This item [&AgGemQAA] is in the game, and looks like The Lost Seal of Usoku with a Utility Infusion Slot! Could there be an undiscovered Mystic Forge recipe to convert our extra Fractal Daily rings to have Utility Infusion Slots? I would love to have a set of 15% Karma Ascended gear for when I open all my jugs and vials of Karma (15% for each item in addition to the booster, food, and guild banner buffs).

For example, if anyone has purchased the Mystic Binding Agent, does that combine with uninfused Ascended Rings (it would need a couple other things as well, probably a Gift of Ascension or Vials/Globs/Shards of Mists Essence)? Or it could be something else altogether, but it’s an interesting thought. Any ideas?

special conditions for that item, though i hate to say it. a 1-off(so far that we know) is not going to change the fact that set mf recipe exotics will not spawn from a 4x combine, or am i wrong?

i haven’t seen any mystic claymores(for example) pop up in the 10000’s combines across all servers. someone want to prove me wrong; i would love some knowledge dropped on me.

I do agree that you can’t forge items that have a set recipe, just a weapon like Final Rest and a few others (3 i think ) that haven’t been found won’t come out from the mystic forge but are also not craftable

I have an 80 necro warrior and guardian all fully geared, leveling a mesmer and elementalist. Necro is by far the most fun I’ve had in this game, plenty of fun builds (power, condition, wells, minions) there’s just plenty of possibilities.

They’re ugly anyways.

yeah that it really hyped me up in the betas too bad it changed, it had a really nice intro to the game. Anyway I wish I could also change the background music to for example like that nice piano theme instead.

Completion reward = 26s + 13s + 6.5s + 6.5s(continuous thereafter) (assumes you did your daily batch already)

Lets say on average you get 12-15 blues/greens from drops (~1s each) = 12-15s

A speed run takes 7min (from zone, door open, Path vote to final boss). People tend to forget to include zoning + path voting time as part of their run time. The only way to get a time faster than 6min is to abuse a bug with skipping but lets say that you’re not doing that bug.

60min / 7min = 8.57 runs an hour.

1st run = 14s+10s+22s+12-15s+26s = 84-87s
2nd run = 14s+10s+22s+12-15s+13s = 71-74s
3rd run = 14s+10s+22s+12-15s+6.5s = 64.5-67.5s
4th run = 14s+10s+22s+12-15s+6.5s = 64.5-67.5s

100b may hit 30k, but it’s cast time is quite long compared to a thief’s combos, that’s where the misconception comes from. A Thief’s S/P does plenty of AoE damage.

You can’t claim a total with drops that might be different for people.

you just don’t count them man, they do drop but sometimes you go runs without them not equaling 10g. Gold infusions players don’t have them yet so how can you factor that in -_- unless you mean the 1hr boosts for laurels, either way these are limited too so no point in counting them either.

Farming gold without the standard gold farming gear, and not including the drops that are worth the most, of course your going to get less then the projected amount.

standard gold farming gear? what is it besides runes of scavening and omno bars? Nobody has a gold utility infusion in their amulets yet so you can’t count that.

Drops that are random are just that, random, you can’t count them because they are not 100% sure.

Just change the title to 10g an hour IF you have good drops, because you are failing to make an accurate case here.

Better yet, when are we getting another option for any other legendary weapon, I for one would like a different legendary staff, and also the ability to fuse 2 together for something similar like eternity.

I’ve done this quite a few times. I always ask before we even start the dungeon and often contribute the most to the dungeon besides the last minutes of the last boss fight. I’ve never been kicked for it though I don’t doubt the day will come where some kitten will do it.

After 3 80s it’s just a pain in the kitten to level alts through normal gameplay, DEs/hearts are so boring also and I’m not spending 40-80g in crafting for fast leveling, when I could be earning gold/tokens/items while leveling!

I’m not exactly sure but let’s say utilty infusions stacked u’d get 60%+gold/karma/mf that would be quite too much of a boost.

They really dropped the ball on this one, haha. I wonder who designed the fight and how in earth the team approved it. Obviously unfinished and rushed to release the game my guess.

10G an hour? can someone explain how this is possible cause I probably was doing something wrong when I farmed it I got 5g at most not counting any lucky drops.

For necros, staff and scepter/dagger is probably best. Aoe Chill, AoE cripple, AoE weakness, Aoe Fear, Aoe Blind, Elite blind, trait that chills on blind, Epidemic, spectral wall, well of power and life transfer if power necro.

I don’t get it? I thought they were normal mobs and 1 veteran every 10 secs or so? 5 players really can’t handle that?

- Paths are long but they get better the more practice you have and the better group you can manage. You can do path 3 in 20-30 mins with a good group on average.

- Dwayna is pretty tough because of sparks pathing and the coordination it takes, dps is not a must but its a plus, not many do this path except for dungeon master and considering the rest of the dungeons only have 3 paths there’s no complains from me here.

- I do agree trash is strong and unforgiving at times, but it’s arah, toughest dungeon in game, it makes sense.

- It’s worth it if you want the skins.

- I doubt you can do all those paths if running with a good group, I’d say 2 AC paths or 2 CoF is about 1 path 3 run with competent groups.

Anyway people do it because of the skin and dungeon master title, the skins are pretty cool in my opinion and this game is a lot about looks, not stats.

A necro would indeed be impressive, I’ve thought about doing it but as a condition necro with only 18k health it doesn’t look like it would work out and I don’t have the resources to spend in another set just to solo this.

I might give it a try though, but phase 2 would be indeed tough, if you stay at range the shadow step will give you trouble but if you stay close the circles might kill you, we have no 3 sec invulnerable skills. Phase 3 bubble could be done with 30 points in soul reaping.

I’m starting to run arah again guys so add me if you need an experienced player also, I have done all paths multiple times and always willing to help newcomers. I’m available most days from 5-10p.m. eastern time, US servers only.

Well in my case I have some mats alright, but I usually sell any mats that reach over 250 in collections because they start using bank space. I’m talking about leveling 4 accounts to 80 so I think any mats I have will run out pretty fast therefore I would end up buying the rest.

So just yesterday I switched from my 80 guardian to my 50 elementalist at the last boss in AC for some experience, then some guy whispered me why I didn’t level by crafting. I told them because it’s expensive then he went ahead and told me it’s only about 20 gold from 1-80, and that he level 4 toons from 1-80 with only 60g.

I thought the cost was closer to 40g per character, anyway prices have changed or what’s up? Cause if it’s 20g I’m pretty sure I’d rather do that and just farm cof for a day to achieve that amount.

At many points I would’ve been able to make a legendary if I had had the precursor, but usually I just use my gold in other weapons (like volcanus) and equip my alts with these. I’m at around 1200 hrs now and never had a precursor drop and I won’t buy it or gamble at those prices. I’ll just wait for the scavenger hunt or for one to actually drop then I might go for a legendary.

She was made invulnerable while stealthed/cleanse all conditions on stealth in an older patch than the January 28th.

Guys on sparks, have speed buffs, movements skills, blinks and switfness of course, guy with 3 sparks should be ready by the time she stealths to start pulling 3, guy with 2 sparks shud be done before the other gets there. Sparks follow in a straight line. Rest stay out of the way.

Timewarp after 4-1 to give u more running time for sparks, potion of undead slaying helps ALOT, 50% more damage to simin if all players equip

Some people love it, some people hate it. Personally I love it on all armors and have a full set on my silvary necro, it is the most difficult to do and often the longest depending on the team.

Interesting stuff guys, keep it up and we might see a red post eventually.

Sylvary necro mainly because Arah gear looks best on them. Human look like crap it’s funny when I stand beside them and I’m the best looking necro. It’s just more evil and intimidating. Asura with arah gear are cool too but more in the cute way.

Everyone who works really hard trying to find where it might drop cares! Otherwise find somewhere else to look about the staff.

We are talking about veteran mobs off events spawning to specific orders that don’t even drop any chests, it has nothing to do with the staff, if anything we are farther away from where it drops, it’s just misleading people that are actually trying to find it.

They made her invulnerable while stealthed because when people were still able to dmg her through it, a common tactic was to just ignore sparks and poison zerg her down.

Don’t see the problem with this, most of the game is zerging everything.

You are not the master class hence you can’t have the best animations.

you didn’t level all the way to 400, it’s on the higher numbers that you get more levels.

What I notice about this boss.

First. She usually always dissapears at 50% hp no matter the conditions, this is usually if sparks are not done between 5-10 secs hence the 4-1 tactic, so if you get her to 25%hp and she manages to make it above 50%, you have to try and do fast sparks again. Same thing with 25% health and 10% health. So fast sparks are a must.

Second, Most players don’t have the skill to do sparks right. usually the person with the 3 sparks takes over 10 seconds triggering the auto stealth at the percents making the fight much longer, sparks switch targets so if a pet or another player is on the way, it could take even longer. Some players are the same with tears but this takes less skill. This auto stealthing is very punishing specially on non-dps groups. Also when she’s below 10%hp she seems to no longer stealth you can just finish her off if you keep up your dps (eventually she will stealth if you don’t keep up your dps).

Of course we all know a mesmer is a plus for timewarp.

Third, I’m not sure why they made her completely invincible when stealthed, this doesn’t go with the core mechanics of the game. It’s not like the boss was easy on the first place, most of the time you have 2-3 players just waiting for the others to finish with sparks because getting in the way could be counter-productive and make things more complicated. Being able to hit her while stealthed gave these players something to do and seemed like an intended mechanic so not sure why the change.

All in all it’s a very pug unfriendly fight therefore most people fail it, you need at least 2 good runners for sparks and hope the person doing tears is somewhat competent.

A common mistake I see is people not wearing speed buffs for the 3 sparks, blink skills, movement skills, attacking waiting until she stealths again not knowing exactly when will happen instead of being ready for the sparks to spawn, again this is due mostly to lack of experience.

Who cares about these events, the staff is not going to drop from there, take it somewhere else I only want to look at this thread if someone has anything to say about the staff.

Well I mean back/trinkets/amulet/rings. They recently added with the patch. There used to be no rabid exotic of these until the patch now there is one in Dwayna’s temple. I wonder if it’s the same for berserker trinkets as well.

For those that have opened it what have you gotten?

Trying to get some results here, from what I’ve read it seems that the items you get are just of any kind that the class can use, for example a guardian box will give out weapons that a guardian can use and probably some heavy armor too, the stats are probably random. SO not really THAT much class specific, the skins I havent’ heard of any new skins yet and we’re still wondering if you can get precursors from them but there’s quite a chance of it.
