It’s an experience scroll that will instantly put any character under level 20 to level 20.

So it won’t have an affect on a character over level 20?

I tested. It doesnt. You get an “Error” popup and the scroll stays as it is.

You can’t transmute level 80 items to items below level 80. But you can transmute a legendary item to a basic (white) level 80 item.

So are the stats level 80 too or do you just have a purple legendary skin with level 7 stats?

That is not true. If I am being pressured by 2 people but manage to controle them by cantripping and cc-ing, a HS noob joining a fight will easily destroy you in seconds.

What? It’s ridiculous easy to acquire SP. Just do the events, the world events every day and some x4 runs on cof P1, and use a XP booster maybe, they are dropping like rain with those new achiev chests. You gain a lot of XP from doing events, not just the world ones, and from dungeons. What is really hard to acquire in this game is gold.

See how long it takes you to gather up 200 skill points.

It is incredibly long, especially when you have everything but the skillpoints to complete a legendary.

BTT: there is no list. Basically a Condi X can kill a Power Y and a Power F can kill a Condi J.

Some classes like Mesmer, Ranger and Necro excel at deception, cc and or dps negation.

Others have only specific viable builds.

Others again are very heavily skilldependant, more than others.

Name me one build and I will name you a class and its build that is able to beat it with ease.

The cheap lvl 74 exo hammers ppl use for MF to get colossus went up from 1g70s to 6g.
Most other hammers too.

It cant be skinwise or sth like that, also the sigils are things like “…of Grawlslaying.”

Somebody got really desperate? I mean thank you for that much gold, but who would possibly do that? And why? All the hammers sold were worth several colossus.

Rather than putting those 10 points into Earth form Water I’ve put another 10 into Air.

The 10% overall boast to damage is nice from earth but I really like the extra pres and critical damage. And you can grab the VI trait as well for some extra awesome damage.

Was wondering if anybody has thought of switching to that if they take out the extra 10 in Water? Of course this is a more offensive route as unlike putting the points into Earth or Water you’re not getting both defensive and offensive, but I find that 100 toughness is easy enough to get through items, 100 condition damage isn’t the greatest thing, and you’re doing 20% more damage whilst low while keeping the extra swiftness and fury from the auras.

I’ve seen somebody use the build before and wanted to know if more of us eles are opting to it now that we are feeling safer shaving off 10 points in water?

I am loving it atm. Pretty squishy but more critchance and critdamge. Needing quite good movement and fight overview though, as you will get much damage with your low toughness.

As 20 traits I use 20% less cd on air and on cantrips. This grants even higher movement and more cantrips to use in a fight. Shocking aura, updraft and RTL can always use a lower CD but with the buff of weakness, lighning touch is awesome.

Have almost everything and the gold to buy the rest but 110.k karma and 123 Skillpoints.

Still cannot decide if Bifrost or Meteorlogicus first…

As IRL, things are achieved by actions, not by complaining and insulting.
As simple as that. You can complain about not getting your precursors, or think for 10minutes and get enough gold bit by bit to buy 10 of them.
Also as IRL, where is gold, there will be more gold.

I might have run around 40k runes through the forge. Counting the starting ones only as I throw in all I get back if it isnt exotic.

This always ends in profit for me or everybody I know if the used rune was cheap enough. I would not use it for big money making thoug, as sometimes (rarely) the profit is quite low. Mostly I do it when a certain rune gets very cheap and I want certain dungeon runes for a new build on an alt or just want to have a chat while I stand next to the forge (oh wait, I mean everywhere as I have a permanent node for that thing).

It is not where the big money is. if played smart you could have made 1k gold of profit just with t6 leather in a moment or with copper and candycorn after the last patch released. (investing after the reddit post some days before that)

Edit: 23k gold is nothing compared to some people out there. There are traders that have massive control on certain markets and you wont even notice. I just invest in patches and events.

After reading your posting history, I will just assume that you are bitter and got a problem with me. Go on mate, hit me like you mean it, I bet it will get you your dusk. Maybe you should have spent 10 minutes of trading every day instead of ranting. You might have gotten the money for 10 precursers already.

I dont deny that I get above average exotic drops and even precursers. But the rune gamble with high sample sizes has been proven by shiploads of data to be profitable if the major runes used are below a certain price.

And of the twelve precursers I got so far I gave away two, crafted four weapons and sold six. These not only being dusks and sparks. There was this torch for example. So there is no way I crafted 4 legendaries, bought T3 sets worth around 1k g, have my bank and mules loaded with eventstuff and still have 23k just through RNG.

That’s not what my post is showing. Gambling Runes above a certain sample size always yields gain of gold if the major runes you used are under 3s. Even under 4s you still will be making money or at least break even.

And that I know how to trade does not mean things fall into my hands. I did not get 23k gold through RNG.

Because if you use 1000 runes that you got however under 3s you will always get profit.

The RNG is just how much. Yesterday I got lucky on divinities and scholars so 30g turned into 60g over the course of a few minutes.
to add you get dungeon runes without having to run the dungeon. My ele is happy to always have 12 Superior Runes of the Monk (all above 12 I vendor). I hate dungeons.

Then it wont be at the discovery window but located in the crafting recipes window.

You need to learn the recipes (consumable) for the armor too.

Well, thank you very much everybody!
As I see it, in small groups and soloing high pressure is the name of the game for a warrior. If I cant burst high, I will die. Burst skills will have 85% critchance. I take this for reliable enough and will stick to the high critical damage, as this allows me to keep higher toughness and power too.

Going to craft it to 80 this weekend. At lvl 6 she already has bolt and twilight and will get frostfang end of this month together with ghastly shield. This will be epic facemelting. Cant wait!

I wasnt sure about this one, as I thought 1 stun on a high CD wasnt really worth it, but i guess it is the way to ensure eviscerate to crit. I will test my crits and if i crit often enough I will stick to furious reaction for the vigor. Rending strikes somehow glitched in there.

I plan to use both situationally.

Also I am not sure if the tooltip on unsuspecting foe adds 50% or gives 50%. The second option would be unnecessary.

Atm I am figuring out my WvW roamer build. Solo will be the GS/A+S cookiecutter and in smallscale roam GS/S+Sh.

Now my trouble is to decide wether i stick around 55% critchance with 70% critdamage or get higher in critchance (up to 80% possible) but losing 30-40% critdamage.

I know i highly benefit from critting due to mightstacking and bleeding for more dps on bleeding targets, but I am wondering very much where the balance for a warrior should be at critchance vs critdamage.

On my other toons I always felt pretty comfortable with around 40-50% critchance without counting fury, but people keep telling me warriors should always and forever crit, even if it means losing a lot of critdamage.

The build is focussed on total cc-condi and high condiimmunity and gear will definitely be knights. Now the trinkets are where I want to work on the mentioned stats. Weapons berserker.

I feel that 3k armour and 20k hp should be enough. I am new to warrior though, but experienced open pvp roamer.

Opinions on this would be highly appreciated.

I am still laughing about highest burst and dps. And I am trying to eat a Yoghurt, so laughing is quite counterproductive.

Stealth being OP, meh, i dont even. Class synergy, well, 0,20,30,20,0 is good for trolling. So some kind of synergy. No thief will ever catch a ranger or a warrior that does not want to be catched, so not even going to comment more about this.

Thief is broken against upscaled pvdoorlings.

Remove retaliation from the game or rework it if you want to change something in WvW, thieves really dont need another nerf.
