So, I’d say take what’s said with a grain of salt and realize that their stance could change at any time.

Everything but direct damage is entirely useless.

Can’t use conditions, can’t use CC, can’t use reflect. Why do we even have those options if the most important mobs to use them against are completely immune to them?

Which is stupid. Bosses are already virtually immune to CC, Conditions are mostly useless due to the cap (some bosses are even immune to conditions) and now immune to reflects too? Just making bosses immune to everything is not how you make a boss fight hard…

This is why larger boss fights turn into mindless 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 fests. Because why would you use anything else than your main attack, stupid bosses are immune to anything but direct damage…

From the latest patch notes:
One armor, strength, speed, or rejuvenation booster can be converted to an Enchanted Combat Booster. This booster allows the player to choose from an armor, strength, speed, or rejuvenation buff.
One experience, gathering, crafting, or magic find booster (or two karma boosters) can be converted to an Enchanted Reward Booster. This booster allows the player to choose from an experience, gathering, crafting, magic find, or karma buff.

I have no idea how to convert my boosters though. Since clicking on them just causes me to use them.

Actually I think it’s Ronan who planted the tree.

Over 250 years ago, Ronan, a Shining Blade warrior, took one of these seeds and placed it on the graves of his family, located in what was once Arbor Bay, who were killed by the mursaat.

In grief, he then swore to lay down his weapons and planted the seed upon the graves. It was near this tree that he would stay for the rest of his life. Later on, Ronan would be joined by the centaur Ventari.

I got those from the Gw2wiki pages Ronan and The Pale Tree. Though none of those texts have an actual source confirming it. So take it with a grain of salt.

I just tried this and although the files indeed turned into .bmp files that are much larger, the resolution is exactly the same.

You can just join the party, then r-click on leader of party, click transport to pavilion, now your in gold pavilion, then just leave party. All without paying them 1g.

Except you probably won’t get in immediately. Most of the times you have to spam the join world button for ages before you finally manage to get in (unless you get lucky).

By that time the party leader has kicked you already.

This has been known for ages, you can even visit those characters in Guild Wars 1…

hey guys. I’m gunna bump this thread when i receive my first duel request in Wildstar. I’ve been surrounded by dozens of people at any given point in the PvE world, but no duel requests yet

So, i will let you guys know when i get my first duel solicitation. And of course i will let you know when i get my first dose of harassment, duel spam, map chat abuse, what have you.

Hopefully, my own experience can dispel some of the myths surrounding the negative and “inevitable” consequences of a game with open world dueling.

I’m not against duelling but one person not being spammed/harassed with duel requests is hardly enough evidence to dispel this myth.

The fact emotes can show up in chat is kittened in itself. I never spam emotes to annoy/troll anyone, if someone is actually annoyed by something so insignificant then that’s their dang problem. Some emotes just look hilarious if you spam them really fast, and If I want to do that on a few occasions then I have the dang right to do so.

Just create a tab with for all the usual chat (say, map, guild, etc) and another tab with the same, but also emotes. Use that tab, when someone spams, go to the other tab without the emotes. PROBLEM SOLVED. Leave bans for people that actually deserve it.

- The gemstore may start carrying a few new items that have some connection to the new story. (Maybe the Lawless armor pieces have some meaning already?)

- An actual teaser movie on the gw2.com website may appear no earlier than 1 week before July 1st.

Well that would certainly explain why Anet continues to remove threads that are related to gold selling in anyway. Even threads were people have legitimate complaints about gold selling and come up with ways to reduce/stop it are being removed.

To be fair, one of the asuran krewes has the possibility of returning later on, as does the sister. It’s still bad odds- one in six for asura and one in three for the humans with dead sisters- but it’s still better than the complete zero chance for the charr warband.

It’s not really worse or better.

One of the reasons the personal story just feels so incredibly unfinished.
You never hear from your warband again (charr)
You never hear from your sister again (human)
You never hear from your krewe again (asura)

The list goes on. there are just so many loose ends.

It doesn’t have to be something really special, just not the same for each character.

It’s also because of the fact that most asura non cute faces are ugly as hell.
