Wondered how DH, Druid and Auramancer reached meta status before Reaper did but I’m glad it’s there now. Been running Carrion Chills since they buffed it to do DOT.

Been spoiled with Reaper and can no longer function playing a core necromancer. Condi or power, Reaper just feels more superior.

There’s no middle ground in this game.

They’re either too militant and punitive or /shrug, not give a darn

I bought expac even though my characters have < 5% map completion in the last 3+ years. Lol I cant even access the new maps yet. And if I wanted the elite specs, I still have to farm for hero points on base and elite skills. No ty. Too boring. Lots of games with more excitement than the pve here. Maybe introducing 2 price points would have worked – one for pve/pvp and pvp only for like $15-20.

But as it stands right now, if you pvp a lot, the $50 is still cheap for the entertainment value you extract from it. I remember buying ESO for $80 and played 3 hours during BW and 0 hours on release. Lol.

He is literally one of the LAST veteran warriors in GW2. All the tourney warriors have shifted. I think kdaddy is still active on his warrior

But the devs want activity with their new class Revenant so I don’t think any attention will be given to warriors soon.

In general, I do much better during weekdays. So many bads play on weekends that end up in soloQ teams

That slight buff to Berserker felt like receiving a gift from the clearance section of the Dollar Store. You can argue that it’s better than nothing but sometimes, getting nothing is less offensive because you can still hope that something more significant is on the way.

The Real Problem why warrior sucks now is becuz of so many random evading attacks, random blind, random block, random slow, random CCs, random invisible traps, random invulnerability, random dodge of other classes.

Even fast hand base line will not solve this problem and I am pretty sure of it Becuase why war sucks is becuz we can’t hit but everything is missing. Zerker (either stance or berserker) Warrior is def unplayable right now becuz warrior does not have ability like evading attack but only purely direct dmg on enemy that is very much predictable.

For support warrior, they heal less than celestial druid unless warior uses cleric or settler amulet plus Banner regen heal. But with those amulet they have absolutely less damage than druid. Even though war having Cleric level of amulet, cele druid does similar healing support to Cleric level of support warrior. So if you run shout warrior it is a bit more playable than zerker warrior, but its like inferior version of the druid and you will get rekt by cele druid ranger at the end, takes long time tho.

Warrior is just almost un-playble in high tier of TPvP matchs where you get matched against high tier people who are in the guild like The Abjured or Apex or watever. I feel like I am getting avg -15% less winrate after HoT expansion. And every people who got me in their party saying like “can you plz stop playing kittening warrior?”

I think it’s just time to quit the game and come back when warrior become normal state. it will take at least more than half an year to one year becuz

which means anet will support only those classes for more than half an year. They will not correct balance until something happened in world tournament and I am pretty sure of it. And we witnessed alrrady that nerfing dd cele ele took more than an year.

To be honest, you have shared intelligent feedback on what warriors need and hope the developers take notice and consider them.

You should consider giving the Herald spec a try. The OP of this thread was spot on about how Revenant feels almost like a warrior. In fact, a lot of veteran warriors have swapped to playing Herald including Tarcis who I’ve encountered recently on my main acct.

I just started playing revenant! It’s great! Everything warrior could have asked for. I’ll be honest I’m 98 percent warrior with 8k games on it and this is the first time I have every really tired a new class and omg it is so much fun!!! No more running and running after people just 1200 range tele spam or going entire games not even having to use your heal. I’d say just drop warrior and play the new hotness I’ve waited for the buffs but at this point I’ve pretty much lost faith in their ability to balance. O and it only took me a day to feel confident on my revenant lol this kitten is soooooo easy!!! Just spam the duck out of UA and everything dies! It’s amazing the class plays itself. It’s like they introduced botting in the game lol I literally take may hands off the keyboard half the time. The problem a lot of folks have is when multiple DH spam their traps in large point team fights. Its a guarantee that the DH will down someone when it teleports then spams 2-3 traps in the middle of a fight.

Condition transfer or resistance.
Both stability and cc.
In one build.

They are good at everything. They are weak to nothing. And our problem is dragon hunter? (which I don’t even play because it’s so weak to range or a good stun locker)

MM is somewhat effective in low tier, soloQ. Higher tier premade teams dont care for it

warriors still haven’t recovered from the June 23 update specifically with condition damage output and also nerf to shouts.

before hambow became mainstream, I ran a s/s LB carrion warrior. that was 2+ years ago and it was one of the best builds for condition damage.

problem with berserker is that it relies on adrenaline (nerfed) and condition damage (nerfed)

if they increased the bleeding stacks and increased burning duration and stacks, berserker would be fine.

Pay to win arrangements you find a lot of in mobile gaming with developers of questionable/sleazy backgrounds.

HoT pvp is sorta in the gray area because 99% of the expac is pve related content.

It DOES give you an edge for NOW. But once a major balance update takes place, the new elite specs may risk falling behind core specs. It’s not technically pay to win because you can still win using core builds.

What are you smoking dude? Hammer Heralds have the lowest skillcap in the game. Just auto attack and press #2 every 2 seconds to melt the opposing team. They can easily curb stomp a DH from range (or anyone else for that matter).

in higher MMR games, you’re almost required to take Renewed Focus (Phantaram did and I understand why) for extra sustain because the build is very glassy.

DH got nerfed already. It is also one of the last viable guardian builds you can run. You can easily counter DH with a revenant and a scrapper. I main scrapper engie and have little problems with DH
