Best to hover over it and check if it says “skin unlocked”, if not right-click it and unlock it.
They’re the red circles where the water looks like it’s swirling.
Well Id be happy if they brought it back, since I only ran it twice or so before the Aetherpath was introduced.
Why arent these salvageable anyway? I could maybe see why for the Exotic rewards but the greens are soulbound and unsalvageable as well.
Wrong subforum, btw.
You were alright Vee Wee. Goodbye.
RNG is RNG.
Mostly farming and world events. Spend some karma on Jewelry boxes or Obsidian shards, do some logging (chance for foxfires), explore (there are some interesting JPs) or just enjoy the scenery. It’s actually a nice place once the Risen are out of the way.

You can use most of the TP’s functions from anywhere in the world by pressing O or using the black lion icon at the top of the screen. The only thing you can’t do is collect items/gold.
Merchants appear to be level specific now. I just went to the one right outside The Grove on my level 80 character and they’re offering a full selection of salvage kits and Mithril and Ori tools. On my level 40 character they’re selling Crude, Basic and Fine kits and Steel and Darksteel tools.
Well, good to see early Caledon still has one. And I’m aware of how the TP works, I’m just annoyed my access to it has been reduced.
That’s not going to happen: these are starter zones and having merchants might be too confusing for newcomers.
I wish people would stop using that joke -_-
Could you bring the TP representatives and merchants back to areas like Smokestead and Snowlord’s Gate? When I’m in these areas it’s always annoying to be unable to purchase salvage kits/check my TP like I used to be able to, especially between AC runs (this is Smokestead specifically) or when I’m playing my low-level Norn character for example.
Well that’s stupid.
Hobby Dungeoneer is still there for you.
I blame Mordremoth.
It doesn’t eat more Bloodstone by the way.
I just noticed while looking through the Treasure Collector achievement that it’s one of the required items but is still grayed out even though I’d obtained the infused version before patch.
That group of humans that stand around in DR, preparing for their adventure.
Starring:
Poobadoo as Hannibal Smith
Lord Faren as Face
Hobotron as BA Baracas
Mad King Thorne as Howling Mad Murdock
Ellen Kiel as the random female lead (replaced by Countess Anise half way through Season One)Bloomanoo and Penelopee as the poor oppressed shopkeepers
and Evon Gnashblade as the evil politician trying to take over the town
“But Mr. Gnashblade, why would you do such a thing?” Because I’m Eeeeevon!"
Alternate: and I would’ve gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for those meddling heroes and their quaggan!
Thats a really weird bug. Havent heard of anyone else getting that though.
Why would you even try to put any kind of level lock on these things? They’re just diving glggles…
Eh, they started out weird (NC founder was upset mommy didn’t like him as much as the Firstborn, decided to corrupt the tree so Sylvari could choose their own destiny, gets killed off in TA story) and when Faolain took charge everything just got worse.
I also encountered a Sylvari claiming she was unaffected by the cold, in the Priory Monastery in Snowden Drifts. I found this quite odd, but Sylvari walking through the Sviverpeaks barefoot and with only their plant armor to protect them aren’t uncommon. It probably affects them to a degree, not as much as humans or asura but they’re not as resistant as Norn.
Thanks for the response
.
That’s too bad they are gone. No need to do some events then, if there is no reward anymore. Oh well.
Well, the XP is good if you’re still leveling.
Vitality + skills that remove conditions.
And while we’re at it, what happened to the Dredge heart nearby?
Im not sure that’s how it works. Did you get a different exotic 90% of the time before tve patch? And the Spoon vendors for 10s, whats not to love?
Level locking like this is bad, plain and simple.
They removed a heart from Wayfarer as well.
I got a level-up reward, can’t even salvage it -_-
You obviously don’t know how it works at the top of the AP leaderboards.
A bunch of obsessed no-lifers that complain whenever Anet changes anything even slightly related to AP?
Minis are gem store items and give AP. You’re too late.
Did it in one try on my ele, maybe try mastering your class a bit more? Keep in mind not every atrack needs to be dodged; some things can be jumped, you can blind/reflect the vines if you have those, some of the attacks don’t do so much damage and can be tanked,… It helps if you’re ranged too.
NC fight dragon minions on their own, but they’re still evil kittens just to be evil.
That post is funny, Just do a party wipe and the hammer will respawn, they fixed it a long time ago. LOL the fix is to have your party wipe?
Everyone dying usually resets the dungeon/fractal to a certain point. GW2 isnt the first game where a party wipe restores things to an earlier state.
M… maybe… No! I can stop whenever I want. See?
About the luck essence; what else are you going to do with them? Destroy the essences you get from salvaging? Might as well consume them.
Yeah, I hate those idiots that try to farm champs at Claw of Jormag.
I got this game a day after launch when my friends told me to pick it up, only thing that ever confused me was weapon swap because I played an Elementalist and then an Engineer, and once someone explained those 2 classes don’t have that I got along just fine. The game seems straightforward enough to me, but I still see people often asking “what do I do now?”, “what is the best X”, “what is fastest way to 80”, “where should I go”,… because they don’t really seem to get that it’s all about exploring and getting out there. Do whatever you like, everything gives XP anyway.
I duo’d it once with a friend who was at the same point in the story. Do you have any friends?
I guess dust is easier to digest than ores or whatever empyreal fragments are. Feeding a dragon minion highly magical dust could backfire though…
Except Warrior and Guardian are still essential in most game-modes, and people won’t just throw away their hard-earned characters. Thieves are still needed for skipping things/DPS, and Ranger and Engineer were already ignored most of the time.
well if everyone is going to play in light armor, wouldn’t that ulitmately lower the price of silk/linen/cotton due to increased supply?
First thing I thought when I saw this post.

I revive people because it’s the right thing to do… I don’t know about you people, but I got Combat Healer without knowing it existed, I usually get Daily Reviver without trying, and I see people reviving others all the time. And if there’s no one who wants to revive you, just use a WP or die less.
We have tracks for every dungeon so as long as they’re not easier to get than in Fractals, why not. You could but in some +1 infusions and fractal relics too, and veteran/champ boxes.
Who would you cast as the jellyfish’s voice actor?
David Attenborough.
Aaaaaaand he’s dead. Nice going.
No he isn’t. His brother Richard is.
David Attenborough is the one who does nature documentaries and is famous for whispering dramatically. Richard Attenborough was the crazy rich guy in Jurassic Park who was convinced it’d all be fine even when raptors were eating everyone.
Hm. That still sucks though.
Who would you cast as the jellyfish’s voice actor?
David Attenborough.
Aaaaaaand he’s dead. Nice going.
Hmm.. There is no picture and I’m very curious what this “Mech armor” this person is referring too.
I’m guessing it’s Profane armor.
How many characters do you have if you forget so easily…
Take off the hat/mask and you look fine, mostly.
Do your Dailies! And PS.
I got it by taking the waypoint and getting hit by a mob as it ended.
So it was random how you got the achieve.
Same for me. Weird how that works out sometimes.
See, this is why I have my signature. This is one of the most common thread topics. People make one every week, if not more. Fix the stupid search function Anet, this theory is annoying enough as it is.
