North Keep: One of the village residents will now flee if their home is destroyed.
“Game over man, Game Over!” – RIP Bill
Thanks for proving my point, you’re still crying over it. Keep throwing the clueless insults, I get a laugh picturing you rp wiping tears off whenever you say bandwagoners.
Why do people freak out about a new guild? No1 goes on forums when jq, SoS, fa, mag got their transfers. Why tc?
Oh no, TC players have been rping as jerks ever since SoS got their transfers, calling us bandwagoners and putting our new guilds down. Sorry but TC doesn’t get to play innocent, expect a lot of crap whenever you get transfers in.
Personally, some siege is crap, some siege is OP, currently in Far shiverpeeks we don’t even defend anymore, when we get SM we will just leave it, i mean if we try were just going to be trebbed by Tier 3 towers defended by a zerg.
I find that SM though huge with lots of defenses can be one of the least defendable places of them all, though the inner walls can’t be taken down, the outer walls seem kinda useless, being both attackable from about anywhere, and being to big to fully defend, as a zerg can just move locations.
I think that’s kind of the point for SMC over all other keeps and towers, it’s the one central place for all three sides to fight over, you can treb it safely from any side, and once you get it you can then treb back easily as well. It can be defended if your side is willing to place enough siege, have people scouting, and your zerg is willing to come and defend immediately when the call comes.
It is suppose to be the most difficult place to defend, and you get the points for that, teams have to question whether or not is it worth using that much resources for holding it over a long period or not. This happens on every tier when it comes to SMC.
You need to think of defensive siege this way, it’s meant to keep small groups away from your tower, it’s meant to slow down zergs that come to the tower, and it’s not meant for one person defending to wipe out 10+. Ele’s can hit most lazily placed siege, necro to a certain extent with deathshroud 4, wells if the siege is placed near the middle of the wall, and marks if someone is dumb enough to run over them.
There are places to perfectly place siege in most towers and keeps, and the use of trebs is becoming much more popular since you can defend the gate easily and even hit long range siege if placed right. One cow supply eating treb is enough to ward off an entire zerg from the front door.
If you allow siege to get too powerful to take down and the combination of having a lot placed plus a T3 structure, you only force the enemy to resort to taking it to the next step of using golems more often or long distance trebbing. That’s not something I would think most of us would want.
I agree with you but at the same time there are two types of guilds. Those who play for ppt and those who play for fights, though both types of guilds may clash those who are more experienced in fights should always win.
This doesn’t mean ppt guilds are bad because it is those guilds that win match ups. They are in charge of running supply buying upgrades and setting up/manning siege. They have the potential to do well alone but they must play defensive against a fighting guild.
A fighting guild on the other hand is dependent on the ppt guilds to win a matchup. The ppt guilds tell the fighting guild where the enemy are and the fighting guild’s job is to wipe them. The fighting guild is also best suited to harass enemy territory.
No server that is in the top 3 tiers will only play for fights they will always be a hybrid or more lenient toward points. So in that sense you are correct, however both fighting groups and point groups are needed in a successful server.
Indeed, every server needs a healthy balance of both types of guilds, especially in the higher tiers where enemy zergs/blobs are roaming around taking territory. It’s good to have the zerg busting guilds around to help harass/break/demoralize the enemy zerg/blob.
I’ve seen the call for EP our top fighting guild on SoS to come defend a broken outer hills from three big guild groups at the same time, and successfully held the line, while our pug zerg went and recapped/reset some enemy territory. You can bet your kitten we appreciated it when they came out to play defense and help hold off/distract the enemy that greatly outnumbered us.
You cannot land in the higher tiers without ppt guilds/commanders, and anyone who comes on to the forums and flaunt they are only for the fights and don’t care about ppt, are showing no respect/appreciation to the other type of players on their server. The players who are trying to keep their server standings, which in turn gives better fights to those fight only guilds.
I think even servers like Maguuma have realized that tier 3 and below is not for them, so they have been playing the ppt game harder than usual the past few weeks to get back into tier 2. FA and SoR will probably wake up again once they get a trip back to tier 3 and below. I can understand the servers on the bottom half of the servers not caring about ppt much though, because they don’t have the population, they might as well only fight.
At this point Anet should just make another eotm map based on the hunger games style plain forest arena with a lake in the middle and no structures. Last side standing, when you die you spawn into another instance of the map instead.
That’s all the supposed pvp’ers are asking for these days it seems, a place for them to hit 1 and collect loot bags since they can’t be bothered with structures or siege or points. Bonus loot if you figure out how to break the ceiling before the other side is dead.
To me uplevels are ok on karma train fridays or if you’re not running with the zerg. You should be running your mains if you have any at 80 that is, at every other time.
1. Account bound wxp, the most important change we are all waiting on.
2. Adding second sigil to two handed weapons.
3. Changes to commander tags.
4. Lower cost to transfer to lower servers, leave the cost at max for T1 and T2, need to spread the population out otherwise these tournaments are pointless.
1. Ranger
2. Necromancer
3. Elementalist
The last 4 from the SoS list wasn’t posted…

Sea of sorrows… The ones I see mostly…
FANG / EP / BEAR / CNB / CCTV / DiE / Dx / EK / EPiC / ENVY / ETA / REND / TS / Rx / ALL / ZoD / GH.
There’s a few others but I don’t know their numbers or how active they are in wvw, I apologize for not listing you if you are!

Eotm is so awesome…. 21 replies in 3 days.
Eotm does not fix any existing problems of wvw, and you’re not looking at the big picture just looking at the new shiny if you think it does. In fact it just created another problem for wvw.
It’s still zergy, in fact it’s blobby, but with far more pve players in it.
The npcs have new skills, something that could be moved to wvw lords, but when a zerg hits them it makes no difference.
Players don’t defend like usual, why bother just back cap it anyways when the zerg passes by.
Coverage issue gone? I’ve run into maps where one side has fully capped the map, guess where the other two sides are? yes already map hopped into another overflow.
After two hours maps tend to turn into karma/champ trains.
Are there great matches in there? sure, but they are far and few in between the bad ones. We’re lucky I suppose that anet is giving even better rewards in there than wvw, let’s see how long it takes for them to match the rewards and npcs to wvw.
I wish Anet would have just separated servers like every other game does for pvp. Have half the realms under pve only and half marked as wvw, so at least the serious wvw players could have stacked on 12 rather than 24 servers and we wouldn’t have so many dead servers in the bottom of the list. Then again they made mistakes like offering reduced transfers to top tier servers before season and continue to blow the balance of servers anyways.
EOTM will probably kill wvw eventually, people like rolling over disorganized groups and lootbag training more than they would like to admit.
Paragraphs dude, it does wonders to a wall of text.
I think WvW dev team is the worst among ANET teams in communicating with players and address real problems in game play. SPvP team got lot of heat but they actually do show up on forum to answer player concerns. WvW team just don’t talk at all and don’t even try to address the “elephant in the room” balance problems in WvW.
Seriously, just scrap WvW already and make some tweaks to EoTM.
No, not everyone hates wvw and not everyone likes eotm. If you like one or the other then do whichever, nothing needs to be scrapped just more serious work on tweaks to both.
I love your awesome back-handed insult that people who play EOTM are bads. I’m sure several T2 guilds who also enjoy EOTM would fully support that stance, right guys?
EOTM is also full of pve’ers, if that’s a challenge for you to play in there than against hardcore wvw players, heh do whatever to get your morale back up I guess. But it’s plain as sight, SOR wvw guilds are quitting on their server and going for the easy kills. SOR isn’t the only server that has faced greater odds, you’re not special in that regard.
And if a T2 server gets moved up due to our PPT decline, that’s not really our problem either. Should we be forced to play against BG and JQ repeatedly just because you don’t want to?
Awesome backhand there too. It’s not a T2 problem if you stay up in T1 either, so please stay and continue to get pummeled by BG and JQ repeatedly, because SOR stacked itself on the way to T1 too(even plucked guilds from SOS). Even with your population losses I don’t think any of the T2 can match Rall on population as yet, so why should any T2 server be moved up to take your place?
You guys have quit on your server, and have been trying to tank the entire server so that it loses the people you don’t need, and it drops from T1 just so you get the server in the image you want. Which is to be the for the fights server that will have at least T1.5 population coverage and maybe enough ppt guilds left to keep you on top of T2.
I feel sorry for the SOR server because a few wvw guilds have now destroyed the reputation of Rall, as being the underdog that didn’t give up and wouldn’t quit right down to the end. You could have just as easily transferred to FA or MAGs to fit your own playstyle, instead you want to plaster that mantra up and take the entire server down with you.
I feel for the Rallians who still want to win the PPT game. I’m sorry our guilds aren’t doing what you would like. But based on that same logic, you cannot fault us pursuing the gameplay experience we seek. The best I can do is recommend you start your own organized PPT guild, and/or take it up with key SoR WvW commanders.
You apologize, so that means there are players/guilds on Rall that don’t support what you are doing to the server, or the sales pitch you’ve been trying to sell since the season then? Why are you guys still on Rall? when you clearly don’t care about Rall. You have no server pride, in other areas such as sports they call that having no heart. I don’t know why any sane player would want to try and help Rall ppt after this, they’re not appreciated on there, they will only be there to help keep the server high enough so you guys continue to get your fights.
(edited by Xenesis.6389)
TC can go right ahead, they’ve been ppting hard lately, plus they still have a bigger population than SoS, and we are not actively recruiting at the moment.
XD
Oh thought you meant something recent.
Die moved to SoS during the season to get away from the queues not because of SoR implosion.
What guild moved to SoS? I only know a few moved to FA and JQ.
As for what happened to SoR? For the Fights! is what happened, if they’re not even playing in wvw most are likely in eotm, talk about server pride, the ones left are just waiting for the server to drop tiers.
To add to Xenesis comment :
Elems : Other than heal, useful for combos (fire/might – less used for static fields/speed nowadays with gardians’ staff speed stacking) and CC
Necros : also have debuffs – usually first thing put down in a fight.
Yup a lot more to those classes than what we’ve listed. If he’s looking to fill in spots for his guild it will come down to what his guild is running at the moment, havok, gvg, zerg size groups.
I enjoy a game more when I’m a needed asset to my guild/party and potentially fill a role that not many people do.
BTW: I would enjoy playing any of those classes so the play what you find most fun is invalid for this potential discussion.
Actually the classes you’ve named are all the top wanted classes in wvw at the moment, so it really does come down to play what you will find the most fun(melee or range? dps or healing?), or what your guild needs.
(Staff/Great sword Guardian) (2H Hammer/Sword warhorn Warrior) – Melee frontline that is always needed for their buffs and control/condition removals, especially since buffs drop on group first need one in every group, guardian spamming staff 1 will also end up filling your bags often.
Staff Elementalist – Water healing, valuable to any group in wvw especially zergs, also for taking enemy hard to reach siege off walls.
Staff Necro – High survivability, lots of aoe ground goodness with staff and wells, blinds with plague. (My favorite class)
Speak with your guild and see what they need.
(edited by Xenesis.6389)
They added in champions so that people would get rewarded for playing in there, even if it just leads to a champ train farm after a few hours, at least people will feel it was worth the time. What you seem to be asking for is an arena map, you can still park yourself in a few of the big open areas for that, OS is still open for all out brawls, or spvp if you want smaller groups.
Well here’s my impression…
Blue side the wurm tunnel event bugged out because of the sand devil which couldn’t be killed, big open space to move around.
Red side, how come observatory has 3 champs on 3 different levels you need to kill before capping it? no other cap point has that much. Trees right by the keep gate, annoying for view, so annoying.
Green side, narrow maze walkways, annoying chill spells with so many kodan around, yeah I know kodan city but still annoying.
Most of the time spent champ training around the map, 2 hrs in green side had given up and left, only had red zerg to clash with and not very often. The map terrain annoyed me more than anything, I’ll be sticking with regular wvw maps, the just for fights and champ trainers and roamer can have their fun in there.
Read the other thread? posted 32 mins ago
Just popping in to let y’all know we haven’t forgotten about you. The team is still hard at work fixing this problem. Again, sorry for any disruptions in your plans to play the new content today.
Depends on what time he looked, sounds like he was playing during the day only.
NA prime time we usually have the main guilds and a pug float commander on. NA during the day is when we’re dead, this is where the new transfers will start to fill in. If you were talking about yesterday I dunno it was weird we basically only had enough to float a force between EB and home for defense, followed by the outmanned but queued wvw event lol. Jumping on TS will give you an idea of who’s on and where they’re at as well.
Other than that I’m sure BG or JQ have the numbers throughout the day to support your scattered play time.
There are discussions on the other board in regards to this thread, so pardon me if I blurred the lines in responding to everything.
I think FA is moving to the SoR route and just playing for the fights and bags, they’ve already mentioned that in the other forums, the couple transfers they got from SoR should have sent notice of that too since that’s all they do.
SoS has not been pushing FA as much this matchup, we’ve been more focused on applying and holding back pressure from TC. Meanwhile everyone is going nuts that all of a sudden SoS has a population explosion, and yet we’re still not able to get enough people on to fully defend and push a couple maps. We’ve been floating one force to defend EB and SoS, while TC has zergs parked in each this afternoon. Probably need another week for things to settle in.
This, so much this.
If ANET wanted to keep wvw fun and bring more people into the gameplay mode, increase player kills rewards and REMOVE the cumulative scoreboard.
You know what will happen right? it will turn wvw into a giant death match mode, where the structures no longer serve a purpose, because everyone will just take their blobs and smash it into each other endlessly just for the bags.
I guess they’re answering your call though since EOTM is out tomorrow, but that’s going to take players out of wvw not bring them in. Yeah it has a score too but no one is going to give a kitten about it anyways.
400 or so levels, 1 ascended ring, couple exotics, which come to think of it I got those quite some time ago, odd rares and mostly blue greens now….
I guess people were under the impression that TC were already on par with SoS population since they’ve been bleeding guilds before league. The truth is SoS has been floating between rank 5-10 ever since the exodus of guilds to T1 meanwhile TC has been holding down rank 4 and T2 for a very long time, they’ve even won 6 out of the last 8 weeks since the league, coverage wins and you need population for that and TC has had it. If TC thinks they need guilds then go recruit them, we don’t need to keep hearing your bleeding hearts of how you lost a half dozen guilds, we lost that amount almost a year ago too.
So many people replying and have no idea on the situation, all they had to do was read the SoS recruitment thread. The recruitment thread for SoS has been up for six months with 11k views, so you can throw the trash talk of overstacking for T1 and prepping for season 2 out the window. All the players/guilds that wanted to stay in T1 so badly already left months ago. SoS wants to be in T2 and we want it to be competitive, that is all, if you want to read extra strange meanings over it that’s your problem.
I’ve played in T1 it’s fun smashing megablobs together in open field, but that’s if you have a megablob to match it, I don’t think any of the T2 servers can match T1 still in numbers. BG and JQ can continue to make out with their arms race, as long as the rest of us don’t have to deal with them and they can keep SoR up there as well :P
SoS has had a weak NA daytime for a long time, our OCX will gain us points overnight but we tend to lose that during the day because of our lack of numbers. The new guilds, which is more than we expected to receive at once(we even had a guild leave to FA how shocking!), they will help keep our score and if we manage to get more that’s bonus. SoS is covering a weakness just like any other server should be doing.
This thread was a goodwill thread to direct moving guilds and to help the other servers around us to better round out the competition. We will never achieve perfect balance on populations or coverage, but kitten we can at least point to it and hope others want what we want, excellent fights, closer matchups, and tons of fun.
If they’re using the total population as the marker for population status for servers then I think they need to raise the ceiling on their numbers. Sooner or later all servers will hit that ceiling which it probably has by now, and it’s a disservice to those lower ranked servers that they don’t look anymore attractive to new or older players to transfer to them.
Then again I don’t think they care anyways, we’ve been asking them to help balance wvw pops for a long time in various ways and they won’t do it, they only managed to screw it up more by lowering fees before season 1.
5 players in LA the main hub of the game? that’s sad.
Oh ok the JQ guy is on another level from me even though I have accounts on SoR and SoS. I didn’t jump ship, I play on the server that’s having a lot more fun at the moment and that’s SoS. After leagues I was hoping SoR would return to being normal, but even more crap came up so whatever, keep your blinders on SoR and stand behind that stupid slogan.
You’re on SOS……………. nuff said.
I have an account on SoR, I played on both during leagues.
>.>
Bags.
I will never understand why people play for ppt. There are to many broken mechanics against it. To each their own I guess.
Just another goal for wvw players to use, much like achievements which I see as being totally pointless, but some people like doing them.
To each their own.
Its not an excuse its genuinely the focus for the major guilds, and they didn’t tank in S1 they were overwhelmed.
No they tanked, the first week they worked with BG to hold JQ off to third place, by midweek BG turned around and made sure Rall stayed in second and not challenge for first. Then when week two came BG got one guild midweek to coincide with a 20k point comeback, all of a sudden SoR major guilds were no where to be found and the pugs floundered and left because no one was around to lead them.
Ever since then certain Rall players have poured on the “we only play for fights” mantra. Hey that’s great for you but no need to drag the rest of your server down with that, imagine what the other players who do more than just fighting feel about having to carry them, when they only care to stuff their bags with loot.
Like I said they think they’re the only ones that face overwhelming odds every day? for a long while T1 was the only balanced tier, most of the others were blowouts. The table got turned and they no longer liked sitting there anymore, too bad for them it will take some time for them to tumble down the rankings.
I accidentally put 15 points into mercenary bane instead of 15 into guard defense, not as bad as the op lol but still banging my head over that, hoping they still won’t really wait till mar/apr to do account wxp. :\
Better coverage, usually around this time in the day is the bad time for SoS to the point where we would lose the points out our OCX make overnight. Only reason SoS stay in races is if the OCX takes up a lead and the NA can hold out long enough to not lose the lead during the day. Recent transfers should make that a little easier/better to do.
I understand why you would say that, it really sounds like an excuse, but in the case of SoR it has been like this since a long time ago, even when we were winning some T1 matchs.
How do you think SoR even got to T1? How do you think you won over servers that still play for ppt? You didn’t even get points for just fighting until they put the bloodlust buff in, even then you’d think they would run away with points from stomping but they don’t. There were people that cared about server competition and played for points as well, you get fights along the way anyways unless you’re pvding. SoR has this mob mentality now that the entire server is just for the fights, trying to turn themselves into another magummy.
Rall wants to think they’re special and they let people play how they want, at the same time they only play to fight and think that’s how they win. The reality is every server lets their guilds play however they want, but they tend to have a healthy balance of both types of players. The Rall elitist keep campaigning for the fights, that will drive away their ppt players and eventually their pugs from wvw or even the server, hell even some of their for the fights guilds already jumped ship.
The more I hear Rall shouting out that they only play for the fights, the more it looks like an excuse that they can’t compete anymore, even more so since the season when they tanked. What, they think they’re the only server to face coverage odds? pfft.
If they want more sales for gems in wvw then they need to provide more useful wvw items, there have been many suggestions already. To make more from wvw they need to put some work into it, just like they decided to make four teams for living story. At this point I doubt they even have five people working on wvw.
At least josh is here now maybe we won’t feel so neglected in the future, depending on how much he keeps us in touch with stuff in the works.
They all play Elder Scrolls Online.
Just kidding. The less dev posts you find in the forums the harder they work on next patches. Unfortunately they dont give a crap about WvW so dont expect too much in the near future.
EOTM looks nice but its a bandaid. I predict it will go live end of march.
A Band aid for high population servers. Like T1 or T2. For low population servers where right now 4 maps is just too much and all the players go to EBG for find someone to fight will be pretty harmful.
Most likely they allow us to get there whenever we want through the map list, otherwise it will be quite pointless. The map was created not just for solving the queue problem, but to provide an area for smaller group play without the worry of ppt which a lot of guilds are moving to doing. Most servers would probably only experience queues on reset night if at all and the odd time you’re map floating zergs into another map.
WvW uses the PVE ruleset, systems, features, which is why anet ruled wvw as pve and why any changes to that ruleset affects wvw. Makes sense in that you still have to fight npcs in there, albeit not challenging pve stuff but it’s still there, and you can level normally in there like pve.
sPVP has it’s own ruleset which they classify as the pure pvp system, they don’t need to balance skills against npcs just the players, makes it easier for them to balance the skills in there.
Yes wvw should have either been included with the sPVP ruleset or on it’s own all together, but given they don’t even have much dev power on wvw I would think it would taken even longer for us to get any changes to broken things.
Arenanet somehow still seems dazed and confused on how to implement commander tag changes, more than a year after suggestions like this have come up. I like the idea of color changes according to what role you’re currently doing, public havok or guild.
Really makes no difference if they wait to bundle up all the features to try and deter people from playing ESO, people will try ESO regardless because they can continue to play or come back to GW2 at any time. Holding back features only works on a sub game, because you drain another month or two of subs off the player to stick around to try the new features.
There are many players who will play the first month of a new expansion in wow, then take 2-3 months off until the next major patch before they come back for another month or two. They typically do slow release of content, it’s not something arenanet needs to pick up on the account that their features are not getting enough “hype” when they’re release.
Arenanet has to rely on keeping their customers happy most of the time, so that players feel comfortable dropping money on gems here and there. Waiting another two months for features that we know are coming is not going to help with that. The wvw crowd is also getting disgruntled as time goes on, we only have two major features we’re waiting on, the eotm map, and account wxp. Hell waiting the additional two months will probably push wvw players to go try something else in the meantime.
EDIT: forgot sigil and rune changes coming as well to look forward to.

What are the reward drops for bosses?
Blues and greens? I need to know if I am wasting time with this.
If you are playing this for rewards, don’t, and go do dungeons. If you are here for hardcore content, welcome to the party.
How about if you’re only playing for fun then go back to playing chess or checkers or monopoly or whatever board game that’s fun. Nothing wrong in wanting rewards to upgrade or showoff on your character, especially if you expect people to continue doing content multiple times. Since the beginning of mmo’s people have been doing elite group content not just for fun but rewards as well, some gw2 players got it in their heads anet can be lazy and only give you content with little rewards.
If you’re happy with the scraps of loot anet provides you, then happy for you, move along and keep enjoying your content. Meanwhile the people who want loot will continue to ask for it and until anet does a better job of delivering it, you can thank the loothogs later for getting that for you too.
P.S I don’t care about gw2 pve content, it’s disappointing/waste of time compared to other games. Where’s my wvw content anet?
I highly doubt most of the servers are high populations, or that it actually tracks how many players are on the server, it’s just what anet is setting them at in order to keep the gem transfer fees to maximum.
We don’t need new servers, we could use a couple merges of the lower servers. At this point they should just list the servers by wvw rankings and offer transfer rates that reflect that, do this even for one week and let fresh blood move back into the lower servers.
Why would they do that? It’s not like the crit damage got outright removed from the item.
Back then with MF gear, the problem was that they couldn’t just slap on a rangom stat or leave the gear at 2 stats, so they had to offer the stat change. MF gear was used for a very specific purpose around that time and it could no longer be used for that purpose. This time, however, things are different. Crit damage is not removed, it gets rebalanced… And the gear still serves the exact same purpose(dealing damage) as before.
It’s because most dps classes have access to effective crit/crit% builds or condition builds, unfortunately they require you to complete change all your armor to go either way. A lot of people who chose to go the crit/crit%(damage will be reduced by 10%) build with ascended items might want to switch now that condition builds are looking better with every change. Is it really fair to hang those people out to dry after they worked on getting ascended with the stats just to their liking for their build, then turn around and get an important stat changed?
I wouldn’t give two kittens if it was exotics we’re talking about here, because those are easy to come by in multiple ways. BTW I don’t and won’t be getting ascended items other than laurels(holding off on that too), thankfully stupid changes like this reinforce that decision. Why do they have to make switching builds so difficult, so much easier in WoW to play different builds.
The combination of having hard to get/replace gear, entire stat change, pushing to condition damage instead, 10% damage reduction, make this a really kittenty situation. On the other hand it nerfs thieves and their spike damage so I’m all for that :P
But the silver lining is I’m going to assume any gear that have crit damage % on it will be able to choose another stat combination, much like they did with the magic find % gear, unless they’re going to be real kittens and not even allow that.
They need to turn rangers into a mobile arrow cart.
XD
Yeah I’m sorry but as a rallian I have to give my two cents in here, yes sadly I still have an account on SoR. You can’t use the score as an excuse to measure how poor SoR is compared against BG and JQ, because that is EXACTLY how SoR wants to play. The biggest guild on SoR admits to not playing for points, they would rather roam around fighting instead. Oh and fights to the bitter end = gives up week two in the season and every week thereafter. As for community, there are elitist there, why do you think Fannwong gave up posting for the community, he ran into one that he couldn’t do anything about.
Playing for PPT doesn’t have to be you worry about capping stuff right down to the tick, but you take places when you can and have fun with the fights you still get while doing it, and guess what BG and JQ and just about every other server in T2/3 play like this. If you want to completely shut out capping anything and just run around looking for a fight you put the stress on your ppt guilds to keep your server competitive. You guys obviously don’t care about the morale of the server either, when you don’t bother to take anything anymore people will zone into wvw see nothing to fight for and end up not caring either.
If all you wanted was smaller group fighting you should have just transferred to any of the rank 3-10 servers instead of destroying an entire server and T1 balance with that dumb mantra. I hope SoR stays in T1 for a long time and continue to get hammered by BG and JQ until you come to your senses. Playing on SoS in T2/3 has been amazing the last two weeks, against SBI down to the final day of the matchup, and this week with TC and FA.
I love big battles, in open field, at choke points, breaking and entering a tower or keep, or defending it to the bitter end. When all three sides come together in one spot to fight… rare… but glorious!
Iron left them after season, Fear and Retribution moved to FA, XPK to JQ, Choo maybe moving to kaineng? TW rumored to be moving, although they’re the self appointed kings of SoR and looking to tank the entire server instead to drop tiers.
Thats completely false actually.
And Iron left during the season, and I think the guy above was making a joke about Choo.
Iron was leaderless during the season because their leader was ill, this was right when the russian guild came to BG apparently. Whether they left before or after the season makes no difference, they left the server. I see I had a question mark for the choo question, wonder what that was about…
