No because that would require actual expansion content.
A new race would mean:
*New personal story up to lvl 30.
*New capital
*New starter zone
*New cultural armor/weapons
*New racial skills
Yea I don’t see this happening on july 1st.

“Can’t want to not play” I had to read that several times over before I understood what it actually meant.

This is priceless

If they are going to be nerfed, keep the nerf in PvP please. Conditions already suck enough in PvE.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Guild Wars 1 delivered much better/more content, and Arenanet made a lot less money with it. So that proves it right there.
I’m sure the gemstore makes anet a lot more money than the expansion pack model gw1 had.
~Sincerely, Scissors
No – there is a reason that is done.
And I sincerely believe those reasons are, in most cases, inadequate.
If it’s an item that can be exploited without soulbound then it should indeed stay soulbound, but everything else should become account bound.
~Sincerely, Scissors
At the very least there is no reason for any gear (weapons/armor/trinkets) to be soulbound.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Largos. They would have great customization with their wings/fins Not interested in non-humanoid races.

No – there is a reason that is done.
And it’s a stupid one.

(edited by Moderator)
So basically the Asura went for Magitech, teleportation systems, lasers and golems.
The Charr went for tanks, airships, artillery and even helicopters.
And the human race went for…. farms/irrigation..
~Sincerely, Scissors
It’s actually really strange that none of the races have evolved over the last centuries, except the Charr.
How is it possible the human race still uses such medieval technology even though their enemy (or at least the Charr were their enemy until not too long ago) has made huge leaps in technological development. You would think that, if a race is constantly at war, it’s technological development would sky rocket.
It doesn’t makes sense for humans to be so primitive, even though the Charr advanced so much.
~Sincerely, Scissors
They may play some role in the future but they probably won’t play near as big a role to humanity as they had been. In SoS, Macha attributes humans major losses in the war with charr to humanities dependence on their gods interviening on their behalf. rather than learning and adapting to the situation in order to win.
Wel to be fair the Charr did the exact same thing to bring down the Ascalonian wall. Without the searing they might have never stood a chance.
~Sincerely, Scissors
And again I would be ecstatic if a dev. could come on and give their 2 cents.
The dev’s answer has already been given when they designed the game and didn’t grant engineers a swappable weapon.
We also can’t have account bound dyes because dyes were designed to be character bound from the start.
oh wait..
~Sincerely, Scissors
And we lost that one.

Am I in the wrong game?
If you want gear progression/threadmills then yes.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Awesome.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Do afkers even get a reward even if they don’t participate at all?
~Sincerely, Scissors
I think white is Celestial dye, red is Oxblood dye or Heirloom dye and the blue one is Sapphire dye.
I’m not sure about the brownish gold one, but it could be Brass dye.

The death penalty in Gw1 was annoying as heck.

Maybe… but this sword is the only one I have to perfectly match my guardian so I hope it never changes ^^
But yeah maybe it should be. Lol
That’s some really nice art you have there ^^
Check out yelerin down in fan Gen ^^
Will do

We can’t have a lvl 30/35 dungeon actually be doable for lvl 30/35 players now can we?
…but it’s doable on level 30/35 players… I did them on my level 35 this past weekend. On my EU account. Really…
I know it is. My comment was meant to refer to people who constantly complain AC isn’t hard enough and elitists who look down on low levels doing dungeons. Some people are apparantly under the impression that dungeons are an 80 only club.

- New zones. And not just one! Also there should be actually something to do there, give it hearts and make it part of map completion. Give us a reason to go there and complete the map. Players can completely ignore Southsun and it wouldn’t matter at all.
- New professions. I know, it will probably never happen, but still it’s my wish.
- New races. Same story as new professions.
- More weapons for each profession. As was promised for 2013. Where the hell is my engi hammer?
- More utility skills.
- More story missions per release. I don’t want to burn through the story in under an hour every 2 weeks. Yes playing the open world content takes longer, but that’s not supposed to be the main attraction of Living STORY. The main attraction about Living STORY should be the STORY!
~Sincerely, Scissors
Fix it by removing it. Just making bosses immune to everything is lazy and boring.
~Sincerely, Scissors
People, if you want skimpy dresses and “sexy” pixels and polygons go play every japanese or korean MMO. I mean it. The less clothing you have there, the higher the armor rating…
GW2 goes for a more “serious” approach to armor. Yes, heavy armor is a tin can. What do you want? Steel hot pants? And two bucklers for a bra?
There are a lot of mix and match “sexy” armor combinations in GW2, i see them all the time, so really, no need to add more.
Serious would only count for males and not even then since males wear serious female armor with all the skirts they throw at us. The armor females wear is already extremely skimpy. This game is pretty much just sexist and uncreative when it comes to armor.
Yea, link one of the few armors that’s not skimpy. GG.
Not that I mind skimpy armors btw, but that was just silly.

If they would put the entirety of Season 2 into one big update and actually added meaningfull content (basically an expansion) then I wouldn’t mind paying.
But paying 200 gems a week for Living Boredom? No thank you.
So far, nothing LS has released was worth paying for. Season 2 really needs to blow my mind first before I consider any of it worth my money.

Lets just please keep Scarlet’s lackies out of this..
I have seen enough of the toxic alliance, molten alliance and aetherblades to last me 10 lifetimes.
Time to move on to different enemies.

The new trait system is indeed horrible. It made levelling alts less fun and a lot more expensive.
The only good thing was the ability to refund traits anywhere. But I would gladly give that up if that means getting the old system back.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Because then Anet would probably be forced to start making real content expansions. Content we don’t burn through in a few hours every 2 weeks.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Glowing bits ftw!
~Sincerely, Scissors
Actually it’s still kitten easy. It’s just less fun now.
~Sincerely, Scissors
That would blow so much.

Nope, it just made the combat more shallow. Instead of 11111 dodge 11111 reflect 11111 we now just have 1111 dodge 11111 dodge.
Basically what 90% of people do already.
Because what else is there to do when it comes to bosses.
CC doesn’t work, Reflects don’t work and on some even conditions don’t work. I got nothing to work with. Just making bosses immune to everything is lazy and bad design imo.
~Sincerely, Scissors
I get the sarcasm, but is there really such a difference between 11111 and 11111 after dropping CC/reflect while you reply to IMs?
Nope, it just made the combat more shallow. Instead of 11111 dodge 11111 reflect 11111 we now just have 1111 dodge 11111 dodge.

Now you should be able to go to the Hall of Monuments using the Hall of Monuments Portal Stone.
You can get this stone for free from the merchant Sarettokk in Lions Arch. I believe he is in the Undermarket (the large cave in the north-west corner of the map).
~Sincerely, Scissors
Well tbh if he is practically never online you are not disloyal by going to another guild. You don’t even have to leave your friend’s guild since you can join multiple guilds.
~Sincerely, Scissors
You have to link your gw1 account to your gw2 account which can be done on the Gw2 website.
Go to “My Account”. There should be an option there. I kinda forgot how I did it back when gw2 launched.

Why can’t people see that criticism and feedback is necessary for a game’s development?
Why can’t people differentiate between criticism and whining?
Why are you complaining about complaining?I criticise the game because I care.
99% of the criticism is terrible bullkitten. Frankly, wading through all of that isn’t worth it to fish out the measly 1%.
No, you don’t know better than ANET developers. Sorry!
With all due respect, you are dead wrong.
~Sincerely, Scissors
which filled up quickly with close minded haters threatening to quit the game if such an option is added to it.
Yea everyone who does not agree with your opinion is a close minded hater..

Never. As it should be.

It seems my character is not even deemed worthy enough to be put up for the vote list I was rather looking forward to the vote.
anyway, here are my picks:
First place: 3rd on your list
Second place: 2nd on your list
Third place: 5th on your list

Please keep in mind that I am not a fan of the Living Story and the lack of permanent content. I’m just disagreeing that it isn’t content, because it is.
It was content when it was still around. It ceased to be content when it disappeared. Just because people still have memory of it doesn’t make it so.
~Sincerely, Scissors
Paying 15 dollars a month just to be able to farm properly.
Bullkitten.
~Sincerely, Scissors
SAB won’t be permanent next time, that is for sure.
Devs stated some times that if SAB and other events was permanent, the players would lose interest soon enough and then it wouldn’t be as exciting as it is now, when open.
Hopefully SAB will never be permanent.
Indeed. I mean, everyone knows that no one plays dungeons, fractals, wvw or even the entire game anymore because it’s permanently available.
..oh wait
