A handy list I made after making a new character on a newbie account I bought during the sale.
What You Can Do At Level 1:
Dodge
Dye Armor
Harvest Materials (go into the city when you get outta the first story and buy some Gathering Tools form a crafting master)
Craft Items (just talk to the guy like before and learn the discipline)
Use the Trading Post
You can Visit Vistas AND PoIs you just aren’t directed to them.
WvW or PvP (Use Hot Keys to open the panels or go to LA from Home City to access the Asura Gates)
Can Use Wardrobe just open it up
Can use Minis
Can Access your Bank/Guild Bank
Can Access the Guild Panel Hit G
Can do Jumping Puzzles (I did Morgans Spiral at level 3 and the secret troll one at level 2 just to see)
Can Map Complete and get rewards for it.What You Can’t Do:
The Combat stuff is true and locked behind a leveling curve that is significantly increased (It only took me 30 minutes to get to level 10 where all my weapon skills for ALL weapons were unlocked)
At level 13 about 45 min into a new character I unlocked my first Utility skill and as such unlocked Skill Point Challenges. Also, you can use Knowledge Scrolls at any level to learn new healing skills if you don’t like the first one.
You also unlock the 1-10 Personal Story at ten and can do the whole arc at once. I did that at level 13 and it got me to level 17 and have a LOT of nice goodies and included the Black Lion Key.
Diving Goggles in Starter Zones (Item bundle, this one is weird but meh)
This! Up here!
Only thing that is level gated is hints/tutorial menu for each feature function/ visibility on map in game.
Get it through your skulls! Maybe you all need these changes, as you don’t listen?
I would only be for this, if and only if, content is not put behind it. If it s just conveniences/boosts like what the cash shop is currently, then its ok.
If it isn’t, then you bet many will leave this game.
PSO 2 has this system in place and its never even required to get ahead, or get into new content ever!
I miss the squirmy one where she puts her hand on her hips and kicks the ground a bit and rubs her thighs together.
What’s a red penality?
when you die (after being downed) a colored skull appear to the bottom left corner of you health circle. It goers from grey→yellow→ red. Every minute of non combat or time without a downed period, it wears off.
You get less health per downed state the more (deeper color) of penalty you have. Red is usually almost no health for downed or very little (based on traits), like 5-10%. So red = You die period!
Welcome to GW 2, where even with downed state you can still be defeated if your downed penalty reaches red.
No squirmy squirmy “I have to pee or something!” animation? Aww I miss that! I have no idea what it was supposed to be though, no one else did either and it was what was fun about that idle animation everyone was wondering what it was.
I approve of these changes as we will eventually have an end to the brain dead and “press 1 to get loot”/“only wear Zerker” players we see plaguing the game. I have enough lv 20 scrolls to bypass most of the tutorial stuff now added to the game for three brand new characters.
I just hope it gets even better for new players and the game teaches them how to dodge properly use conditions/condition removal/healing skills and combo finishers and fields.
As I will be willing to teach them myself if they weren’t so clueless and can’t listen. I’m sure many vets feel the same way I do too.
If it was possible to do this, many other games would have already found a solution, and I feel like it almost certainly wouldn’t resemble anything like what I see in this feature pack.
Many games found a solution. It was the 8-bit 16-bit era of gaming the golden age of games that had the tutorial masked into the game play.
Games like Mega Man X series and Super Metroid had this and it wasn’t forced or flawed or even too blatantly obvious. You learned as you explored with environmental cues and everything. I’m not sure any modern game has done that to date.
There is a guy on You Tube called egoraptor that explains this in his discussions about games from this era and he is right about it most times.
GW 2 could use a more environmental cue based way to learn things.
Right now what we have I believe is the best we can do for now.
I see teh irony perfectly loud and clear and I’ll be laughing when I enjoy every moment of this new change and they are all behind us in the dust, unable to compete from lack of core skill to play well in PVP PVE and WVW. I should be even rolling a new toon and brushing up on core game mechanics. I sucked hard in the last living story step of the Dragon Reach Part 2.
Gone are the days of press 1 and wear zerker and stack and skip mobs!
Find and do normal Events and explore. Like you did on day one like all of us. Its why the changes exist now cause you can’t figure it out for yourself. Sorry to say it, but its true.
I approve of these changes as we will eventually have an end to the brain dead and “press 1 to get loot”/“only wear Zerker” players we see plaguing the game. I have enough lv 20 scrolls to bypass most of the tutorial stuff now added to the game for three brand new characters.

Its too much hand holding is why, we knew to heal by what your character says at low health (50% and 25% respectively) and your health bubble.
What should be done is teaching new players (and vets that still don’t this) about blast finishes and other combos stuff including fields. A proper tutorial for once that isn’t forced either.
“The Asura think they are safe, but I know that the Drgaon can make a huge vine and hit their floating cube out of the sky like a voleyball!”
Anet should keep the b2p model, except….they should also add a subscription for the hardcore players. Everything should stay the same as it is now for those who only want B2P. That includes newer content in the future.
However, if you CHOSE to pay the $15 a month subscription, then you can earn 200% more gold, karma, and laurels from anything that gives those currencies. You should also get a 40% discount on everything in the gem store at all times. And at the end of each month you should get a free Black Lion Ticket. I use the percentages to make my point; I’m sure my math isn’t right.
The idea is to avoid P2W, or the pressure that you must pay to get all the cool stuff. Instead, the mindset should be that for those who really want more content and love the game can offer a way to support a constant cash flow for Anet while being compensated with what I mentioned. That way subscribers get a little more love for their rewards, but not exclusivity.
Everybody wants more content, because this game is awesome! For the haters of subscriptions, think about all the Chinese players…the Asian market is much more open to subscription than the Western! Just imagine the profits Anet! Are you hiring?
So you want PSO2’s Premium mode? With no detriment/penalty withheld to content for even free players?
I can live with that as long as no content is locked behind premium as this game could use more support for content.
I stated this in my last post and only way it will work is if we all get equal treatment for content access whether we pay for premium status or not.
Anet is trying to avoid such pitfalls and has been for more than 10 years now.
Nah. If you were dead in one area you didn’t come back alive in another (unless you used a waypoint). Since I didn’t use a waypoint, I stayed dead if I was dead in a dungeon. This occurred as intended when I DCed and came back still dead outside a dungeon.
The problem here is leaving an area by log out alive, then being killed when coming back in game. It originated in fractals.
Mind blown? Am I the only one who likes GW2 a lot more than GW1?
GW1 frustrated the hell out of me with its missions where you have to restart everything over on the first wipe. Then you get tons missions especially in Factions where you have to keep Leeroy Jenkins alive. Just frustrating. I didn’t even finish War in Kryta. The only reason I kept playing was because I’m an armor set addict and I wanted the Heritage armor set for my GW2 character.
This isn’t to say that there’s nothing in GW1 I wouldn’t like to see the devs bring over to GW2. Far from it. Elite skill hunts were very cool, subclassing was very interesting, the number of viable builds was impressive, heroes would be super cool in GW2 instanced content, the variety of skins was such that whatever look you had in mind, GW1 had something for you. I could keep going, GW1 had a lot of very good ideas that should be brought over to GW2, but so far I had more fun with the second game by a long shot.
Yes, you’re the only one.
Also for anyone buying this, the correct order is Prophecies (Tyria) -> Factions (Cantha) -> Nightfall (Elona) -> EotN (Tyria GW2-tie-in)-> the GW:B stuff (WiK (Tyria) -> HotN (Tyria) -> WoC (Cantha)). If you ever finish all that, expect to feel like the story just dropped off, and then you’ll see why the Lore subforum is always so angry.
I regret doing prophesies first. As Yumiko’s ancestor Yumiko is not Canthan looking and it costs 10 dollars real cash to change her appearance to that of factions characters.
I’m glad gw 2 freed up character creation and not gated it behind one of its campaigns and which one you started in. Unless they fixed it now…
Oh I know, I have you problems and more. But I’m quite patient too and I can do a lot on my own. I just gave up on dungeons as well because of that facts you pointed out here.
I can’t finish my ascended gear cause I need to do dungeons and fractals. Nor can I get the nice skins I want for my alts cause of the crap I have to deal with when pugging.
I do have an army of 3 80s though and 3 20s as well.
I’d like to add that although the new TP is a great update… I was disappointed that a “trade” function was not introduced (either through the TP or the same system as GW1). Rather than dealing with Gold for all transactions, I thought it would be great to offer up items for trade, which would make for great global skin unlocking help.
Just food for thought…
Just form a trade guild with people you trust and mail with them (take screens before every mail).
It seems like the bug from fractals returns to all game wide!
It was a bug with fractals where people logged out to repair mid fractal and still be able to rejoin group as long as you didn’t leave party. Also you can still do this now, its not an exploit, but you died as a side effect which was the bug. It happens in wvw and everything else instanced/another map now.
Its Yumiko! I have to say she is my best looking. I only play humans with one femalenorn and an Asura.
I’m also a Canthan nut, so any human I have must be of Asian appearance or from Canthan heritage.
I been playing Phantasy Star Online 2 JP (Sega’s flagship rpg series/mmo) for a while now and its a F2P, (with a B2P package for the physical game with a month of premium status and some promotional stuff) with a cash shop jam packed only with cosmetics and boosts like we have here. There are some pay walled stuff like you need premium to trade for high level gear (rarity level 10+) reset characters and the like, more skill slots, and to trade between players and also own your own shop to sell on, (you can get a 3 day pass for free by doing scratch offs and its fairly common to drop), but all the gear is obtainable in game very easily, its more like being impatient and buying a legendary by buying gems-> gold-> get legendary than really being pay to win. And you can just remake your two free character slots if you messed up or get free all reset passes when they make balance changes (which happen every 2 months or less).
The housing system (you get a useless free tiny room by default) is also locked behind premium, but you can purchase 3 day passes in game using a easy to get token and stack them up to 90 days total, so its no big deal either. The scratch off system also gives the 3-day passes fro the room away pretty regularly too.
I was never pressured to ever buy premium or anything to enjoy the game or get further. Same goes for here. I never had to buy gems but i did buy cards and expanded my inventory, etc. ( you can do that there too). Premium is never needed for the content as all content, levels and gear is free and open to all.
Only draw back with their model, is that you can’t use in game money for their cash shop credit. It was reasoned this way to stop these gold farmers we have so bad here (no exchange system for game money to real money/credit and the gold farmer quit and leave). And I stand behind that, but that’s a different point and off topic.
This game, is by far was the most generous and balanced in terms of treating the people that wish to pay and those that don’t fairly. If I had a job, I’d buy 90 days of premium (and expand all my character’s inventories) to show my love of the company, but only once.
Still though nothing can compare to how Arena Net and GW 2 has handled their game. I would kill to have a real housing system and more robust crafting, etc that these other games have, but I can wait for side content like that.
I always come back here for more.

I cannot stress this enough. There are tons of us that are organized and dedicated to running this daily for several hours a day and doing it right. We run the event, stack up, gets tons of loot and have tons of fun. We complete the event if even one person needs the achievement. If you’re there for LS, you’ll get that too whether it fails or succeeds.
The difference here is this:
If you fail the event the respawn timer is 5 minutes.
If you complete the event the respawn timer is 20 minutes. When you complete the event you have 20 minutes. So what happens is is that someone tags up and runs champtrain on Drake, Wurm and Troll. We wait for Quaggan Queen and Trio to pop. We do those while we wait for Coil to respawn. Once it respawns, we head there, complete it and repeat.
I absolutely do not see the issue here, other than ANET using the complaints of toxicity in those few maps as an excuse to justify them fixing the event so that we aren’t too lucrative because, again, they want you to struggle for loot so you eventually cave and buy gems.
YOU ARE 100% WRONG HERE. And here is why:
Problem here is that the LS progress does not happen if it fails period! IT IS BUGGED!
You can’t just walk in and touch the statue, even though you can press f, it doesn’t update, and get progression to next part of the story. The event must be a success and then you must touch the statue to destroy it. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
This right here is the cause of so much arguing and toxicity. There are those that want to complete it (like i did and got grief) cause it can’t be done without a success and they know its bugged for the Living World/Story. The post LS chapter achievement does need a success though and both progression first time through the story and this aforementioned (finish what you started) achievement are looking to the same code/pointers/whatever. This is the major problem here with both sides of this argument and community.
I’m still hearing that the achievement needs a success only, but it seems both normal progression (to unlock next part) and the achievement (only unlocked after that chapter is finished) are both on the same line of code. So in reality, its the company’s fault here.
Anet said they will be fixing it for better or for worse, but I can at least be glad you all got what you got for the toxicity.
(edited by Yumiko Ishida.3769)
They need to propose a fix for the LS related events that are being intentionally failed.
1. No failure based additional events anymore, Just you failed! Try again! That will fix farmers/griefers.
2. better way to locate friends on maps to see if you are in the right shard (green blips on map like in WvW for allies?)
3. Able to craft everything with crafting. A use for jeweler again finally?
People farming failures of events for loot and champions?
It been a big problem seeing many events (new and old) now are needed for Living Story progress on the past two installments. Especially the Svanir area in Frostgorge Sound.
I expressed my concerns about it in this thread too.
I logged in today to have many of my settings lost or changed on the options. Like set to default for many functions such as auto loot and AoE looting and targeting, dodging, etc.
I noticed it today when going into EotM
A word of advice to devs: Don’t have any failure routes that are more rewarding than the success routes. I’m sick of people forcing stuff to fail and talking trash to those that want it to succeed especially for the current living story, The Dragons Reach: parts 1 and 2!
Kessex Hills with the Toxic Alchemist (old lingering living world content from season 1) and Frostgorge sound with the Vigil Attacking the Svanirs to destroy the totem (which needs a success to account as credit for the LS step).
For the latter event: People like to make fail to farm the champs and spawn champs to fight over and over when people that need LS credit can’t get it done cause it keeps failing.
Changing shards doesn’t help as the next shard in this blasted kitten we called megaserver has another big group doing the same thing causing failure to get rewarded.
Its not proper game play and it hurts those that want to play honestly and do the content how its meant to be done.
I barely was able to do the LS step I needed by having help (one fellow like-minded party member) and ruining it for the farmers by killing the last champ.
Please Anet fix events so failure means failure. No more alternate paths unless they have worse outcomes and worse loot.
The bigger one last longer and is supposedly stronger.

I wanted to discuss with anet and fellow rpers about Omadd’s machine existing inside the main map of Tyria, and how it should/should not be addressed by characters ICly…
…Okay, must resist head canon. Let’s start discussing how it should be treated ICly and hopefully a dev can help, because it’s going to be annoying trying to ignore something that’s clearly in the main world.
I’m an RPer on the TC server. Let’s see if I can help clear things up!
There is an unspoken “Anti-Snowflake Rule” on the TC server. A “snowflake” in GW2 RP terms is a RPer who creates a character whose storyline follows the PS / LS exactly without any deviations. In the eyes of the community, this is considered bad form because it expresses lack of creativity on the part of the RPer.
Some of us are of the opinion that the Fair Use Rule should apply to PS / LS. Nolo.com, a law website, defines Fair Use in this way:
“Under the “fair use” rule of copyright law, an author may make limited use of another author’s work without asking permission. "
You can read more about the Fair Use definition right here: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/fair-use-rule-copyright-material-30100.html
Now here is my personal opinion (as an RPer):
Anything that happens in GW2’s open world is fair game for RP (including Omadd’s machine). World events can affect characters in zillions of different ways.
Using the NPCs for your character’s profile or for an RP campaign is a sticky subject and a grey area. The same goes for using information from the story instances. When it comes to this stuff, use common sense. For Example: If you play Sylvari, it makes sense that your character would know Trahearne because he is an elder brother to every PC salad. If your character is not Sylvari, you would have to come up with a very, very convincing explanation for why and how your character personally knows Trahearne. If your story isn’t convincing at all, alot of RPers won’t Rp with that particular character.
Keep in mind that not everyone in the RP community shares these opinions including some RP guilds. If your not sure if you should use references to PS/LS then ask permission from the RP group that you’re involved in.
Due to the lack of in-game moderation, the use of PS / LS references can cause one to become the target of elitist RPers and lore police. This is especially true for the Tarnished Coast server.
Be prepared to use your block list if an RPer starts bullying you via whispers in-game. I was subjected to these type of players during the Battle of Lion’s Arch because I tried to organized an in-game RP event that involved dynamic (or mobile) Rp while working on the meta. Many of these lore policemen never RPed with me before and they bashed the event before knowing all the details. I still managed to pull off my event in secret with other Random RPers. Some of the non-RP gamers saw what we were doing and wanted in on the action. At the end of Battle of Lion’s Arch, I got so many thank you mails and whispers from regular gamers because I helped to bring life to the event.
If you are an RPer from the Tarnished Coast server and see me on the map, feel free to interact with my characters at any time. If I’m too busy atm, I’ll whisper you. Most of the time, I’m open to random RP (esp. stuff that is related to the Living Story). I play two Sylvari characters:
(1) Lapis N. Lazuli — His profile can be found here: http://www.guildwars2roleplayers.com/home/m/2737230/viewthread/14016844-tc-lapis-n-lazuli-wip
(2) Sweet Lazuli — Her profile can be found here: http://www.guildwars2roleplayers.com/home/m/2737230/viewthread/10233986-tc-sweet-lazuli-wip
FYI — Lapis’s profile does reference the events in LS. If you need to ideas on how to integrate the current events into your character’s profile, feel free to check out his profile. Lazuli, his wife, is also used for LS-related RP. She hasn’t been affected as much by the world events, but she is interested in studying those vines. The Mordie vines seem so similar to the stuff found in TA and the Nightmare Tower!
Thank you for this. This is kinda what I try to do as well. You weren’t in RPCD guild were you?
Mechanics != lore multiple commanders exist cause we have to buy it (100 gold) and with experience shown through battle (if you actually farm every token in wvw) and such. Sure you can buy gems and make gold that way… but we the heroes probably got the fame and fortune enough to afford it by now lore wise or it was given as a title and show of power to use cause of our leadership qualities that makes a good commander.
Also what’s to say we all didn’t kill Zhaitan all at once in a huge battle… only reason we have the “Pew pew! Press 1 and 2! Dragon dead!” thing is Anet can’t make a proper dragon fight.
When I RP and mention these events off hand in character(like going down memory lane), I will say it in a way that makes it sound fair to all in that we all killed the dragon when it came time “10 of thousands of heroes and adventurers came in response to the pact’s need from all their divisions and companies and orders and we took it down! It was a glorious day indeed!”
Also the commander bit:pops up tag (remember mechanics not equal to lore)<-ooc IC: I’m a commander of the pact, shows proof of it with her certificate and 100 gold retail value training manual but its nothing special as there are 100s of us out there leading or own small groups to war against the EDs at any given moment. Just having this book sin’t enough you have to prove you are up to the task at hand and lead or it will be you and who you command tat will be dead."
There are logical ways to explain it. Just don’t think there isn’t cause you can’t use critical thinking.
On Scarlet Briar: We could have all stormed her before she got away or she died on the spot. Majory getting hurt is another story…they (the biconics) could have went in the inner chamber and exploded shrapnel got her.
On the machine problem: Remember again Mechanics !=Lore the world is much larger than we see it in game. Any one of us could have encountered that machine in our travels (and reached it by other means not dictated by game boundaries?) so whats to say we all didn’t go take it for a joy ride?
I RP’d with it and used it already… I brought my elementalist to kinda wander around Tyria drunk for days nearly losing it. My guardian took it better than her mother though.
Since I try to RP everything, My girls cried (/cry) and one of them had a dark power wreck one of Mordy’s vines in anger.
Well that turned out to be a really big oversight on anet’s part haha!
I have nearly 9 k AP (I missed a lot of achievements of the past year) and I’m not more then maybe a C+ at being good at the game. I still have a lot to learn. The whole AP business is stupid and bad gamesmanship.
Some people with +8k AP crying about ‘Uncategorized Fractal’ it’s too difficult!1111
I could see him or her complaining about the colossus fractal or Mai Trin (I suck period at her) that thing is just nearly impossible to free without a good team.
The reason they are still around is allow us to have a small chance to gather the toxic spores for our recipes. They is no other reason but a farming source (and well regulated in Anet’s eyes). Also each toxic offshoot is a good source of veterans and elites for monthlies and dailies and also its a group event for dailies. Why wouldn’t you not want it still around?
You’ll all regret saying you want it gone when you need it most and its not there anymore.
I can’t wait to see complaint threads about not enough Pristine Toxic Spore Samples to make things.
A further addendum to the Eternal Alchemy video speculation
As we’ve seen, the 6 orbs are grouped on either side of what supposedly represents Tyria, and each of them is conveniently opposite one of the other orbs.We have Primordus/Kralkatorrik, Bubbles/Jormag and Mordremoth/Zhaitan. A curious thing to note, however, is that the dragons are also conveniently grouped by a common theme.
Primordus, Mordremoth and the DSD have a certain aspect of “creation”. Primordus creates minions from lifeless stone, the DSD creates minions from simple water and Mordremoth’s minions are a corruption of nature. The last ones are the wildcard here – are they simply overgrown plants or are they otherwise based on the corruption of a living creature is the question here.
Kralkatorrik, Zhaitan and Jormag belong to a category somewhat best described as “repurposing”. They all corrupt things that are already alive (or, in Zhaitan’s case, were previously alive).
Since we know the EDs are hostile to each other, but what if it’s not a deathmatch, but a team deathmatch? The environment vs the inhabitants, if you will. This also opens up the possibility that the “opposed” dragons are each weakened by the presence of the other, thereby balancing each other out.
Since we know that magic in Tyria is finite, is possible that each set is attuned to a specific kind of magic? That would have Primordus/Kralkatorrik fighting over the “earthy” magic, Jormag /DSD fighting over the “watery” magic and Zhaitan/Mordremoth fighting over the “lifeforcey” magic.
With Zhaitan (supposedly) dead, this offers a possible explanation how/why Mordremoth has managed to go on the offensive so soon after waking. We know that Zhaitan’s remains hold a great deal of magic, but even alive the EDs bleed magic. Reasonably we can expect this happens a lot faster in the case of a dead one.
We now know that the magic of Tyria flows along the ley lines (where else was it going to go, Detroit?). Coincidently, Mordremoth seems to actively be using the ley lines (which now have more Zhaitan flavour than ever) in a way that no ED so far has. How his activity (and that of Scarlet) coincides with Zhaitan’s demise could provide further evidence of this.
The fate of Zhaitan’s remains was mentioned as being covered in this season’s releases, so if we see the Mordrem/tendrils going after his corpse (whether it is still under Pact control or perhaps taken by the Inquest or, hell, even the Zephyrites) we’ll know for sure that something fishy is in the works. Surely the magic in Zhaitan’s corpse would be of interest to the other EDs, yet none of the ones who were already active at the time of his death have taken an interest in the matter. What if he’s just the wrong flavor for them, and just what the doctor ordered for Mordremoth?
I had this idea long ago in response to the materials we have in game: the 8 elemental lodestones, cores, sliver, what have you. They are at least 4 of the elder dragons and 4 of the non corrupted forms of their magic or something else entirely.
Onyx Lodestone vs putid essense: Mordy? vs Zhaitan
glacial lodestone vs corrupted lodestone: Bubbles (his frozen magic)? vs Jormag
molten lodestone vs destroyer lodestone? ? vs Primordus
charged lodestone vs crystal lodestone ? vs Kalkatorrik
Yeah doesn’t quite fit then. unless we have three more good entities that rivals dragon’s power. Or maybe 4 more new dragons that are similar for the items that don’t fit existing dragons.
Well other idea was that in response to this, but IC as well on my guardian a couple of months back, she was saying that the dragons were probably like this as you stated above: 3 that create from something and three that use existing things. She then stated that the cores, lodestones, etc could be devised to be made into opposite polarity weapons to combat them.
I came up with this long ago but the RP community said it was to op and god mode to make weapons to kill dragon minions using the cores and lodestones of opposite energies. As if it existed, we’d have killed Zhaitan much easier and earlier like (one cannon and dead instead of pressing 1 and 2 to beat him in the dungeon).
Nearly all my women are of Ishida and are Canthan descent of course. One has the last name Izushi. In gw2 they are of a Canthan clan that existed in Kryta since the War in Kryta in Gw 1. Its a long backstory though.
Out if Gw 2 they are of a heroic bloodline in a story I’m writing.
Put’s tinfoil hat on My theory is that Menzies was left in the realm of torment. With the planting of the pale tree, it provided Menzies with a link into Tyria. The dragons are the generals of the gods, whose role is to raise an army in order to destroy the pale tree to close the link. Also the dragons feeding on magic is so that they can gain power to help accomplish this goal.
We are being used by Menzies to destroy the elder dragons so that he can absorb their magic. This is seen by the orb(Zaitans) being incorporated into the light orb(the Pale Tree). Menzies needs this magic in order to create a gateway from the realm of torment into Tyria.
The Pale Tree appearing to represent light fits, as shadows only exist with the presence of light after all.
You may be right as as I’m starting to think that the gods are actually not as good as we say they are. and they are using the dragons to rebuild their own realms at the cost of Tyria’s health and thus by GW 3: We killed your dragons and we will be killing you all too!
“Do not question the Dream, we must all play our part.”
This is what is heard in the final cinematic when we see the Eternal Alchemy.
Recall that this was said to Caithe in the Sylvari personal storyline.
Here: (actually around 5:50)
http://youtu.be/5Atrl9JIu_8?t=5m26s
So Caithe’s naughty little secret is that she may have gone into the machine as well!
I have no idea how an elementalist can fare well against these solo… I just can’t even fight them without nearly going through 2 sets of armor. Salma and Concordia were terrible.
Hair that goes far down to her rear is a must, and I don’t care if it clips. Also have it fan out to one side like a curved shape and end to a tip.
