Oh okay then thanks. I guess I cannot do what I wanted to do then. I am going to go back to my offensive build.

So atm my play style is kind of relaxed. I have strayed away from roaming and small groups and now want to focus on large zergs (eternal battlegrounds)

I wanted to know if I can be useful by supporting my team rather than being in the front of the group and fighting.

Things like: save yourselves, Hold the line, using a staff and healing breeze.

Am I offering anything to the group by doing this? I was hoping to just focus on keeping others alive.

Anyways, SAB was awesome and I can’t wait for it to come back.

7/10 I like the armor but the glowing does not fit in my opinion.

The top one is my bandit/engi (not many choices if you don’t want a coat)
The bottom is my warrior (colors of the helm kinda remind me of a bee) im not sure how to finish his armor yet.

what do you like about an animal appearing out of nowhere? at least make it semi-believable with effects…

compared to everything else in this game? Players can fast travel without any animation, mobs respawn without an animation most of the time, we carry a million weapons and items with no pockets, and so on…
If this bothers you then I can’t imagine how you can deal with the rest of the game.

All of the negativity comes from the vocal minority (if that makes sense). All of the negative posters make up a small number of the gaming community but since they are the most active on the forums, it makes it look like there is plenty of general negativity.

To answer the question, I play this because it is the only mmo I like. I feel a great sense of freedom in this game. I can play how I want and I love the combat and simple UI in this game. I can never play an mmo where you stand in one spot and attack x.x

there aren’t any single ally target skills, you have to click on someone to see their boons/conditions though, if you are cleansing them.

Maybe we could bind ally targeting to the mouse middle button or something then. I dunno but I just hate how it is so hard to target enemies when I am in wvw.

I did not see this in the options so I am asking here. Especially in wvw, I am always targeting my allies when trying to target certain enemies. It would be nice to be able to deactivate friendly targeting so I don’t have to constantly click on the sky everytime an ally gets in the way of my enemies.

Anyone else feel the same?

I love the idea of an MMO but I never found one that I liked. They all seemed so bland and boring to me. Then I decided to try GW2 and now I have faith in the genre again :P

Okay, I switched pistols for rifle because of the knockback and the net shot which has saved me millions of times. I also switched the FT for bomb kit because it is great against thieves as I have just found out :P
Rocket boots are just great so I am keeping those.

Okay, so I currently have 2 pistols, FT, toolkit, rocket boots, and the supply crate.
I am still in berserker’s gear atm.
Hopefully I can do some damage with that.

Solution: Unless I accept their friend request they have as much information as someone who isnt in my guild/party/friend list!

My Asura was feeling heroic today and decided to randomly pose for the camera. Happened in wvw and I just wanted to show her off :P

Would have been awesome if I could lead a charge like that but nobody was around to follow me (She kept that pose even while running)

After seeing how many players try to blend their armor colors with their underwear so they don’t have to wear pants (females), I can already tell why everyone wants swimwear

Is it possible to be effective without bombs or grenades? I see that your build does not have either but I am always hearing that I should use one or the other. Not having to use bombs and grenades would be interesting if it works.

Sounds like I am gonna need to completely redo my armor then for condition and toughness

Would I need a mic or could I just join in and listen while chatting in-game?

I started going into wvw more often but I am just not sure as to what gear to go in with.

I like using rifle, bombs, toolkit, and grenades.
I have all berserker’s gear ( I guess that is bad?)
I like being in small groups but sometimes I can’t avoid being caught alone :P

My traits are mostly just to cut down the cooldown rate on my weapons (I guess that might be bad too)

Hey, I have been really getting involved in the wvw scene and was hoping to find a guild who would was social and also willing to help me out in becoming better at wvw and dungeons. I mostly play on my engi and guardian but have other characters as well. All lvl 80 except one and I don’t use voice chat.

I am mostly interested in running with smaller groups in wvw which is why I need to learn my profession.

The first mistake you made was asking in the forums. Just try the class out. I love using my ranger for everything :P

Hmm. Okay well I think I would like something in between but mostly tanky because I want to still be able to do enough damage to be able to kill someone. I like small groups more than solo because I am not skilled enough to be on my own yet.

If I can be tanky but still able to kill someone, that would be great.

So I am not the most skilled player but I still have tons of fun no matter how many times I go down. I recently decided to take on the wvw fights head on, meaning that I want to start preparing for small scale and maybe even 1v1 battles.

-Currently, I have full pvt gear with lyssa runes.
-My weapons are just random stats so I am not too sure there
-Same goes for my accessories but I try to focus on toughness (I even received an ascended ring as a drop :o)

Any advice on where to go from there? I am kinda noobish which is why I have random stats on my weapons and things :P

In wvw I run LB/SB with zerker gear so I can just drop players with whatever group I am in.

Many times though, if I am in a small scale battle, I have to get up close and personal but I don’t know what melee weapon to use. I want to replace my SB though.

I know I am pretty much just wet tissue but what weapon would be good for those close encounters?
