use it from beginn then u can easy steal the meat away from Chomper when u have 3-5 jsut kill chomper

Eh, I had to use my lvl 40 Warrior for “Blobs, Schmobs”. Worked out for me.

Never heard such a think. The one thing I can think of is that you are mistaking the eternal battleground with your borderlands. Those do change. Test this out to join your borderlands and then go to EB.

Torches and pitchforks are already within arm’s reach for most players over the constant use of the system the last couple of months. If they made the something as big as a birthday gift RNG, players will be raging in masses about it. The only happy people will be the 1-5% that got the exotic. Everyone else would be spewing rage spam in LA and the forums. They would be screaming they got gypped with their cheap mini. The one that took a year to get.

I would advise people to take off their rose colored, GW1 nostalgia, glasses just this once. Because nostalgia can be a very seductive liar…

GW1 birthday system was way way better than this. And the bithcing and moaning comes from people who feel they are entitled to everything in the game, right now.
Anticipation is or rather was a part of the birthday. And like the OP I wonder if there are any of the devs left who worked on GW1. They seem to do so much wrong it’s painfull to watch this game die.

Like many others here said they are convinced the living story approach works and giving in to the call for an expansion is admitting they are/were wrong about it.
i wonder who from the original GW team is still around, they should know that the expansions of gw1 made it. gw beyond was created to see if such an approach would work and people rather saw another complete expansion instead of small parts.

Well that’s about as much as I can take from this developer I think. They think they know it all but all people want is to stop with this living farming story and bring an expansion with new things to do.

I cant even open the balloon chest anymore with any of my chars. I am not sure that’s intentional because I got the whole achievment, or just a bug. The search on this forum is not exactly helping either.

Not too interested in the 200 gems, I can get them anytime I want. I want something unique, something that in a few years you still remember.

Go do Wvw as soon as possible. If you are on a server thats get pounded by the other two you will need the time. If you are on a top server yourself it’s a break from pve and quite easy.

Well since the legendaries do not have the best stats for a berserker mesmer it would suite a WvW guardian more I think.

On another note.
But myself I do not like the current ones and I hope Anet creates true legendary weapon with history in gw1. I would go for the obsidian sword or of course the bonedragonstaff.

Well the artists at Anet can be proud, there is something satisfying than people talking about your creation for more than 9 pages.

People can get easily upset about something they care about. Not saying it’s ok to hate on the dev team, but people want the game to get better for a reason.
And they sure need some thick skins, some of them have dolyak hide I think.

They were not very nice, that is quite obvious. On my server and on Desolation people are quite nice. if you want to start a chain you can do so whenever you want. It is also nice to give in mapchat you are about to do a champ spawning event, but not needed. I always do it because I like the help and also understand people want to know if one is active. Never had any people shouting at me, so you were unlucky I think, I hope…

The collapse was not because of the sewer, but digging. They wanted to find something there, something powerfull. Maybe they found it and others will try to get it..

I hate to say it, but if small scale combat is really your thing to the exclusion of all else, that’s what sPvP is for. It’s a blast, and on a much more level playing field.

spvp people would stomp me pretty kitten good. Most wvw players are no match for the pvp players. Of course there are some that can do both.

Of course alliances are a good idea, they were so in gw1. Guilds, wvw and the whole player vs player is in need of a serious update in gw2.

I agree, I have not done the complete gauntlet, but I agree that this is al done very good. There are some things left to improve, The NPC should rez players I think and sometimes the lag influences the gauntlet game above.

For the event outside the gauntlet, the champions spawn in the open world, could you let them be somewhat near the baloon? For instance in some places I can run as hard as i can but people camping the champ already got him killed before I get there :/

I am not sure on this, some of the fights(not just talking about liadri here) are a bit random for my taste. And I do not like one shotting, have never liked it in any game I have played.
But people seem to enjoy the event and even though I migt not be able to finish this that’s ok. I am not good enough to do all the things in the game anyway.

Any and all flaws of this video can be blamed on recording decreasing frame rates, camera angles ,being a charr, etc.

In it’s current state it is way too weak, it should also add some protection, damage reduction.
