they really should remove that option in wvw regarding enemy servers, since you cant whisper opposing players normally, and it just allows stalker mode basically

PvP tournaments for PvP, Living Story for Pve, Sneak Attack for WvW. Now whether or not you as an individual care or enjoy them is entirely up to you. They want to encourage people to play other parts of the game, whats wrong with that?

and a engi’s rifle has base 1000range on the first 2 skills, , 500,400,700 for the others. High armor, high health, high regen and your complaining about not having enough range on a warrior, seriously…

Dude, you’re way off base. My server queues EB on most nights, and has significant presence in bls (at least 4 guilds running 10-20, as well as a ton of pugs and roaming guilds). And SBI/GoM can, and frequently do, beat my server in primetime. Every single server in this game, down to t8, is active (ish) in primetime. Any server above t5 can field zergs, literally, around the clock (you just don’t see NSP/IoJ doing it because they’ve had weeks, and weeks, of getting pulverized by stacked t2 servers and their map completion mega zergs).

And by the way you say balance? All I see is 2v1s in t2, and always 1 tier server getting a k train matchup in t3. t2 servers hardly are balanced.

Fielding numbers in primetime and maybe running 1 tag on one of the maps is not very active. As I said that’s ok for NA guilds that just care about fighting during their rally time.

And as for balance T2 did reach a balance for a short time when FA and SoS recuited to even things out, but then turned around and immediately started the 2v1 fest you see now.

DB became a bandwagon server once again, that didnt help the t2 situation

t4 and below are certainly not dead not even close. t3 is messed up atm because of t2’s 4 servers competing for 3 spots. T1 is just much more active, that doesnt mean other tiers are dead

I think what they mean is buying physical copies from other retailers as opposed to digital versions from Anets online store, which would require you to manually put in a friends personal info. Basically if you want to gift it for someone, buy a physical retail box version and give that to your friend/

have to be level 80, the old tier unlock books dont do anything, you can still unlock grandmaster traits while your below lvl 80, just cant unlock the tier until you hit 80

I can understand that, I thought Id mention t2 because you said you like t1, and t2 is as close as possible. Since your main issue is queues, I havent heard it being as bad as T1 can be at times. Good luck to you.

uh well first of all make sure your account is absolutely safe, I would delete that character who knows what that hacker was using it for. Make sure you did a comprehensive scan on your computer and change all your passwords if your computer is clean, and not just gw, other websites you might be registered on. Level a new toon, gear it up. You can get exotic armor from different sources: Dungeon Tokens, rare drops, Karma, badges of honor + gold, craft, buy on tp, pvp tracks, etc. No exotic is not the same as elite in gw1. Exotic is the 2nd highest in terms of stats/strength for gear right below ascended, but exotic is perfectly fine unless you do a lot of fractals. There wvw, pvp, pve-living story, dungeons, fractals, leveling etc etc

no one, with the new trait system, leveling in GW2 is really not fun, luck i have 1 of each class lvl80 before change.

It’s not nearly as bad as people make it sound. At least not for me, I got 3 stacks of SP scrolls sitting in my bank so buying traits is nice and easy.

Zergs dont like to drop everything they doing on one map to tele everyone to another and attempt to get to an upgraded keep in time to save it from 5 people because there was a late call or no scout. No white swords has led to a lot of karma training and turned off many players from attempting to invest gold or time in upgrades

Both are great options and very useful. Guard would be a little easier if your still learning the game. Both have a good learning curve, but Guard is little easier. My suggestion, since you already have a heavy, make an ele next, then make guard, have fun.

I did like that wintersday scavenger hunt, would like more of that type of content personally

Also there can never be a cooling off period or any such thing in wvw, scores can sometimes literally be so close and be decided in the last couple hours, it would never be fair to just stop everything so some people can map, I know it would help some people but its not a practical solution.

One thing you can do is take a small group to recap the map, Ive done that many times its not that hard. If you have some friends who need to map, can have someone pop a tag and get people to rally on your group, can quickly recap a map with a small group and map everything with little difficulty, just run to supply camps before attacking keeps/towers and after, also resupply when you need more siege for inner like bay/hills, if your not using a golem.

If you get truly desperate, you can always transfer. Farm gold and convert to gems if you want or just spend rl cash, up to you.

They also said crafting precursors would happen, and lots of other stuff for whatever reason never happened. Im hoping for expansion to, but hopefully it avoids the same problems GW1 had after the Factions/Nightfall/EoTN were released. I can understand why they dont/waited so long not to go for an expansion, but they couldnt hold out forever. To much pressure from Ncsoft and the player base to do it, and all these rumors over most of last year talking about Anet working on some big project etc etc, and cant Imagine fighting a new elder dragon in a living story instance. So we’ll see what news comes out of that.

Id have to think that if there are ever new legendaries it will be versions of new weapons. I would like some tweaks to existing ones, making incinerator/sunrise footstep effects nicer and more noticable. If they just introduced new legendaries for existing weapon types those precursor would drop to much in price

well there is the compact and deposit collectables option those are very useful

Im not against people farming, could care less, Its annoying seeing people post about how their farm is being ruined by people who have the nerve to go to eotm and fight them and ruin their farm. Its that entitlement mind where everything has to be their way, and they own the map, and anyone who does different is bad. FA’s matchup this week is not a fair assessment of PPK’s value, its just another unbalanced matchup for t3 because there are 4 t2 servers and one will keep getting bounced to t3 and karma train for the week. For more stablie tiers, you can see the difference.

Having a hard time understanding but let me try here. Your saying your server was attacking an enemy garrison, and when the water gate came down, you used Lightning flash to teleport up to the 2nd floor?

can you give a little more detail? Are you seeing other nodes on the map? what level are you, what maps etc

what do you like to do? pve/pvp/wvw? Do you prefer caster or melee

Ironically if they did that, and made EoTM what it was originally intended to be like, nobody would go there. Queues can be annoying at times but nowhere near as bad as they used to be before when the concept of EoTM was concieved of.

are you planning on doing wvw as well? If you just want to do pve/pvp you can basically join any guild because of megaservers. Only WvW is limited to servers.
