The orbs were sold to a dodgy Norn merchant and have never been seen since. Rumor is they are now kept in a private museum collection by a rich Char.
Where no one will ever find it…
Just walk to a different area? The new hub is Vigil Keep, to the north.
perhaps ii play wrong.
Yeah, I’m fairly convinced that you do. It’s entirely subjective, though.
I barely ever do anything in GW2 that I feel isn’t fun. This mean that I usually play a maximum of 3 hours a day. I don’t complete my daily if I I don’t feel like it’s enjoyable.
I do the dungeons I want to; Even if it may be more gold-efficient dungeons to run, the game isn’t about making money (it’s not a job). The game is about having fun.
I sure would like to have an Incinerator, but that will take a few months since I don’t grind in this game. Grind is optional. There’s no hurry but the one you make.
OMG you sound like me.
At least people are doing Thaida now.
Apparently some traits even require map completion, which seems kind of overboard to me.
Weird. I hardly ever see anything but English on Piken.
Yeah, but I dont think they do anything.
NEVER, EVER break character. The show must go on!
When did Soothing Disruption Ever give Protection? I dont remember it doing that.
Also, why do you use “…” so much? Ive seen ppl do it and they never tell me why.
3) Mesmer magic.
You cannot effectively pretend to be an icebrood for long periods of time.
There is a heart that has a Norn pretending to be a Son of Svanir though.
Funny!! I have to admit that out in WvW, I’ve laughed many times when I’ve seen a finisher take me out. I hate to admit it, but I actually chased a player who had the quaggan finisher and fought half-heartedly just to have another look at it! How can you be angry for losing a fight when you get something that funny? Also like the golem and minstrel finisher.
Thanks for the preview!
Yes, I’m always a bit disappointed when somebody finishes me with just the basic spike. At least equip the rabbit.
I like the basic flag more than the Rabbit, really.
The megaserver system is still less than a week old. As with anything new, people will flock to events and megabosses until they get tired of it and move on. Give it some time and see how it goes.
If they’re still not doable in a month, then come back and complain.
This please, patience is a virtue
I really wish they would add bunny tonics to this game. Every Easter my guild in GW1 would plan a time on Easter to do what we called a rabbit run. We would all turn into bunnies and chase people around in LA giving out rabbit tonic till we had as many as possible turned into rabbits, I wish we could do that in GW2.
Well, there’s always Jackalopes.
Anyone know where I might find sheet music for Brass? I play french horn but it’s hard to find good sources.
I was wondering how many there were. So do you have to keep scrolling sideways or doesit add a second bar below eventually?
I did not enjoy losing my pvp gear sets on all my 8 characters, each one had unique looks in pvp different from pve.
Now I dont even have all the pvp weapons I had cause in the pve set did not have said weapons, most of my 80’s level characthers aren’t even fully geared,
This means I will have to buy some silly low grade weapons reskin them for the pvp purpose and waste the charges.
And when I have the time or funds to get proper pve weapons (exotic or ascedent)plus armour to fully equip them with said lost pvp weapons I will have to reskin them all over again, I know I got over 80 charges with the update but it will take a long time for me to redo my pvp gear, you could have warned us before hand that the pvp gear our characther where wearing would BE gone and replaced by the pve versions of it >> my ranger is level 80 for months or even a year but only has the tier 2 cultural sets thats level 60 rares >> and only a short bow and some low great sword while is pvp set was axe torch, sword dagger, weapons I DO NOT HAVE IN PVE this means I will have to buy some junk just for pvp, waste charges just to the looks, I dont have the funds to give her proper weapons and the worst part the looks do not split from pve to pvp, I really liked having cultural sylvary on her in pve but pvp i liked a mix matched set and a red rose on her back which I dont have back item from pve meaning more waste. Had I knew I would lose the pvp gear I would have taken screenshots of the sets and dyes X_XEither way great job on the rest but I lost my toys weapons I might be panicking and hope to find them but my warrior had a drill and bocing gloves both i can’t find
For the toys, talk to a BL armorsmith in a major town. Theyre near the BL traders.
totally agree with the hotjoin parts.
“GW2 PLAY YOUR OWN WAY”
but we’ll remove your favourite mode and put a cap on how much you can play your own way.ridiculous changes, why do anet always do this?
everytime they do something good they have to do something ridiculously moronic.
That quote has been completely twisted and turned to the point of losing all meaning.
Better remove Capricorn
I dont like it either
I’m not a huge fan of combining the two daily categories and making less options, but what can you do. They will always have 5 options in PvE:
<snip>As it turns out, though, that’s not true. Today only has 4, unless you also count Dungeon Completer. Except I don’t have a character high enough level for a dungeon, so I can’t get the daily only through PVE. I don’t generally do PVP, and I can’t imagine anyone in PVP would really want me there anyway, as I have little experience, no interest, and even less skill, not to mention an old machine and laggy internet. How is this at all a change for the better?
I really wanted to like this patch, too. I guess, like a lot of others here, it’s time to start looking at other games. Seriously, Anet, this very limited list of dailies really needs to be a bug you address promptly.
You could level a bit and then do the dungeon.
So far Ive seen events in the list everyday, and you can get that easily in WvW.
The train is now international, it has only become stronger
Its the forums. What did you expect?
I like all ideas except dueling. I believe that it is not necessary for this game as it’s focused on capture points. People have to understand that 1v1 fights off points are not important.
What about 1v1s ON capture points
Gotta love how truth revealing those theories are.
The truth us: People would never be happy with how it looks because the way the situation was handled sucked the epic was out of achieving it. The chocolate just isn’t sweet anymore, so it’s perceived as bitter. That’s my truthful theory.
Bitter chocolate can be good too
Chest, leg, and boot are used. You’re fine without a helmet, shoulders, or gloves.
Just as a reminder: anyone can recieve a full set (head, shoulders, coat, gloves, legs, boots) of armor and all weapons at level 1 from the “Equipment Trader” in their Eternal Battlegrounds spawn area for less than 3,000 Karma.
WvW to the rescue!
I RP Yumiko as her last rank before commander in her order as there can only be one commander and it is not right to RP “I’m a commander.” and the next guy also says they are one too? Yet there can be plenty of magisters, lightbringers, and warmasters in the game and in RP. Its all about the nameless hero thing. We also can’t say I killed Scarlet as 1000s of us probably did too.
In the RP scene, I play as one of the many Vigil Warmasters of Divinity’ s Reach’s branch and she handles more non-dragon stuff, like Scarlet, by getting new recruits and volunteers to fight her armies in the previous LS part that just ended.
Yumi was very kittened that she barely got more than a handful (maybe a few 100) troops (and of her own order) to send to their doom in the Battle for Lion’s Arch. When the guy came form the pact and said what he said, it further reinforced her ire towards Trehearne and the pact, as already she had to bury her own dead and return dog tags to the vigil and Almorra.
Don’t forget that Laranthir (the Pact guy in LA) is also Almorra’s second in command.
What Captain Hao Luen and I would like to know is where the other cities were during all of this.

Ascalonians
Gravelings, oozes, even trolls
All fear my icebow
this might help you, it’s not ingame
Thats for the ones youve done that day
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-dool
Better remove Capricorn
Better remove Capricorn
Well the button hasnt been there for very long.
Nothing wrong with Kamikazeing
Still the best way to get the “points scored” achievement
People complain about Skyhammer, Capricorn gets removed…..
Better nerf Irelia
If I remember correctly the map is an important piece of lore too, since it’s Peter the Lost’s ship.
Crystals become transmutation charges at a 1:1 rate, while stones become charges at a 3:1 rate.
APfarmers are some of the most whiney people Ive ever encountered. There is absolutely no reason to stress about losing a daily. There’s no point in trying to be at the top of the leaderboards. If it stresses you out so much, then stop doing it. Stop your self-destructive tendencies.
This is important. A friend of mine mentioned earlier that he wondered how Logan’s mother died. I asked him how he knew she wasn’t still alive, and he said he remembered seeing either her or Logan’s grandmother’s gravestone in Ebonhawke. I thought he just read it wrong, but if what you say is true then it needs to be clarified in some way.

Just dropping in to say that these are some excellent, excellent points.
GW2 storytelling has always been hit-and-miss; some storylines are awesome (the charr and asura early missions DRIP atmosphere and have memorable characters, even if those characters get thrown under the bus later). Tybalt/Kieran/Forgal are the most fleshed out characters in the entire game. It’s a pity they get killed off without a decent replacement for them. Let’s face it, kieran and tybalt are likeable, you know what motivates them, what their weaknesses are, what they’re like. Trahearne was a monotonous & supremely unintelligent and banal bore with not the slightest hint of any emotion of any kind.
Anyway, the point I’m trying to make is – storytelling up to level 50 in the personal story was mostly good, after 50 it was… well, “rushed” is probably the kindest way to describe it. Please tell me you’re having the people who did the early bits work on the next bit of the Living Story, not the people who did the Trahearne trainwreck & the hotchpotch of early LS chapters :o

You do have dialogue with the NPCs. It just isn’t voiced.
And whatever they do, I REALLY hope they don’t reintroduce the marionette shows from the Personal Story.
So what youre trying to say is we need to do our own voiceacting? I remember AQWorlds saying the same thing the first time they introduced voiced content.
Movement of the World
Well we don’t rly know what happens during and after death.
1. The Norn knew of Jormag (see his tooth in Hoelbrak).
2. The Charr didn’t have tanks yet then, they’re relatively recent I think.
5. Pale Tree =/= a God. And Sylvari are friendly, but not weak. They learn strength from ivy and viciousness from blackberry bushes.
5) Sylvari
Pros
They have a God of nature (Pale Tree) to guide them.
The Dream is a source of knowledge (they become emerged fully self aware)
Cons
The Dream has also negative aspects. It has formed the Nightmare Court.
Not possible to work their problems. The Sylvari are kind, and the Court has taken advantage of that. The Pale Tree is not a god. The Nightmare Court did not form from the negative aspects of the Dream but rather formed said negative aspects (or rather, was formed then found them). Not all non-Courtiers are kind, actually…
And not all Courtiers are kittens, some are in fact quite honorable.
I started to think about her race. Why a Sylvari? Did this whole story surrounding Scarlet become pretty meh because she was a Sylvari?
What if Scarlet was a Largos? You know, these russian accent underwater butterflies with masks. I know the story must have played out diffrently towards the end if that was the case.
Scarlet being a Sylvari, was that one of the main reasons why she wasn’t interesting enough? Imagine now Scarlet being a female Largos instead, and maybe without that Harley Quinn act, would that have been better?
The story being played out very similar to what we had, but with the underwater dragon being the target instead of Mordremoth.
1. Nah mang, a lot of folks just don’t like her because she sucks, not because of the whole evil she-weed.
2. Lel, that’ statement lad. Race would have made a slight change, but overall nah.
3. A male largos would have been better in that case, that look cooler, butter fly wings an’ all.
4. How do we even know it was the jungle dragon? was dis’ evar confirmed? alotta’ folks be sayin’ it iz dey dragon of nature but wif’ no proof on the matta. It looked like the underwater one if anything, relating even further to the largos.
Dont male and female largos look nearly identical?
Largos work alone or in master-student relationships, and even then one wouldnt have enough pull in the world to make this kind of thing happen (Sylvari do as one of the 5 races).
Scarlet being a Largos would have been even worse. Largos seem largely mistrusted by most of the other races (Trehearne doesn’t even let Sayeh reveal herself to the Pact as a whole for fear of causing a panic), so having a Largos go and study with the Charr and Norn and Hylek and then having her go and master the Asuran colleges would have been even sillier than it was with Scarlet being a sylvari.
Likewise, her making alliances out of different factions would have seemed even more odd. I believe Krait and Largos have a pretty fierce hatred of one another, so even approaching to convince them to join an alliance would be pretty much out of the question. And none of the other races seem likely to follow a Largos either.
I guess maybe it could have worked if they had pretty drastically altered Largos-Scarlet’s backstory to the point where she was working from the shadows and manipulating everything and not overtly studying with the other races and forming alliances. And that probably would have made her seem less like a “Saturday morning cartoon villain” type, which many would have liked. But how do you work insanity (which was ultimately caused by overtly working with the Inquest) or the dragon angle into that?
All in all, I don’t think Scarlet could have been a Largos without so many story revisions that it would have pretty much been a different story altogether. Nor do I think any other race would have particularly worked except maybe an Asura.
Yeah, almost every Largos you see in-game is there to assassinate someone/something.
I’m your only friend; I’m not your only friend, but I’m a little glowing friend. But really I’m not actually your friend…but I am.
Scarlet really had that “When will you die” thing going on too.
