So basically what you are saying is that anet may very well have a thought out and deep story, they are just not delivering it well.

I guess that’s one way of putting it. Living Story does indeed drag stories out way too long (in my opinion at least).

As far as I remember, because that was supplies.

Nobody was marching through the gate to instantly start murdering Ebonhawke citizens.

Those supplies were for war purposes though. Without supplies Ebonhawke would have been significantly weaker. Proper supplies can be the difference between victory or defeat.

Conditions are such a funny thing. In pvp they are overpowered, in pve they are worthless.

Or, you know, it might mean nothing at all. Living Story isn’t exactly a deep and thought out story. And has plenty of loose ends and plot holes too.

At first I opposed duelling because it would diminish the chance to get completely seperate balance for pvp and pve. However, PvP and PvE are pretty much completely merged now. So I see no reason to oppose it further.

If you create something like an ongoing war where you conquer new parts of the map and start building villages and economy this is what people want.

I actually said that once and Anet removed the comment and infracted me for giving misleading/false information. Still waiting for them to prove me wrong. If by december 31 2014 we will don’t have an expansion, I will remind them of this infraction.

The only reason personal story is forgotten is because it’s not being expanded upon. Instead we have to make do with Living Story..

It was always useless anyway.
The only thing it did was give a few different dialogue options, which had no use either. Different personality dialogues don’t actually give any different outcomes in the story (a la dragon age/mass effect).

I never got why they implemented this system in the first place.

Crafting can be fun. I like fun crafts that let you go all over the world to collect materials and recipes and so on. We don’t have such crafts in GW2 but they can be fun.

Maybe then crafting would be fun. But in gw2 you sometimes have to grind thousands of hard and boring to get stuff. Crafting is nice to have as an extra option, but for many pieces of gear there is no other way but crafting (looking at you, Ascended). I really don’t get why Ascended gear isn’t tradable.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but afaik integrated graphic cards aren’t very powerful.
Maybe your graphics card is the problem. Try lowering your graphic settings.

But anyway, not all of the complaints are without merrit. There’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism. Some people criticise the game because they care.

As for the actual whining threads, nothing to do about that I’m afraid. No matter how good the game is there will always be threads like that.

It’s just bad design on anet’s part. Anet made it in such a way that just playing the game can ruin the experience for others. Just doing events should never punish players.

What I want is armors that can be considered more feminine. It doesn’t have to be anything major, some small details (like the smaller T3 light earflaps) will do.

That’s why the megaserver system in combination with this new trait system so incredibly broken. Just doing an event actually punishes players now. Anet really didn’t think this true.

But in any case. Guild Wars 1 really is a great game. I recommend playing it for the experience, and see the wheelock rifle as a nice bonus
