Starting to work on my legendary, managed to receive 2 Dusks within 50g and can easily sell one to get Dawn. Though, it sucks that Anet took away the badges from the achievement boxes, now I gotta work my butt off to reach 500 badges.

Either way , the point is its bad game design. 100% luck shouldn’t be a factor when talking about about gear in an MMO. This is not a diablo game, this is a mmo. If someone earns the gold by spending a lot of time playing they shouldn’t be rewarded with absolutely nothing.

When talking about the challenge of creating a legendary item, I don’t think 100% luck should be involved when talking about attaining the simple precursor to the legendary.

In my opinion, its absolute terrible game design, and like I said, I already quit the game months ago, in fact I just uninstalled it for the 2nd time a few hours ago because I refuse to play something so poorly designed.

I’m glad people got lucky by getting precursors, but if you were in my position you would have the same point of view. A luck system in order to get a precursor is one of this games biggest downfalls.

Im not saying that i agree with the system. I am just saying that you really can’t be mad at your luck because you were aware of the risk when you spent all of that gold. You knew it was a risk. Whether you spent 1g or 1000g, it is not any more or less fair if you did not get what you wanted.

Looking for a social guild that enjoys exploring the game world and just having fun. I am not looking for guilds that just grind this and that and do not even socialize.

I know there has to be a few guilds out there that just want to explore, mess around with the JPs, find hidden treasures, and try to take on enemies that are stronger then them as a team.

I have multiple 80s and am leveling a few others.

Oh and huge numbers do not matter to me. If there is a small guild who is dedicated to improving the experience then I would be happy to help out.

Can’t think of any examples right now but it would be nice to expand on guild features in order to increase player interactions.

Maybe something like guild members who can rank up by fighting and taking down their superiors, deals, backstabbing, and having a guild ranking system like how it is in wvw. So perks and things for each guild member.

Maybe actually having official “Guild Wars” kind of like how Eve Online does it?

More emotes and environmental interactions like chairs and things

Oh and maybe having factions that guilds can influence to aid them in the “guild wars”
I think they would need to have a separate map for this to work though. Kind of like wvw but only for guilds? Just my suggestion

Vindictus does this with its inner armor system, it’s pretty neat too. Kinda adds an extra layer of customization below your normal armor.

They had it because most of the armor would be showing skin, like for Karok and all the female characters :P You HAD to buy inner armor because the default was mega ugly and everyone could see it when your armor broke or if you were a female (Most female armor was already revealing)

Guild Wars 2 does not have that kind of thing going on. All revealing armor has it’s own unique underwear anyways so there is no point to handing out bathing suits or any type of underwear

you really can’t complain if you are going to gamble in this game. We all know how the rng works.

After playing vindictus, this is not bad at all lol. The champion loot system makes me sad though. Everybody in pve just wants to go zerging in a circle 24/7 now. I thought we play games for fun lol

Is ranger like really OP in PVP or something? Why so many haters.

people hate on rangers for many reasons. Things like how we dont contribute if we stay at a distance and always use ranged weapons or how we dont do enough damage. They hate our pets too.

BUT as a ranger, you can solo many champs ( i just did 2), go full berserker gear and destroy players in wvw, you can let your pet tank EVERYTHING or you can charge into enemies head on with melee weapons. It is like having a second player fighting with you (not as smart but still useful).

Sure we have a few issues here and there but I have the most fun with my ranger. There is so much room for mistakes too so you have tons of survivability.

Just my opinion though but give ranger a chance for sure.

I actually enjoy the small scale fights in GW2 quite a lot.

However, the problem becomes when people zerg and we reach a so called ‘critical mass’ where people simply tap W to move forward while spamming AoE skills with no sense or meaning.

Summoning a big firestorm when dangerously close to your own allies or yourself has no consequence, the abilities have no real weight behind them that punish stupid or careless use.

I love chaotic fights, including big fights in games like Chivalry or Planetside 2, but in Guild Wars 2, it’s just a button mash :/
It’s not like I risk accidentally chopping the heads off my teammates on my Charr warrior if I swing my sword around like a maniac, there’s no real ‘danger’ to using any of my abilities(unless you charge off a cliff) which encourages me to spam to my heart’s content, creating a rather ‘brainless’ large scale PvP experience.

We CANNOT have friendly fire though. Can you imagine the massive amounts of trolling and accidents that would occur? that would be total chaos
