Champs at Jormag don’t drop bags. No one is farming champs there.
But there are leechers. That’s for sure.
Gonna repeat this since people fail to read a whole thread.
Champion Icebrood Elemental —-(Phase 1 drops no loot) Drops loot for pre-event on last crystal.
Champion Icebrood Goliath —-(Phase 2 does not normally drop loot)
Champion Icebrood Quaggan —-(Phase 2-Drops champ chest)
Champion Icebrood Kodan —-(Phase 2-Drops champ chest)
Champion Icebrood Troll —-(Phase 2-Drops Champ Chest)
Champion Icebrood Wolf —-(Phase 2-Ocasionally Drops Champ chest)If people let them go, everyone doing other aspects of the event would die fast.
Yepp .. the champs that don’t drop loot are the “old” champs that have always been
there .. Goliath an Wolf with endless hitpoints .. the other champs were added at
the las revamp of the event .. and they drop loot.If you are near the claw in phase 2 autocasting you are not doing anything (claw is not taking damage until the golems stun him/her). If you are cleaning the mobs that spawn so they do not kill golems you are doing something. All depends on perspective.
Thats wrong .. we killed CoJormag even when the zone had the no-respawn bug and
there were no golems at all ..The biggest problem for me are simply all those people that will never learn about
the double-damage spots in phase 1 and so make that phase often so annoying long.I think i only experienced it 2 times that he went directly to phase 2 after the first
icewall .. that was great.Ahh .. and if anything should be changed : Less Fear-Spam please !!
Think the longest in phase one I have ever seen is 2 walls, can’t go below 50% at start of phase 2 so if you get it down to 30% phase 1 it means nothing, still hear people screaming about double damage.
I completely agree with fear spam being way too much.
Could still easily go either way. They said last year they where finalizing discussions of how to deliver the content. Content production and planing is about a 6 month cycle for easy stuff. Living story after this (very long ) break will hopefully give a final hint to whether everything will be released inside the story of if a big chunk will be released as a more traditional expansion. Personally I am hoping they go the living story route but not my call to make.
I’ll take non-sequitur for 800 Alex.

What is wrong with figuring out that what you want is not in this game, but there are other games that have exactly what you want?
Actually, Anet is using the gem money to build a secret volcano base.
I heard this too. Can a third confirm and comment on the features of the facility?
Absolutely. They have sharks with laser beams!
Didn’t you hear? The sharks were too expensive. They decided to go with piranhas instead.
Darn, always liked the shark with laser bit.

cool
Sounds like you want dungeons then, armour and sigils taken care of at the same time. Teq gives really good karma which can be turned into gold or used for armour. A lot of the world events are good only for the rare they give so maybe take some focus off them unless you want one of the big score collectible items.
your clarifications leave much to be desired.
tl;dr – some achievements have been discontinued, but still award points (since Anet can’t really subtract AP). The OP wants to get them anyway.
Oh I understood the op, just not impressed by their writing style.
Too involved, too convoluted, too hyper.
What kind of gold income are you looking for? I get 10ish gold per game play, others get more, others less. Depends on what you want the gold for. I really don’t have a plan so I just dump excess gold into gems and wait for something I like.
your clarifications leave much to be desired.
…Really???. This video is a month old. When this video hit the forums, the forums pretty much exploded – with everyone (vets mostly) venting their frustration at Anet for lack of content.
Sorry OP, but this post looked more like a shameless plugin in for your YT channel :/.
I’m well aware. Like I said, I’ve been busy, but I planned this video a long time ago.
I’m sharing a video with people, not my Youtube channel. At no point in this post, my video, or even the video description, did I ask anyone to like, comment, or subscribe. I don’t care. I don’t make videos for teh youtubez moneyz or some shallow, self-gratifying fanbase of nerds.
Sorry if you didn’t enjoy the video, but a lot of people I know did and I enjoyed making it; and that’s all that matters to me.
Honestly, I’m just waiting for this thread to get deleted and for me to get a permanent forum ban. I figured this would be a good way for me to officially sign myself out of Gw2 for good.
what a wussy thing to do.
Spending a heck of a lot of time building up AA, waiting in queue?
I am not a collector so I am really not following what the problem is.
hmm, I can’t read it either.
i just realized NOBODY has 33k achievement points lol
yes, and as the poster below your post said it will take years to get to 30k even if you drive yourself.
With mega-server there is no clearly defined way to avoid others. The map fills, a new one is produced, not enough people for a new map then you are with the same people whether you guest to another server or not.
Merge all servers with China
Should be Lord Jingo shouldn’kitten
Have you actually been to these zones you say are empty?
You guys have eliminated the mounts
OMG I hate how they “eliminated” mounts from GW2! I’m soooooo mad at ANET right now!
…
Yes they lined them up and shot them before release, probably find a smuggled video about it.
That’s terrible! Someone call PETA!
Heard it was something about an NPC called Roy Rodgers, shouted trigger at a mount showing and an Assuri said OK, you can guess the rest. They of course will refuse to admit anything went wrong with the game.
Add ‘The Aging Factor’. Just like real life.
Your character starts out weak and gets stronger as it levels, so far the same. The difference is, you reach max strength at about level 20. You stay there until about level 50 and then start to decline in strength. At level 80 you are again weak and have to play in the starter zones again.
After your character has leveled 20 more times past level 20, the next time it dies to anything at all, it is permadeath for that character and you need to reroll it.
Permadeath for the account would be much more interesting.

Easy? Necro since it has the highest health pool and can use a minion to pull agro.
Fun? Do not use staff ele. I love ele and use staff for group events, solo it is not in the least bit fun.
Mesmer, is a huge blast at all levels for me (even created an assuri mesmer to test the latest patch and it was smooth).
Mileage may vary.
Personal story replayable by the same character, not really going to happen. Living story season one, probably will be brought back in some form, won’t be the same as the first time around though.
Sounds like you have issues.
How exactly have you been had? The stats have been posted a long time. If you crafted them you can’t suddenly claim they where something else. For such a huge investment in time I would kind of want to know before I started (which is why I got to 500 crafting and did not make the items).
How would you feel to pay 30k$ for what you think would be a luxury car only to find out you get a used honda? The effort in itself should justify an adequate reward. Hell ANY reward. This thing is a pink exotic…
You actually spend huge amounts of money on things sight unseen and expect sympathy?
EDIT: Honda’s used to be high demand street racing cars, which people would spend a lot more than 30000 on. Not sure if they still are though.
(edited by Yargesh.4965)
But GW2 is working, so your premise is inherently flawed.
Is it, though? Is it really?
From where I am sitting, yes it is.
So that’s it? You’ve been had haha, better luck next time?

Did a new collection open up when you got it?
Could someone with drawing skills make a cartoon with the personified A NET sliding down the slippery slope, riding a treadmill, digging their own grave, while at the same time shooting themselves in the foot? Throw in some RIP for each and every release since the start of the game and make sure they are hemoraging players. It does not need to make any logical sense.
Edit: if the are also picking the pocket and generally abusing a defenceless player all the better.

Easy, let forums steer the direction of the game.
Sorry, I am quoting this rather than the whole post because I want to look at this:

buried in the business/psychology terminology is a very repugnant business idea. By giving someone something, getting them accustomed to it, then removing it, and offering that item for sale is done daily by drug dealers. I find it interesting that this might be a plan for the future, but it’s also distressing. This means that more things that we enjoy can be removed, changed, stretched out to change the opportunity costs involved to tip more players into the gem store with real money than in game currency.
. . . I’m not seeing it happening so much for funneling you to the Cash-to-Gem-to-Gold triangle. I might be able to admit to seeing it done to try to get you playing further abroad and to “persuade” you to stretch wings out and go to places normally not even looked twice at.
And this is specifically talking about Trait Masteries. The NPE seems mostly fine, I’m not finding too much hard-locked which I really should be able to access. And the Elite skill return to 31 now makes it easier to look and go “not too much changed, despite a lot of it changing”.
I just don’t know . . . I’m not a mind reader, at least not at this distance and over the Internet. That requires Patrick Jane.
They destroyed Lion’s Arch to sell airship passes.
We got Lion’s Arch back… But services were spread out further and WPs are still contested requiring walking within a hub. From DR to bugged RNG, everything Anet has done is about monetization.
I will grant the guild bank changes all seem to have hte purpose of pushing people to buying bank/bag slots with gems.
If this was no so very sad it would be funny. He just flat out told you your conspiracy does not stand up. Good thing about conspiracies is that people who believe them never ever need to change their minds.
Even when they disagree they admit something smells in Chinatown
The he I was referring to is Chris Whiteside.
Yes, but you’re forgetting something. The assumption there is a conspiracy comes along with the need for those involved in keeping it to lie or spread disinformation to maintain that conspiracy. In other words, any denial is only supporting evidence there is a conspiracy, by the logic of the conspiracy existing in the first place.
This is just too bizarre to contemplate in a legal state of mind.

If you re-wrote this in a less round about way it is actually a good idea. Wading though it was not pleasant.
Then my skritt philharmonic orchestra and vocal choirs would lose their jobs.
This would be a bad thing because…..

clicking blocked tab takes how long?
This is from people complaining about Queen Jennah being barefoot, right?
:)
Think it means you can see them on new characters if you have one character that can see them.
Everybody that hates the NPE is going to take over the discussion after all the fixes have been released I believe. You’re going to see multiple posts by the same people that hate it, and it’s going to seem like a lot more people dislike the new changes, when in reality, it’s just those same people that really want to make their point across. And not that there is anything wrong with posting more than once, it is a discussion after all, but you get my point.
I mean you can see the evidence of it now, with people complaining in one thread over the subject, and then having some of those same people from that thread start up new threads on pretty much the same topic.
I do agree that some minor changes need to happen, but hopefully Anet doesn’t give in to the pressure and make a complete 180 to the NPE, because I believe some of these changes are good for the game.
So I can’t wait to chime in when all the fixes are done. Should be interesting.
I agree with you about this. I think it’s premature to gauge how NPE will play at the current time, because we do know changes are coming.
And yes, you do see some forum members making the same points again and again. That truly is not helpful to the review and discussion, in that the devs would prefer a focused, clear, concise statement rather than realizing “Wait, it’s that same person, saying the same thing for the 19th time.”
Glad that you have pointed out that they are being obvious and the result is negative (for them and the forums in general).
whats your opinion on the new changes, what if anything would you do to make it more attractive/informative for new players of various skill levels, and vets who dont have 1-20 scrolls?
Lol you are funny. I’ll bite though.
I know I have eight level 80s and I am not remotely the target of these updates.
I know I have taken a character from lvl 1-16 after the Sept patch and found the process smooth.
I know that the game is still enjoyable after two years for me.
I think the game could be expanded.
I think it will be.
I think they could improve pr but I think every company in existence could.
I think being personally insulated by a game is similar to being personally insulated by a tree. Smile, nod and move away from people who say that.so I take this as, you mostly dont care, but find NPE adequate for its goals. fair enough
Yes.

I am guessing flame bait for the usual suspects.
Only in WvWvW does server pop play any sort of role and that means if you do not want to do that form of PvP you don’t need to worry.
If you do PvP look at the WvW forums to get an idea of which server you may want.
Sooooo I heard that your mystic forge chances for a precursor are increased by the first two #’s in your account. Name
So in my case, increased by 76%.
No wonder I get such good returns.
Hand over eyes waiting for people to believe you Vol.
Read mogworld, gives a good game side view of players.
Reading the forums I think it is safe to say that it is completely impossible to underestimate people.
