It has developed, can’t really give specifics since it would cover a lot of ground, just read the patch notes that are archived.
Aesthetics are the goal, nothing gives a boost that can be bought that can’t be earned in game.

Don’t really think it would add much to this game. The cap is the cap and variations are just play style. Bad play is bad play and no amount of armour will get you through it. Good play on the other hand can get you through a lot.

I am 100% PVE. I rotate through my lvl 80s in various areas and activities. I am bringing up my thief and necro to 80 very slowly, not too keen on them but they have a certain nagging charm. Living story is not just deeds, in southsun the event rotation is fantastic. If you want to farm it is the best place at the moment. Can also be used to level up low toons since events are popping literally faster than you can run, you also get the chance at event minis to top up your income.

Got a Norn female mesmer and it looks great, everyone has their own opinion though.

The only time I have a problem is during huge lag. The target could be anywhere. Since huge lag happens rarely for me I can’t say it is a serious problem The only time that a target will need to be retargeted is if it has stealth abilities, and it is working as intended.

Some of us are still getting 0 loot from champions even greys so not sure what’s going on there either.

They never promised laurels, they said they where going to do something but never said laurels.

Have you looked to see if they are on Southsun? All levels can go there for good exp and gold. Second or third character leveling there is a breeze.

This has already been put forward just in last few weeks. It is completely possible for you to have perma death. Delete your character.

They said blue or better, champs drop this now which is better than the zero drop from 99% of them before the change was actually in game.

look for the temples being active, as I said there are posts with open temples.

Top exotic have similar stats but different skins from dungeons and temples. Go to the wiki to see various looks and stats. Open temples are in several posts in players helping players forum. There are no weapon karma, just dungeon token and I believe wvw. Karma merchants are only open for a time then become contested again.

This is a personal preference type question since it is easy to find someone who thinks their particular class is easy as pie and someone else who can’t get control of it. For me mesmer, hunter and ele where easy to play because they where fun. Guardian is easy to play but I don’t enjoy it as much (have those 4 at 80). I am having trouble getting up enthusiasm to get thief and necro to 80. I have not tried engi or warror.

it’s useful except it’s annoying when you get locked into animation and can’t break out unless you dodge.

just moving breaks the animation no dodge required. Don’t really understand why anyone would wait around for the animation to end when you can keep moving on your circuit.

It is just after 4 in the morning at the company HQ, doubt we will hear much for several hours one way or the other.

The problem with trek is that of deciding who to reward. The first person on site closes that location, does only the first person get a reward or the entire guild online at that time? Badly implemented, but I am not happy with the entire guild activities implementation anyway.

I could just be a simple error in what the water fountain animation is tied to. Inserted the mining code instead of the plant harvest code. I really am not concerned either way since it is 100% convenience and nothing else.

I like this game but this pace probably won’t keep up. I saw a post by Colin in one of the discussions about lag time between development and implementation. Any bump/glitch derails the process a long time forward.

Loaded questions really are a bad idea. “Are you still beating your wife?” is and extreme example of this but your question follows that trend.

Watch this for a reason to be hesitant at using survey’s. Old but still valid.

I said it provided the best data. I said nothing about how these data where interpreted. That is up to the company. If they do a bad job of it they do a bad job and I find a new game. People not coming into the game to match those leaving is a pretty good indication that something is seriously wrong. It should not come to that stage but it has in the past and will in the future. I have no doubt this game is not at that stage, and hope it continues to avoid it.

I have played a couple of games that did ingame surveys. It did not make a noticeable difference in anger levels on forums and not much difference in my play habits. All that happened was people complained that the survey did not cover the ‘right’ things. They complained that they believed something but the survey allowed people who did not agree with this to vote which is obviously wrong. And the list goes on. They get more and better data by looking at what people actually do in game rather than what people say everyone does in game.

Doesn’t interact with the client so it is not a mod. It is the same as having a window open in the background and checking that.

There are no mounts but lots of people refusing to take the official responce that no mounts are planned for the game. You can do a forum search for all the hitting head against wall you can stand.

I personally think they went to Denmark to celebrate the eurovision win. As has been said, find any game in existence that does not have empty zones. If you find it play it.

I am on High pop server, but the game still feels kinda empty in certain zones. There’s almost everyday someone in Southsun, but as for Orr or some 15-25 lvl zones, they feel kinda dead. Sure, you might see person or two doing an event once in a while, but most of the time you’re just going solo.

My guess is that bunch of people left the game, I know since I had a small guild with 80 people, and nowadays I’m the only person that logs on almost on daily basis.

Where did all the people go? What drove them away, did they quit or is it just me?

They where soulbound as long as I remember, the dungeon tokens are account bound. You just pay with the tokens on whichever character you want the armour on.

I have never gotten top zone level items as far as I remember. Always with rares and exotics anyway 2-4 levels below top level of zone. This means it is impossible to get precursors from completions.

it is good to get rid of greens to occasionally get rares. To get a precursor it is meaningless.

I love my ele but have more fun on ranger. I also do my dungeon runs on ranger.

I would completely agree with this.

You have five slots to play with, you can also go to the mists and play with builds at max level. Personally I just messed with the 5 slots and leveled them all at random.
