. This all contributes to the idea that the larder the mass of people, the harder it is for them to stay cohesive and organized. The ability to do so is rewarded, since that zerg will be near unstoppable. The difference with the current system being.. the current system makes it EASIER to stay cohesive as a large mass of players by painting a huge icon on the map, and over the commander’s head. That is the root of the problem.
Rewards spreading out by making it easier for warband leaders to do so. People would be given the tools, and thus the incentive, to follow your WARBAND leader only. Leaders may choose to stick together as a zerg, or to spread out. Either way, the players are given the tools to follow their warband leader only.
From an individual point of view, it’s much easier to feel part of the group when you’re in a party of 5, included in a warband of 20, rather than simply following an icon in a solo party.
Removing the tag from the map makes it harder for zergs to regroup without communicating.
Removing the tag from the head makes it harder for zergs to stay tight and organized in the field, without further communication; as it should be.
This system REWARDS organized zerging, by making it harder. A server would be able to prove itself by its ability to keep its zerg cohesive, despite under overwhelming numbers. With the current system, zerging up in an organized manner is so easy that well.. it makes the game boring.
Basically:
Make it HARDER for the zergs to regroup by removing the commander icon from the map. This rewards better organization and communication.
SPREAD out the amount of action throughout the map. Warbands will regroup well within itself; members will find each other easily, but not with the main zerg.
More CONTROL for the commanders of the warband; allowing them to see 20 people’s HP is good.
Needing to join a Warband, With no icon to select I might add, or even a means to know what Warbands are open on the field is really bad for the pug or person just starting to play and makes WvW more exclusive then inclusive, which is a major flaw of your entire premise.By making to harder to group up with your server mates is not conductive to getting new people to play the WvW aspect of the game.
While I agree more tools should be open to commanders to help them control/organize/and lead their “zerg” are needed, the idea that you have put out is to makes it punitive to play WvW for the fun, and that is not a step in the right direction for any game by anyone.
The idea of more tools for Commanders – Yes Please
Making WvW more exclusive – No thanks.

Hence the whole reason i made the video, whether or not ET wants to admit it they zerg, which people have adamantly denied, and that AGG is the reason for ET winning, also people have denied. Is to be expected though when a top tier guild decides to go all the way to the bottom. Id compare you to the yankees playing in the minor leagues but their season so far…ouch, would probably help if they did go down to the minors.
Hello Sororita. Welcome to T8. Yah, have not posted all last week, long story about that, lest say, it was something that had been simmering for a few months. LOL
Anyway. If it makes you feel better.
My Name is Ungood, also known as Unwood, I play on the Eredon Terrace Server and I Zerg.
In fact I very well may be addicted to the idea of Zerging. Every time I enter WvW I get excited by the prospect of running in a large group of my server mates, as we move around, capping points, defending points, getting into fights and all manner debauchery during the day and night.
I love the idea that of having enough people together so we can carry enough supply in one run to drop siege at a Keep Gate and still have enough people with supply left to drop more siege at the Inner Gate (I didn’t always used to be like that, this is a new thing for us and I am loving it)
Well there you have it, at least one person on ET admits to zerging and enjoying it.
I’ll see you on the field, if you can pick me out of the zerg ball

@ ET commanders.
Despite seemingly having the lowest WvW population of the 3 servers GoM are night capping, taking over the map while there aren’t many ET or FC online to defend, we need to come up with a counter strategy to this if possible, as all our peak time effort is being overshadowed by a small GoM force late at night.
Please note this is not a kitten complaint about this tactic, just a shout out to our people that we need to counter it. I don’t mean this as an insult to GoM.
