Champion Loot Updates

All of the champions in the game will now award a new bonus loot bag upon their death if you qualify for loot rewards on that boss when it is killed. These bags have a chance to contain rare crafting materials, items that award skill points, and more!

It will get people back to Orr, lots of champs there.
But you might be right and people would go for the easy champs.

I use it on my still leveling guardian. Who cares about competitive, it’s a game and I find torch fun to play with.

It seems like they intended to have a canthan district in early stages of the game but somehow changed their mind at some point and erased it, creating the great collapse in the process.
They (tried) to delete every mention in the lore of the game of this district and made instead an art district which is the one supposed to have been destroyed in the collapse.

However, they somehow forgot some mention of the original canthan district and that’s why there’s still some NPCs mentioning it.
I think these mentions must be seen as oversights from dev side and should not be taken as lore.

I like to think it’s Anet way to “protest” the fact they had to remove that district from the headoffice in korea. Kept in the little things.

So the queens jubilee is together with the 1 year celebration of gw2. I can’t wait what they have in store for this event

It’s courtesy to call out an event for others to be able to join in, but it is by no means required. They were jerks about it to be sure so I don’t feel sorry for them but in general it’s a nice thing to do for people in your zone.

Only one thing thats wrong with it, camping in the water with rations where the ghosts cannot hurt you. The water needs to be a bit more dangerous.

Using the ghost trick, you can get on average 100 points per game and it really takes no effort to do. That’s only 25 games or approximately 4 hours.

The ghost trick as in dying as fast as you can and stock up on nodes?

Still busy with 100% completion. Only the wvw part left and not sure how to start there. Too bad I started my first 100% with my elementalist, not the most used profession in wvw I think. Havent seen one in the outposts yet

Not really a fan of the dervish, my least played with char of gw1.
A rit would be great, but no idea how they will transform this into a gw2 profession. Ghosts? i dont think so.

You can do the PvP ones just hanging out in the Mists area and doing that tutorial. If you don’t mind doing that.

But its not a bad idea to be able to remove achievements from that list. My hints is still stuck at 81/83 because the broken armor and mail one will still never register for me. And I’m tired of it taunting me. :P

So it’s not just me then. I got the brokem armour one too. And save to say I got a lot of broken armour during the gameplay.

petetion to rename the game to farm wars. I do not know what the guild in this title should be in this game. One year and still no guild halls?? How hard can that one be.

I was going to do the survival just for the points. I started out at 13:00 last sunday and suddenly it was 17:00. It was way more fun after a few times and getting better.
This was pretty much on the same level as sanctum sprint. They sure did great with the mini games.
Now the one i do not like untill they fix it is the candidate trials.

Almost 100 votes for evon today. I want him on 3 mill atleast.

I didnt like it at first but it grew on me. There are i think a few places to hide that not many people know off. A few wins by the same guy who none of the ghost could find told me he or she had a great place to hide

So… it looks like Magnus will have 2 votes in the council breaking the balance? Not cool.

I like Magnus but him having 2 votes (Kiel is his Robin, she will do EVERYTHING he commands and Kiel lacks a lot of personality) on the same individual on a council of equals breaks the power balance.

Just some reminders hoping to affect the final outcome:

- If you’re voting the pretty face, Evon’s first mate is human female and prettier than Kiel.

- If you’re voting for the human, take in consideration that you’re really voting for a Norn (Magnus) as Kiel winning only means 2 votes for Magnus. Aditionally Evon offers the most important battle for humanity in a fractal.

- If you’re voting for the waypoints, take in mind that it is a temporal thing, so you will save like… 30 silver maybe? No big deal compared with permanent content.

- If you’re voting to punish RNG, take in consideration that Evon is just the NPC, it’s an outside game lore decission (and if you’re blaming Evon for that, start blaming him for being able to trade quickly, finding what you want to buy or selling really fast anything you got). Aditionally current iteration of the RNG is akittens best as now you can buy the skins from players so you don’t need to take risks.

While Evon might offer (one of) the most important battle for humanity, Kiel offers insight into the single most important battle for ALL the races, namely the Elder Dragons. Thaumanova has been confirmed to relate to all six of the Elder Dragons, which are far more important than the human gods.

Also, keep in mind that Evon is either manufacturing goods for or dealing directly with the Molten Alliance (and thus Flame Legion), as well working with the Consortium. Neither of which have any good intentions for LA.

Well the dragons are pretty boring so far :/ So lore wise it’s gods 1, dragons 0.

I’m sure Anet is learning lessons on the mistakes they made with the current dragons.

No player will ever get to kill a God in this game. So they will still need large enemies like dragons for players to kill.

I think they make bad foes(dragons), they need some kind of avatar instead of a mountain tall foe to beat. It would make it a better fight for me that is.

Well we didnt kill them in gw1, and that was fine by me.

I have used one of my revive orbs for the first time. I really wonder what this is about. It takes forever to do, it was almost faster to waypoint and walk back.
After you are revived you have 1 health and cannot do anything, so I wonder what idiot came up with this brilliant idea.

Better suggestion is to start buying Gnash support and join the winning team.

Some people just don’t know what we are cappable of. Even some rangers don’t know.

A lot of ranger refuse to or dont know how to keep thier pets alive. Giving fuel to the notion that we do less damage. Some ranger refuse to master the 1h sword or melee in general adding to the fuel that we have less dps.

I play a ranger for a reason, if I want a sword there are enough of my chars already running around with one. Only one of my chars has a bow :/

It would be a nice addition to the oversized swords in the game. It fits the mesmer and would even work on a necro just fine.
