You should read the books and read between the lines of their dialogues! (my answer to everything)

I read the first two books. And I know she still has feelings toward Faolain, but considering she was betraying her and was willing to kill an innocent woman she still could have at least defended Wynne againts Foalain, telling her to back off.

I hope it will be a traditional expansion. But considering they were talking about a ‘new framework’ they are probably going all ‘innovative’ on it..

It’s not an episode. They wouldn’t trademark an episode and make a big announcement for it at PAX.

What I imagine is a C’thun. If you didn’t play World of Warcraft just prior to Burning Crusade this really was quite a lot of fun. There was an instance called AQ 40. During the instance individual party members (there were 40 max) would be start to hear voices. Here’s a clip of that:

So imagine hearing that and no one else in your party of some 40 people would. It really disturbed people. It was wonderful. This was also the boss called the “Guild Breaker” for awhile. It was so difficult many of the bests guilds on servers simply became so upset with one another entire raiding guilds would collapse from the internal strife that emerged in attempts to simply survive the encounter.

What I imagine would be something like Sylvari players will be occasionally messaged with, “You’re going to die,” or “Pain is the natural course of life.” Things that really challenge any acceptable reality, but leave the character wondering about themselves and their own sanity in deep personal ways.

The fact the Pale Tree can keep Sylvari from Mordremoth’s control is probably why Mordremoth’s forces attacked it in the first place.

SPOILERS If you haven’t finished the latest episode yet, stop reading, there be spoilers ahead.

During the end cinematic of the latest episode, we can see a lot of sylvari going completely crazy and attack the pact. Including lionguard and pact members.
This is shown once again in the cinematic that follows immediately after.

Now I wonder if this will affect our Sylvari player characters. And if so, how?
While I doubt our Sylvari PC’s would go crazy and join Mordremoth, I really hope there will be at least some effects. Maybe hearing soft whispers from time to time or some graphical effects on the edge of the screen. Or simply being treated differently, like we saw happening to Canach.

I hope that there is at least something. It would be weird and disappointing if our player characters (and caithe/trahearne) are completely free of corruption for no reason other than plot convenience.

Where exactly is this Mordrem Vinewrath. Atm all I know is that it’s tied to the Breach event in The Silverwastes. But I don’t know how, when or where it spawns.

Can anyone give me an exact rundown as to where and when I am supposed to kill this beast?

I tried searching the wiki and asking in map chat but no one could (or bothered) to tell me exactly when and, most importantly, where this beast shows up.

Got 46 charaters who all vote no to increase the level cap, all looking at their wallet in panic.
Bad enough when patches makes some runes/sigils worthless and lots of them have to go and get new runes/sigils again.

Appart from that i dont see the need, since you need to redesign the traits to match the new levels and tons of other things need to be reworked to work with the level increase. Better if they focus on fixing some of the many bugs instead of making new bugs with useless level increase.

Well, no. It’s just us getting our hopes up. They didn’t say anything to us, just deposed a trademark.

And the response that followed was easy to predict. Wouldn’t be the first time a lot of people got hyped over a trademark. And I don’t blame them, many people are probably craving for an expansion, I know I am.

But I don’t want to hype over something that may not happen at all. Registering a trademark doesn’t stay a secret forever. If there isn’t going to be an expansion it’s easy to just make a simple forum post saying there won’t be one. PAX has been sold out for months so it’s not like they will loose any money because of it.

For me, personally, It’s really saddening that they’re still continuing ignoring Elona and Cantha, but, I’d be more than glad to be wrong if that turns out to be wrong with this supposed expansion.
Really, what about Tengu, Palawa Joko, The Empire Of Dragon, Sunspear? Why do we need all these new stories? Why can’t we just expand of what we already built in GW1?

I suspect this is only the 1st of several expansions and I’m sure at some point it will be redirected towards Cantha, they know how popular it would be.

China is against Cantha, as far as we are lastly updated about the situation. Anet will probably not release an expansion if it can’t be bought by all of its’ costumers. In this case, Cantha will simply not make it to the chinese version.

What I wonder is why anet gives a kitten . Blizzard creates an asian style expansion, arenanet did create an asian style expansion for gw1 and there are many asian styled mmo’s out there. Seriously, why do they suddenly care so much while no one else does.

Cantha is part of the Guild Wars universe wether china wants it or not, they just have to deal with it.

If it turns out this is just a bundle of episodes there is probably going to be a major backlash in this already expansion craving community.

Stuff will never live up to the community’s expectations seeing as the community’s expectations are not really plausible.

It’s been over 2 years and we still haven’t killed the second Elder Dragon yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if we kill our last ED by 2038..

Reminds me of what Harry said to Ron when the latter complained about the pace of finding horcruxes.

The dragons have been around for, in some case, centuries. I don’t know that they’re going to be simply run down like a checklist.

Gameplay – Story segration. Some things in a story have to be shortened for the sake of gameplay.

A good example of this is Dragon Age Origins, every once in a while the world is attacked by Darkspawn, it’s called a blight. Blights usually last many years, the first one lasted centuries. Though the blight that occured in Dragon Age Origins lasted less than one year, and the game was awesome. It was either that or making a game that lasts dozens if not hundreds of years…

Besides we already killed one. Which went really fast. Sure it took a long time before the pact was formed but ever since it’s formation killing an Elder Dragon doesn’t seem like that much of a monumental task anymore. Hell we could have killed 2 elder dragons already if Logan hadn’t bolted to save his would-be girlfriend. That dragon could have been killed by just 6 people and Right now we have a gigantic advanced army of seasoned dragon slayers, complete with airship fleet and the people who almost killed an elder dragon singlehandedly (minus snaff, grenth rest his soul).
