I don’t necessarily agree on your trait choices since i believe you give up too much damage, but i’ve been too used to a dhuumfire-terror-geomancy burst build to really give anything else a chance.
What you give up in damage you more than make up for in survivability. Methane uses a really tanky spec if you run it right. It is good stuff and I recommend it.
ANet could just give the home server 1 waypoint fo each area. On EB and your BL you get the waypoint in the keep close to spawn and garri. Have a different upgrade for the other keeps. It would still give people an advantage at defending their bl(and make it a heck of a lot easier to stop golem rushes), but not a tool to port around 40 times.
The attackers in a bl could get a totally different upgrade. Say I captured your keep, maybe I get 1 minute of swiftness from leaving this keep. You could get something that might make it easier to go on the offensive.
I heard Anet is reseting everyone’s World Rank to 100 when they go live with world rank being account bound. This way everyone starts fresh and “fair”. To ease the pain of losing your world rank, they will add in a leaderboard…
We don’t talk about things that are that silly on the forums. If you say those things they might come true.
That is also a bad guard build but the necro build is to bad that the guard should win. Sigils of burning do not stack btw. You also shouldn’t really be playing for your burning on a guard. The damage is far too low to try to buff it.

If this was a troll post you did a terrible job. If this is a real build I would suggest starting from scratch because that was not good at all. Check out some of the posts around the forums for wvw builds as a start to work off of.
I would complete all the starter areas too. They take a few hours to complete if you rush and the pve isn’t bad. Don’t bother doing the weapon or armor smithing professions. Too expensive to be worth it. You can level through spvp now if that is your thing,
A great long time rival during the stale matchup days. As a member of ET i say fergies are a great server. If i’m not mistaken they are the only server to never rise above tier 7, but they still have many loyal wvwers despite the odds. I’ve had many victories against them but they are definitely a server that knows how to rebound as well despite how i put them down :P. Hope to see a matchup between ET and FC again I’d love to stomp some of u again XD.

I really wish builds like this with the focus become popular so I can finally encounter at least one decent Ele with the focus off hand in WvW. I have hear there are a few out in lower tier servers but so far 0 from tier 1.
Deeez is the only good focus ele I’ve fought, and that’s from playing every server from kitten t8.

The only thing I can come up with is for bunker minion masters who want to heal their minions. You will lose blood fiend but the heals could make your other minions live longer. It is better than well of blood sincit isn’t range bound. I didn’t test it though.
Only works with players. Minions and pets don’t count.
I actually agree, as the one soloing the camps, that they should be harder to take. I can solo a couple of them – depending on configuration, in about 40 seconds. With the 30 second lead time for white swords, that leaves no time to respond if you aren’t already there. Defend? Sure, you should. But you aren’t rewarded for defense of camps, so only people like me who don’t care do it. It is just too easy though. It should be harder. If you need a small group to take an undefended camp then you are doing it wrong.
More depressingly for me though is the dolyaks themselves. Quite often I run them to our keeps and stealth thieves or regen rangers will run in solo and snipe down the doly and there’s really nothing I or the guards could do about it. You would need a 2)3 man team to protect them at minimum, and ANet has made it very difficult to get support for that activity by not rewarding doing it. Dolys and their escorts desperately need more upgrades to help balance against the classes that migrate towards that activity.
They could add a mastery that would cost very little and didn’t stack with more people. If you are in the area of the doly it would get swiftness, regen, and even armor buffs. If you had 4 or 5 into the mastery chain it would be impossible to kill the doly without killing the player. Only real way to make escorting dolys worth the time and effort. People can’t be able to kill the yak in 3 seconds.
It is extremely easy to solo camps as a necro. Use condis and its over. Full zerker necros also have little trouble if you use well of suffering and spam lifeblast.

That sounds like a challenge. Sadly I have not found any IoJ roamers worth a kitten either(except those buns jerks). Those zergs seem to be getting in the way.
Different strokes for different folks. What you perceive as the reality can be different from mine. I’ve been going around the BL and hardly seeing any of my own people but zergs of both DH and FC. You may be playing on EB, thats an entirely different animal.
Just an observation is all. Have you recently fought servers in higher tiers, up to rank 7? Thought not. Sure they have a larger population base so it goes without saying youd see more people but there were more roamers. Both DH and FC seem to stick to their zerg balls for the most part, rarely do i see people deviate unless theyre in a guild group. IoJ on the other hand has a lot more solo/small group people.
The problem where they get knocked prone is due to hitting terrain and not being able to pull them further. The pull towards them is due to reflect and getting hit by the grasp yourself. That last bit was intended while I’d bet the first was not.

Im friends with a lot of the Yarr guys and we (SS) and them are pretty much equally skilled, so I enjoy when my buddies kick another guilds kitten (badly!). Especially when the guild in mention runs hammer trains and lacks skill individually...

are you sure I can just straight up “block” the condi bomb? I have tried many times. Also my mesmer distortion and warrior invulnerability only seems to apply to physical attacks. I am no expert but the point I’m getting at is it’s always been easier for me to mitigate damage from a zerker class than from a condi spec.
I think you are wrong on mitigation. most condi skills are unblockable and not affected but things like invulnerability or distortion or retalition or reflection. only thing that really works is perfectly timed dodge or getting out of range.
or ANY build there is nothing that hurts me more than a condi necro. I can fight 1v5 or 1v10 on mesmer and survive a very long time, but if there is even 1 necro in the group I’m kittened.
Most necro skills are blockable unless you trait for the unblockable marks. Most people don’t trait for that and marks are not the biggest form of condi application for necro. Invulnerability works just fine as well. Reflection hurts mesmers, engis and thieves. Distortion also works fine.
Necromancer’s signet of spite (Inflict bleeding, blindness, crippled, poison, vulnerability, and weakness) aka one button to win, especially if u’re the victim and you’re outnumbered

the point is that it blocks effective condi removal by putting so many different conditions at once, just getting stacks is useless without filler condi to block removal

In a large groups conditions get removed very quickly. They usually wind up dealing quite a bit less damage than direct damage (as morrolan pointed out).

Food is supposed to be a bonus, a buff according to your play-style. And as a bonus, the 40% Condition duration is overpowered compared to others.
Single Conditions aren’t really an issue imo, but Condition bombing is. And currently every skill in the game seems to add some sort of Condition, mostly more.
Agree. + Rare Veggie Pizza is around 8 silver nowadays, if u want to counter it with lemograss u have to spend almost 30 silver (1 silver /min, is the hotline of gw food!)
Ok u can use pultry and leek soup but is 36% reduction.
koi cake is like 1.4 silver and same thing as rare veggie.
1.4 silver countered by 30 silver.
and using koi cake is useful against every class, while the counter is only really useful against condi bulds.
The counter is useful against all immobilizes, weakness, vulnerability and cripple spams that most classes can do. Those all help power specs lock people down and crush them. They are much better than people make them out to be.
Condis are not useless in zergs but condi duration is hardly helpful. 20 seconds on that bleed that will get stripped in the next 4? Excellent. Power runs the zerg and I don’t think anyone can debate that.
The big problem is that there is the imbalance between condis in small group(lets say less than 5) and large group aspects. My necro is phenomenal in small groups and when taking out a single target. The damage is monstrous. If you put it in a zerg I’d much rather use a power spec. I can still strip the boons and what not but Im able to actually hit the enemies for more than 4k damage.

Anecdotal and can not be demonstrated. I would suggest SF had greater numbers then us . When I did manage to get into Ebay we had a number of servers that had bigger numbers then us. There were weeks I went to all maps and got the outnumbered on at least two of them and in particular those first few days with SF.
Since the numbers are fluid it hard to accurately claim one server outnumbers all the others in WvW. One more time if a servers guilds work together more then any others and pull in guilds from other servers then they can give the “appearance” have having grater numbers as they get local number superiority as needed.
I recall one night in our OWN Borderlands having lost Garrison because we were outnumbered. I can not recall the enemy but they were well dug in and we had a treb set in Nwest tower. We had three guilds working to try and get it back and two were pulled to go to another map for an emergency. The one remaining was asked to stick around and give the impression we were still there in numbers so that enemy remain dug in.
If those guys in Garrison came out they would have wiped us. We just kept hitting and retreating giving the appearances that we still had numerical advantage, That enemy remained glued in Garri even as they outnumbered us until those other guilds returned from the other maps.
Now in a case like this those people in Garri think we outnumber them. We did not. As it turned out those two guilds that rushed to that other map bounced to a second to salvage a keep in trouble before they got back to us. In both those cases the receiving end would think “They outnumber us”.
The fact was maps were stripped to gain that advantage.
Now the need to do this waned later in the season. This again the bandwagon effect kitten experienced with that sudden drop in numbers.
That day of the Golem rush I was in our own BL all evening. We had the outnumbered all that time with less then 20 of us on the entire map. All of those people that FC saw came from other maps and were in fact attracted in those numbers just be wanting to SEE all those golems. They might not have come over in such numbers were it not for those Golems.
Of course it is anecdotal, anet doesn’t release the numbers. I don’t know why you would bother arguing this fact. I guess there are just two HoD players that are delusional enough to believe that they can get into more maps that are not queued therefore HoD has less numbers. FC managed to queue 3 maps during our last encounter with HoD. HoD queued 4. During the second to last week HoD queued multiple borders (4 according to various friends I have on HoD) while FC managed a solid 1. HoD can also queue EB throughout the course of the week where FC barely manages to queue 1. FC also has a larger population than anyone but DH and SF. People from other servers say that HoD has the largest numbers and those people have been from SF, DH and smaller servers like DR too.
These are all either very strange phenomena or HoD has the largest wvw population. You can take your pick but know that almost everyone on here thinks you are a troll or are blind to everything but that 1 skill.
What you may have heard is not always the case of what in fact happened.
The only night all 4 maps were queued were those first two weeks of league. A number of other servers had this problem in Bronze as was reflected on these boards when people claimed they could not get in due to the PVE masses seeking their achievements.
It was not just HOD that had those issues. Once those numbers tailed off as they did for all servers, the only time I ever had to queue by recollection was for EB. Reset night might have seen 3 of the 4 maps queued but I always managed to get in without a wait into at least one.
Regardless, HoD had the highest population in bronze league by far.

Fun for you, yes. There is no incentive for others to be on the 5 man team because if they win they can’t brag and if you lose you have not only a great excuse but if you down one of them you also get to brag. I really don’t want to put a comma in that sentence.
IMO, it’s fine to learn from other player’s youtube videos and incorporate their play-style in your own. The issue is when you think you’re God’s gift to guild wars because you beat others in 1v1s using a standard strong build. If you win a duel, win with grace (unless it’s against Y Not or Krabs THOSE SCRUBS NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON).

Can you link what build you are using or at least describe it? The general rule is to run around and wait while berserker stance is up. Once that is gone I just make sure I slowly use my CC. Remember that on most condi spec scepter 3, off hand dagger 1(when they try to cripple you). staff skills 3 and 5 (4 when they cripple you), and DS 2, 3, and 5 are all CC. If you space these out and only use 1 at a time that warrior will have a very difficult time following you. Tie in skills like corrupt boon for when he applies a bunch of swiftness or stability and you have a very deadly warrior killing build.
Just make sure you don’t spam and watch for cripples to transfer. If you do that the warrior should just die to conditions you apply while on the run.
If you give us the build you are running we can help you a lot more easily.
Your actual health bar is what is affected. If you have 95% health and 25% DS, it will still be the same as if you have 95% health and 100% DS. This is also true for you have 95% health and not being in DS.

Easy fix delete low population servers till all servers are full. Why Anet didn’t roll out one server at a time is beyond me. That way all servers will have equal initial populations. People won’t be able to migrate to best server and equal population distribution. People of deleted server get free move.
