There is a lot of content but most of it is “junk” content and has no actually bearing on the game. And let’s not forget that they had a playable version of gw2 almost 3 years before release so they had a lot of time to work out the bugs. Gw2 is a well made game it just isn’t made to play 40+ hrs a week
The biggest thing is server lag. It either takes a lot of time to rewrite how the game transmits that data or
hahave to upgrade the servers/upload speed which ever happens to be the bottle neck which cost money. Time frames can be shorted by hiring more people but that cost money. The blame doesn’t fall on the game design team but on whoever sets the budget. More the point I’m trying to relay is that free to play games lack the steady income that monthly pay games have. That money does 2 things. It allows the game to spend more (generally) and it hold the companies more accountable for what they do or don’t do with the game play. You also seem to think this is lall about bashing anet which it isn’t. Anet is used more as an exampl. And as I said I’m blaming the gaming community as well for its growing resent of monthly pay games
I’ll start by saying that I’m very disappointed with anet for the mess they made of wvw. But when I sit down and think about it I can’t place all the blame on anet. Sure they don’tlisten to most of what we say but why would they? Anet is company and companiesneed to make money. Ok so anet probably does listen to what we say but its just that it either isn’t practical or will cost to much. So where does the rest of the blame fall for all this? It fall on the gaming community. Yep that right, the very people that play the game and complain about it are why they can’t get what they want. So I bet most of you are thinking " how are we to blame" well its because people are so unwilling to play monthly pay games that companies need to make free to play games. Free to play games need to keep cost down as much as possible giving a lower quality game. Now I will give anet some credit here. The game itself is not low quality and it is actually a good game ..for the more casual player. I guess its not really a bad game for the hardcore player either. It’s just not one most people are gonna sink months worth of gametime into. So anet is “greedy” and just want Ur money, but that’s business. If people were willing to pay monthly then we could get all the stuff we want, well most of it. So next time you are flaming anet or any game maker for that mater just remember that you are to blame for the mess these games have become

I have alway felt that if they had not split servers into na and eu then night capping would not be near as much of an issue
In my experience warriors and thieves are the same speed in cross map travel
Regardless of reason for the post, it does often feel that anet doesn’t think of wvw when they do skill nerf/buffs
I’ve said this so many times but no one listens. There need to be a tangible reward for wvw that is based on points scored in relationship with how many players a server fields in wvw compared to the other 2 servers
Wvw would require a more skill in large groups if not for lag. When skill lag kicks in its all about numbers
I don’t play wvw much anymore because anet has made it apparent they don’t care about the hardcore wvw players. Or most any hardcore play for that matter. The thing I use to hate about upleveled toons was when the map was full and I would have 20+ level 80 with lots of experience trying to ge into a map. It would hurt our server performance because the best players , accounting for skill, knowledge and gear, could not get in to help
I think SM is fine. They need to expand the thirds outward, and balance them though. Inner towers should be able to treb SMC, but the fact that OL is the only keep which can treb it just just bloody stupid. Honestly the entire Red third is just mindlessly designed. It really doesn’t fit with the design/layout of the other thirds, and tends to be horribly unbalanced as a result.
EBG just needs a general overhaul in the “balance” category.
It’s not supposed to be balanced. Red is supposed to be for the 3rd place server in a tier and their end of the map is designed to give then an advantage to off set the fact that the other 2 servers are most likely better. Blue is supposed to be better than green which I think it is just a hair but that debatable.
If the reward was good enough and people were givin one or maybe 2 free transfers it would also balance the servers out a lot better
The rewards should be based on points scored and place finished for a serve. The reward would be give to people active in wvw with a + bonus based on the servers wvw activity. If a server has very low wvw activity the bonus would be very high. If a server had high wvw activity they might not get any bonus. This would reward server reward server with more skill.
AG use to be huge. Don’t know how big it is now.
Wvw has by far the worse server side lag I have ever seen from a game
Doesn’t even have to be all in one spot. If the map is full and there r a lot of small battles it can still cause skill lag
I play euro and have no lag issues. Well no worse than the euro players
While anet will most likely adjust it a bit I doubt there will be any big change as the majority of people in gw2 seem to like it better this way.
First off gw1 had a big gvg following so adding would pull some of them back. Other than pulling a few people out of wvw I don’t see how against could be against this. It would be an additional area that would have no effect on anyone’s game play.
Everyone should have know this would happen. While I have a lack of faith in anet even they would have foreseen this. But it what the people wanted.
I am very disappointed this has happened. Such an obvious error, not limiting the randomness of matchups. I honestly don’t expect anet to do anything right in WvW anymore.

People seam to forget that there r guild groups that can be in the 30-40 range that r very coordinated.
Not much reward for support . Even Ur allies don’t seam to be grateful most of the time
Everyone should have know this would happen. While I have a lack of faith in anet even they would have foreseen this. But it what the people wanted.
I made a system a while back that would provide incentive to win as well as incentive to even out wvw populations for servers but know one seemed to care one way or the other
I have had skill lag in tier 5 so over half the servers can experience it.
If u had a large number of factions and a way to reward players based on population of active population it would balance itself out.
Maps r too small for something like this in my opinion
A big reason for removing the orbs was hacker stealing them. If they do bring them back the orbs shouldn’t give any stat bonus but instead give a point bonus
A reward system based on points and population is really the only way to fairly balance populations. If a underman force is able to hold it own Faust a server twice its size it should get a greater reward
I use to loose 5-10g a week in wvw even with drops.

I find it amusing that in every other aspec of every game that people want balance. But in wvw matches where they r for the most part balance everyone complain about being stale. When it comes to wvw u can’t have balanced matches and non repetitive matches unless all severs r equal which is impossible for anet to do. Only the players can balance servers
Valik. More maps doesn’t mean lower cap. They can cover 1 map, another guild on another, etc. Either way it’ll be smaller zergs on many maps or a massive one remaining on 1 map, owning it, but losing it all on the others unless small groups play those. I see no downfall in making several more maps, and I welcome any legitimate arguments
Problem come that once u factor in pugs it hard for a large guild to play together unless u leave the map population the same wich then u have the problem of not enough coverage
Problem with lower cap is it can be tough for a large guild to play together. Also it make capping a keep much more difficult if not impossible. U give me 12-15 people on the right siege in garrison and a 60 man force will have a very hard time getting in
If maps were bigger it would make it harder for a one large group to cover the whole map while still allowing a bunch of small groups to group up to take a tough objective

Its definitely SEA, NNK is a big SEA guild.
It was dragonbrand but this was a while ago. I use to command on yak’s in eternal and u could see nothing but DB after 3am est till about 10am. But doesn’t really matter I guess as it seems to have changed.
Ps this was back when DB was flipping between tier 4 and 5

I have found that u don’t need to be on a low tier server to be able to run small group u just need to play during the off hrs. I’m NA but play euro and I have no problems roaming.

If the changed the agro so pulling on NPC in a camp pulled everything it would make it much harder to take for a 2 or 3 man group on a fully upgraded camp
Most of the good commanders don’t even bother trying to command anymore because they get flamed and or ignored

I have a fx8150 8 core and gw2 never makes any of my cores go to 100%. I have played rift which does max out a single core and makes my gpu drop to around 50%. Idk if its just my processor handles gw2 well or what but my bottle neck is definitely in my gpu. 7850 graphics card at 25% oc
Skill lag was around before cullin was removed
Take a upper mid graphics card or better to run wvw on high setting. Same with CPU. Best graphics card is useless if CPU is bottle necked
Jp has no place in wvw
don’t have one. i have an ele, warrior, gaurdian and necro i play in wvw. i will say that i like the ele the least of them all but still enjoy it from time to time. i have 10 builds between those 4 so i im never really locked into a certain play style. which i enjoy
