gloves and mask are from LS, you can get them again now.
Mushroom farming at its best.
The assumption seems to be that everyone is in an order and that the orders want other order members freeloading in their territory.
Gw2community forces overflows all the time since it is often more than 150 people per attempt (3 attempts at wurm per day) trying there is always people who do not get in and would not get in anyway. They kill teq this way and they kill wurm this way. There are people from every EU server I think doing this and not once has the idea of guesting even entered into the discussion.
Keybind to deselect target! Sick of spamming Esc and having to contend with the main menu popping up dead center.
Click on the ground
Hate to break it to you but the world is round.
No, but I would love to have one for that and all other ascended mats.
If you have not build up any soulbound items then there is nothing stopping you deleting and transferring. It is a good way to move around low level accounts actually, just pointing out other options.
Unless you really need to play WvW together there is not reason to be on the same server. Just join party click on the character icon of your friend and join them in whatever zone you are in.
Every aspect of the game except for WvW can be done from all servers in the same district (EU or NA) you can’t guest or play together cross district/server farm.
LS big events came out about a year ago at about the same time champs where given a guaranteed loot bag. When they cam out people where on the forums demanding the loot be changed because people where killing the champs instead of finishing the event. As time went on ANET changed it to be a big reward for finishing everything and people complained that the champs dropped nothing. They have gone a little overboard in the latest release but it is what people asked for. Wait a bit and there will come again a day that people ask that there be no loot except at the end of the event.
Hmm, then why during the Boss Blitz do the last few bosses become impossible as players just give up and wander off and you’re left with only 2-3 players even attempting it anymore? Shouldn’t it scale back down to a small group threat at that point?
Hit all 6 at once and they don’t scale up the same way.
If you really want to leave then do so. Could have been 2012 or 2013, could be 2015 or 2050 if you are not having fun then the point of a game is lost. If the idea of fun is to hold on as tight as you can to something you really don’t enjoy well go for it as well.
you know, it’s actually pretty easy to do, code wise too.
considering you want to change your race you must agree to the following terms
1/ level 80 , personal story finished
2/your personal story is reseted to 0
3/ once you change your race you get no more rewards from the new personal story considering you got it from your last and it makes no sense , reward wise too, you still are lvl 80 and don’t need low level items, key , a few transmute charges you can skip, thus 0 rewards.
4/ just pick another personal story with no rewards, its a 0 or a 1 option in code
5/ cultural armor can have an npc that trades your previous race armor off you and gives you same tire , same class armorconsidering people that want race change care much more about the change than rewards, i don’t see why not
Yes, because programming changes in a live MMO is truly an easy task.
It is always amazing how easy things are.
Guaranteed that the same posters complaining about how silent ANET are will be posting how overhyped the release today was.
OMG! Confirmed everyone gets a free Legendary! WHOOO
We already do, at every monthly you complete. Even got 5 for having an account created before SAB back to school.
Wow! I thought I was the only one. Bank is getting crowded though, can only have 6 equipped per character plus spares.
Personally I used them up, but they are pretty to stare at I suppose. Weird that you can only have 6… I can hold over 25.000 on my character.
I mean physically equipped in slot, need room for the 10 precusors that drop from every world boss. Amazing how many people don’t do dailies though since demand is soooo good.

As Beldin says, you can do it on different chars, you only lose the bonus chest with rares that each boss gives.
A lot of well played classes can do more damage than warrior, it is just the mindset that they are the best at everything.
I am not sure what you mean by reward in you OP.
Elementalist may be what you are looking for.
You have 5 free slots to create and destroy, play/target dummy in sPvP as you get all stats to 80 and see what you can do.
Just run around the starter zones with each type you may be interested in to get an idea of weapons against PvE mobs.
They make enough money indirectly selling in game currency and dress up costumes that should’ve been obtainable through completing content.
This.
No need to make expansions when they make more than enough money already. No need to make a boxed expansion. They will definitely be expanding into new areas and content.
I hope you are right.
I know I am right.

what lordkrall said.
Sigh, but let me guess: You are insinuating that NCSoft would be earning a lot more money if only, IF ONLY, GW2 would adjust the game in the direction you want, correct?
overinterpretating a lot huh?
yeah, because it is very likely that is a news item for the economically interested and not yet another DOOOOM-thread.
But DOOOM sells papers! I mean gets forum responces.

This is the link to get to if you click on Support at the top of the page. Just select what you think fits from the various drop-down menus and write up the problem. They aren’t going to refund influence spent like this. It would be too easily gamed since support can’t remove the influence used.
Someone buys a letter of influence. Applies it to their guild. Contacts support, claims they put it on the wrong server. Support gives them them another. Apply to same or different server. Guildie buy a letter of influence. Applies it to the guild. Contacts support, claims they put it on the wrong server. Support gives them another. Apply to same or different server. Another guildie buys a letter of influence……
The op asked how to contact support. I personally don’t believe it can be resolved the way the game is currently set up.
What a neatly camouflaged recruiting topic. Quite lovely.
Don’t think so, there are too many people now that do not get into the event. There are enough that don’t get into the organized groups (2 english 1 german) that at least 1 more could be created if there where the commanders and ts facilities.
Wouldn’t you be better off talking to NiP and EVE commanders to find out? You are on the same teamspeak every night.
Agree with OP and most people in the thread. It would be okay if they dropped some cosmetics in the gem store, but adding nothing at all (in 2 YEARS) is pretty messed up.
Also, has anyone noticed that they started spamming that you can trade Gems > Gold? Looks like their gem purchases are going down. Surprise surprise.
Yeah that gems to gold becoming a staple to announcements comes across as pretty desperate and unnecessary.
People have been screaming in forums about gold sellers, maybe they want people to realize that you can get gems in game?

EU does it every day in multiple instances. You need to be in a guild that does it or TxS / GW2 Community and get on teamspeak.
I would guess it will be patched next week with the rest of the content patch.
When clicking on the support link on this page you get this.

You could also trade a lot of useless (largely worthless) materials at the Labyrinthine Cliffs last year for gold or a more useful crafting material.
I am hoping to offload loads of blade shards, ascended crafting junk and hopefully a shedload of mithril…
Since then the ‘useless’ cloth/silk/leather has become hugely profitable for people to sell. I also really hope the ascended stuff is added to the list.
The gauntlet and the jubilee champs came out the same time, the champs in the main part of the area where minions of Scarlet so they may not return. Above this where the queens testing area or the gauntlet that was not really controlled by Scarlet and would be able to come back unchanged.
The farming was killing the various gauntlet bosses for fairly large money rewards plus other drops. They where over in minutes and could be repeated as long as you had the tokens to get in (since tokens where rewarded it was not a problem if you could beat them).
straying into being nasty just to be nasty.
Returning yearly events have a nasty habit of returning yearly around the same time as the previous year.
First of all, it was 10 months ago, not a year. And 9 months ago for Queen Jennah’s Jubilee which opened up the Crown Pavilion. The Dragon Bash was 11 months ago, so if I was expecting any of them next, it should be that one right?
I honestly just had to look up in the Releases when all of this was, cause I didn’t remember. Just saying it’s quite a coincidence, but thanks for trying to be a kitten about it. =)
no worries. Keep up the good work.

So they knocked Lion’s Arch down just so we could build it back up?
Talk about a waste of development resources.
Wut?
Loved both of these when they first came out. Will be nice to go back to them for a visit.
It spawns in the middle or right beside a wp. If you don’t want to tag those wp’s I don’t really see it being a game issue.
I have exactly the same number of keys and precursors from mob drops, zero. This is from the headstart weekend until now playing for 3000 hours and not afking in the city of choice.
I overwrote the aetherblade shoulder and did not get it back. I also did not get the christmas back piece back that I overwrote. You could try contacting support, I did not since it would be nice to have them but far from essential.
Because Teq and THW are not “meta” bosses. They are World bosses meant to purposely be difficult to beat with an inexperienced group, and impossible to beat with a lack of numbers. Scaling down the event will not be done. Nor should it be done.
Being a challenge for experienced players is a must in this game. Dumb it down too much and it becomes boring. If they removed the predictability of Teq’s attacks, it would still be challenging. If you want a low-count boss to fight, there are plenty available. Teq and THW should remain untouched aside from bug fixes, like Teq chain burning glitch (which Anet claimed to fix, it’s not), and the spontaneous and random descaling of THW (which Anet claimed to fix, it’s not).
I agree with you completely on the first portion (difficult, if not impossible, to beat with an inexperienced group), but I disagree on the second portion (you must have X players to participate). The fundamental challenges of the Teq/Wurm encounter lie in the coordination and everybody performing their roles correctly. Beyond that, it’s just a matter of the Megaboss having insanely scaled up health and overleveled adds.
I think it’s frankly quite telling that the difference between “skin of your teeth” kills and “we killed Teq/Wurm with minutes to spare!” is always down to “did we spam Embers/Whistles/Mortars/Turrets?” That tells me that it’s basically just down to extra DPS, not out of any particular skill or effort from players. What’s the challenge in an encounter that’s made much easier just because lots of players spammed potions/summons?
A challenging boss fight should fail because the players screwed up somewhere (didn’t defend Turrets properly, did not properly coordinate the decapitations at the same time), not because you had X less people than the map cap or because people didn’t bring enough potions.
I’m guessing you don’t kill the Wurm often. You can have all the Fire Eles Powers and Ogre Whistles you want, but if one person isn’t in the correct position, it can ruin the whole run. So if 149+ players in the map all know what to do, all it takes is a single pug not following directions to pull the Wurm Head the wrong way, and you get an epic fail.
To sum it up, you need to DPS properly. Big difference from just having DPS.
The only fails now are because the condi teams could not keep the husks away from the burn, placing bombs somehow becomes disorganized or as Smooth Penguin pointed out someone not listening and pulling the wurm head all over the place instead of getting solid DPS. Pet whistles and powders do help but they are not the main thing that gets the event done.
Exactly! The fight failed because people screwed up; this is exactly what I’ve been saying and advocating for.
My point about the Embers etc. is that all they really do is help burn down the massive overscaled HP of Teq/Wurm faster, thereby making the different between a last second kill and a “minutes to spare” kill. That’s not really challenging, any more than having the Shaman/Caledon Wurm being massive HP punching bags that result in the zerg spending 3 minutes mashing 1 instead of 30 seconds mashing 1 was “challenging”.
The challenge of Tequatl/Triple Wurm can be preserved at lower numbers of people as at higher numbers; the encounter just needs to scale properly to take it into account. As Penguin said, all it takes is one person sending the Wurm off into the ocean or into the middle of the valley to mess up the fight, whether it’s with 30 people or 60 people.
For the record, I’ve been to 5 Wurm kills, out of about 14 total attempts with TTS. As a side note, I’ve noticed that success rates have gone up dramatically since the Megaserver’s introduction too.
Success is higher after megaserver with the final wurm’s head having about 75% health compared to before. They reduced the health either the patch before mega or 2 patches before mega.

says 2 weeks, what more do you want?
Character bound. They are good as road markers but if you don’t yet know what you are doing it is best to follow a commander around and see/learn what to do.
I’m not sure if this is what Anet wanted, but I’m thinking most players have either quit playing the game altoghether or quit playing pve (and play pvp/wvw only).
Im sorry….I wouldnt normally reply but id love to know where youre getting your information from, that most have quit and its due to the wardrobe. Its laughable to think that a major plus point of the content patch has driven people away. Its a great addition to the game and in my opinion has helped to draw people back.
I understand the issues regarding the new system compared to the old but in my opinion I think you can use the term ‘greater good’ here. Plus you can still get charges from map completion, a fact many leave out when talking about the wardrobe.
The player you have quoted has been saying people are quitting en-mass since the game opened. The reason why just changes every release. Just skim their post history.
Sounds like they’re artificially creating scarcity in an attempt to get more sales. I hate it when they do that.
I agree as if the prices weren’t high enough already.
Guess all those people who supported how they did the D3 style RMTAH can eat their words right?
The assumption seems to be ANET will profit from the skin going from say 50g to maybe 500g in 3 or 4 years. ANET will get nothing, the player that buys now will get the gold. The tax just vanishes, someone in the company does not have a bag of gold sitting on their desk that is magically created by the game.
Riiight like nobody buys gems for the express use of the gems to gold system. You do realize how wrong you are right?
Ok, I am sure a huge number of people will buy gems to buy an ugly skin that they will never use so they can in several years make a profit of gold in a game. There are people who will do this, just not a lot and I personally don’t believe ANET is basing their future income on it.

everything you can wear unlocks as a skin.
