Right now, certain Costume Brawl skills make you enter combat (pretty sure it’s when you get CCd). Many Costume Brawl skills cannot be used while in combat. This is, obviously, annoying. I’m pretty sure this counts as a bug, but what would be the best way to report this?

Had the same problem at 77 just now. The first time we got it to 25% I managed to get a wisp in, but after wiping (not everyone else got one in), the receptacle stumps couldn’t be interacted with anymore.

First of all, raiding is PvE. Second of all, if those people are really looking for a challenge, then they can try and do it without ley-line gliding. Which isn’t necessary, as the new wing will only require half of the players on the team (so five (5) out of ten (10) players) to have ley-line gliding.
Did I say that it WASN’T PvE? I said that a lot of people who don’t do PvE do raids for the challenge.
Also, I read everything, not just the part I wanted to argue with someone about, and the end boss WILL require EVERYONE to Ley-Line Glide.
So, your “first of all” was for what purpose? and your “second of all” is obviously short of the mark. So again, what was the point of your post?
Pointing out that “people who don’t do PvE” would then also not do raids, because raids are PvE, see?

and my interest in raiding has now dropped off the bottom of the scale. thanks at least for the heads up… so i can stop worrying about bothering.
If you refuse to finish the gliding mastery line for whatever reason, there are still two other raid wings you can play that don’t require Ley Line Gliding.
IMO the problem here is that there are many non-PvE players that play and don’t bother with the masteries. They Raid for the challenge. This effectively forces them to PvE whether they want to do so or not.
What is bothersome with this reply is that you are basically belittling Katz’s frustration. Not cool.

Very often people burn through Teq so quickly he doesn’t even get to spawn his AoEs. The maps you’re on are the victim of their own success.

When you leave PvP, if the location the game tries to put you back into in PvE is for some reason invalid or unknown, it defaults into Lion’s Arch. It’s gotta put you somewhere, and that’s probably the most benign and neutral location to cause the least amount of problems.
One way for this to occur is to enter PvP from a guildhall, and I suspect from other instances. Since instances are created on-demand and then closed when no longer needed, the game can’t put you back into your guildhall, and for whatever reason the PvE location you were at before you entered the guildhall isn’t set or has been overwritten or something.
Odd, one character was in Verdant Brink and the other in a different location in LA.

Pressing “leave the Mists” in PvP occasionnally (not always) takes you to the northern part of LA now, even if you weren’t in LA before. It seems to happen when I leave that character in the HoM when logging out, then leave the Mists after logging in again. Is this intended behaviour?

Maybe we’ll see some of the skills return with the Elementalist specialisation, but for now the Zephyrites are out of commission. I hope they’ll rebuild sooner or later, Aspect Arena was a cool mini-game.

Ascended = unlock x ascended armor
Legendary = equip x amount of legendary
Ah, but I said weapons, not armour. And that’s not an actual collection since it does not require all legendaries, nor is it in the Collections section. They should probably put the Mini Collectors in the Collections section as well.

No, don’t rebuild it. A great tragedy happened there, so rebuilding will just nullify that event and thus diminish the value of having that kind of serious story element to begin with.
Forgive me for using this as a reference, but consider the Twin Towers. It’s the same idea. So rather than just re-building the towers, it was turned into a memorial ground – far more honorable and respectful for the lives we lost.
So at best, treat LA like a memorial place.
Except they are rebuilding the Twin Towers site. Slowly, but they’ve been at it for years now. If we listened to people like you entire cities in my country would probably still be in ruins.

Well, that made me sad. I expected you to be another mouthbreather due to the title, OP, but your story made me doubt my past actions. I usually don’t bother with low level SWs, and I always leave taxis quickly so someone else can take that spot. Perhaps it would be for the best if you took a break from SW or even the game, you seem a bit stressed out. Everything will most likely still be here the way it was when you left, unless we beat Mordy in that time.

Works fine for me, but in pugs you need to be fast if you want to use Deep Freeze for example. However, I think Anet might have realised the curreny state of things is not ideal, as most big bosses since the 2nd Jubilee are completely immune to CC.

Yeah, this happens with the other titles you are given during the personal story. It would be nice when you’re playing as a Sylvari to be able to use the title “Valiant”, or if you are playing Asura “Savant”. Possibly making those titles race exclusive?
I don’t think they’d be exclusive. The PvP class specific titles aren’t characterbound either.

120 inventory slots here, and I always have 30 free spaces. I carry around multiple salvage kits, Bank/TP/Merchant express, repair canisters, Tonics and toys, 2 armorsets and every weapon my class can wield, Mawdrey and the Star, and some Living Story junk like Krait Obelisk transcriber, the Halloween detector, etc. Have you considered getting an alternate character where you can store things you don’t use as much? Or more bank space?
