There’s many things that reward a chest after you kill a veteran. many jumping puzzles that reward a chest and many meta-events that spawn a large chest.
Shadow behemoth, I think a final rest will drop soon if he drops it, but at this point I doubt it, but then again I doubt most of these theories by now.
Thx a lot for the vid obal. Very interesting to watch. Its really unfair you got so few rares from lupi. My experience with him isnt that bad after about 20 runs, but RNG is a cruel mistress. :-( You deserve better.

You’re taking a look at the dungeon armor the wrong way, people don’t do dungeons for the stats for the most part but rather the looks. If you want a look you have to do that dungeon.
Rewards do need balancing though, doing CoF path 1 repeatedly is more profitable and faster than running any Arah path. Also Arah doesn’t drop lodestones.
Though I agree that the point of this fight is not to fall in the lava and falling there is your own fault. You still should NOT take damage while dead. However your teammates should take burning damage if you try to rez someone dead in lava so yes it needs to be addressed.
OK I figured it out, apparently light COF armor gives you the lava tail and hands look, not sure if you have to wear the whole set or what. Sucks for heavies they dont get the effect oh well, I don’t like cof legs anyway.
Your math is based on assumptions, so far only amulets offer the utility slot and like the poster above said it takes a while to get both. Amulets might be the only ones for gilded infusions for all we know.
Well low quality of drops in dungeons is nothing new, has been around for a while and the blue bags that bosses drop are the best we’ve gotten after all this time. Specifically arah that takes the longest has very low profit, specially if you wipe you could even end up losing money rather. Not counting much easier dungeons with much better loot like Cof path 1 or Ac paths where bosses actually reward good silver and I’ve actually seen exotics drop here + lodestones, I don’t think arah even drops any lodestones which is pathetic.
Anyway Arah’s purpose is purely cosmetic gear and the Dungeon Master title, some people do it because it’s the most challenging, others for self glory, also the gift of zhaitan, I suggest you do path 3 that one’s much easier and shorter than the rest.
Regarding your party composition/guardian argument, yeah you’re a noob there.
I saw 2 charr dudes with molten looking hands and tails, not sure what caused this (probably the armor, both used light armor) or a specific skin color but it looked cool and this is would look awesome on my fire themed charr, so let me know how to do that, I asked them but they just laughed at me.
Shame you are on NA servers, for me that is. Spent 5 hours trying to figure out Arah path 3 just a few days ago, eventually we gave up at Lupi after wiping like 6-7 times.
Was fun, but in the end frustrating.
Hard being a noob in a dungeon… And I really do not understand the whining “no noobs” kitten, everyone was a noob at one point and if people didnt bother taking you you’d still be a noob.
Please I was raised in Arah, bonded by the risen. Back then there were no pros but noobs only, we figured out things our own way, still wearing rare gear because no one except the rich had exotics back then.
WvW has ascended in a way. You can do dailies through them so you get laurels that you can still use. Problem is monthly might not be as versatile to accomplish in WvW. I do agree amulets/rings should sell off badges, the only thing is that a lot of people will be insta boosted when they introduce that in contrast to a person who doesn’t WvW.
The dailys do suck and it’s not really what they promised, I remember they saying that there would be 6 ways to complete the daily and only 4 had to be done. Whatever happened to that.
And Fractals really need the new infusions and amulets as a token reward and daily reward, otherwise the only point of doing it is just for the fun and the money.
Rob you might wanna check COF token items have no confirmation window when you buy them, I bought some light shoulders in accident and other people have also, might wanna check all dungeon token vendors make sure they have this as it sucks being stuck with a soulbound item to a character of the wrong armor type.
5 months and still not found? I think we need a better hint… I mean not even legendary recipes were as rare or forged weapons.
I think people are thinking to hard on this one.. I dont think the name, style or something with the staff has to do with the location it is dropped. People have been farming all the events that is related to the staff for months now… its not from any of them…
According to the hints, with big chest etc. i am going to farm the huge giant wurm in caldeon forest. Rarely any level 80’s do that event, yet it drops a chest just as bigged and packed with loot as the dragon chests

It’s not that people are thinking too hard, it’s just that we need a better hint than what we’ve got, people are not gonna go around doing every meta-event that rewards a chest on all zones for something that might or might not be there with a ridiculous chance of dropping.
As for the Wurm event, plenty of 80s do it because twilight arbor is right beside it.
Made Jormag’s Breath very early in the game and have been working for a long time towards Volcanus. It is a depressing journey as I lack the gene that gives people an inherent capitalist mindset and as such don’t make use of my money by playing the tp. I have about 230 Molten Lodestones and enough cores for the remainder, around 20 Destroyer Lodestones along with all else that required. As with anything in this game I simply need gold. I am becoming demoralised and tired and just pray I win the Dusk/Dawn lottery now. I just don’t have enough time in the day to finish it I don’t think, but at the same time I have come reasonably close and don’t want to give in.
Hey mate, Volcanus shouldn’t be so hard to make if you have the skill points. I’ve made calculations myself because I’ve consider making it and if you buy molten cores and destroyer cores, it would only cost up to 240g-260g so considering the price doesn’t increase with the patch. This in contrast with 400g+ you’d spend on lodestones themselves.
The only problem with this is that you need to have about 270 skill points to forge it, considering that you haven’t used any in your playtime you should have enough.
If you don’t have the gold easiest way to achieve this is doing cof path 1 over and over for cores/lodestones/skill points and gold, should take about a week if you put a few hours to it a day.
In your case though I would sell the lodestones and just put a cheap buy orders for cores.

Anyone know what the problem is? When I go to wvw often in big fights an annoying sound starts and a bit after if i stay in the zerg i crash sometimes, what could this be?

Don’t think it’s inteded. Doesn’t make sense for 1 class to be able to pull this off while others don’t. Either way I don’t think you’d be banned or anything serious for using it, but if you want to play fair you could probably stop using it.
I like the old dungeons better than fractals, fractals were nice the first few times but then it gets too repetitive. I know other dungeons are the same thing but at least we have 8 dungeons with 3 diff paths each meanwhile fractals are just 9 very short ones.
I think people are misunderstanding this? You can still revive people I’m sure, you just can’t use the wp in combat so you have to wait until the team kills the mob to revive you or get out of combat so you can try to run back to them.
boss dies too fast for warriors to go down, I run a zerker warrior and I rarely go down in cof 1 runs. The reason people run mesmers and warriors is because they can get 3 runs in 30 mins (omno time) where as other classes will only get 2 runs in 30 mins.
I’ll be honest here, I’ve done up to 10 runs in a row and rarely hit DR on money, I might hit DR once for 13 silver in the end reward but then the run after it goes back up to 26. Same with experience

you mean requiring ascended weapons, which we already have with agony resist after certain fotm levels. they already had an outcry regarding vertical progression they can have another one, we already know they made up their minds regarding that and people just eventually dealt with it.
Besides it doesn’t make sense to add agony resist to weapons.

In regards to those talking about ascended and exotic. Ascended gear and weapons will be better yes, but that does not make the exotic weapon obsolete. The reason people pay for these weapon is not the stats (which can be gotten for 3-4g), it’s the skins that are attractive and make the difference.
Ascended gear, like rings will most likely not be too hard to obtain, people will just transmute their exotic skin with the ascended stat, it’s not like the weapon will become usless and a mistake was made because a Legendary wasn’t crafted instead, Legendary is just top tier and that’s the only reason they are putting it on par with ascended stats but one should not even try to craft one just because it will keep its stats, it’s a big mistake.
