Guilds can do this now. Go to where teq spawns, trigger event, done instant private instance.

You are just going to love the final boss in this story segment. My goodness it is a pain.

Have done it on Ranger, mesmer, ele and warrior. It is tougher on some (ele) but not a huge deal.

I don’t even have that turned on. I WASD to move and press E to dodge in the direction I happen to be going. Sometimes I change directions on a dime if need be. It’s easy.

I use WASD as well and find it easy just to double-tap whichever key I happen to be pressing, just a matter a preference.

I got colossus from one of gilded strongboxes (looted from a burried chest). I thought any box has his loot table with special exotics + random blue/green/yellow.

Maybe these gilded strongboxes act like a mob?

I think everything that has a chance to have an exotic gives a chance to get a precursor. You just rolled the right numbers.

You can show up 40 min before and get a guaranteed tea kill, 20 min before and have a greater than50% chance. All with pugs. You can champ farm, harvest mats (platinum is selling well), event farm, chat or whatever while waiting. This seems to be unacceptable to you but leaves me confused as to why. I have zero empathy for people who refuse to help themselves.

Waiting at bloodtide will not help you. You need to join a teamspeak group and go to the map that the event will be done on (if you can get in, it is very popular). EU is GW2community and TxS, NA is TTS that do it that I know of. Other groups do it as well but I personally don’t know them.

Go to the guild wars 2 wiki. They list the location of all events and NPCs that give heart questish things. The most fun for me was to wander around doing whatever event popped up which usually either finished or mostly finished the heart requirements for the area.
There is no fixed route to 80 and after 80 there is no fixed required activities. Many have problems with this, many love this aspect. It is unfortunately up to you to figure out what you enjoy and don’t enjoy and build your play time around that.

In game go to the tab in the Gem store that is farthest to the right. 1000 gems I believe.

Nah, screw fun, that’s for other games. Instead let’s think of ways how gathering would be the most boring and tedious task ever. I know, let’s make it so that gathering tools can only be used for limited time! And you must change the gathering tool depending what quality stuff you’re harvesting! Then let’s limit stack sizes! Then, as an insult to injury, let’s raise a paywall to lessen these handicaps.

1. so far everything is solo friendly. What happens along the way is pure speculation.
2/3. Divinities Reach is where a recap of sorts happened in the Dead End Bar. This will also flesh out who is in the group. For a better idea there are some fan done and ANET done recaps floating in cyberspace.
4. Personal story and new story arcs are not tightly tied together. You don’t need one to do the other.
5. There seems to be little personal dialog choices compared to before, there is a choice of where to go towards the end but you wind up in the same ending anyway.

Because whispering an entire server, or trying to cram them all into one guild, is a reasonable request.

A lot of MMOs have a world chat or such, so why not? I literally can’t see any downsides to this, so long as it isn’t in the main chat tab by default.

If you want to keep things secret (as the op indicated they did) maybe broadcasting to an entire server is not what is best.

If you have nothing to add to the conversation I’m trying to start, you could have just as easily said nothing at all or not even have clicked on the title. And perhaps if the search function on the forum worked properly I might be able to find a pre-existing post without scouring a ton of forum pages.

Never stated there’s no reason to join one. Just saying there is not much benefit outside of social, and guild missions. Its also problematic the game don’t priorities and leave slot open for guildies to come to bigger events like teq and wurm. Plus dungeons are at most 5 man, so you are bound to leave out some people that really wants to come.

How exactly would prioritising slots for Guildies solve anything? Pretty much everyone that goes to the Mega bosses is in a guild & would therefore have a slot prioritised for their fellow members.

Private what? Megaboss? because this game is not instanced. That would be counter-intuitive, wouldn’kitten It is hard to have the same boss as instanced and open world – one or the other not both.

You can create an event off time, guild needs to research it then when no one else is around start it.

Once every 2 weeks probably. That is armour and weapons and trinkets exotics. Last was a armour piece from a mob during defense phase of teq last week.

An inconvenience at worst, 1 champ box less per play time for me is not in any way significant. It may be for others but frankly I get enough greens from other chests and other sources.

The system now works for me. As posted above just don’t log in for 6 months to a year and then buy everything, get the new car smell plus pay for expansion all at the same time. Those players that played the whole time get what they want as well.

They will not answer. If it is coming you will know when it is released.

If you can’t survive in greens while levelling buy rares then exotics they cost about 10 silver. If you can’t survive in those you won’t survive in ascended.

Your vision is not big enough.
All mats kitten t6 to the max possible (with expanded storage), every skin unlocked to date, enough gems to crash the price down to 10s each.
If you repeat it often enough you can then say the company lied when these things don’t show up.

EDIT: I am going to leave the kitten in the above, it is just so cute.

OP first started complaining about the game 6 months ago. Not a lot of posts but all of them a complaint. They could join the dedicated forum complaint squad, or they could read any of several guides on what to do at 80.

Not even a tiny bit. Because, and I’ll be blunt, honest, and deal only in facts here (you can do with that as you wish) to make it clear.

Raiders comprise the smallest, by far, group in our game. PvMP players are far larger and even they are small. in fact together the two groups wouldn’t comprise 10% of the total player base and never have (this is important. it’s not a new thing, it’s a long standing historical fact).

Forum posters comprise a slightly larger group than the combined group of PvMP and Raiders. However, Raiders and PvMP players make up the overwhelming majority of forum posters (More than half. Though raiders are the smaller group of the two (PvMP/Raiders)). So you have a tiny group, inside a small group that is grossly disproportionately represented on the forums.

I fully appreciate and understand you won’t believe a word of this. That’s perfectly fine. It doesn’t change the facts of the matter.

Since all servers are now combined in PvE it does not matter. It does matter for WvW (group PvP).
