+20% magic find when you have 200-300% already doesn’t really increase it much in terms of % growth. My account gold find is around 75% so add 20% to that and I’m at 95%. The percentage of growth is higher.

In Nightmare fractal challenge mote Power can solo one of the Echoes when facing Siax with around half the time left to assist others. I can’t speak for Condi, but I’ll assume it can probably a lot easier. I use that as an example because it’s really the only place DPS matters in terms of content completion regarding Fractals.

ANet is listening to their players. The players voted for duo queue only. It isn’t ANets fault players voted how they voted.
Anet is not really listening. Players demanded a solo queue. So anet made a poll. But solo queue was not even an option in the poll – it was duo queue or nothing.
I think duo queue produces one sited matches just as it was before with premade teams. When player with very different skill level queue together a system based on individual MMR just fails.
Next poll was about locking classes. Player said no. But there is no reason why the match maker still creates teams with stacked classes. Even if player have the freedom to switch to any class a matchmaker should not create class stacks as starting team composition.
What’s wrong with multiple professions on a team though?
Show me stastistics where having 3+ of one profession makes your matches more or less favorable. Matches where it’s happened for me have gone either way, winning sometimes and losing sometimes, BUT It would be a scapegoat to claim I won/lost (mostly lost) due to multiple professions on a team impacted the match more than the opposing players just being better.
There is NOTHING innately wrong with a full team of one/two professions, you will win or lose based on player skill. If you think otherwise, you are probably not as skilled as you think you are and just need to blame something due to your inability to accept there just might be better players than you.

Condition duration sigils are great, something in there is useful for everyone.
Sigil of Nullification has an 18 second cooldown so you cannot have one on each weapon set and constantly remove two boons every 10 seconds.
Sigil of Agility, pick one or the other, Super Speed or 3 seconds of Quickness, and that seems fair.

A niche sigil like this one shouldn’t even be introduced to the game, and no I’m not a thief main.
If Arena net feels like stealth is such an issue then maybe you should just tone down stealth duration potential and compensate the thief class in other areas. Introducing a sigil that doesn’t have a use vs every class is dumb.
It works on over half.
Engineer, Thief, Ranger, Guardian and Mesmer all have access to stealth. Of those some is more readily available than others, but those professions DO have stealth access. How often will you do a match against a team consisting of only Warrior, Revenant, Elementalist and Necromancer? With one of those being duplicated.
So theoretically it can have use in 100% of every match you play.

Actually you didn’t. There are no barriers preventing one team from walking straight to Lord. Sure, doing so was suicide due to the other team, but there was technically zero obligation to fight. I’ve done GvG where all we did was Lord rush as touch rangers and won that way. Zero pvp combat at all.

i was replying to the poster above who thinks Stronghold is PVE. I think Conquest is good, and stronghold offers a change of pace and strategy.
Stronghold is PvE though? Don’t get me wrong, you can PvP in the mode but it’s centric focus is killing NPCs.

I find condi necro pretty boring
This is because you might have been playing it wrong. Once you team up with only condi damage dealers and at least 2 more necros you’ll see that Epi bounce (well executed) is one of the coolest mechanics that makes you just wipe through FotM. Viper Necros might not be the highest damage output but they’re extremely functional in the right parties and rarely go get downed, even at higher level fractals.

Power necros are underlooked. We all want them to be a thing but that’s the reality even with the GS buff. If you show up to a 100 CM pug there’s a 90% chance people will ask you to swap or vote kick you (can happen different if you’re running with guildies and/or friends).
I have never been kicked for it. I have the title and potions so beyond that people don’t care what you bring in my experiences.

I have been using power necro even before Heart of Thorns, and in high Fractals it goes prety well. I haven’t done CM 100 Since the changes to Greatsword but I would assume it probably go better than before.

I’m just going to assume you’re complaining from a PvP/WvW/Raids perspective. Necro isn’t nearly as bad as Revenant at the moment but kids will be kids it seems. The class is fine, it needs some tweaks but it’s not anywhere near as bad as you’re claiming it to be. Necromancer as a class in ANY MMO is never meant to deal damage equal to that of Assassins or ‘Warriors’. Necromancers are about self-survivability and is usually the best class for soloers.
The reason why they don’t answer anything in forums anymore is because of EXACTLY how you’re acting right now. Kids constantly whine and complain to them because their ‘favorite’ class isn’t OP or God Tier. Coming from someone whose class has always been Necro throughout EVERY MMO I’ve played, ANET is doing Necro correctly. It’s weak, needs some tweaks, but it’s how Necro should be at its core. If you don’t like it, find a new class. It’s funny how the good players can still make the most out of what we’ve got, meanwhile there’s players like you who just whine, throw a tantrum, and leaves because you can’t make the most out of what we’ve got. That’s what differentiates a good Necro/Reaper from a bad one: adaptability.
Don’t go formulating your complaints off of ‘top tier’ stuff either, that’s a small percentage of the game. Reapers are still decent picks in Fractals, where I’m told yields more rewards than Raids anyways.
Clearly you’re still new to the game, GS got a nice buff in plenty of areas. Not what the general public wants, but the buffs do make a difference in GS whether you see it or not.
Finally, they will not remove Necro. It’s a core Profession, if they temporarily remove any Profession it will most likely be Revenant since it’s far more buggy, clunky and generally unfinished compared to Necro. So please, stop embarrassing yourself and take a seat. Throwing a fit won’t solve anything, it’s just unwanted drama that should remain back in High School.

I haven’t had problems personally, but I’m also selective about what groups I prefer to join, but I think it’s best to go with my friends, even though they’re 100% inexperienced.

While I sometimes see multiple professions in one team in games, I cannot think of a time that the match was won or lost because of that. I’m willing to say 99% of my matches are due to the better team winning, more than the composition being important.

Why does it matter? If you want to play a necro bit the group doesn’t let you… Why join that group? There is no content that cannot be done just because a necro is in the group. The time difference between having one and bringing something with a “higher DPS benchmark” is at best, a few seconds, from what I’ve seen with first-hand experience.

In pvp change Life force to 25%. Start of match especially.
I think the F1 cool down should be longer… Essentially every 10 seconds a well timed F1 becomes a full heal, or it has the power to be. Or make it consume an additional 1% Life force for every 2% max health healed… So that of it DOES fully heal, it’s at the cost of one’s entire life force.

To be clear, I don’t agree with the OP. Yet, if you can’t land this skill that is entirely on you. Just like other skills with long cast times, people are just generally terrible at this game and don’t use abilities to their max potential. I don’t see how people miss this.
I was exaggerating a bit, however I have the mechanical skill of a monkey, that’s partly why. What happens a lot is I’ll receive a random blind from my Plague Signet as the channel is finishing, causing a miss. That’s the biggest issue in my experience.

80% of the LFGs I see are just listed with the numbers. I do on occasion see “t4 condi”, but I just don’t join those, one of the problems of only having one character able to do Fractals that high. I’m out of touch with what is meta, usually because I just play the best way I can, and don’t care about how we complete content… So long as it’s completed

I love Fractal loot. Almost every set of chests from a T4 fractal I have one ascended piece of equipment. Usually a ring but I have 4/6 different armor chests of various stats from in the past two weeks.

I finally found something that suits me that “counters” what I face a lot of currently. By counter I mean using something people don’t expect to face. It isn’t perfect, but it has worked wonders for me since the theorycraft.

I use a custom build. But I’m no expert. Since changing to it I’ve had close to a 75% win/loss. I have never logged in to metabattle so I don’t know what exists there. I think helping players learning basics is important, but let them discover their own style of play on their own.
