Just gonna let you read that again and see if it sinks in… The confirmation of server side skill lag is the following speed boost all attacks get once the cause of the lag has been removed. When me and everybody beside me can staff auto on an ele 5 times a second it validates my claims.

I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that…

SoR Vs. BG isn’t normally laggy. Since Mag only seems to play on two maps, lag is non-existent for most of us.

I used to try to convince myself that my Ranger was useful. But I’ve stopped lying to myself now. Not happy about it, I had fun on my Ranger – until I leveled my Ele to 80 and realized she can do everything I used to do on my Ranger way better plus a lot more. (Not talking about 1 v 1 or roaming so don’t bother posting about that.)

One big problem with Rangers is they have to use their Utility Skills to actually do something useful. With other classes, their actual weapon skills are useful enough so that they can use their Utility Skills for… well, utility.

Basically. I think most people who say Ranger is the most useless are people who rolled one and were completely disappointed.

Like most people I run survivability builds during zerg encounters. No PVT, actually. I use Boon Duration. When I feel like roaming I switch to ’Zerker.

Do you bang your head against a wall and die with ’Zerker gear and damage skills during sieges? I ask, but given your post history, the answer is obviously yes.

You seemingly can’t fathom people switch gear, skills and traits when they play WvW. I know it’s a hard concept.

Oh, and you should visit SoR BL once in a while. Mag’s almost always absent from there and the SoR vs BG fights are lag free. The only times I experience skill lag is when all three servers are present, which is rarely. Oh yes, your sever blobs too… Whodathunk.

Again, my apologies for remembering that in Tier 1 you can’t cast utilities, so boon stripping doesn’t actually exist. But in a perfect world without skill lag I would still be putting too much faith in groups to have reliable necros and mesmers for boon stripping. There are many dynamics to a team that come together to form a killing machine.

On a slightly related note, I absolutely loathe the 2 – 3 second invulnerability people get when you down them. Such a waste.

I don’t really see the point. Boons aren’t really boons if both sides have them. If your side isn’t buffing, then that’s your problem.

Another thing is that this doesn’t affect sPvP as much, so ANet will probably never enact a change.

Someone’s a bad Guardian, lol…

Anyway, Guardian can do both, easy. Roll some Valkyrie gear and pull out a staff for Zergs. Easy tagging/lots of survivability. If you trait for it the symbols are even better for tagging.

Then switch to whatever solo build you want. I think the biggest Guardian weakness is speed/lack of escapes. But if you’re in for the fights, and won’t mistform/stealth away and reset, you’re probably all right.

Why would that be relative when a single ele properly geared can drop meteors for 12k each on a single area per strike, especially when you get multiple doing it? You can wear all the pvt in the world, but you’re probably still going to die.

I hope you know you’d still lose to T1 servers even with a 25% less max capacity. T1 servers win because they cap while you’re sleeping, not because they field 25% more players than you during prime.

ANet won’t do anything, probably, about T1 servers. Otherwise they’d be admitting they ignored thousands of posts months before leagues predicting this would happen. And that they really have zero understanding of how their game works.

When you enter queue, you get put into randomly into a zone that’s either a giant underwater sPvP match, and winner goes in… OR Mad King’s clock tower. And you can go in when you finish.

A combination of OT and the 2v1 of JQ left us in first place. Something that, prior to the transfer of ZDs, SoR admitted to not caring about because your server mates agreed that BG would lose all 1v1’s with BG.

No, the 13 out of 14 wins BG had over SoR didn’t change. BG was still clearly the dominant server.

Sorry but SoR winning 1 match out of 14 and having higher ppt for 3 ticks on one day does not make them the dominant server.

BG did not have a mass exodus of players that one week. They just didn’t show up because they didn’t care about the last match. It had no bearing on anything.

Do people not realize graphics can be changed client-side? There should be an option across all game modes to remove the Aegis effect and it will only affect your screen. That said, the option everyone wants is for the Aegis to be removed from your toon only, probably.
